I think Patch and Fannie should be really good friends. But it’s really awkward and funny. like Fannie, he learns what’s going on with everybody on the island by virtue of being the only doctor. But he isn’t spilling all of his patients medical records obviously!

But Fannie. She’s got the scoop all around. I just think it would be incredibly funny if anytime Fannie delivered him mail or came in for a routine check up that she started spilling the beans.

She does this with everybody but I think Patch is just the right amount of “I shouldn’t be hearing this” and a highly intrigued for it to be hilarious. He’s trying to listen to her breathing with the stethoscope and Fannie is talking about the latest “romance” blossoming on the island that a little robean told her about - the little birdie being leafos, and the romance being entirely fabricated because leafos jumped the gun and assumed. Patch wouldn’t ever tell anybody further but I think he’d still be like… hmmm…

Patch x Leafos fanfiction: The Festival

Hello people, I finally finished this fanfic, after like two weeks or so. I must say, I’m really proud of this ^^; Reblogs and likes are really appreaciated.

It's been a good couple of months since Leafos decided to be Doc Patchingo's assistant. Patch wouldn't really admit it to anyone but he really liked her, she is an excellent assistant but she can say things that make the poor doctor blush and sweat from embarrassment. But one very thing that Patch was grateful for was whenever Dastardos would show up, she would help him stand up for himself when Dastardos was taunting, teasing or trying to cause him bodily harm and that got on Dastardos' nerves.

Today, Patch had a day off and that meant Leafos had a day off as well, and usually Patch slept the entire day but not this time. Today there was a festival organised by the one and only Eddie Lizard one of the richest people on Pinata Island and a good friend of Patch as well and that's why Patch was invited and he could bring someone with him but only one person. Patch didn't had many people that he trusted, Maxime was always a bit loud and she would tease him a bit besides Eddie likes her a lot and she is probably already invited, he would invite Eddie but its Eddie's party in the first place so he didn't need an invitation, the only person for him to bring with him was Leafos.

Patch isn't the best with talking to girls and he wasn't especially good with talking to cute girls like Leafos, so he would have to invite without fainting from embarrassment or making a complete moron of himself.

He walked up to Leafos' house, hoping he would see Jardinero. He knocked on the door twice, he then looked at the ground while fiddling with his fingers. Finally Leafos opened the door and looked at the doctor with a soft smile, "Hello Patch! I didn't expect to see, I though you would be sleeping." she said in her usually Irish accent. Patch blushed a bit and gave her an invitation for Eddie's festival, "I-I just wanted to ask y-you, er if you w-want to go t-to the festival with m-m-me that Eddie organised..." he stuttered as he avoided eye contact with her. Leafos put her hand on her mouth, and took the invitation, her cheeks went a bit pink, she then smiled at the doctor and nodded, "Oh of course, I'll come with you! I see you at 8pm at the festival then." she said as she gave him a warm smile and closed the the door. Patch laughed in triumph, he then happily walked back to his clinic.

As soon as Patch arrived at his clinic, he began to get ready for the festival, he put on his tux and his blue bow tie, he kept his money helmet on. Finally when it 6:30pm, Patch stared to make his way to the festival.

The festival was very lively and colourful, and there was a lot of people, like Maxime, Storkos, Seedos, Petual, just to name a few since there is more people at the festival. As soon as Patch stepped a foot where the festival was, he good a friendly hug from Eddie, "Hello Patch! I'm glad to see you pal! So tell me, did you bring anyone else?" asked the rich boy dressed in a nice colorful tux and a feathery flashy mask. Patch suddenly clapped his hands on his head, he forgot to bring Leafos with him. He frantically looked around, "I-I...er...uh..." he stuttered, he then felt someone touching his shoulder gently, he turned around to see Leafos, she had a beautiful blue dress, sky blue gloves and a delicate blue mask with darker patches of blue on it. "I need did brought someone with him." said Leafos in happy voice, as she looked at Patch who was blushing and sweating like crazy. Eddie laughed and bowed elegantly, "Alrighty then! I welcome you to my festival, have fun you two!" he exclaimed in his charming tone of voice, he then quickly got next to Patch and nudged him with his elbow, "I'm glad you found a girlfriend." whispered Eddie, he giggled as he saw Patch blush.

So far so good was going for both Patch and Leafos, there was plenty of food, drinks and even some small shops. Finally there was a karaoke machine, right now Gretchen was singing, her voice was phenomenal and pleasing to hear. There were couples dancing around, the song. that Gretchen was singing was slow and calm. Leafos suddenly looked at Patch with a smile on her face, she then grabbed his arm and pulled him where everybody was dancing or at least where couples where dancing. Patch started to sweat like crazy, he doesn't know how to dance, "L-Leafos...I-I don't know how to dance..." he spluttered as he looked at Leafos with worry under his bangs, "Don't worry Patch, just repeat what I'm doing and you'll be fine." she assured him gently as she looked at him and smiled.

But up there in one of trees, Dastardos sitting and looking down at Patch and Leafos, who where dancing, Leafos was smiling while Patch blushing and nervously smiling at Leafos. Right next to him was Seedos who decided to take a small break, he looked at his brother, "Relax...I'm sure they are just having fun..." he said quietly, Dastardos just made a sour expression "This moron shouldn't even think about doing anything to her." he hissed spitefully as he squinted his eyes at Patch. Seedos sighed, his brother was clearly overreacting, "Well, it could've been worse you know..." he mumbled as he looked down at his sister and the doc.

Things were okay for Patch so far, he hadn't done anything stupid which was good at least it was good for him. Leafos' eyes shone and she smiled at Patch, she then stopped dancing and Patch stopped as well. "Patch...I want to show you something...promise me that you'll never forget it." she whispered to him, Patch shuddered and looked at Leafos, one of his eyes exposed to look at her directly. "A-alright, s-s-show me." he whispered back to her, before he knew it Leafos gently put her lips against his and embraced him in the process. Patch's eyes widen under his bangs, and his face became red from embarrassment, Leafos then broke the kiss and looked at Patch, "I think I've been your assistant for a very long time now...don't you think we should take a step further? What do you say, do you want to be...my boyfriend?" she asked him as he looked at Patch who had his jaw wide open from shock. The doc looked at Leafos and nervously nodded as he smiled at her, "I...would love to..." he said to her without stuttering and Leafos found that impressive. Both of them hugged each other as the night sky was covered in beautiful shiny stars, and the moonlight covered the whole festival.

Dastardos obviously saw all of this and he was about to scream but thankfully Seedos covered his mouth in time. "Shh! Be quiet!" he nervously whispered as he looked at his brother with worry. "This-bastard! He is dating-! My little sister!" Dastardos whispered furiously as if he was about to explode and give away his location where he was hiding, Leafos' lips touched Patch's filthy lips, ugh!

He reached out to his hair to pull out his whacking stick, "Next time I see him! I will break his spine!" he hissed with wrath and venom in his voice, Seedos just sighed and shook his head, his brother's temper was quite thin, wasn't it?

Had another "3rd game" dream and we remember some character animation and dialogue

Animation and dialogue:

• He uses his shovel to help keep balance as he walks, since he hasn't been using his legs for quite some time.

• Stardos will go from his general idle animation to slowly leaning to the side, then plop, his head resting on top of his shovel and just quietly taking a quick snooze. Then he'll jerk up awake and look around a bit embarrassed, cover his mouth to yawn, then return to his idle animation. This happens randomly throughout the day and night when he stands around not doing anything.

• He will often play with piñata, crouching down and just moving his scarf like playing with a cat and string.

• He has two specific animations for sours. One scolding them for being naughty, then one praising them for being good. (I only remembered the scolding one at the time)

• If he's nearby when one of his siblings is happy, he will also get happy for them. Eg. Seedos excited at a fully fertilized flower, Leafos praising a pinata (second game), Storkos delivering an egg.

• When a piñata is sick in the garden he will look sick himself, stumbling, holding his head and shaking a bit. He will try to bring your attention to the sick piñata without being near it himself. He will very quietly hum to himself for comfort. If the doctor isn't called after a lengthy amount of time, he will sort of dissociate, and slowly drag his feet towards it, almost like his scarf is leading him to it. He will try to stumble back away from it but eventually he brings his shovel down on it. Afterwards, he seems startled at what happened and what he's done and become extremely upset. He leaves the garden for a while to cope.

Some of the lines you hear from him:

"I was honestly half expecting to see a block of me on the Tower of Sour, ha ha."

"To tell you the truth... I'm... Not quite ready to go home yet. It's been so long, I'm a bit nervous. ... Besides, I've always felt more comfortable around piñata, and a big garden... I hope it's alright with you."

"I get the most awful headaches being around sick piñata. Please call the doctor as soon as you see one. ... Please."

"I don't remember a lot of things, but I do remember Sidos-- um, sorry, Seedos, adopting a family of Shellybeans. Or did they adopt him..."

"You know, the sour piñata might act nasty, but they really can't help it, they're overflowing with sour candy, sometimes weeds too. That's all they have to eat until they find a garden. I think they'd be nicer if they had a little bit of sweetness in their diet."

"I've heard some gardeners actually prefer the sour piñata over their un-soured counterparts. ... I'm still not sure how to feel about that."

"Leafos has been bragging about how much taller she is than me. ... N-no I'm not upset, it's not like I'm supposed to be the big brother or anything."

"I remember Mother said that 'hate is a strong word,' but I can't think of anything else to describe how I feel about ruffians. ... Which is a bit ironic, considering she also said angry children turn into them."

"I think Doctor Patch is still scared of me. I mean, I know he's scared of everyone but... Still... I can't exactly blame him."

"I'd love to have piñata of my own one day, I used to borrow a vulcherro for the piñata races and P-factor. I wonder if I could actually adopt them now."

"I don't mind sleeping outside, it sure beats an old sour tree."

Basic run down, this is an incorrect quotes blog for Viva Piñata and its sequel: Trouble in Paradise. This will focus on the humanoid characters and the games, so not the show!

One thing to note: Exclutionists, terfs, MAPs of any kind, and pro-shippers aren’t welcome here.

Canon Character - Hal relationship headcanons

PINATA CENTRAL / FAMILY MEMBERS

Leafos

Leafos finds him quite a sad person, like a lost sour goobaa. They’ve only interacted a few times when she makes rounds to check on all the gardeners, but they’re polite to one another. Leafos wants to help him get out and meet more people but since she doesn’t know him that well herself, isn’t sure how exactly to help.

Seedos

Seedos is scared of Hal and doesn’t go near the garden in fear of being beaten up by the sours. Hal often forgets he exists, to be honest. He has nothing against the man. 

Jardiniero

Jardiniero doesn’t like Hal and the feeling is mutual. As a “student” of his old apprentice and rival, Pester, Jardiniero believes he’s a menace that needs to be dealt with. He keeps record of missing pinatas and plans on exposing Hal’s crimes by catching him in the act. Hal wants to shove him and his wheelchair off of the island. 

Storkos

Since Hal doesn’t usually breed his pinatas, they’ve barely interacted. Storkos is cautious of him due to her father’s hatred and brother’s fears. Hal quietly admires her flight ability and dedication to her job. 

Langston Lickatoad

Langston confuses Hal. Why can a lickatoad talk? He often wonders if he’s the result of a magic spell gone wrong. Langston doesn’t mind Hal even if he is a poacher. Those pinata usually make their way to the Cannonata anyway. Better it be them and not him!

VILLAGERS/SHOP KEEPERS

Bart

Bart is a bit scared of Hal, to be honest. Not of the man himself, but how he’s able to live with sours and be perfectly fine. Bart has had a lot of bad encounters with the sours in Hal’s garden so refuses to do home orders anymore. This has led Hal to usually either visiting the village or just making the thing himself from scratch without using magic.

Arfur Stout

Hal is a frequent costumer at Arfur’s Inn and has a long tab. Arfur doesn’t mind the tab as he does often pay off bits and pieces of it when he can. He feels sorry for the man as he’s almost always alone at the bar when he visits. Sometimes he gives him free lottery tickets to help. Hal never wins but he appreciates the gesture. 

“Fun fact! Hal’s favourites here are chocolate thickshakes and banana milk! Strange for a sour folk, ain’t it?” - Arfur.

Lottie

What they have could be described as a friendly rivalry of sorts. Hal makes a lot of money with his job, but most of that money goes into upkeep and keeping himself alive so it runs out fast. He often tries to barter prices with Lottie to which she attempts to kick him out of the store for even THINKING of questioning her prices. It’s all in good fun though as they’ll often be seen in a heated debate with one another whenever it’s grocery day.

Gretchen Fetchem

Bart has mixed feelings towards Hal. On one hand someone that can raise sours and not get torn to shreds is something to be researched, on the other he is a poacher-- her rival in the job industry. She finds his methods barbaric and occasionally goes on missions to raid his garden for stolen pinatas. They have fought on multiple occasions, somehow without serious injury however which keeps their relationship less hateful than it should be.

Miss Petula

Petula thinks he’s a cool guy. After all, he’s a biker! Tall, dark, mysterious and handsome, though she isn’t really interested in him that way. She is vaguely curious of just who he is and likes to question him when he visits. He humours her as she never digs too far and he likes to ramble about his sours. Petula would be the closest thing to a friend besides Arfur that Hal has.

Fannie Franker

He finds her mask terrifying to be honest. He often visits in order to ship out pinatas and ransom letters for prized pinatas he’s stolen. Fannie is vaguely aware that he’s a criminal and what he’s posting probably shouldn’t be allowed, but she figures it’s not her business to go poking around in other people’s matters. 

Doc Patchingo

They have a rocky relationship to say the least. Patch refuses to visit the garden after having his car eaten by sour cocoadiles and Hal doesn’t really resent him for that. Hal usually doesn’t visit for pinata health related reasons-- but that’s doctor-patient confidentiality!

Ivor Bargain

Hal has never met him as his garden is too far out in the wilds for his cart to visit. Ivor vaguely knows of him from Jardiniero’s ranting but doesn’t really know what to think of him.

SOUR FOLK

Professor Pester

Pester basically raised Hal from age 8 on wards alongside young Dastardos. He considers them both to be bothers, but regrets taking in Hal more. At least Dastardos has a simple and solid evil scheme, Hal acts like a brute one day then a manic genius the next! He also finds it a betrayal that the sours like Hal but still attack him. He’s too cowardly to do anything about Hal however and just leaves him be.

Hal is fearful of him secretly.

Dastardos

He and Hal were raised together, though it’s hard to call them brothers of a sort. They had a harsh rivalry in their youth, often vying for Pester’s approval and causing chaos where they could. As they grew up, they slowly grew further apart emotionally and literally as Hal moved back to his old garden. They usually try to avoid one another nowadays.
