...tbh I think there's very few "high quality" creepypastas :,D that doesn't mean I don't love them!! (if that wasn't obvious by now lol—I love jeff the killer and cupcakes and most others!) BUT. but. I can't confidently recommend creepypastas to most people haha

kiss me kate is a very sexist musical. like many things in this world are sexist but kiss me kate (at least the movie, which is one of the the most accessible versions) is so sexist it actively cuts into the enjoyment of the show, which is a shame! the sexism is baked into the premise (it's based off the damn taming of the shrew no less) so this is understandable.

however!! there was a good MONTH last year where i COMPLETELY forgot about this and deluded myself into thinking i loved kiss me kate (i do still enjoy it, it's just not a show i Love) and it was entirely because of the below trailer for the 2019 staging. i cannot emphasize HOW WELL this trailer is edited. someone get a tony for the people who put this video together specifically. it's so good. it's good enough that it actively restarted my love for musicals and is the reason why i spent a month like "yeah, kiss me kate, great show! can't wait to rewatch the movie when i have time"

Truly fascinating that as far as I've seen there are basically no negative comments about Talisien as Ashton doing a lot of the talking in these early episodes despite him having a negative on Charisma but when Marisha (and less but still noticeably Laura) did the same with I think their 0-1+ on it in the second campaign there was at least one comment about it pretty high up criticising them on "talking"

When the men do it it's "good rp" but the women it's them "not knowing when to shut up" noted 🙄🙄

(Also fyi i think it's great rp from all of them - it makes total sense Ashton would take lead there! He knows the town plus there is a reason he has so many people that hate him - clearly not keeping his mouth shut is very much part of his personality 🤣)
