logan spotted you through his tinted sunglasses. you were walking on the side of the road, arm stretched out, thumb pointing upwards hoping to flag down a car. you looked young, innocent, naive. although with some hesitation, his protective instincts couldn't help but kick in.

"shit" he sighed. he didn't want to, and he hoped he wasn't making a mistake. but logan knew that if he didn't pick you up, some sick pervert would. he knows what humans can be like. he didn't want a pretty thing like you getting hurt or taken advantage of.

logan grabbed his jacket off the passenger seat, throwing it in the back. gently honking the horn, he slowed down next to you. you excitedly stopped and waved at the man in the car.

great, logan thought, a peppy one.

you pointed at the window and signalled for him to roll it down. "hey mister" you smile, propping your forearms on the car door, leaning inside.

"which way you goin' doll?" logan huffs. you were surprised that considering he pulled over for you, he seemed reluctant to help.

"east" you tilted your head "but i'll go wherever you want"

logan raised an eyebrow, his face a mix of confusion and disapproval, but with a hint of a amusement. he leant over and opened the door for you.
