Honestly at this point I'd really like to know the fucking salary at the O.I.A.R.
Because while in Archives, it is stated at some point that there was a pay upgrade to work in the Archives, which incitated people to take the position to later be stuck unable to quit, on the Protocol side we have the O.I.A.R, which is civil service.
It doesn't pay well. Even though the Institute in TMA is technically a non-profit organisation, I'm still pretty sure any position there pays better than a civil service job. So why did Alice stay ?
She isn't stupid, and maybe has a degree -- and even if she didn't, there are still jobs that doesn't need a degree out there. And she knows that working there is dangerous, which is why she turns a blind eye and pretend not to care.
But here's the thing : many of her lines suggest that at some point she did care. She probably was exactly like Jon, looking for answers and trying to know what was behind those cases, why were there recurring names, places, everything !
But she stopped, she decided to shut it down and turn a blind eye. My question is : why ? Why not quit ? She knows it's dangerous, she knows there are things that could get her killed, so why stay when the safest option is to quit and leave it behind ? And why tell Sam to come work there ? I mean, I get that he needed help, but if I knew my job was dangerous and that my friend was overly curious, I wouldn't recommend them to come here.
So I'm really asking how my the government pays her to stay.

First off please excuse my bad English, I'm still learning.
I have a (probably dumb) question: if you marry a bastard in the ASOIAF universe, do you take their last name as a rule or does it go by case by case basis for whatever reason? I'm newer to the fandom so I don't know. Can anyone help let me know? 🤗

“So you pray. Have you considered your sisters? What of their rights? I agree that the North must not be permitted to pass to the Imp, but what of Arya? By law, she comes after Sansa…your own sister, trueborn…” “…and dead. No one has seen or heard of Arya since they cut Father’s head off. Why do you lie to yourself? Arya’s gone, the same as Bran and Rickon, and they’ll kill Sansa too once the dwarf gets a child from her. Jon is the only brother that remains to me. Should I die without issue, I want him to succeed me as King in the North. I had hoped you would support my choice.” (Catelyn V, ASOS)
This is truly one of, if not the, most erased passages in the books. People either completely ignore its existence or act as though George wrote it in some secret, coded language that makes it all ambiguous.

The thing I love so much about Jonsasha dual archivist AUs is how easily it becomes a "them against the world" situation. Falling into the Beholding at almost exactly the same time, developing similar (although perhaps not identical) powers, having the same inhuman diet, driving away their coworkers...
And yeah that last one IS super vital to Jonsasha because I think they would. Jon's paranoia combined with Sasha's stalking skills? Their intelligence and reckless knowledge-seeking? It would be a mess. Tim losing both his close friend and his (work friend? acquaintance?) at the same time, right after a traumatic experience? The others watching as they start withdrawing into each other more and more (even as they're each monitoring the other for signs of betrayal). Do you think Sasha "lets hang with my creepy monster stalker at midnight (without telling anyone)" James would catch on to the blink-and-you-miss-it reference to the possibility that the web table traps the Not-Them? I am not totally convinced she would even bother getting a weapon before investigating it (which is... exactly what she did in canon, actually??).
I want them to hear the Jurgen statement together. I want them to go out and share a smoke and a charged conversation while Elias does his thing. I want them to go tearing through the London supernatural community with reckless abandon. I want Elias to have to frantically restructure his plans while he tries to figure out how the hell having Two Entire Archivists might mess with his plans. I want them to rack up marks shockingly quickly. I want Sasha to encourage Jon to hop over boundaries with her. I want them to drag each other down. I want them to be feared and hated by the remaining archival staff because Sasha keeps Knowing deeply personal information about them "accidentally" and Jon can't stop compelling people and they have the same freaky eyes and they're chasing each other down the same destructive path.
I want Jonsasha taking solace in each other, exchanging statements about their respective supernatural encounters (look it's cute ok?) and coming to Know each other in a way nobody else ever could. I want them to anchor each other. I want them to make everything worse forever. I want them to always defend each other, even as their own guilt keeps piling up and their friends keep getting angry and hurt. Dual archivist Jonsasha is two sides of the same coin, coming together even as they drive everybody else away. It's so juicy and I think about it constantly.
I think Elias finds a way to pull off his plan and when he does they slowly give in to their natures and enjoy their apocalypses after a lovely and long mutual corruption arc. That is all.

Sansa Stark having a type:
Renly Baratheon
He was the handsomest man Sansa had ever set eyes upon ; tall and powerfully made, with jet-black hair that fell to his shoulders and framed a clean-shaven face, and laughing green eyes to match his armor
Sansa I — A Game of Thrones
Loras Tyrell
He even looked a true hero, so slim and beautiful, with golden roses around his slender waist and his rich brown hair tumbling down into his eyes
Sansa III — A Game of Thrones
Wed to Ser Loras,oh... Sansa's breath caught in her throat. She remembered Ser Loras in his sparkling sapphire armor, tossing her a rose. Ser Loras in white silk, so pure, innocent, beautiful. The dimples at the corners of his mouth when he smiled. The sweetness of his laugh, the warmth of his hand. She could only imagine what it would be like to pull up his tunic and caress the smooth skin underneath, to stand on her toes and kiss him, to run her fingers through those thick brown curls and drown in his deep brown eyes. A flush crept up her neck
Sansa I — A Storm of Swords
Margaery Tyrell
She was sixteen, brown-haired and brown-eyed, slender and beautiful
Sansa I — A Storm of Swords
When Margaery Tyrell smiled, she looked very like her brother Loras
Sansa I — A Storm of Swords
Ellaria Sand
As they were crossing the yard, Prince Oberyn of Dorne fell in beside them, his black-haired paramour on his arm. Sansa glanced at the woman curiously. She was baseborn and unwed, and had borne two bastard daughters for the prince, but she did not fear to look even the queen in the eye. Shae had told her that this Ellaria worshipped some Lysene love goddess. "She was almost a whore when he found her, m'lady," her maid confided, "and now she's near a princess." Sansa had never been this close to the Dornishwoman before. She is not truly beautiful, she thought, but something about her draws the eye
Sansa IV — A Storm of Swords
Waymar Royce
Ser Waymar Royce was the youngest son of an ancient house with too many heirs. He was a handsome youth of eighteen, grey-eyed and graceful and slender as a knife
Prologue — A Game of Thrones
She had fallen wildly in love with Ser Waymar, she remembered dimly
Alayne I — A Feast For Crows
Myranda Royce
Myranda was soft-bodied and sweet-smelling, broad of hip, thick of waist, and extremely buxom. Her thick chestnut curls framed round red cheeks, a small mouth, and a pair of lively brown eyes
Alayne II — A Feast For Crows
Mya Stone
Slim and sinewy, Mya looked as tough as the old riding leathers she wore beneath her silvery ringmail shirt. Her hair was black as a raven's wing, so short and shaggy that Alayne suspected that she cut it with a dagger. Mya's eyes were her best feature, big and blue. She could be pretty, if she would dress up like a girl
Alayne II — A Feast For Crows
Candidates (the endgame I want and the one I think will be canon, plus they aren't too old):
Jeyne Poole
She was a pretty, dark-haired girl of Sansa's own age
Sansa III — A Game of Thrones
Jon Snow
Jon's eyes were a grey so dark they seemed almost black, but there was little they did not see. He was of an age with Robb, but they did not look alike. Jon was slender where Robb was muscular, dark where Robb was fair, graceful and quick where his half brother was strong and fast
Bran I — A Game of Thrones
And the most important thing:
Beric Dondarrion was handsome enough, but he was awfully old, almost twenty-two
Sansa III — A Game of Thrones

Daenerys could literally be the devil reincarnated and it is still infeasible for her to be the one to torch King's Landing;
A desperate Cersei (who is essentially a female!Aerys), a violent hord of religious zealots, two (rightfully) blood-thirsty sand snakes, the tyrells and lannisters about to be at each other's throats, shady Qyburn doing gods know what, are all IN King's Landing. A cocky would-be claimant is marching with deadly-infected, nothing-to-lose, bell-triggered Jon who-regrets-burning-a-city Connington TOWARDS it, and murderous crazy newly crowned Euron Greyjoy lusts for the Iron Throne.
Yet according to the ✨smart book experts✨all these plots will apparently freeze and these murderous hotheads will patiently wait for Daenerys to speed run through all of her essosi plots; travel to Vaes Dothrak, gather all the khalassars, travel to Meereen by horse pace, fight the war against the slavers, deal with Victarion, the Iron fleet and the Dragonbinder, deal with Viserion and Rhaegal being loose, Quentyn's death and his remaining companions, Yunkai and its allies, burn the dead from the pale mare and the war, divide fiends from foes, which the later includes her husband and the Green Grace (tho both could be dead by the time Daenerys returns) meet Red Priest Moqorro and Maester Marwyn, hear about Azor Ahai and the Others, meet Tyrion Lannister, face Jorah Mormont again, hear from Illyiro and Varys's many schemes, mend the wounds of her people, get a large enough fleet to carry her host somewhere and cross half of the world (a journey for which Tyrion and Quentyn needed an enitre book) with a bus stop at Volantis, where she will likely meet Benerro and The Widow At The Waterfront and council the slave revolt, etc... so she is The One™ to barbecue King's Landing since *checks note*... itS sO SUbvErsIve, but also; iTs bEen bUilT uP to ThAT sInCe Aegon’s Conquest. 🤡
