When Lavi falls in love, he falls hard

The first time he actually realizes he's in love with you is because he gave Bookman a list of symptoms he experienced and asked if there's any rare diseases where these would make sense (he hadn’t made the connection yet that you were the common denominator because sometimes he had the “symptoms” when he was with your entire friend group and not just you.)

Lavi's also a little bit of a coward, romantically - because he's a dork and inexperienced in flirting

So it takes him a while to really start flirting with you, and when he does, it’s chaotic as heck

The first long list of pick-up lines he throws at you are hand-picked from hours of research (most of them fall flat or just straight up confuses you) and he even throws three or four in within the same 30 minutes out of sheer panic that they don’t seem to be working!

He loves playing with hair -  any length!! You’ve fallen asleep on the couch with him and when you wake up, his hand is still massaging your scalp gently. You turn around slightly, expecting to be met with his emarald eye and one of his warm smiles but instead, he’s sleeping peacefully, his hand still running along your scalp gently.

Whenever you have an outing together, Lavi LOVES when you pick his outfit. Not because hes a fashion disaster, he’s got a basic and decent taste (but his color match-ups are sometimes atrocious)

He just feels a sense of pride when he’s walking around town with you in an outfit you picked, that you think suits him (also boosts his ego and makes him feel a little bit handsome<3)

OBVIOUSLY doesn’t mind making them himself if you’re busy or don’t want to, but it’s an act that makes him feel a bit special

Proudly tells everyone you meet that you’re dating. He went with you to a work dinner once and told them that you’re together - they all nodded and one of your co-workers answered with a confused, “we know..?”

Lavi knows every single one of your comfort foods and drinks for every kind of occasion - you’re feeling sad and down? Let him run to the store real quick and he’s back with everything that might cheer you up - including your favorite comfort movie at the ready. You’re pissed off and frustrated about something? He’s already made you that hot beverage you like as he gently massages your shoulders and let’s you get it out of your system!

His favorite past time is reading aloud for you. He’s never really read aloud for anyone like this, so it feels extremely intimate to him and he fought through a blush the entire first time he did it, poor boy was stuttering through the first chapter until he got more comfortable (because you grabbed his free hand and squeezed.)

Lavi can't sing clean to save his life, but when you're cuddled up close in bed and he gruffly almost whisper-murmurs out lullabies that Allen taught him, it feels like home and you fall asleep with a smile on your face

Your work as a finder was mainly related to securing the Innocent and gathering information so that the exorcists could successfully carry out their mission. You were lucky enough to accompany Bookman and his apprentice several times, which is why you became friends with Lavi, if you even could call it a friendship. The exorcist was very nice but also a bit childish, but if you looked closely at his face, you could see that his smile never reached his eye. As if the emotions he showed were not real, but only a play while his face was the stage. When you first noticed it, you couldn't take your eyes off him. Everyone was aware that Bookman and his apprentice were only here to document the history of the time, which is why feelings are out of place for them. But you could see it clearly. Lavi longed to show those feelings openly and tell every single story that bothered him.

Ever since you had this discovery, you couldn't help but watch him when you had the chance. It usually started in the canteen. You looked up from your food when you heard a familiar voice. Your gaze usually focused on his face, which is why you usually forget to continue eating. Your eyes followed every movement that took place in his face. Startled, your eyes widened when his gaze turned to you. Caught off guard, you turned your face back to your food as you feel the warmth in your ears. Embarrassed, you put your hand on one ear so no one would see how red it got. You feel his gaze rest on you for a moment before he probably turns back to the others.

The next situation happens during the next mission. The exorcists were sitting in their compartment while you stood next to the door as the finder. Somewhat bored, you rocked back and forth on your heels, in your mind sorting Lavi's various facial expressions into specific feelings. You frowned as your lips pursed slightly. The young man was a great mystery to you, but unfortunately he isn't an open book you could read with a glance. You sighed, but you knew it was a good sign for his future as a bookman that you couldn't see through him. But you knew very well that he was carrying a lot of untold stories that he had to handle on his own.

Your job as a finder now seemed much easier than before, but you still knew that you could be replaced faster than he could. After all, finders aren't there to stand up against Akuma. You shake your head as it slowly began to hurt from the whole thinking you did. Life in the present time was far too complicated for you to be able to find answers. While he is carrying the burden of having to keep everything to himself, you had to be ready to look death in the eye at any moment. A tragic turn of your observation.

He’s a little stunned at first, confused to if he actually just heard that. But he wastes no time pulling you safely in the opposite direction of the cat caller, essentially putting himself between the two of you.

Allen is a true gentleman, he’s yelling at the cat caller, saying you don’t treat people like that, and ready to throw hands. He’s learned a lot from Cross and disrespecting women isn’t one of them. He’s truly upset by the situation.

You’ll most likely have to pull him away and tell him you just want to leave. One look at you though is enough to pull Allen to his senses. His whole face softens at the sight of you. He’ll grab your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze, and pull you along to your favorite spot.

Kanda

He’s annoyed that this is happening but thinks the best solution is to ignore the cat caller. Kanda does notice the effect their words have on you. He’ll place his arm around your shaking figure and whisper to you to not to let them get to you. However, if you give him a look, Kanda won’t hesitate to pull his sword on them.

Once you’re far enough away from the situation, Kanda will ask you if you’re alright. Upon seeing that you are clearly not, he’ll take you home.

At home, Kanda will make you some tea to help you relax. He’ll grumble about how he should have shredded them while he sits down with you pulled into his arms.

Lavi

Lavi notices them before you do, the predatory like stare and the sly smirk. He’s seen how this plays out and he hates it a little more each time.

As the cat caller approaches, words ready on their tongue, Lavi pulls you into his chest. You’re a bit confused. He’s got one hand on your waist and the other over your ear while the other ear is pressed into his jacket. It’s all muffled so you can’t really hear what’s being said. However, you can feel the booming in Lavi’s chest and you know he’s not happy.

It’s hard to tell but you catch it out of the corner of your eye, someone walking away and Lavi relaxes. You ask him what’s going on but he just smiles and says it’s nothing.

Allen:

He’s freaking out really badly on the inside

Considering all the things that has happened to him in his life, he knows first hand just how lost someone can be

But he’s not very good at comforting compared to people like Lavi and Lenalee

He’d be the type to listen to everything and empathize with you (nodding, agreeing, and even crying)

He’d stick you for a while the moment he hears about any dilemma you’re facing (and if you’re alright with it, he’d stay with you and keep you company)

Definitely try to help you overcome any negative feelings first and foremost, mainly through talking and stress relieving activities (he knows exercise and sparring work pretty well)

His gentlemanly actions becomes 100x more gentler and kinder (mostly because he knows how fragile people can be in their times of need)

He’s 100% ready to do anything for you ex. You want food? He’s running through the halls to the dining room. You want to take a nap? Allen’s bed is ready. You want to just sit with Allen for a while? Done deal, he’s locked the door and put a “Do Not Disturb” sign up.

“You aren’t ever alone, always remember that, and if you ever feel like you do, know that I’m always going to be there next to you.”

Lavi:

He would want to hear what’s wrong and how you’re personally feeling

If you don’t want to talk, he’d prefer being the “I’ll sit with you in silence and just be here for you” type of person

If you want to talk, he’s sitting with you through your entire explanation rubbing circles around your back or just simply holding you in his arms

Your comfort is his top priority and he makes sure your needs are perfectly taken care of while he listens

He personally doesn’t really know how to deal with internal pain and suffering, however, so he doesn’t really know which is better: helping you overcoming over them or simply helping you cope with them better

He ends up doing a bit of both: listening and giving advice but also assuring you that everything you think you might be might actually be wrong (e.x. If you don’t think you’re good enough, he’ll assure you that you’re definitely not “good” because you’re always “prefect”)

After talking or no talking, he’d coax you into relaxing with a nap

He knows how draining internal battles can be, and especially having dealt with them for a while means you must be absolutely drained

“The future might look bleak now, but if you’ll let me, I’ll do everything in my power to change that for you.”

Alma:

He would find the idea of chatting very comforting

Whether it would be about your feelings or even about your previous adventures, he’d want to talk about anything

He’s basically like those kind of people who could sit there for hours and either listen or ramble for long periods of time

His favourite thing to talk about would be funny stories and anything about the interests he shares with you

He would talk and talk on and on about everything that makes you smile to help you momentarily forget about the pain and sadness you feel

He would never try and completely erase the sadness you feel (he knows that sadness is a part of living, but he wants to become the person who can help alleviate that pain)

Usually be relaxing in his room or yours (anywhere quiet and private where it would be perfectly fine to randomly start laughing really loudly)

Would always try to make you feel comfortable (bring tissues, cover you with a blanket, hold your hand, etc.)

Surprisingly, he’ll admit that he reciprocates how you feel, he’s just so nervous of rejection and he worries that his job is too demanding for him to have a happy, healthy relationship

After his own confession, he’ll pull you into a loving kiss, signaling the start of your relationship

I think Allen is aware of what spin the bottle is

In fact, I think it was his idea in the first place, especially after a little convincing on Lavi’s part

When it’s your turn, he is literally bouncing in anticipation

He so wants the bottle to land on him

It’s just his bad luck that it lands between him and Lavi, the latter of which quickly telling you to re-spin to cheer him up

Much to everyone’s surprise, after you’ve gone again, it lands on Allen

He nearly jumps out of his spot to kiss you, causing you to giggle and blush

You’re just too cute when you blush and your little laugh makes him blush as well

Honestly, he grabs both sides of your face before smashing his lips onto yours

The kiss is a bit awkward, but the intentions within it are very apparent

For the rest of the night, the two of you steal glances at each other, looking away and blushing as your gazes meet one another each and every time

Honestly, no one is really sure why or how he’s here, but it’s too late for them to kick him out, seeing as it’s already his turn

Besides, he’s been well-behaved the entire time and hasn’t caused any trouble

Tyki was originally hoping for the bottle to land on Lenalee, but as soon as he saw you, that all changed

He was certainly intrigued when you entered the room for the first time that night

Who were you? Why were you here? And why had he never seen you before?

He didn’t know and he didn’t like that

It was now his goal to find the answers to his questions, reaching his ears in-between moans and gasps from you as you writhed underneath his body, preferably

The tension in the room grew to an uncomfortable, suffocating level that was thick enough to cut with a knife

His devilish grin and the sadistic gleam in his eyes would only grow as it landed on you, the object of his desire

Before you, or the others, could protest, he pulled you into his lap

His fingers would tangle in your hair, tugging roughly before locking his lips with your own

As you moaned into the kiss, his other hand would find your hip, his fingers digging into the soft, tender flesh

You could hear some of your friends growl or scoff in disgust, causing Tyki to smirk in response

Before things could go on for much longer, Lavi would rip you from his lap, promptly glaring at the Noah as he did so

Lavi would ask if you were okay as he sat you down between him and Allen but you would be in too much of a daze to answer

As the game came to a close, the others would try to drag you away from him, but you were so intrigued, desperate to know what would happen if you went with him for the night

His gaze would linger on yours, prompting you to follow him to some secluded location, where he’d immediately pin you to the wall

He would normally take what he wanted, no matter the circumstances but he didn’t want the others to hear what cute noises you had to make

The rest of the night was very eventful for you

I know I have Lavi headcannoned as being kinda cocky and confident but I feel like if he hasn’t confessed to his crush at this point, then he’s actually a bit nervous

It’s more antsy, he can’t sit still, he’s grinning and blushing like an idiot

He’s always so flirty with every girl he encounters, you feel like you don’t stand a chance

He sat there, not moving, as everyone watched expectantly

Kanda glanced at your figure before glaring at the others

Before he could leave though, someone pushed him into you, causing the two of you to lock lips

That was something nobody had ever expected from the rather stoic male

He would huff and stomp away at that moment but would make sure to find you later that night when the two of you could be alone

it was one NORMAL day after a totally NORMAL mission. other than the fact that you were trying to reach for a FUCKING BOOK in komui’s office. it was finally cleaned and you were FINALLY able to grab some of the books from behind his desk- BUT YOUR SHORT-ASS SELF COULDN’T REACH.

“....(y/n)? what are you doing?” Lavi said coming up from behind you while letting out small laughs.

“shut up- im trying to steal one of komui’s books.”

you desperately tried to reach your hand out farther, going on your tip-toes and everything. just to reach this. one. BOOK.

Lavi let out a hardy laugh while you stood there...struggling.

“i wonder how the weather is down there~” lavi joked. fucking ANNOYING JOKES-

“lav-”

“i hope you know your head is literally the perfect armrest for me”

you growled and glared at him, piercing KNIFES into his soul.

“you look like you still have a lot of growing up to do.”

lavi blinked and smirked. his eyes glimmering with mischievousness as he crept up to you.

“lavi...what are you doing?”

he stayed silent and slowly backed you up against a wall, and pinning you there with one arm. 

“short people get angry easily because they are closer to the ground and the anger doesn’t dissipate very well”

you looked at him and his smug grin and pouted, crossing your arms and looking away. lavi laughed, clutching onto his stomach from the lack of air he was getting before getting back up and wiping a tear away from his eye. 

“babeee!! im sorry!!” he laughed again.

you didn’t say anything and closed your eyes tightly shut. not wanting to pay any attention to lavi. but before you knew it, lavi kissed you cheek. making you snap open your eyes and see him holding the book you were trying to grab. 

of course he also had a shit eating grin and you grabbed the book from him. “thank you...lavi..”

“your welcome...beansprout.”

“wha- DID YOU GET THAT FROM KANDA??”

“sure did!!”

Allen Walker:

Allen has to get used to you at first – not in a bad way, but you reminded him of Lala and his early start in The Order, which always feels bittersweet to him.

He avoids you because he’s afraid he’ll make you uncomfortable

Which in turn makes you afraid that you’re making him uncomfortable

Early on, you confide in your sister and Lenalee about this, unsure as to why Allen avoids you like the plague.

Lenalee offers to talk to him for you, but your sister reminds you that it’s important you communicate yourself (“if you want to get better social skills you need to train them, it’s better if you talk to him yourself!”)

And you really do try – problem is, Allen’s terribly good at dodging interactions, constantly excusing himself (“I’m so sorry but I promised to go to the lab and get my arm tested!”, “I haven’t slept in several days, I’ll find you when I’m rested!”, “I’m starving, I’ll be right back!”)

And it’s very unlike him. You know this based on other people’s interactions with him and their surprise when you tell them how he avoids you.

You end up super discouraged and decides to stop trying, what’s the point if he doesn’t want to talk with you, right?

Your sister gets pissed, absolutely vivid that he made you feel this dejected and before you can stop her, she marches to his quarters, well aware that he just came home from a mission mere hours ago, giving him a stern talking to – half the Order keeps away from you and your sister the rest of that day

You’re sitting in the common area with a book Reever has recommended to you – it’s a technical book, teaching about fungi in the woods – you weren’t sure how relevant this information would ever be to you, but the way he’d trembled in excitement as you’d asked him for recommendations had made you want to figure out what all that “fungi” was about. You vaguely notice someone clearing their throat near you but you’re trying to make heads and tails of the scientific names for mushrooms and don’t look up, figuring it’s meant to be at someone else.

“I’m sorry, is the seat taken?” when they talk to you, you almost jump out of your seat, looking up to see who was giving you such a heart attack. You’re taken aback when Allen is standing next to the couch, a nervous smile on his lips – he looks strained, is your first thought. Your second thought is the confusion as to why he’s reaching out to you, suddenly.

You sit up straighter, making room for him and he smiles gently at you before sitting down, a ‘thank you’ whispered out into the room. It’s been a few days since your sister stormed into his quarters and she’s been so livid that you actually aren’t sure what came out of her attack on him, so you’re surprised to see him here.

He clears his throat again and claps his hands together, “so… your sister, made me aware of my… errors,” he starts, scratching the back of his neck before looking down. “I didn’t avoid you because I disliked you… actually, it was the opposite!” he admits, a blush creeping onto his cheeks, “I just think you’re… cute… and I’m not entirely sure how to talk to you, I admit.”

You smile and close the book in your lap, “like you talk to anyone?” you provide and he laughs. You feel something flutter in your stomach from listening to his laugh and he finally looks at you properly, “yeah, you’re right. You want to go have lunch together?”

You scrunch up your nose initially before you can school your expression and he realize what he just asked a doll, clapping his hands together in front of him in apology, “gosh, I’m so sorry! Again, I’m so nervous… I just… I want to spend time with you… but I’m not sure how…” he admits and you can’t help but smile at his nervous antics. You reach out your hands to his left hand, missing the small jump he does upon you touching that hand so he just looks at you dumb-founded. You smile warmly at him, “you can be as nervous as you’d like! But I don’t mind going with you to eat, if you’re hungry? We can talk while you eat.”

He smiles back at you and squeezes your hands in his, “yeah, I’d like that.”

 Lavi:

Lavi is endlessly fascinated with you and your sister originally fears he wants to study you more than becoming your friend, noticing how he has so many questions to your being and work-up

He is acting very curious to make sure it’s obvious that his interest in you is definitely, completely Bookman-related (it isn’t).

So whenever you’re alone together the atmosphere is much calmer and more relaxed than what it might look like to on-lookers when you’re interacting other places

You understand why he’s doing this, quickly catching on to the tedious tidbits of being a Bookman in training and how he struggles with relations, he doesn’t ever say it out loud but you put the pieces together, knowing it’s actually bothering him a lot.

When you’re together he tries to make it fun and lighthearted first and foremost and you always laugh a lot when he’s around, one time even noticing how your cheeks ached from smiling and laughing

When you asked your sister why it’d felt sore even though you’d been having fun, she’d questioned you thoroughly about your conversations, wanting to make sure you weren’t being used or exploited

(She knows you can take of yourself but… better safe than sorry, right?)

“Man, yer sister’s really protective of you,” Lavi smiles as he sits down next to you on the ledge of the fence. You’re watching the sun rise with Lavi every morning, when possible, from the top of the building as he drinks a morning coffee – he has to go to the library early if he’s not on a mission so this is the most alone time you’re guaranteed to have on a daily basis. You lean into his shoulder with your own as you let out a laugh, “I’m not blaming her though,” he adds for good measure, pushing back against you with a warm smile on his lips.

“So what do you have to read about today?” you ask, knowing that Bookman has him on a pretty broad but set curriculum.

He tells you that his current subject is classified but that it’s very interesting – it’s obvious how excited he is and how badly he wants to go into detail but also understands his position as a bookman in training. He shifts the subject to his “free study” on food cultures all over Europe.  

He smiles as he leans back on his arms, “we don’t always need to talk about me, y’know,” he takes a sip of his coffee, looking at the scenery in front of you two. You smile, “but I do enjoy learning about you,” you reply fast and he spits out his beverage, making you laugh in surprise.

“Ah, my poor heart,” he sighs dramatically, clutching his shirt in his hands. You lightly punch him on the shoulder for teasing you and he gasps dramatically, “I was not teasing you, by God! I am simply taking care of the beating of my heart around you,” he states matter-of-factly and you boo at him, sticking out your tongue.

He looks back at the sun who’d slowly been making its appearance clearer and clearer, lighting up your home for you, “I’m not meant to have one, but you keep reminding me that I have one.”

You lean onto him again, kicking your feet a bit to alleviate the jitter that came with being nervous around him, “hey, I don’t even have a real one and you’re making me feel like I do.”

 Kanda Yuu:

Kanda wasn’t fond of you in the beginning, unable to see the purpose of you – you couldn’t fight, you would stop existing if he removed your “heart” (to which you’d replied he probably would as well, you know. “That’s how humans work.” He hadn’t had a proper comeback because it took him a couple of minutes to figure out what you meant and that pissed him off.)

He was actually the exorcist who ended up escorting you and your sister to the Order when you originally arrived, grumbling about it all the way, not making the whole “new life” thing any easier for you or your sister who were already worried about what this new life would entail

Upon seeing his attitude on your initial travel you actually made an effort to avoid him at most costs at the Order

Once, you went to the cafeteria with your sister so she could have lunch but after seeing him walk in right before you, you turn around and hide in your room (it wasn’t hiding, per see, you tried to argue when your sister came to get you and scold you)

Then your sister was away on a mission – she was with the chief of the science department, Reever, out to get supplies for you and your maintenance (just in case something ever happened, she’d assured you) but it was the first time you were without her for longer than a day at the Order and it’d made you anxious and jumpy as you made your way around the Order.

Lenalee recommended you try to meditate to spend the time and find some ease and quiet

She offers to go with you but you’re determined to do this alone, you decide. To show your sister what you’re capable of and proudly tell her about it when she comes back

You’re situated in the room, on one of the mats, ready to “meditate”

When you realize you haven’t really been properly introduced to meditation at all, making you groan in frustration.

You’re lying on the floor, limbs sprawled out on two mats in defeat, trying some random breathing exercise as a form of meditation. The door slides open and you yelp out as you try to sit up, failing miserably. As you look up you lock eyes with none other than Kanda Yuu – the man you’d very diligently been avoiding for several months. He stares back at you with the same amazement before he furrows his eyebrows and puffs out an annoyed huff. He doesn’t make an effort to leave again though, entering the room and sliding the door closed after him. He sits himself down to the right across from you, clearing his throat once before crossing his legs.

You’ve been following him with your eyes as he got settled. A thought occurs to you and you smile, starting to mirror his position. If you just did what he did – you’d be meditating, right? As you’re sitting in the exact same position you keep stealing glances at him – something’s supposed to be happening now?

Kanda’s not unaware of your staring, his brows furrowing more and more with each passing moment. Your breathing’s too loud, constantly sighing out or clearing your throat and he’s minutes from having it.

“You’re supposed to be calm when meditating,” he says and he hears you let out a gasp as he speaks. He wants to roll his eyes but he doesn’t want to make it obvious that he’s reacting to you being here, so he huffs out a small breath and straightens his back.

He hears you shuffling around and he doesn’t know what you’re up to until it becomes too much and he hurriedly looks in the direction of your sounds. He grunts out in surprise when he finds you on the mat next to him, your wide eyes locked on him, “tell me how to meditate.”

He inhales sharply, this time actually rolling his eyes, before straightening back up, “Find a comfortable position – it can be anything, but this one works for me.”

You hurriedly to mirror him again, looking invested. He’s not entirely sure why he’s doing this – had it been anyone else, he’d have cut them up with Mugen for demanding something from him like that. But you, you’re somehow different and he’s curious as to why.

He closes his eyes again to keep a blush from creeping up on his face, “close your eyes and relax. Don’t try to control your breathing or your thoughts, just… be.”

You let out a groan, “really? Just be?” you mimic him in a mocking tone and he sends you a very him kind of death glare, “you want my help or not?”

You squeak out before going back into position, “alright, alright. I’ll just… be, then.”

You sit there in silence and your eyebrow ticks at each passing second but right before you’re about to groan and flail dramatically, you feel his arm on top of yours, “I told you to relax, didn’t I?”

You inhale sharply and feel heat bloom where you’re touching, instantly relaxing. You exhale slowly, feeling the frustration leave your body as it relaxes. Alright, you can do this, right?

In your concentration you miss Kanda’s smirk, though you do notice that his hand doesn’t leave you for the rest of the session.

You and Lavi have known each other since you were children as your parents have been close friends since before you were born 

Being childhood friends you guys made the obligatory childhood promise that occurs between childhood friends in every shoujo manga 

Which is, of course, the promise to marry each other when you get older 

The two of you grew up next door to each other and were somewhat close to each other when you guys were young but over the years grew apart 

Not exactly apart to the point where you two stopped talking to each other but t0 the point that it would surprise people that you two were friends

Despite not being as close as you used to be you two always walk home together living next to each other 

The last year of your third year of junior high was the moment that the of you started to become close again as your friends began to get together and the two of you were the only ones in your friend group that didn’t have an s/o leaving the two of you together in a sense 

At the beginning, it would be awkward for the two of you when you started to hang out together without anyone else for the first time 

But after a while, it would start to be less awkward and more normal with the two of you hanging out more and more with the two of you always laughing and smiling whenever the two of you hung out 

Noticing that you two were hanging out more and more and also noticing how happy the two of you were together Lenalee starts to question you about your relationship with Lavi as you wait for Lavi  

Lenalee : “Soooo….” 

Y/N : “So?”

Lenalee : “Are you and Lavi dating now?” 

Y/N : “What?!” No, of course not!” 

Lenalee : “Really? Considering how Lavi has been recently I just assumed that the two of you were dating”

As she looks at you from the corner of her eye she sees the curious look on your face and explains what she means before you ask her 

Lenalee : “I just thought the two of you were dating because Lavi decided to hang out with you”

She takes a small pause as she looks over to you, noticing that you still don’t quite understand what she means 

Lenalee : “It’s just that Lavi was complaining about Allen being busy all the time to hang out but when Allen asked him if they wanted to hang out a few days ago Lavi said he couldn’t because he was supposed to hang out with you. I mean I thought that meant that the two of you were dating.” 

After that, there a small moment of silence before Lenalee speaks up once again to end the awkward silence 

Lenalee : “But on another note what do you think of Lavi? 

Y/N : “What I think of Lavi? What do you mean?”

Lenalee : “I mean do you think he’s handsome after all that’s one of the main reasons why he’s so popular. You’re really lucky to always have a handsome guy follow you around all the time, maybe the reason he hangs out with you a lot is that he has a crush on you” 

After hearing that your face turns red and Lenalee starts to laugh as she sees your reaction 

Y/N : Lenalee-” 

“Y/N!”

Before you can respond to Lenalee’s comment you are interrupted by someone yelling out your name and as you look up you see Lavi waving up at you 

The moment Lavi reaches the two of you Lenalee stands up

Lenalee : “You know what I forgot I was supposed to help the science club with something, sorry. I guess I’ll see you two later.” 

Just before she walks away she walks up to you and whispers good luck before winking and walking towards the school confusing Lavi 

After the two of you walk together in silence as you think about what Lenalee said before pushing it away 

The next day you meet up with Lavi at the park

After walking around for a while the two of you decide to site down, the two of you continue your conversation before the two of you get hungry and Lavi decides to get the two of you something to eat leaving you with your thoughts 

You start to think about what Lenalee said about Lavi and you think about how much he’s changed since you were kids causing you to get embarrassed and bury your face in your hands 

Lavi : “What are you doing Y/N?”

Y/N : “Aaahh!” 

Y/N : “Oh! Lavi, I didn’t see you there”

He sits down next to you and passes you a crepe 

Lavi : “Sorry, there was really only a crepe vendor” 

After that, the two of you start to talk again 

Lavi : “Hey, do you remember that promise we made when we were kids about how we were going to get married when we got older?”

Y/N : “Oh yeah, that. What about it are interested in someone or something?” 

Lavi : “N-No of course, not I’m just curious, that’s all. It’s kind of funny to think that we thought we were going to get married when we got older”

Y/N : “You know I wouldn’t have minded if something like that happened in the future.”

After that, the two of you stop talking until you finish your food and spend the rest of the day talking to each other awkwardly

The day goes by fast and you guys walk back home in silence 

You get to your house and you and Lavi awkwardly say goodbye but before you go inside Lavi says something

Lavi : “You know it would be nice if we could hang out again, as more than friends”

Y/N : “I’d like that a lot”

After that here is another moment of awkward silence before Lavi says he has to go and he walks next door

He listens to lots of different music and just vibes with whoever he’s with. Can go from one genre to the complete opposite in seconds.

Mostly listens to rock or grunge. He likes the sound of older music better.

Is 100% the type to have his music blaring in his old beater. Will roll his windows down when someone approaches and just crank it up.

Kanda

Has questionable taste in music. Listens to the weirdest, most random stuff that doesn’t go together at all.

Likes tv show openings.

Likes 80s/90s music and K-pop, metal, and classical.

Lavi

He listens to mostly new music but still enjoys a variety of music. Lavi likes to know and appreciate older music for the history of it. Definitely took a music history class at some point.

Likes the electric sound that new pop has but can’t seem to stop listening to stuff with more of an emo pop-punk sound.

Lenalee

Isn’t opposed to newer music just isn’t her first choice. Listens to Naethan Apollo and Olivia Rodrigo.

Headcanon with Allen, Kanda and Lavi with their S/O on Mission.

Allen:

☆ is very worried at first but as soon as you sit in the train he looks forward to your time together

☆ In the hotel, he suggests sleeping together in a room.

☆ but as innocent as our little cinnamon is, he means sleeping  in the same room but not in the same bed. Now imagine our poor Allen if he just  stand in front of a queen-size bed.

☆ of course you tease him and say he would have planned it from the start. And he denies this with a red head and tries to explain with stammering and waving arms that he has no intention in this direction.

☆ In a fight with Akumas, he tries to leave you out as best he can and and  to kill them alone. but if that is not possible and you get into a fight then he worries and tries to be with you as soon as possible

☆ back in the black order his worry and tension subsides and he only wants to lie in bed with you and rest.

Kanda:

▪ Kanda is not a big fan of mixing private and work, so you have to be able to take care of yourself. It would be annoying for him if you would only rely on him

▪ Kanda needs to know that you are fine if he is not around, so he is looking for someone on a similar level as him in a partner.

▪ On the train he is silent as always, but he likes it when you talk to him. Your voice calms him down and he always learns something new about you

▪ In the hotel he booked separate rooms but didn't find it bad if there was only one left. but if there is only one bed, he shows himself unaffected but is more than nervous on the  inside.

▪ Even if he separates private and work, he appreciates the undisturbed time with you. As long as you are not in a fight or inquiries, he has nothing against togetherness.

▪ back in the black order he expects professionalism and a distance. In the room you can keep him company and rest there with him on what he insists to make sure that you also recover your strength.

Lavi:

♡ Lavi sees it much like Allen. He doesn't like letting you fight alone and always tries to strengthen your back. Lavi needs someone who knows his limits and does not plunge into daring battles.

♡ in the hotel, lavi immediately requests a room with only one bed. this daredevil doesn't even try to hide his intention instead he grins mischievously at you and makes sure that everyone knows that you are together.

♡ Sometimes or always lavi forgets that you are only in the hotel because of your mission then you have to stop him at his approaches. Then he pouts a little but then sets out to finish the mission.

♡ At headquarters, he follows you to the room and just lies down with you. While you want to sleep, he has other plans
