For your consideration: He's essentially the sole ruler of a completely autonomous country, who constantly beats even his own subordinates (and has been known to turn some of them into cubes).

He canonically hates detectives and anyone sniffing around his business, so much so that no one living under him wants to associate with detectives because it might make them look bad.

I think he would start salivating at the thought of becoming the god of a new world.

Yo, am I the only one who was jump-scared by Takumi's voice in the dub? It wasn't bad; I just wasn't prepared for how deep it sounded. I expected his voice to be more of a Hajime Hinata tone not a Yomi Hellsmile if he was normal.

This is funny in the sense that everyone joked about Takumi being his son.

HES SUCH A LITTLE CUTIE. I dont think many people know him but hes so wonderful. Hes 4'11, bathes three times a day and spends thirty minutes picking out masks! Rides around in balloons and expensive sports cars (despite not having a liscense), and hes just a silly little fella. Babygirl indeed.

I got Master Detective Archives: RAINCODE a few weeks ago, and I'm going through it. The code for the digital novel that came with the game was already used, though. DX

Might have noticed a possible Clock Tower reference. The second case has a murder at a clock tower, and a character who appears in that chapter, Seth Burroughs, has the same last name as several characters from that series(also called 'Barrows'). Could be a coincidence, but if not, that's a neat reference to make.

vivia is always laying around somewhere with a book in his hands

and before he started dating you, he was always lying there alone

but now that the two of you started dating, it wasn't uncommon for you to slip into his arms and cuddle with him, no matter where he was right now

often times, the two of you were laying in some odd spots together, like in an empty fireplace, in a small storage room or inside a closet

and those spots were always so dark and cramped, that you'd eventually end up falling asleep there, cuddled up against each other

it wasn't your intention at first, but it slowly started to become a habit for the two of you

so much so, that vivia wouldn't even bring a book along with him, since he knew he wouldn't be reading there anyways

he was content with just lying there with you and holding you in his arms until the two of you fell asleep together

(spoilers) These are spoilers BUTTT he gaslighted the entire world into getting him food for his fellow homunculi, gatekeeped an entire town from the rest of the world, and he's a CEO who wears a purple suit and shoes specifically made to make him taller, those are girlboss vibes I'm pretty sure. He also sits like a bisexual with adhd I don't know if that's important or not

This DLC was great! I just got finished with it twice over

A few things I liked:

Desuhiko was waaay more tolerable here, jfc. He really works off of Fubuki nicely, he's not absolutely hopeless with her either unlike a certain cat burglar...

Halara stepping in like this, after confirming what was up with the fortune teller. Of course there was no leaving the case alone for them, it's also personal. Scamming is personal

Fubuki is quite intuitive when it comes to deducing, if she's just given the jumping-off point to work from- like by Halara. We see in the Labyrinth with her when she's spiting Shinigami, Shinigami's hassling is basically her prompting. This feels like a bit of neurodivergent behaviour besides her forgetting things- Fubuki is 'spacey' but when given a direction, she can 'click' just fine

The friggin die!! You can see it if you're focusing on it on the rerun, but in my first go I didn't see it at all. Just like Fubuki. Well played

As for Fubuki, since we're supposed to experience what she did, it makes sense we shouldn't see the planning because we would remember it otherwise. Is it just me then- Halara seemed as if they had noticed this and was being patient with her possibly forgetting a bit - or all - of the plan. It was mainly for Halara and Desuhiko anyway, since he had a bulk of it to do behind the scenes, while Halara could guide Fubuki in the moment

...side note: impressive how he managed to get to the hospital, gain visitation to the victim and got a good look at him. Unless it was just the latter part from a photo, idk.

Anyway I am loving this group dynamic!?
