rp plot idea

Hi. So an idea just popped in my head and i would like to try rping it.As usual i would use one of my ocs, and a friend of hers would ask to stay at her place for a few days... Because there are works at her house or any other reason, which my oc would accept. That friend would also happen to be verry much into urban exploration and ouija and whatnot, she gets verry excited about ghosts and other creatures and sometimes can act pretty reckless because of it.

Now my oc participated to a few exploration or seance but was never found of all that, it scares her more than anything else.

Knowing how much her friends loves it, she tells her that while she is in her appartement she can do researches or even go on an urbex but not contact ghosts or whatever else, at her place. The friend respects that until she hears or reads about a spirit that is suposed to be in the area. So one evening while my oc is held at work or can't come because of public transport problems, her friend goes to contact that spirit she heard about, and the next day us when she goes back home.

My oc would end up finding out about the seance, call her friend to kinda scold her and then weird/creepy things would start happening. She would tell her friend, who at first thinks she is joking or this is mt Oc way of revenge for not listening to her. That's when your character would come into play. To help my oc with the aftermath.

~I like the idea that the friend feels bad when she understands my Oc is serious and contacts someone she knows can help but we can find another way for our characters to come in contact ~Canon characters or oc accepted but i would really like to try it with canon characters ~Male or female characters accepted but if there might be romance in the rp male preferred

I can’t really give poetics of thanks to everyone at this moment—communicating and accepting appreciation has always been a struggle—but I’m so incredibly grateful for everyone who has said something and all those who silently think it. Seeing many similarities between the notorious warriors she created and the fledgling she sees laying prone on the ground, she forges a bond between them. – Umbra-kinetic Construction : The wielder has the power to construct tools, objects, weapons, or beings using their shadow, and any other shadow that comes into contact with his own.

– Adaptive Replication : The replication of abilities/traits of living and non-living, technological, and mystical objects or beings within the user’s proximity to adapt in a situation. The user is capable of mimicking the borrowed powers/traits and use them to the capacity in which it was copied.

WEAKNESSES :

– To maintain homeostasis between the two, she needs to consume equal amounts of light and darkness. Tipping the balance, will cause her to rampage, if there’s too much darkness, and will make her lethargic if she absorbs too much light.

He’s a changed boy, he who was once challenging and loud, was replaced by a dutiful and quiet boy. And slowly, but surely, he rises up in ranks, collecting belts and awards from competitions. They display the wall of his room, proof of his growth.

Haru is the spitting image of his father. From the expanse of his forhead, the refined bridge of his nose, and the strong line of his jaw. She can’t see any of herself in his features, but she knows there’s a part of him in his heart, his mannerisms, and the way that he thinks.

Haru’s careful with his words, mindful that they could cut deeper than any knife. He’s gentle in the way he treats others, knowing that everyone could be fighting their own battles, leaving their friends and loved ones totally unaware. Haru is her gentle giant, and she’s proud of the man he’s become.

“You’ve come a long way,” she tells her son one rainy night after eating dinner at a local restaurant. She drops a kiss to his cheek, tucking his seatbelt in for him before backing out into the road.

“Mom, stop, you’re embarrassing me,” Haru laughs, rubbing the lipstick off of his cheek. “Where did this come from? You’re not the sentimental type.”

“I just felt like I don’t tell you enough!” She scoffs, taking her eyes off the road to playfully glare at her son. “Is it so wrong that I want to tell my son I lo—”

“Fuck—Mom look out—”

A blinding light shines over them, highliting the fear clearly written on her son’s face. Stricken, everything moves in slow motion as she turns her head around, coming face to face with their impending death.

The last fifteen years spent with her son flash before her eyes. She remembers with startling clarity the day her baby opened his eyes, meeting her own and forging a bond older than time itself. She remembers his first word, and first step—and every other word and step after. She remembers the first time he spilt blood, having fallen off his bike, and the day he came home, flushed when he explained why he liked his first crush.

She was there for a lot of his firsts, for many of his milestones, and for that she’s thankful to have spent as much time as she had loving the child she raised all on her own.

“I love you.”

“MOM—”

He could only watch as her spirit leaves her body, could only watch as he was somehow ejected from the car, pulled out of the vehicle by an unseen entity . Skidding on the asphalt, it takes him a moment to realize he hadn’t died along with his mother. From Haru’s peripheral vision, he sees his mother’s car skid on it’s side before upturning onto it’s roof mere feet away.

It hurt to move, but he persisted as he rolled onto his hands and knees, crawling towards the wreck. He can’t leave his mother behind. Not there.

“Get a hold of yourself boy,” speaks a deep, albeit feminine voice, above him. He cranes his neck to the side and sees a woman dressed in a dark tunic held together by numerous belts and twine, a gauntlet on one hand, and a spear in another. “Your mother made a noble sacrifice. Do not let that go to waste. Livein her name.”

Before he could reply, the woman disappears like smoke as soon as sirens round the corner.

“Live.”

“Tragic! She was so young…”

“It’s a miracle the boy survived! Unscathed, too!”

“The power of a mother’s love.”

He stands at the front of the service, his mother’s portrait cradled in his hands as he listens to the whispers of his relatives, and his mother’s friends. Many have offered their condolences and well wishes, but they fell on deaf ears.

“I should’ve died with her,” he mutters under his breath as he’s ushered into his grandmother’s car, he was in her custody now since he was too young to live alone.

“What was that? Why you!—” THWACK! The old crone smacks the back of Haru’s head with her purse, muttering profanities like a sailor would. “Never! Never speak like that again, Haru.”

Biting down hard on his lip to the point of almost drawing blood, he swallows his rebuttal, knowing that it was best to weather the lecture he was about to receive.

“Your mother fought so hard to keep you. Your father? He wanted nothing to do with you. And your grandfather—may his soul rest in peace—threw your dear mother out when he heard news of her pregnancy!” His grandmother recounts his mother’s rocky past, reiterating all the things he already knew. “There was a time when she thought about giving up. Giving you up. But she didn’t. Every day was a battle for her, but she kept her chin up. And when she had you in her arms, she knew that every sacrifice she made was well worth it.”

He turns his head away, hiding the single tear that slipped out of the corner of his eye.

“Live for your mother. Don’t let all her sacrifices go to waste thinking you should’ve died with her, Haru-yah.”

Haru is lost for a while, having hit a very low point in life after his mother’s passing. He spoke with his fists rather than his words, gone was the kind and gentle boy he was known for. Despite this, he’s taken his grandmother’s words—and the words of that woman—to heart. So he lives.

So many blamed the tragedy that struck the metropolis on external issues: the goddamn weather, and some dank dungeon that only revealed itself at an ungodly hour. What the actual fuck"

“Get your head out of your ass, Paladin, and move,” a voice hisses through his ear piece. “You’re gonna get caught!”

“Roger,” Haru sighs as he settles into a lunge, positioning himself for optimal landing. Stretching one leg back, he doesn’t waste a moment as he bursts forward, sending the guards into disarray.

“Intruders! Requesting back up—”

“Ahh, fuck,” Haru hisses, unable to stop the guards from regrouping and strengthening their forces. More work for him, if anything.

Adrien Pendragon - RP Updates (2/15/22)

More About Adrien

I recently typed out a big long recap to a friend who wanted the tea and figured I’d share here as well. Might come back and clean it up eventually but here’s just a scattered retelling of what he’s gone through in FFXIV.

Thistle Brandywine - Adrien’s childhood friend - ran off to Ala Migo and Doma with nothing but a mysterious and concerning letter. This (along with a jokingly made kiss) sparks a lot of soul searching for Adrien, who up until this point found little interest in love and relationships. Thistle had always been in his life and now she was missing and he cares A LOT.

Adrien did his best to find her, but she wouldn't tell him where she was and in the end he got desperate and made a pact with a voidsent.

The demons name is Malphas and he offered a way to track Thistle. In exchange Adrien would give up one of his eyes. Now Adrien has the ability to see and find people's umbral energy. Which I've kinda interpreted as their physical forms (so not the soul). Long story short he has a way to follow Thistle’s trail.

So he went charging after her, finally tracking her down in Doma. He confesses that he loves her right before they destroy the palace and then proceed to finish freeing Ala Migo

He doesn't admit how he found her until later. Spilling the story, the fact that he still carries Malphas with him and also that he miiiiight have suffered a few episodes of "lost time" where he wakes up after several days in a new place having no recollection of where he has been or how he got there

Thistle vows to help him get rid of Malphas, calls the thing a "bitchsent" and goes so far as to start studying black magic to find a way to banish the thing

Thistle plays black mage through 90% of Shadowbringers because of this.

Meanwhile in Uldah... Adrien and Malphas get noticed by the leader of the reapers and she offers to teach him how to maintain control over the voidsent.

So he joins and he learns and it does work. It takes no small amount of effort and focus but Adrien does manage to curb Malphas taking his body for joyrides and shackle the thing into being something quite powerful

So ShB continues and Adrien slowly but surely becomes quite powerful, if not savage on the battlefield. For the first time in his life he's not running or scared. He's strong. They're defeating every light warden in their path. Malphas feels like an ally rather than a risk.

Then something goes wrong with the reapers. A second powerful voidsent appears and sets it's sights on Adrien. Adrien does his best to handle the situation on his own but eventually decides he has to tell Thistle in case something does happen to him. Basically this leads to a big fight with Thistle in which Adrien admits that he gave up trying to get rid of Malphas and that he's decided to keep him. This is right before Mt Gulg. So they end up going into that entire moment just angry and sad

Thistle ends up being the one collapsing. (We decided that she's the only one containing the light since Adrien's connection with the void basically overpowers that.) He carries her broken body back down the mountain after that entire tragic scene. They don't talk a whole lot after that. Thistle retreats into the Greatwood for a time, returning to her monk meditations as a means to control the light threatening to break free. Adrien meanwhile spends his time with the Scions trying to find a way to save her. During this time Thistle accepts that she's probably going to die when they confront Emet. But by the fucking Twelve she's going to go down swinging and take the bastard down with her.

This leads to another fight right before they face off against Emet in Amarot which Adrien tries to tell her not to just accept death. That she doesn't know what will happen and to not give up. They say many things that people in glass houses should not say. (Also I'm marvelling now at how terrible they are at waiting until the last possible moment to have serious conversations.)

They fought, they won, and went back to the source. But Adrien unlocked something in Amarot...We RPed a lil something in game where thistle and Adrien went and visited her parents And afterwards she told him she would take him as he was, voidsent or no. But Adrien wanted to be honest and he said he needed to show her what he unlocked. So he went full enshroud form. Which, in the chaos and terror of Amarot he managed to unlock and Thistle looked at him in terror. She didn't see any glimpse of her Adrien in him and started crying. So he left.

In conclusion...

Adrien has been fully spiraling. He's spent his time hunting voidsent, drinking and uh... Just letting Malphas take over because he simply can't be bothered to exist. So if you run into Adrien masked he's probably not actually... himself right now.

what I am doing about Hilda.

To get right to the point I have made the decision to hard reset her. After a few conversations and going through my very first account of Hilda I realized I need a fresh start again. I have felt stuck with her for a bit now, like I just can’t build anything or get anything off the ground. Her muse has still been here but I have felt stuck. Several events in my life contributed to it as well as me being too anxious to reach out to people.

I have been rping this muse since 2013, I was fourteen. I’m twenty three now. I’ve honestly grown up with her, that’s almost a full decade after all. I’ve gone through a few hard resets with her and it has always historically helped me.  Each time both she and I grow more. Just during this go around with her I went from debating giving up on my dream of becoming a nurse to becoming an EMT, going back to college, and getting accepted to nursing school.

I feel like this is the best move for me, that it’ll help me feel like I can share this girl more, interact with more people, and see where things go with her. So thank you guys for being apart of this go around with my girl, It’ll be about a week but she and I will be back.
