why is everything connected to Toto somehow, this is starting to drive me insane.

I'm reading the wikipedia page for Joseph Williams (one of the many singers they've had, and one of the three remaining band members) and:

that. that was my favourite show as a kid. I didn't get to watch it often (we were rarely allowed to watch TV at home so I only watched it at my grandma's), and of course I only ever saw it in German, so I had never even heard the original song until I just watched it on YouTube, but like??? that's my boy* in that intro what the fuck

*he's actually a 61 year old man now but shhh who cares he's my boy

and also this:

I've never seen The Lion King (wasn't allowed to watch Disney movies and then felt like I was too old; I will watch it someday, probably) but again. that's. my. boy!!

also his dad is John Williams (the composer).

combined with all the albums/songs all the other members of Toto have worked on over the decades it really feels like literally everything is related to them somehow and I'm feeling so normal about it all
