I was thinking about the Hatsune Miku robot created by missile_39 and jrharbort's words about it on mikufan.

While as a new miku/vocaloid fan 6 years ago I would have surely thought that creating a Hatsune Miku robot/AI was the ultimate goal, my thoughts sure have changed now. A robot or an AI just aren't fitted nor needed for that. It's more than singing popular internet/'otaku' songs. It's more than an appearance that everyone recognizes. It's more than the concerts. It's more than the video games. It's about all of this coming together and bringing joy to the people who created and keeps creating what is Hatsune Miku every day since 2007 and to those who will enjoy and share these creations. I don't think a robot (or anything else at all) can fit all of this inside it and convey it back. I think real-life Hatsune Miku is already there, there's a bit of it inside everyone's heart.

𓆃 It’s less like being stuck in the middle of an argument and more like being stuck in the middle of a pseudo-intellectual hell where one side clearly cares a lot more than the other

𓆃 Sure, like with all members of the Akatsuki, you might have to worry about an assassination attempt, but honestly, one of your partners killing you is the least of your worries.

𓆃 What you should worry about is the never-ending pissing match between Sasori and Deidara. Not to mention that they’re both on exact opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to interacting with you

𓆃 Deidara is the most vocal about his art and jutsu. He always wants to show you something, usually in the most annoying way possible. Whether it’s waking you up so he can put a literal bomb in your hand or just blowing micro-explosions up in your face, he can and will get your attention

𓆃 You’ll be half asleep, and Deidara will put a clay creation in your hand for you to feel the craftsmanship, and he can and will blow it up when you’re still holding it

𓆃 He actually prefers it that way

𓆃 You definitely have some sort of poisoning from the detonation

𓆃 Sasori is always tinkering with something and barely paying attention to anything you say, which would be tolerable if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s also secretly a show-off

𓆃 Sasori constantly makes snide and passive-aggressive comments, all while holding up his craftsmanship as superior. He won’t outwardly demand that you look at his work, but he will patronize you and step on your mission role to handle things himself

𓆃 It’s easier not to take sides when the bickering happens. Neither can really let it go, despite Sasori always acting like he’s above it. 

𓆃 Deidara never stops talking about art once he’s in the zone, and Sasori’s snide remarks spur him on further. Both of them are too prideful to conceed

𓆃 It’s fun playing referee for their sparring matches. Sometimes, when the conversation gets heated, the two of them fight. They fight until Deidara gets knocked out, Sasori gets bored, or they recklessly get too low on chakra

𓆃 If you’re ever in a pinch and need an assist, Deidara likes to make a big show of saving you. 

𓆃 “That’ll show you to admire my art!” “My superior artwork comes to the rescue yet again!”

𓆃 Sasori is the type to grab you by the back of your collar and drag you out of the way at close range. He thinks it’s funny to attach chakra strings to you before swooping in with his battle puppets

𓆃 In fact, he thinks it’s funny and convenient to do that even when you’re not on the battlefield. If Sasori wants your attention and you don’t hear him, he will physically turn you around from whatever you’re doing

𓆃 You’ve started to feel the tiny attachment of chakra strings in your sleep. You’ve started to brush them away like spiderwebs

𓆃 Deidara likes to walk around with his shirt off. On days he’s feeling generous, he’ll let you do his hair. It’s kinda become a bonding thing between the two of you. Sometimes he’ll yammer on about something, and you pass the time by braiding his hair. 

𓆃 You remembered being able to do Hiruko’s hair once. You don’t remember why Sasori allowed it.

𓆃 “Yeah, whatever, but if you get poisoned I’m not giving you an antidote...” 

𓆃 You’re as close as an Akatsuki three-man squad will get. There’s a certain amount of healthy distrust, but at the end of the day, Sasori and Deidara are sentimental and enjoy the company... for now...

Sure, I don't mind at all!

For top five characters, I'd say the top three are pretty static, where the other two positions can fluctuate. I love a lot of characters! For today, I'll go with:

Tenzo: So many things! I love that that he is both stern and compassionate with the Team 7 kids. I love that he makes them a Welcome Team Kakashi sign, and I love how he can be a bit of a show-off. I love how he is enamoured by Kakashi's flattery but also enjoys arguing about soba with him. I love how he makes Naruto porridge and tucks him into bed after a panic attack. I love that he has a place in his heart for Sasuke even though they weren't teammates directly. I love that he likes scaring teens with his spooky face. I love that he is willing to question anyone (including Tsunade, Kakashi and the Raikage). I love how he radiates Tired Old Man Energy despite being 26. I love that despite having one of the most difficult origin stories in the series, he is only ever kind-hearted. I love that he has this jutsu which is all about nature, but his creations are often structured and architectural, because that's who he is. I love that both his powers and decision-making are affected by being around Team 7. I enjoy him a lot!

Kakashi: I love his love of not only Team 7, but of all of his friends' students. I love his compassion towards his enemies. I love how much he stands by Sasuke in particular, both in a sense of physical protection but also emotional outreach. I love that he grows from feeling like a failure in leadership at Kannabi Bridge to leading his whole village. I love how he wants to be socially off-putting, but he's actually the most popular guy of all of his peers. I love that in the face of immense loss he opens his heart again and again. I love that he's self-effacing about his personal qualities, but unbelievably competent and hard-working with his ninja abilities. I love his dynamics with Gai, Tenzo, Tsunade, and so many more. I love how neither him nor Tenzo want the kids to see him kill Kakuzu. I love that he's a dog person. I love that his hair's a little stupid. I love that he writes Naruto notes about eating more veggies. I love the ongoing bit of covering half of his face. I love him!!

Sasuke: This post has already gotten quite long, but I love how Sasuke's greatest struggle in the series is fighting how much love he feels. I love his body "just moves" when Team 7 is in danger. I love that he ran to protect Naruto when Itachi was after him. I love that he thanked Sakura and laid her gently on a bench to say goodbye. I love that he is an extremely competent ninja, but can't come up with his own answers the Chunin written exam at all. I love that he reins in his curse mark by thinking about Naruto and Sakura. I love how he constantly changes his aesthetic in questionable ways. I love that he causes international incidents. I love that he uno-reverses Orochimaru. I love how desperately he tries to understand Itachi, the Hokage, Konoha, and himself. I love that he's a snake expert who gets parenting advice from Aoda. I love that he's a cat person. I love his narrative is not about him being home (in Konoha) but about having a home, as in a place to return to where he is loved. He is Teenage Ninja Batman and he is Me, The Baby.

Gaara: I'll try and keep this brief(er): I love that he is so, so unhinged during the Chunin Exams and EQUALLY, so well-adjusted after. I love his relationship with his siblings. I love that he is the first person we see to be both jinchuriki and Kage. I love that he's like, "Wow, Lee, you're slower," during the Retrieval Mission as if he did not personally rearrange Lee's legs. I love that he calls out the other Kage for forsaking themselves. I love that by default his power is defensive. I love how much he adores Naruto. I could talk more, but you get the idea!

Hashirama: I love how he is smart enough to found a village and invent a whole style of jutsu, but at the same time he's extremely silly. I love his relationship with Madara, calling him a "gift from the divine" to begin with, and saying that he's "fundamentally kind" after he's killed thousands of people. I love that he puts matching statues of him and his ex at the border. I love that as he also had this loving relationship with Mito, he invented bisexuality in the Naruto universe. I love that he bows his head to the other Kage. I love that he teaches his granddaughter to gamble (poorly). I love his dynamic with Tobirama, and his love for his siblings. I love him saying, "I'll deal with you later!" I love him patiently explaining to Sasuke his entire origin story. I love that he is willing to die for peace, but also willing to fight for it.

(Honourable mentions to Minato, Kushina, Tsunade, Naruto, Sakura, Neji and Zabuza who I also thought about putting on this list.)

As for favourite moments, here are a few:

Kakashi standing up to Orochimaru on Sasuke's behalf, without mangekyo, back-up, and after signfiicant blood loss

i love evil necromancer/enthusiastic mad scientist tobirama as much as the next guy but i think the way some of his haters use the creation of the edo tensei to demonize him is blown waaay out of proportion.

i think it's pretty clear in canon that jutsus don't need to be used to their fullest extent in order to be understood by their users/makers. it should be reasonable to assume that after shinobi gain a certain level of knowledge n expertise, they could do most of their experimenting in the theory department and not..with live subjects. After all, how did granny Chiyo figure out for sursies that her resurrection justsu will kill her to bring someone back while she was developing it? How can multiple characters one-take the reaper death seal? These aren't exactly justsu you can practice

tangentially, doesn't tobirama mention some justsu he has where he can project his soul to help someone? Like, are we assuming that he threw his soul out of his body several times in order to fine tune it? or can we imagine that he probably developed it til it was reasonably safe to use before actually attempting it for the first time?

A list of things the founders make lists about:

Madara: not a list person. Nevertheless, he'll try to map out the pros and cons of a situation before getting frustrated and setting the paper on fire

Who's the most important person to Naruto??

1. Sasuke

Whatcha looking at. YES, it's always and always Sasuke. No one was willing to give him a hand, lift him up, approach him like a normal person. But one day, when everyone abandoned them, everyone looked at them with different eyes and talked behind their backs....

There was only one person who Acknowledged their existence with a simple smile that they were not alone. Just. A. Smile. Something as simple as a smile can help relieve a person's sadness, anger, stress and anxiety and open their heart to the smile we give. When someone smiles at you in a neglected world, it automatically lifts our spirits. We can't help but smile back. They go through a miserable life, but seeing someone smiling at you inevitably makes you feel better. It brings a waterfall of positive emotions and happiness. All of a sudden the terrible day become the most precious day. This feeling creates other positive sensations that continue to have positive effects on the mind and body. The ones who smile at you. It shows that they are friendly, approachable and interested in getting to know you in any situation. It contributes to their happiness and creates strong and Long-lasting bonds and relationships.

That's why Naruto says this:

He smiles because for a moment it brings him closer to the other. There is a connection for a moment. Both of them acknowledged. Maybe every day is a bad day, but every day there is something good, and that good happens when both of them smile at each other. That day which turns out to be the most precious day for both of them. At that moment where it all began. It was there that they got their first bond. It also made their bond unbreakable. It is their weakness, spirit, motivation, strength, admiration, respect….

It led Sasuke to abandon his life and goal (at that age) only just to protect Naruto. No regrets. no doubt. Even in his last moment he thinks about his unforgettable moments with Naruto. "You… don't die…" were Sasuke's final words to Naruto before dying in his arms. It means he believes in him. He trusted him. Sasuke shows that Naruto's life is more important than his goal and his own life. And it also shows how much value and importance he placed on Naruto in his life. That's why Naruto went feral and lost control of himself. Bcz, In his little thoughts he always wants to protect Sasuke. After that, he becomes stronger and stronger to protect Sasuke. Even if it cost him his life, Naruto was willing to give his life to Sasuke and wasn't going to leave him be alone. Sasuke was the one who taught him to die to protect his important person. That power makes even Sasuke jealous. But that Sasuke was the reason behind Naruto's strength and his own jutsu creation. Sasuke was his driving force, inspiration and strength.

(publicly declares) he wants to fight with Naruto because he has acknowledged his strength. That was an open acknowledgment from Sasuke.[[Yes definitely with a lub-dub response]] It was what he always wanted to hear from him. This shows that he was focused enough to notice his strengths and skills he may not even see in himself. It shows appreciation for who he was and how hardworking he was. It will make him more motivated and positive, which makes him more likely to focus on getting stronger. There are more acknowledgement Sasuke given to him... like that time when he gave bento to Naruto.... And there's more And that's why Naruto said this to Sai....

Sasuke was the one he always wanted to bond with the beginning. He desperately longed for that moment. That was his deepest desire.

2. Iruka sensei

Iruka sensei was canonically the first person to acknowledge Naruto. He also supported him. Even Iruka risked his life to protect Naruto but still he got no reaction from him. Because he doubted him. All of that was changed and cleared only after Iruka acknowledged Naruto as a person, as his student, and as a shinobi.

Acknowledgment occurs when both parties are involved in the same scene. And accepting it. In Iruka's case, when he protected Naruto, he was there and heard those words from him. Both of them are involved when it comes to Sasuke's case, and it was straight up pure acknowledgment between them. And no one ever did anything to him like either Sasuke Or Iruka.

When his life was hard, everyone looked at him like a monster when he was alone in that world, but they didn't see the real Naruto in front of them. By making pranks to connect with others, he desperately wanted them to look at him and accept him as a person. People who tell him that he was "weird" are really saying that they don't deserve to be his friend and he shouldn't associate with them. They don't even like him when he was himself.

When you search for "bond" you won't get it. Once you stop looking completely, it will come closer to you and find you. That's how his first bond unexpectedly received at the lake pier in the form of Sasuke. It was also a life-changing moment for them. He accepted Naruto as Naruto. He loved his goofiness, loud talking, pranking, and above all it also makes him happy too.

Sasuke reached out to Naruto with a simple smile, but why couldn't the others?? Everyone accepted him only after he shows how strong he was. But Not when he needs them the most.

That's why Iruka and Sasuke becomes the most important persons in his life and they were the two bonds he ever had.

Konohas 11 and they’re 7 deadly sins?

I'll do the full 12 because I do so hate to leave sweet Sasuke out.

Naruto is a hard one. For all that he gets on my nerves as a character, he's little mr. sunshine, isn't he? But if I had to choose, I'd go with pride. I was going to say greed, but a quick google told me that greed pertains to earthly desires, and he has a preternatural yearning for love and acceptance, not riches. But he's proud in the way Itachi is. He thinks his idealistic view of the world is not only objectively correct, but also the only moral option very often. And, to be fair, it usually works out for him. He's similar to Itachi's pride in that he also believes he knows what's best for Sasuke (re: dragging him back to Konoha kicking and screaming).

Sasuke is wrath. How could he be anything else? He's a self-declared avenger, and for all that that isn't his fault, that is the path he treads without a thought of straying.

Sakura is also wrath. I think. She's angry and violent and thirsty to prove herself, and I can't blame her!

Kiba is pride, I think. He's a good guy (and none of the others feel right), but his dream of being Hokage feels...well, far-fetched, considering his competition and predecessors. Also, he's pretty all bark/no bite in his younger years.

Hinata is sloth for her lack of follow-through, though this is not her fault. She has great goals and dreams and is coming from a tough spot and terrible family, but she didn't do much more than become personally stronger.

Shino is wrath, for he can hold a grudge like no one else. He isn't wrong to feel slighted (re: Naruto forgetting who he even is when he returns from his Jiraiya travels), but he does not forgive and he does not forget.

Shikamaru is sloth, though I thought about arguing for pride. But, well, he tried to feign sleep through the beginnings of an invasion of his village, and that's that.

Ino is tentatively lust, but I think that's more of an issue with her character creation than it is with her as a person. She doesn't quite fit into any of the others, and if I'm really reaching to find something for her, she does canonically enjoy the idea of beautiful men fighting for her affections more than anything else.

Choji is not, in fact, gluttony. He eats the way he does for a specific purpose, and that purpose is using his sick clan jutsu to crush his enemies. I think Choji might be sloth, in that he doesn't seem to have much internal motivation to do...well, much of anything most of the time. This is especially so when it comes to ninja-related things.

Neji is wrath or, in the earlier years, pride. But, honestly, can you blame him? He's enslaved to the main branch of his clan and is a genius even against the backdrop of said clan.

Tenten is sloth, though it isn't her fault. Her character isn't terribly developed, and to my knowledge she ends up as some sort of weapons merchant as an adult. That's disappointing and not living up to her potential, and I think she could be more.

Rock Lee is pride in that he's valued proving himself above the safety and success of both himself and his team, though this is particularly in the chunin exam era. He's certainly grown with age, but his initial choices were...woof.

not because it's a stupid useless jutsu compared to the thousands he could've learned or created instead, but because he intensely studied the figures of men he found attractive...that were not me

Thinking of Team Minato with Gai instead of Obito

Thinking of Kakashi starting off still being snobby and a prick, but also genuinely getting along with Gai and having an active and willing sparing partner that wanted to grow stronger and challenge him.

Thinking of Gai pumping rin up and instead of getting upset about her crush on Kakashi, reminding her to focus on her training and to keep pushing herself

Thinking of Gai supporting Rin in her medical training, but also in her trap works and Kakashi at first hovering back watching it all happen before coming forward and both helping rin with her traps and learning more about traps from her because he LOVES to improve himself and isn’t ashamed to ask for help in area’s he’s lacking in.

Thinking of Kakashi never really getting to perfect his chidori without the sharingan, but Gai pumping him up to figure something else out so he starts exploring other jutsu and creations until he comes up with his chidori stream (which doesn’t increase his speed as much and can slice through targets) so that he can STILL use his jutsu but in a new and interesting way

Sai should have been Shino

I like Sai especially as outside of Shikamaru and Sasuke he's more of Naruto's best friend

But after his arc in Tenchi Bridge, he more or less is just there to fill that fourth member for Team Kakashi

As he's barely supporting more so to have someone for Naruto Sakura or Yamato to talk off of when the other two are doing something

And like a lot, his big moment is in the war where he more or less is used to just wrap his story up and he's one of the few to get that as Choji and Tenten are kinda the few, as they couldn't touch every person like Lee, Kiba, Shino and etc

So I think in a lot of ways Sai became unnecessary his debut arc as the friend role can be played by any of the Konoha 11

Neji can give the wiser advice, Lee can be supporting, he can butt heads with Kiba, etc

Why Shino?

I think Sai has four main traits as a character that you would have to replace

Anbu/Root connection

Brother plot

Ink/Sealing

Non-normal communication skills

And I think of the existing Konoha 11 characters I think Shino can fill those traits the best

Anbu/Root connection

Based on Torune and the other lore-like characters like Yoji Aburame, the Aburame clan are the most anbu-ready skill set-wise

And of the Konoha 12, he seemed the most likely for Anbu with the only other contention would have been Sasuke if he stayed

Brother plot

So Shino doesn't have a brother but it's been stated that he viewed Torune as a brother who is his cousin kinda similar to Neji and Hinata (they're just half siblings due to fathers being twins) so you essentially can make Torune Shino’s Shin and still kill him off during the time skip and make that be what has Shino wants bonds and such

Plus it helps the Anbu/Root connection as well

And due to using Torune this where you can either just use any other Anbu member for Torune in the summit arc or even put Sai here in a weird twist of fate

Ink & Sealing

So it'll take some more expansion of his insect usage to be similar to Sai’s Ink but I can see his insects doing a lot of what Sai’s ink creations can do from forming into different shapes, to scouting, lifting people up etc

The only thing would be if the insects can do the equivalent of “punching” that Sai’s ink jutsu can do but we've seen things like Gaara’s sand and Shikamaru’s Shadows being used like that so Shino using a ton of bugs in that way is plausible I feel

Sealing is that area where it matters in the war arc but before that it isn't as necessary so if you need to you can make some weird insect-sealing jutsu to justify it or add a character in those moments to seal it such as you can give a character like Tenten the sealing capabilities if necessary

And with the Anbu connection that can just be hand waved saying all the Anbu have minimum sealing ability

Non-normal communication

Shino was already the character that got ignored and people don't talk to normally so they have that in common

But would Shino do the same insults or lack of understanding of what others are feeling? Probably not so those would need some general writing fixes

But in other ways his anbu/root training can change his outlook on things since its a timeskil meaning we can be more flexible with his personality

So concept wise Shino can replace Sai as he covers the main traits Sai has and other things would be dialogue changes and backstory tweaks

Practicality wise…

The big change is the Tenchii bridge arc

A lot of the tension was that Naruto and Sakura didn't know or trust Sai so if it's Shino that wouldn't be the same even if Shino changed from the Anbu/Root they would be approaching more the aspect that he changed

As I can see Shino being willing to kill Sasuke and butting heads with them over that even without the change so putting him here can work in the character aspect

Obviously, more dialogue changes as Sasuke would know Shino and vice versus, Yamato would be more of the odd man out, etc

Other arcs

Shino might not be the one to be checking on Naruto in the hidan and kakuzu arc as he might be busy I don't see him as the replacement for Sasuke as Team 8 still exists but he also can be here just because but again this can be anyone from Kiba to Hinato to Tenten even

In the pursuit arc would just need to fill the missing slot since no Sai as Shino is already here and mostly anyone can fill this part even someone like a Konohamaru

Summit, basically someone to have Narutos back and again Shino’s skillset does the same thing as Sai for the most part

If anything he might be more resistant to Sakura’s poison and shakes that story up more

War arc, not much put his anime filler moment against Torune in place of Sai vs Shin alongside Kankuro against Sasori and Deidara, which can be nice as Shino and Kankuro have that history from part 1

And have the few moments like aiding team 7 towards the end and etc can stay

So the main thing is the Sai-Ino thing and canon Shino being the Academy teacher

In a world where Sai doesn't die, I can still see him with Ino as their main relationship development was through novels so Shino isn't forced to be with Ino meaning Inojin can stay the same as it would just be more like Choji with Karui where it was fully in the novels and not focused on

Now would Shino be Anbu’s head like canon Sai or teacher like canon Shino

Honestly, it can be either or

Shino as a teacher ties into his want for bonds and helping others and etc and the Anbu backstory can make that even more heartwarming that this trained assassin wants to just teach kids and in that case, a alive Sai or just a different character can be Anbu's head like imagine if while Konohmaru is head Jonin his friend Udon is anbu head or something

And vice versa if Shino is head anbu he can still lead a team in the anime and the Academy teacher can be someone like Tenten instead of her just owning an empty weapon shop

So my reasoning in why Sai should of been Shino

But I will say Kishimoto didn't use his characters it just feels in comparison to some other animes like My Hero or even One Piece from what I've seen he doesn't give them their moments to the highest quality

Like the pursuit arc, when they were being stalled by Tobi, if there was something a little more spectacular to look at there it wouldn't feel that Team 8 focus was bad in comparison to Team 10 and Team Gai. It really does feel like they're the fourth team even with Hinata’s relevance

𓆃 Even if he bests you in battle, he might offer you an opportunity if you’re impressive. But don’t be confused— it’s your skill and the potential of your art. Not you.

I think it's the only moment where I can imagine him genuinely vulnerable, ready to collapse into (Y/N's) arms and just… cry, grieve for all that he lost despite winning.

“No matter what, I shall protect my little brother so no harm touch him”

The words which he said so proudly as a child, ringed in Indra’s ears. Is this how it should have ended? His one and only brother…dead?

As he looked down he realized that indeed it was their fate no matter what. Ashura was laying on the ground, covered in blood and with a big hole on his chest. Indra killed him with the same lightning jutsu he used to protect him from the boar when they were children.

The older brother kept staring at the body, unable to move for what felt like hours. He could not believe he finally killed Ashura and got his revenge. Though this is what we wanted to do, he did not feel the joy as he thought he would. Instead, Indra felt immense guilt, felt like the worst person in the world. He not only killed his only brother, but also his family: his wife and three kids.

“Ashura….” a small whisper escaped his mouth before he collapsed on the ground, falling on the dead body of his little brother. His body felt heavy, and he could not move any longer. Indra’s eyes closed from tiredness as his consciousness slowly left his body.

He woke up only hours later, drenched in rain, sweat and blood. As he got on his knees, his eyes met with the lifeless body of his brother.

“…..Forgive me Ashura….”

Of course, his words and the guilt he was feeling meant nothing now.

Monster…I am a monster…just as everyone labeled me…

That dark inner voice kept screaming in his head, blaming him for all what had happened. If Indra was not strong willed, he would for sure kill himself right here, to try and get rid of the heavy burden that will chase him all his life.

But he could not do it. Not when his own wife and kids were waiting for him to return back home. Indra casted one final glance at Ashura, a single tear escaping his eye as he turned his back and vanished into the thin air.

Y/n…

He wanted to get home fast. To be in her hands, to cry and tell her he regrets killing his brother. That is the only thing in his mind now. Indra was too exhausted to use his teleportation ability so he had to use the not the fastest way.

Only after a day was he able to get back home. He was exhausted not only from the long way but also from the heavy burden he was carrying in his heart. He felt worse when he thought that he left his body there. But what else could he do? He felt unworthy to touch his body and give him a proper burial. While he was walking towards his house, his thoughts replaying the fight, Y/n came out of the house.

“Babe….!”

Indra heard his wife’s sweet voice and looked at her.

“……Y/n” he whispered.

His wife knew him well enough to understand what had happened. She rushed to him and hugged him hard, crying from joy that her husband returned back alive. Whatever happened at the battlefield was not even important anymore. She has his husband back safely and thats what matters for her.

Indra hugged her back slowly, hiding his face in her shoulder and letting his tears flow freely. They stood like that for some time, allowing their bodies to talk instead of their mouths.

“It is over…he….he is dead…” he finally mumbled.Y/n knew he had the guilt in his heart. After all, he killed his only brother.

“I know it was hard…I know you carry this immense guilt darling…but…don’t blame yourself. You did..what you considered right.” Y/n whispered as she hugged him tighter. She knew he needed this more than anything. Indra was never good at words. He preferred his actions to do the work and Y/n understood it fully.

Indra looked at her, his eyes teary and his sharingan glowing like two precious gems. He knew his wife wanted to help him, and she did many times, but tonight, he did not feel those words were as helpful as before. He wanted to try and forget the scene in front of him however he could not as much as he tried.

“Let’s go inside…I will warm up some water so you can take a bath…come” Y/n softly held his hand, walking to the house. Indra could only follow her silently, hoping to pass the night in her arms, letting his feelings out and hopefully sleeping after months of no sleep.

I adore them being the best of their fields but also disturbingly good at each others too. Like there’s only so many times Sakura and Sasuke can listen to Naruto talk about highly advanced seals without picking up some things. Only so many times Sasuke can talk about jutsu creation before they try it themselves. Only so many times Sakura can talk about pressure points and healing before they understand it too.

And then combining each others knowledge instead of neatly separating everything like the sannin before them did. No more is it Tsunades healing and strength, Jiraiya’s sealing and spying, or Orochimaru’s jutsus and swordsmanship. It’s Naruto and Sakura making a seal to heal someone, Sasuke and Sakura creating lightning jutsus that specifically target the nervous system, Naruto and Sasuke creating new moves that combine their wind and fire.

Also them having terribly screwed standards bc they’ve been around the best if the best since the beginning.

And it’s not just them combining talents. It’s in the middle of a battle when Naruto is too far gone into Jinchuriki mode to need a weapon Sakura could take the sword orochimaru had gifted him and use it just as well as Naruto can. It’s their summons listening to the other two just as readily as the one that signed the contract. It’s Naruto, even lost to Kurama’s power still recognizing Sakura and Sasuke and them being able to calm him down again.

It’s them being so connected that those closest to them joke that they’re one soul in three bodies. It’s teasing of Ino and whoever else would be romantically interested that they would be gaining three spouses instead of the one. It’s further down the line if they were to have kids all of them being raised as siblings more than cousins because Naruto Sasuke and Sakura cannot imagine another option.

It’s the three of them on unofficially sharing the hat with Naruto as their face.

It’s Konoha as it could have been without the constant curse of Team Seven shattering time and time again.

Please just everyone being so down with how skewed their perception of what should be reasonably possible for three people

Tobirama's statements on the Curse of Hatred are absolutely laughable, middle-school-faux-philosophy rhetoric that only the people with very tiny intellectual capacities would ever buy. Were the Senju any different? No. Both Hashirama and Black Zetsu have talked of the Senju Clan's tendency to look for strife, blood-shed, and power. If both Uchiha are Senju are the same, how are Uchiha more blood-thirsty when this statement's directly contradicted by Hashirama and Black Zetsu? Why would Zetsu lie when he was playing both the clans? However, I'd say that the Senju were worse as they never wanted to change. They simply organized, multiplied, and intensified conflicts. That's all.

At first, Tobirama also considered his own words on Curse of Hatred to be nothing but "rumours". So he basically started "dog whistling" over no concrete evidence as his analysis has nothing to do with "curse". It's a genetic ability of the Uchiha to awaken the Sharingan in response to "heightened emotions". The heightened emotions are simply translated into a physical manifestation of c

t's repulsive how any individual can consider the most common reactions to grief as "curse of hatred" when, frankly, genocides, wars, and slaughters are so out there compared to a mere loss of a loved one that … I don't believe any normal, sensible, and decent individual would even venture such a statement.

Also, nothing in his own hypothesis points to anything even remotely along the "clinical" nature of hate, power, or blood thirst that he himself calls the "curse of hatred". He's presented literally squat to back up his hypothesis; and he was cutting up the Uchiha years ago, but he considered it to be "rumours" when the village was founded and then later "hardcore facts"? Based on what? What changed? Nothing is given from his side to validate it. It's ridiculous that Tobirama fanboys seem incapable of reading what Tobirama himself has to say on this. These three things can't be right at the same time: either "only the Uchiha clan has the curse of hatred" or "both Senju or Uchiha showed the same disposition for the curse as they both had engaged in same code of conduct, therefore, they both are affected by the curse of hatred" or "every person who experiences heightened emotions is affected by the curse of hatred". If one is right, two and three can't be right. If second is right, one and two aren't right. If the third is right, the first two are wrong. Tobirama's hypothesis being some kind of "hard fact" falls apart as soon as it's analysed in the light of the evidence given by other characters.

Furthermore, if the Uchiha were the only ones affected by the "curse of hatred" that's triggered by "heightened emotions", then why didn't they exhibit it when they were ghettoized? What about Tobirama himself? What would anyone call his tendency to not move on from past conflicts? A "unique curse that's not curse of hatred as that's reserved only for the Uchiha"? Again, if "heightened emotions" are the "curse of hatred", then the entire shinobi world suffers from it (as stated by Nagato and Jiraiya)? Nagato even acted on it, so he, too, has a "curse of hatred"? Gotcha, St. Patrick Tobirama! Perhaps Tobirama's fans are incapable of the most basic hypothesis as whatever he's said is not only infantile but also rooted in bigotry.

I forgot to add another minor argument: if Tobirama is right about the "Curse of Hatred" as he's a scientist, then why's Orochimaru wrong when his experience with the Sharingan and knowledge on Tobirama's own Jutsus far exceed anything Tobirama has ever done? We know for a fact that Izanagi's time was extended via Orochimaru's experimentation, and he's the one who created the whole arm for Danzo. We also know that he's the one who created the Shin clones, as well.

Then we have Sasuke's own disgust at Orochimaru's experimentation on the human bodies to learn the secrets of immortality (that's how he invented his Immortality Jutsu, you know). We also know that he's the only one to reverse the Reaper Seal.

This shows that Orochimaru's anthropological research on clans far exceeds Tobirama's, as well; otherwise, Tobirama would've left his research scrolls on the Uzumaki Fuinjutsu behind, but he didn't. Heck, Orochimaru was skilled enough to completely manipulate and close off Naruto's Kurama-seal with relative ease, too. He was using Tobirama's Edo Tensai so casually that Tobirama was taken aback by it. In fact, he perfected Tobirama's own Jutsu to the point that Tobirama himself couldn't overcome it.

So let me get this straight, Orochimaru who's got intimate knowledge of the Sharingan, genetics, and bodies to the point that he's even able to create artificial versions of Uchihas doesn't have anything to state on the Curse of Hatred, but Tobirama who only began to name the curse after the village was formed and has very little experience in Sharingan experimentation is right? Why? How and why do Tobirama's opinions outweigh Orochimaru's, a man who's managed to even create Sharingans? He's also calling Tobirama out on his policies. On a purely pragmatic level, Orochimaru doesn't care about the village or the Uchiha (beyond obtaining their bodies), so his opinion is the most objective out of everyone. Then why isn't more value placed on his opinion compared to Tobirama's despite the scientific knowledge of the Sharingan under his belt? Is there any scientist in the manga who backed up Tobirama's hypothesis? If the only other (and a far more capable) scientist, Orochimaru, is not only speaking out against Tobirama's hypothesis but also calling him out on it, shouldn't that raise a red flag as the only person to back Tobirama's theories is Tobirama himself? That itself should work against him, but Naruto fandom simply adores any scrap of material they can get their dirty little hands on, with which they can malign Sasuke. It's pretty cartoonish, if you ask me.

He also states that it's for the best if a group of people is butchered for the sake of the village. No one finds anything wrong with this brand of hard-right fascism? I don't understand. The Uchiha are evil for being dissidents, but Tobirama is righteous for inventing a policy in which even genocide is A-Okay for the preservation of status quo? Isn't this what every forward-thinking individual keeps whining against? Man, you guys are complete cartoons, aren't you?

I'd say this (a post I copied from somewhere, but I can't find the source) as it sums up my arguments fairly well: "People often argue characters like Itachi or Tobirama made difficult choices, but it's not true. They're small-minded, lazy in thinking, and they took the easy way out. Massacring people isn't difficult. What would've been difficult is navigating a myriad of social and moral issues like managing volatile historical inter-clan grudges, integration, pluralism, sharing of power, phasing out slavery and other inhumane practices, figuring out an economic model that doesn't rely on making kids killers and weapons, and at the same time trying not to antagonize all the traditionalists and interest parties. These things are really difficult, much more difficult than killing people. It'd actually require political talent and leadership."

Did Tobirama have these leadership qualities? If you say, "yes!", then you're being a deliberately obtuse, because we're all well-aware that that's not how you lead people in any socio-political and economic set-up, because that way lies disaster.

Then the Uchiha are often accused of war. The first world war began because of the combined issues that arose from the distribution of tailed-beasts to other nations, which Tobirama distributed on power-balances between the villages (his exact words), and the shinobi-system that Tobirama created was copied by all (again, exact words by Hashirama). Tobirama was attacked by Cloud, not Rock, Shinobi who ambushed and killed him. He also appointed Hiruzen, knowingly that Danzō had "forever been vying with Saru over one thing or another"? But Danzō didn't have the hater-gator Uchiha-curse, so Tobirama was cool with it.

Why would any sensible leader select such people as the village's torch-bearers when he knows that it'd cause political strife in the future? And it didn't? (Danzō paying Orochimaru to murder Sarutobi, anyone?) Who didn't see this coming? So to pin the whole thing on Madara's attack on Onoki and throw away everything else is simply bizarre to me. We don't know when this happened. We don't know why it happened. Madara also asked Onoki to bow before Konoha, and this is backed by the facts that Konoha 1) started an imperialistic and corrupt governmental system that everyone copied (Tobirama created the system), 2) they distributed all Bijū on the basis of power-balances between the villages (Tobirama outright states that despite the Kazekage's reservations about the whole thing; heck, the rest are already ready for war to crush wind—Madara was the cause!, my arse), and 3) the second world war was literally started by Konoha. In fact, Kumo tried to steal Kurama long before Madara ever tamed it, and that escalated things, as well.

What about the third shinobi war that was again started by Leaf as it'd lost its power? What about the fourth war that started 'cause of Konoha's state-sponsored terrorism that killed Yahiko? What does all this have anything to do with Uchiha? From the looks of it, every single world-war was either directly started by Konoha at the loss of power or indirectly through fascist practices. Madara or Uchiha had nothing to do with any of them.

Then we have the "Uchiha become vengeful, hateful terrorists" and "Tobirama was being cautious as the clan became vengeful terrorists . . . Lol, it's not racism" bits.

I like how the term "vengeful" is often used for people who fight back against the oppressors. It's kind of … curiously interesting. You know, leave it to the anus-sniffing gremlins to over-use the "terrorist" term as it's so en vogue among the terrorist white states' leaders and citizens these days.

I'll be blunt here: if you're willing to kill off a group down to the last child, you'd better expect the same treatment in return. Heck, it's justice, a term that means to "make things exact" in its original etymological usage. So the "Collective Punishment" Sasuke and Nagato had in store for Konoha was not only fair but also just.

Tsunade, who fought this war and murdered Nagato's people, doubled-down on her bullshit like a typical fascist cunt, but she's . . . cool, I guess? It's strange how the fandom absolutely adores nasty fascists but hate any character that stands against it. I wonder why? Nagato's death (brought about by a fascist's lemon-y "don't like, don't read!" Fan-Fiction; doesn't that just melt your heart? The tenderness of it all!) was the death of Ame's short-lived freedom.

She was on the front-line in the second war that Konoha started. She lied through her fucking teeth when she said that Nagato was lying and that the nations suffered tragedies. Man, fuck off, you smacked bag of twats! I suppose, she gets this laudable quality from her Uncle, Tobirama! How adorable. She's one of the "good" fascists, you know? A "war-criminal" feminist icon! She only sent in Jiraiya to further de-stabilize Rain when it was finally enjoying peace under Pain's rule after years of strife, despite Shadow Villages still trying to cause conflict there and make money; however, Tsunade was crying "women tears" (over Dan's precious one-of-a-kind penis), so it's all very sad and not terrorism at all! It's only the "hater-gator Uchiha-curse" suffering Uchiha that are terrorists.

Nagato's dialogue about his friends, family, and village isn't so different from Sasuke's (when he gave his impassioned speech before Kakashi and Sakura), now, is it? Heck, Sasuke's retribution is exactly like Nagato's, as well, who killed Hanzo, his family, and all associated with him, down to the last child. I wonder, why are people only pressed about Sasuke? It's almost as if it's self-inserting rearing its ugly head, something that I previously explained. (Uchiha hate is always about self-inserting and Sasuke-hate—always!)

They're exactly the same, aren't they? Victims lashing out at extensions (shinobi) of Terrorist States that have exploited, butchered, and pillaged them relentlessly to build their own economies and capitalistic war-machines. Obito told Kakashi and Naruto the whole thing; but their responses are gold! They range from endorsing genocide to outright whiny denial that why would Sasuke choose revenge and not serve the state that butchered his clan? All of the Kages' confessions at the Kage Summit can be translated into the following: cross-border terrorism, murder of civilians to get funds from Daimyos (which is what started the Third Ninja War as Konoha and other villages were dry on funds), proxy wars, etc. None of this is terrorism? None of these are terrorists? No, you need to be suffering from the "hater-gator Uchiha-curse" to be a terrorist. Nice morality some of you have. It's as if all of you are . . . fucking ducks! Organized mass-scale state-sponsored terrorism? A-Ok. Victims lashing back at the system? Vengeful terrorists. Neat-o! Furthermore, to bring the argument back to the Uchiha, the Clan had entered into a "treaty-based contract" with the village, a contract based on equality principles. If you don't uphold the contract, you don't get to decide what the treaty-makers choose afterwards. This is a dangerous "submit or die" mentality that the Fandom preaches to espouse.
