things all the robins were ready for when they began crime fighting: guns, getting shot at, being held at gunpoint
what none of the robins were ready for: 220+ lbs of one Bruce Thomas Wayne jumping on top of them and shielding them whenever bullets start flying

Gl!Charlie deserved so much better…. He was forced to eat a bowl of guts, then he was ripped open by his friend… Then when he was finally in a momentary state of peace, he was dragged away from that and ripped apart by a monster. He died not knowing who he was, or where he came from. He suffered so much for nothing.

Kinda random but what is the kevlar carapace au about?
DUDE. I'VE GOTTEN SO MANY ASKS ABOUT IT I'VE BEEN MEANING TO ANSWER. BUT I KINDA WANT TO DRAW SOMETHING FOR THEM SO I KEEP PUTTING IT OFF ✌️✌️
uhh cliffnotes version? post-canon au where donnie gets himself into some shit with the EPF and instead of handling it like a well-adjusted person and getting backup he decides the logical course of action is to go get stronger in the battle nexus and exchange information with big mama.
it's been a while and i never wrote down the details of it so it's a bit blurry... but i also thought it'd be interesting to explore how donnie's tech and fighting style could potentially develop along the line.
here i'll dump some silly 4-month old doodles of it

Ur art is very pretty so very nice, I can't help but be curious, what would your like "dream" Batman suit be like if dc approached you for the next Batman suit for a movie/comic run what are your thoughts?? You a gray and yellow person? An all black suit lover?? The contrarian blue-ish suit enjoyer? Tall ears? Short ears? Normal cape or giant cape?? As an artist what's your perfect batsuit?
you’re asking someone who’s determined to keep batman at the bottom of their drawing list out of ignorance; i know the least abt him on a technical-level out of my main 4 dc focuses. i can barely even work up the courage to draw regular ol bruce 😔
however, i’ve always had 2 things to say abt his suit: it’s gotta have trunks, and it’s gotta have giant ears

Which Hogwarts house are you?
You're a Burned Slytherin Primary and a Ravenclaw Secondary.
A burned Slytherin can understand the value of having people to care for, or even desire those types of connections, but has learned that the costs of such close loyalties is too high to pay. Loving people means they can hurt, betray, or leave you. Loving people means you bleed yourself dry for them, and burned Slytherins have taken a step back in order to preserve and safekeep their own selves.
Ravenclaw Secondaries collect-- hobbies, skillsets, knowledge.
Ravenclaws are collectors. Dedicated to knowledge, to facts, systems, tools, or skills, the things they have already learned are what they call on when things get tough. They can collect useful skills, build complex clever systems, invent vitally useful things, or just learn everything there is to know about the birds of South America.
Ravenclaws’ efficacy often relies on what situation they are in: what the problem is they have to solve and whether or not they’ve prepared the proper tools for that problem. While Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors can apply their skills at stockpiling trust or inspiring passion to attack various situations, Ravenclaws’ tools are necessarily task specific. Do they know how to ride horses? Speak Greek? Do they have contingency plans for earthquakes, zombie apocalypses, or a surprise visit from the in-laws?
If they’ve already built themselves a tool set for a situation, they’re likely to excel at it. If they have not, they’re likely to blink a few times while they try to either invent something new for themselves or to cobble up something approximate from their existing resources.
Ravenclaw Secondaries are at their best when they can prepare before the problems show up, not improvise or invent in the moment. Ravenclaws invest in tools. These tools can vary from detailed knowledge of modern Romance languages, Mesopotamian history, Gothic architecture, and US civil court legal procedures; or mastering the skills of carjacking, gourmet vegan cooking, juggling, and staying level-headed in crisis; or keeping internal (or external) databases on their friends’, allies’, and enemies’ likes, dislikes, connections, obligations, fears, weaknesses, strengths, and goals. Some of these are more useful than others. Ravenclaws can collect their tools with the aim of eventual usefulness, but are likely to also collect knowledge just for the sake of knowledge.
You also may have a Gryffindor Primary Model.
Gryffindor House is the house of justice and bravery. If you model Gryffindor Primary, you also value these things and like to live by them-- but you wouldn't feel guilty for dropping those goals in the service of your own priorities ( whether that's sticking by your chosen family or stopping your emotional biases from sending you down the wrong path ). But you'd like to value these things. They're good, solid, and satisfying. If the phrase "some things are just wrong" appeals to you, you might be a Gryffindor or have Gryffindor model.

Radioactive Hero (but not really) au
Danny moves to Gotham, hear him out! There's really good jobs there that pay through the nose and the cost of living is cheap!
Plus, the city is riddled with heroes and vilains! It's so easy to slip under the radar!
Unfortunately, there are so many civilian casualties. Like, all the time. Even in Metropolis!
So Danny, for his first year in Gotham, opens small portals to the Far Frozen and gets schooled on being a field medic. None of his powers can really be used for healing, but they can make people feel better. He just has to be careful to be as far removed from the Phantom moniker as possible, so he can't use any obvious powers.
He gets a bit of a reputation in Gotham; a small time hero of the people, for the people. A hero not invested in fighting, but in dragging civilians away from the danger. He doesn't even have a moniker; people are too busy arguing over the best one for him.
So while aliens are attacking both Metropolis and Gotham, Danny is out in full kit; a gas mask to hide his face, all black, repurposed kevlar from the vests the GCPD did not properly dispose of, no identifying markers.
But one of the clean up crews notices something insanely worrying; the geiger counter they have to point at alien spaceship parts? Yeah. Yeah, it's going off when they point it at the new small-time hero.
That hero's power is radioactivity. Holy shit. It's not at a level that will hurt people, but when he's dodging through fighting the level goes up.
The clean up crew concludes and shares via Twitter that the medic-hero is only a danger to others if he gets too stressed.
Word spreads fast, and pretty soon the absolute second Danny shows up on a scene, all fighting stops.
After all, no one wants to piss off the living Nuclear Bomb.
Basically, Danny's ghost-everything sets off Geiger counters, and now absolutely everyone is convinced that the medic-themed hero only refuses to fight because his meta power is just...being radioactive.
But he isn't.
So now, because it's the perfect cover and completely disassociated from Phantom, he has to play along and pretend like yes; that is his power.
