Summery: Kory wakes up on her anniversary with her King-Consort Dick and Queen-Consort Babs.

A/N: This is my prompt for Anniversary for @dcmarriageweek . Also sorry for the abrupt cut of the porn but I got sick and couldn’t figure out what to write. Maybe when I’m better I’ll post a bonus of what happened?

 Kory looked down in her bed seeing her loves still sleeping and smiled to herself. It was the anniversary of their wedding when she took the throne of Tamaran and took Richard and Barbara as her Royal Consorts. There had been two weddings, the lavish yet simple affair on Earth where both she and Barbara had been lead down the aisle by Commissioner Gordon to Richard waiting with his brothers, and the one on Tamaran before her people where she was crowned as Queen.

 She knew her people may not accept Richard as her King because he was human so both he and Barbara were known as The Queen Consort and King Consort. Hopefully any child between her and Richard would assume the throne after her leaving a child by Barbara safe from royal politics. The only downside? Her child would be unable to visit its grandparents and aunts and uncles on earth for a few months after its birth due to the mixed genealogy.

 If not? Well…it’s a very good thing photography and Skype exist. She smiled as Dick shifted to hug the closer of the two women to him which happened to be her. She ran her hand in his hair as Babs started to rouse and pull herself up to kiss her wife. “Morning. Sleep well Kory?” Babs asked moving closer to hug Kory as well. “I slept wonderfully. Though it seems someone’s still asleep.” She said looking down at Richard who was still sleeping and cuddling her waist.

 Babs chuckled and poked his cheek, “C’mon dick. Up and att’em. It’s too special of a day to stay in bed.” Dick groaned and cuddled closer to Kory. She pet his hair smiling down at him. “Seems he doesn’t want to wake Barbara. What shall we do?” Barbara grinned looking at her wife. “Oh I don’t know leave him in bed and go to breakfast without him?”

 Kory smiled at the thought. “A lovely idea but I think we should try to wake him” she said tracing a hand down his chest and brushing her fingers against one of his nipples. “Mm…Kory? What’re you planning?” Dick said as he twisted up and away before leaning over to kiss her and Babs.

 Smiling Kory wrapped her arms around him as Babs pressed herself against Kory’s back. “You didn’t forget what today was…did you?” She asked him a pout on her lips. Dick shook his head smirking lightly as he replied a hand slipping between them to rub at her stomach, “No I didn’t. Today’s our anniversary and if I recall Babs? We said we we’re going to shower you in affection right?”

 Babs moved Kory’s hair aside to kiss the column of her neck before she spoke “We did. We said we would keep you’ She trailed off a hand slipping between Kory and Dick’s bodies dipping low between them and the sheets, ‘Occupied.” She finished as her hand found its target and began to caress Kory’s outer folds while the back of her hand rubbed against dick’s cock as she returned to kissing Kory’s neck making her moan.

so I’m seeing people say that the new starfire comic is “dumbing the caracter down” and overly sexualizing her and I’m just kind of like, um, no? 

like have you seen some other characterizations of Kori?

like, yes, she doesn’t completely understand all of the turns of phrase of the english language, but she’s not a native speaker, that’s very common.

and she doesn’t entirely understand money, but this is someone who went from being a member of a royal family (where she probably never had to think about or deal with money) to being a slave (where she had no access to money) to being a super hero which is kind of nebulous about payment, it’s entirely understandable that that as a concept would be kind of new to her, especially since she’s pretty new to earth in this continuity. This isn’t the Starfire who is also a fashion model and has her own money. 

and claiming that’s she’s overly sexualized is just... like, did people forget about this?

she has ONE PANEL shower where all naughty bits are covered, and is characterizing that she doesn’t really “get” the american hangup with nudity, which has ALWAYS BEEN PART OF HER CHARACTER

and the comic really isn’t exploitatve about that fact. there are no snake bodies, her costume isn’t drawn with boob socks, they don’t center shots around her ass or anything. I get as mad about needless objectification as anyone but I really didn’t see it here.

in terms of characterization, I didn’t have a lot of problems either. in all honestly. The vibe I got was much closer to the Wolfman-Perez Starfire- sweet, optomisitc, deeply emotional and empathetic, somewhat naive about earth’s ways, but not stupid. It’s only a number one, so some growth will probably happen, but I’ve always found Kori’s optimism and naivety really relatable. I don’t think her characterization is out of character or dumbing her down. I think the book is really charming and in a good spot to become really great. I have high hopes for it
