Reached a point in Switchcraft where I don't care about unlocking more episodes of the visual novel anymore; I'm just there for the match-3 in my down time.

Maybe I'm just middle-aged, but "Enact the terrible plan" describes half of Bailey's actions in the story. I do not find the protagonist relatable and even struggle to find her likeable at times. I know she's a gung-ho young adult in college getting up to shenanigans that are also wrapped up in magical government conspiracies, but I am too tired for that silliness. There are not enough story options that make her just think before she acts for once.

Kind of a shame because the character designs and general art style are distinct, and the balance of grind and story progression feels better, less money-grabby than other mobile games. But I just don't see myself spending any of those 340+ crystals to unlock more story chapters anytime soon.

Also, fuck those move-eating ghosts.
