Praying for Answers

It was the early morning hours when Stef was woken up by her racing thoughts. She sat up and looked at the clock, sighing when she saw it wasn't even five in the morning. The blonde got up out of bed, quietly putting on her slippers and going downstairs to make herself a cup of coffee. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she furrowed her brows at the sight of the kitchen lights on. Who could possibly up at this hour? When the unfamiliar smells of some middle eastern dishes filled her nose, she knew it was Zara. Maybe she was having trouble sleeping, too?

"Morning." Stef said, walking into the kitchen and meeting the teenager's gaze. "What's all this? Couldn't sleep?" She wasn't much to pay attention to calendar dates unless they were important to her, so she wasn't aware that this time of year held any significance. "This all smells amazing. Can I help you with anything?" She asked, trying to be helpful.

Unhinged thought I just had, because I wanna give Lex Luthor the most cursed headaches:

Conner Kent, exploring his identity, as a person and gender identity both, finds that he's actually she, and takes it up with Wonder Woman for advice, if she has any experience or any sisters that are trans women.

And as her body changes, as the gender affirming care she needs starts doing it's thing, instead of looking like Clark's Kryptonian mom, instead starts looking more and more like...(*drum roll please*)

Lena Luthor, Lex's sister who likes to annoy him to the ends of his patience, and calls it "bonding".

He's lucky he's bald, or he would be going grey rapidly at seeing his kid look more and more like his sister every day.

First of all this is genius!

Second the very common look for Lena seems to be from the show Supergirl so that's who I ended up referencing for how Lena looks like, it was that or her blonde and blue eyed look in the comics

Also would Kon keep her name? Or even change her last name to Kryptonian last names like Kara's?

Lie To Me

It’s quiet apart from the whirring monitors and the click of a lock behind her. It’s quiet apart from the blood rushing to her head and her breath rattling in her chest and the press of a button underneath the desk when Lena moves her left hand back, so familiar with the placement that she doesn’t even need to look.  Kara doesn’t know what she looks like in this moment. She doesn’t know if it’s the fear or desperation or disbelief that plays across her face first. She doesn’t know anything past the voice in her head that’s still in denial and battling with the knowledge that she should have considered this. Lena takes one step forward, then another, crowding into her space. A delicate hand comes to rest on her cheek and Kara looks into her eyes, piercing and emerald green. And she listens closely when she tuts, when her lips curl into a devilish smirk and she says, “Come now, darling, did you truly never see this coming?”

the apps i use are called social maker and social dummy but unfortunately they’ve been taken off the app store- if you have an old ipad or ipod or phone u might be able to get them still, or jailbreak your phone to get the apps. im so sorry they aren’t on the app anymore!!

A whisper. "Yoichi."

"Mm."

"Yocchan," Meguru tries again, louder.

"Mmmmm."

A poke to Yoichi's cheek, and another whisper. "Yoiiich-"

Dredging up all the energy he has left in him after yesterday's gruelling practice, Yoichi lifts up a hand and flops it down onto Meguru's face, cutting him off. "Wh't," he manages, though it mostly just sounds like a groan.

Meguru laughs, quiet and bright, lifting the hand off his face. "Yocchan, I have a question."

Cracking open one eye a tiny sliver, Yoichi frowns. It's hard to make out in the dark, but he can see the outline of Meguru next to him, eyes wide open. "Mgh umh," he mumbles, which is the closest to real people words he's going to get at three in the morning.

Pushing himself up on his elbows, Meguru rolls so he’s literally leaning over Yoichi, legs tangling together under the blanket. "It's important, okay, I had to know," he whisper-declares, very seriously nodding. There is not remotely enough sleep in Yoichi's system to really do anything more than stare, waiting for whatever he wants to say.

Meguru clears his throat. Someone shuffles. "Isagi Yoichi," Meguru starts, voice low and a slight frown on his face. "Do -" he pauses for dramatic effect, because he's a bastard, before continuing, "- you love me?"

Oh. "Yeah," Yoichi says.

Meguru stares at him, frozen.

Yoichi squints. "What?" A wave of exhaustion rolls over him, and he blinks slowly. "Um. Was that it." It's not a whisper, because it's hard to regulate the volume of his voice and Yoichi is so tired.

"You -" Meguru opens his mouth, and then closes it again. Then an odd smile overtakes his face, shoulders relaxing ever so slightly. “Okay. I dare you to kiss me.”

Yoichi tries to explode him with his mind. It doesn't work. He wants to kiss Meguru, of course he does, but moving is going to require energy, which he does not have, but not kissing him would mean backing down from his dare and losing to him and the thought of losing, even half asleep, makes Yoichi bristle so - 

Letting out a sigh, he reaches up, and pulls Meguru down, closer to him, until their foreheads are touching. There. Now it’s easier. Tilting his head ever so slightly, Yoichi brushes his lips over Meguru’s cheek. “There,” he mumbles. 

In response, Meguru makes a strange noise. And then nothing.

A faint alarm bell rings in the back of his mind, but Yoichi decides it’s too much effort to listen to it. Instead, he licks his dry lips and blearily watches Meguru's gaze dart down to follow the movement. "M'guru?" he tries.

Startling slightly, Meguru blinks, then blinks again. His hair is falling over his shoulders, and in the dim lighting of the room (a nightlight, Yoichi thinks vaguely) it looks like a halo, making him glow. "Huh?" he says, finally, like Yoichi is the one who's woken him up.

And - Yoichi should be mad, and he is, kind of, but not really because Meguru is blinking at him eyes wide and focused on just Yoichi and it's kind of heady, and maybe more importantly he's a little bit delirious so all he does is pet Meguru’s hair, clumsy and tired, because his hand's still on his neck, huh, and then he lets his eye slip shut, unable to help the smile on his face. "What?" he repeats, a laugh threading its way into the word. 

There's a sharp inhale. Meguru shifts. "Yocchan," he breathes out, suddenly airy, and something in his voice makes Yoichi open his eyes - both, this time - and frown, because something is different, and it doesn't sound right, this... hesitation? His gaze flickers down to Yoichi’s lips, again, and finally, finally Yoichi’s exhausted brain starts functioning. Meguru asked - and then Yoichi had said yes, and then he’d challenged him and - and now he keeps looking at Yoichi’s lips and holy shit Yoichi is so not awake enough for this revelation. But it’s not like he has much choice in the matter because, hey, his best friend is leaning over him right now and he asked Yoichi to kiss him and Yoichi did kiss him and he kind of wants to do it again but when he’s more awake and Meguru’s gaze keeps dropping down to Yoichi’s lips like there’s some secret there he’s trying to decipher and this is so much thinking for three in the goddamn morning and Yoichi just. Huffs. 

“Megu-��� 

"Shut up, seriously," someone mumbles, and a pillow is hurled at their heads before either of them can blink. "Oh my god. Always some stupid shit with you guys."

The pillow nails Meguru, and he loses his balance and falls sideways, right off of Yoichi, with a yelp, and then he's lying on his side with a flabbergasted expression on his face and Yoichi is still mostly delirious from the lack of sleep and Meguru looks so funny and he can't help the laugh that slips out. And then Meguru starts laughing too, quiet giggles that overtake his entire body, and well. The revelations can be his problem in a few hours. For now, Yoichi reaches out to tangle his hand with Meguru’s and laughs.

How many "dhamplings" would Astarion want to have?

lena. great question. the difference between want and actuality materialises here alongside the fickle nature of Astarion's plans. here's my answer.

nine.

explanation below the cut:

one: where it all begins. regardless as to how conceived or acquired, astarion finds he's compelled by the fact there's now life beyond what he's created for himself. he LIVES in another creature - breathing, alive alive alive. all little hands and snot. gross and yet his. baby fever.

two: he did it once, he can do it again. i'd say maybe a year or two - two, i think - after the initial youngling is born. he is ECSTATIC. the PEAK of manhood. he becomes slightly insufferable here, even more so than usual.

three: number three comes following the second in quick succession. not much to say here.

four and five: these are the twins (there have to be twins somewhere right). he'd initially planned on stopping at four but made a massive show as to how the arrival of two was a 'literal sign from the gods, darling. we can't stop here. don't even suggest it' as he clutches at his pearls.

six: a couple of years later, six comes along. this is the soft restart. number one is old enough to be at big school now and his heart hurts a bit at how they're all growing. it takes a lot of scheming and persuasion but he gets his way in the end, as always.

seven: a playmate for six, he pitches. they end up closer than the twins.

eight: hypothetically the last. both parents are tired. sore. sleepy constantly. there was a big song and dance at the birth, a celebration of the end. no more trying. the youngest ancunin.

until

nine: unplanned. obviously. a lovely surprise nonetheless. after this one, it becomes clear contraceptive measures are imperative moving forward. the song and dance repeats once more and the title of youngest ancunin falls to number nine - this time, staying put.

if i'm writing SERIOUSLY then three, maybe four; but i like to imagine him as a virile goblin once he taps into the magic that allows it. feral and breedy.

If you could choose a moment for Kara to tell Lena she's Supergirl, without considering what happened in the Super life episode... Which moment would be best?;

okay i've thought a lot about this and i think the moment in 2x15 when kara is on the phone with lena, hears her get attacked, and then catches lena when she's pushed off her office balcony would be a really good moment to tell her. she just recently spent an entire episode (so, what? a week or two?) adamantly defending lena's honor and goodness when lillian broke her out of prison and manipulated her to get into lex's vault, and kara was ultimately proven right about lena (because, duh). she's had a little bit of time to breathe and let the reality of that really sink in- she was right. she was absolutely validated and justified in putting her entire faith and trust in lena. lena came through. lena did not let her down. so, when she hears lena get attacked and doesn't really have a great excuse as to how supergirl knew the exact moment lena needed saving, i think when lena asks "how did you know?" kara could've easily been like "i was on the phone with you when it happened," or something along those lines. cue her putting on her glasses, big reveal. it's early enough that it probably wouldn't feel like a huge betrayal of lena's trust, but it's been long enough for kara to completely trust lena and feel solid in that trust. i also think this is an especially good moment in time, because then when they do have that moment in lena's office a few episodes later, the impact of "i'm not going anywhere. i will always be your friend. i will always protect you." is even greater. like yeah, she's saying that as kara but there's also the weight of supergirl behind it. i just think it would've been even more meaningful with lena having the full knowledge of who kara really is as she hears that promise.
