Take a walk in the woods with me?🍂
~~
Copy-pasta-ing my last post-script bc I'm lazy:
Not to be a wannabe influencer, but I really wanted to let y'all know that Shovava, the creators of these gorgeous wing shawls, is having an insane 50% off sale rn. I adore these shawls so dang much, they're my signature clothing item, but they're usually pretty pricey! If you want a great deal on them, and support an indie artist, now's your chance!
This one's the Samsara shawl in cotton🍂
Use my referral code YUKIPRI86469 on the Shovava site for 20% off orders over $85! YES it's combinable with their sale!!!

man I'm just gonna say that it's incredibly fucking weird to walk onto a stranger's blog, project your own predatory age headcanons onto a character with no canon age, and then decide that means the blogger condones it.
like?? my dude?? the only person talking about that is you because it's your headcanon?
"you're bad because I think of this ageless character as a 30yo being paired with a teen" well I sure goddamn don't and I didn't need to hear that shit! it's not only extremely inappropriate, it's creepy as fuck! so like, maybe do some self-reflecting on why you decided that a stranger should abide by your headcanon, and maybe also stop doing that.

So on continuation of "researching about a time period for a story no one but me will ever see" I got this book from the library that's about daily life in the Victorian era and it's really cool? Like... Interesting. I doubt I'll use half of this info (I doubt that the story needs a 5 page description of my character getting ready in the morning tbh) but still. And I usually don't read non fiction all that much.

one thing that both everymanhybrid & mlandersen0 excel at is showing us the personality of the characters outside of them being terrified & tortured. we see them having fun & being goofy with their friends & that’s exactly why it’s so awful to see their lives get torn apart. we’ve seen that they’re just regular people who exist outside of this impossibly horrifying situation that they’ve been thrown into. as the audience, even as we’re enjoying the horror, we hope that they can be that person again, despite all the forces against them.

For @designtheendless' draw it in your style giveaway! I've found that I enjoy the challenge of drawing a lot of characters together, so even in this, I also decided to be ambitious. I hope you like it! I adore seeing your art on my dash!
The Giveaway. The original piece.

My beloved best friend of several years, who bought me Minecraft the winter before COVID after I mentioned I hadn’t played since before there were horses, got severely motion sick when playing minecraft for too long.
We were both aware of this, and took breaks or shortened our play sessions accordingly.
However, a few days ago, at the end of one of those sessions when my friend wasn’t feeling well, we traveled through a Nether portal.
“Have you turned off your motion effects? And the camera bobbing?”
My beloved friend, who has been playing this game more consistently for many more years than me, did not know what those were. We navigate to my friend’s accessibility settings and toggle off portal motion effects and camera bobbing.
Lo and behold minecraft is playable for my friend again. Check accessibility settings for every game you play and see what options you have. Do not suffer if you can help it 👍
