Hey guys! This is my first fanvideo for the klaine babies! I still haven't learnt how to use clips so apologies for that. This song is called "Aga Naga" from Ponniyin Selvan part 2. Composed by slumdog millionaire Oscar winner A.R. Rahman.

The song is in Tamil, my mother tongue. Translation is given with the lyrics in each pic. You just have to follow kinly. I did use 2 fan art's but I have credited them at the top of the pic.

I currently ship Klaine pretty hardcore, but I also went through a phase of hating them together and thinking Kurt deserved so much better than Blaine so I totally understand and respect your opinion on saying it’s a toxic relationship.

I’ve read a lot of analyses on their relationship and that’s definitely made me feel a lot better about where they ended up at the end of the show and has made me accept canon, but I’m still sometimes on the fence about if I think they should have really wound up together in the end or not (sorry to any the Klaine blogs reading this!). I’m definitely more on than off the Klaine train, but I think a large part of that might be because I like to indulge in Klaine fics where they either don’t have the same problems they did canonically, or I get to actually see them dealing with their problems and then I can feel better about them being together, as opposed to a couple lines in season 6 about how they both got therapy so everything is fine now and you just have to infer the rest without being able to actually see it lol.

But either way, Kurt is my favourite and as long as he’s happy, I’m happy.

(I also ship Kurtbastian pretty hard, that would have been so fun to see in the show, but we’ll never know what could have been; thank god for fanfiction)

It means a lot that you say that you thank me for my detailed answer, here I was worrying it might be too detailed and maybe overstepped it a little bit. You’re very welcome btw:)

I’m really interested in those analyses, to be honest. I mean I can see a lot of an anti-Klaine pov, but I would love to read more to broaden my perspective. Yes! I think you make a very valid point there, I mean lately I think of one of the Klaine fanfiction I used to read (’Swing sets and Sandboxes’, have you read that one? It’s adorable and I might want to reread it) and I remember I loved that one so much. 

It just really fucking sucks how they [RIB] handled Klaine. They could portray them having a good, healthy relationship. Of course, every couple has its struggles, ups and down and that’s perfectly fine. That’s also healthy. It’s just what they did to them, was just downright wrong. It’s exactly what you’re saying “hey they’re having therapy and now it’s fine, without being able to actually see it”. I personally don’t like this at all. It doesn’t work that way and again it’s series... but.

I totally agree on free/happy!Kurt! Free!/happy!Kurt is my favourite ship of all time and is standing promptly above my every Kurt ship ever. I mean there were so many opportunities (small or big). Free/Happy!Kurt is my capslock OTP and I’m quoting you: “if he’s happy, I’m happy”, because I couldn’t agree more.

(Oh tell me about it! From the glances, the handshake, the verbal fights, the- you name it. It definitely would have been so much fun. Although I’m also super frightened about what RIB could’ve done with them, if they were happening and that is sending shivers down my spine, tbh. So yay for fanfiction indeed! And fanart, manips, fanvideos... It’s so great to read you’re a Kurtbastian shipper as well. Kinda curious to your list now, lmao).

Schedule Glee Potluck Big Bang

October-January: Prompt collecting. All kinds: fanvideos, drawings, manips, plot bunnies, trope prompt lists, etc. There will be a Trope of the Day post every day, and we want to encourage all Gleeks to participate, and to dig up old stuff that was great and might lead to wonderful new fics if writers newer to the fandom were to see them. 

December: Glee Drabble December if there is no Klaine Advent challenge. We’ll post one prompt per day for you to write a drabble/ficlet or make fanart if that’s your preference (I’m thinking of @lallagoglee’s amazing stuff).

Halfway January: Sign-ups for writers/betas/artists. Two tiers: a fic exchange challenge for shorter fics (2 to 5K, your giftee sums up their favourite tropes and you need to pick one or more), and a true Big Bang with a writer-artist pairing for longer fics (15K and more).

1 February: Sign-ups close. From here on out, the fic exchangers get two months to produce their fic, and the Big Bangers get four months.

1 March: First check-in. Big Bangers need to provide a fic summary at this point. Artist Claim post.

1 April: Second check-in for the Big Bangers, and the posting begins for the fic exchangers.

1 May: Big Bangers need to submit their rough drafts.

1 June: Big Bangers need to submit their final drafts. Posting begins.

- I made new friends. On the internet, yes, but no less real for that :-)

- I got to meet a few Gleek friends of mine in real life! That was AMAZING!

- I discovered tons of great new stories, and new fanfic writers.

- I got to read the sequel to Westerville Abbey in avant-première (I’m one of the betas), and it’s SO good, you’re going to love it!

- I managed to write a 78K story in half a year, Puppy Eyes, and it was pretty well received, in spite of the completely wacky premise, so thank you, everyone, for indulging my craziness, and for your encouraging and valuable feedback.

- I’m sure there are plenty of other things I should mention here, but I’m just going to say that I’m so SO thankful to everyone who makes my fandom experience rich and rewarding, by writing or reccing fanfiction, by devising writing challenges or memes, by headcanoning and metaing, by making fanart or fanvideos or gifs, by coming up with tempting new fic prompts. You all ROCK, and I’m so thrilled that I get to share my Glee and Klaine enthusiasm with you!
