“Why don’t you give me anniversary gifts?” Demetri asked crossing his arms together and giving his boyfriend an eye roll. “Probably because you force me to celebrate all our first. First kiss, first time holding hands in public, hell you even celebrate our first time seeing each other as a couple.” Hawk shot back. Before Demetri could shoot back a comeback, the young clerk came back with a box of nicely arranged bracelets. She pointed to one specifically. “This one has top of the line 18k white gold bracelet, surrounded by 60 Pavé Diamonds, for a extra fee we’re willing to give you a chance to engrave anything you want into it. It’s can be your anniversary date, a quote, a name, anything of the natural.” Holy shit. Miguel only understands a quarter of what she said but the bracelet itself was definitely worth the listen.

“What’s the price?” He asked still memorized by the gorgeousness of the bracelet itself. “Well, right now this one-of-a-kind bracelet is sitting at about 899$ but with the engraving, it could bounce up to about 950$. However plus tax and if you want our insurance plan that’ll all equal up to roughly 1,238$.” She finished. Miguel let out a modified laugh. That’s more than his paycheck in two months. “Can we look for a cheaper option?” Miguel smiled. “And by cheaper he means a LOT more.” Hawk chipped in which sent a smack on the back of his head by Demetri.

That’s when he saw it. A necklace with a cute bear charm attached to it. The exact stuffed animal he won you on your first date. “How about that.” He pointed. “That is indeed on our cheaper side. 210$ with engravings it’ll be 260$.” Miguel gave the clerk a huge smile. That was perfect and in his price range. “I’ll take it, with engravings also.”

“Jaime?” you murmured. Calling his name but no response. You went to sleep while Jaime was showering. You turned over, staring at his bare skin on his back. The dark covered your flustered and scarab impaled on his back was mildly glowing. You sit up and looked over at Jaime.

“Jaimee? Sweetie, y’awake?” No response. Jaime was out cold and snoring loud. You got up to grab water and melatonin for your sleep. Walking to the kitchen counter, you thought you felt something behind you. You jumped, took the supplement, and ran back to the room and leaped back to bed.

Staring outside your door was a black figure and you rapidly started blinking. The figure was gone but you were scared shitless. Forgetting Kaji-da was on Jaime’s back, you screamed when you saw the scarab attached on his back. Kaji-da started the glow even more, growling at you for waking it.

“Woah, woah! Bug! You-I-Please don’t do anything. It’s me!” You quickly covered your shivering body with the blanket and leid back down. Kaji-da was silent and its glow went down. You wrapped your cold arm around his waist. He jolted up but he still wasn’t awake. Slowly, you clanged the rest of your body on to his back.

You shift your position to face his neck. “Aren’t you such a sleep beauty…you’re so lucky that you don’t have trouble sleeping Jaime.” You groaned. You trailed your fingers through his hair and started playing with it. “I don’t say this much but I love you a lot…You probably know that but I don’t think you know how MUCH I love you, Jaime Reyes”. You leaned in, kissing his neck, and slowly going down with kisses until you meet the scarab.

You gently tapped on the scarab and kissed it on the head. You whispered gently, “Thank you for protecting him. I don’t know what he or I would do without you.” It blinked its lights two times, letting you know that it acknowledges what you said. You smiled, wrapped you arms around Jaime’s arms, and closed your eyes.

“Good night…To the both of you”

Plot: Miguel Diaz x male reader where they go on the first date a golf and stuff. Request by @tjoscar28

You’ve been slightly stressing in your room waiting for your crush to pick you up. Your real first date. Miguel, your best friend for a while now has just asked you out and of course you said yes.

Just as you pasted back and forth you heard a notification come from your phone. You ran over to it immediately and saw Miguel’s name pop and saying he was outside. Grabbing your things, you walked out of your room.

You hear a knock at your front door and you got there just in time to open it. Miguel stood in a casual outfit with flowers in his hands, he had a nervous look on his face. But as soon as he saw you it just started to more flustered and red.

“Woah, you look great- Not saying you don’t everyday, but I mean something about today makes you even more handsome” You laughed at the panic in his voice, he was just too cute.

“I got these for you, I don’t know if you like them but I thought it was a nice thing to do” He pushed the flowers towards you. Taking the flowers out of his hands and you gave him a smile.

“Thank you, Miguel. Your so sweet, and handsome too” you stepped back and put the flowers on the side table close to the door. Once you where done you looked back up at him. “Ready to go?” He quickly nodded and walked you down to his car- His moms but she was letting him use it.

“I’m so going to kick your ass” You say with confidence as the both of you walk up to the entrance of gold n stuff. Miguel gives you a look and rolled his eyes.

“You can’t beat me, I’m a champion” You laughed at him. “The champion of karate, not golf. That’s is my kingdom sir” You smirked and he returned the same look.

“Want a bet? If I win more things then you then…You have to call me the champion of every, and have to say you’re a sore loser” Now he was talking your language, bets are your thing and you aren’t a loser.

“You’re on” you shook hands and something about even the slightest touch made both of you blush and heart’s skip a beat. But you both wanted to impress the other so it was going to be a fight to the death.

Miguel took a shot at the ball and it went to the side a few inches away from the hole. You cheered a he sighed, “Still want that bet, Miguel” You looked at your golf ball and to the hole, turning to figure out how you can do it.

“Not a chance. You sure you can make it? I mean the way your standing” Miguel teased and it got to you slightly. How were you standing? You give him the side eye.

“How am I standing?” Miguel only shrugged his shoulders and put his hands up. “Don’t let me get into your head, I mean if you’re as good as you say you are then it shouldn’t bother you” You looked back at your golf ball and you could definitely tell he was smirking.

This was the last goal to get, it was a tie at the moment and since he misses it was your chance. So you took a swing and hit the ball with your club and shot, it went straight. You both watched as it slowed down when it was getting closer to the hole, then it slowly feel into it.

“Lets fucking go!” You cheered and you realized there where other people around you, now staring at you. You muttered a small sorry and gave them a smile.

“It’s not over yet” you turned back to Miguel who he still had some confidence. “What do you mean? I just kicked your ass” your arms crosses themselves as you glared at him. You won fair and square, he was just trying to find a way to beat you.

“We still have the arcade games” A groan expects your mouth as you see him only smirk harder. “We never agreed to it” you point that out and he only tilts his head to the side and opens is arms for you to pass him out of the exit.

“But we never, not agreed to it” He gives you a slight smile and you couldn’t really say no to him. He was really cute and it’s just another way to kick his ass again.

“You’re insufferable, Miguel Diaz” He only smiled harder and rolled his eyes. “If I wasn’t, you wouldn’t be so into me” Your cheeks heat up, and you pushed passed him and walked into the arcade.

“Shit, shit, shit” You slightly screamed as Miguel’s character started to shoot you in the game. You’ve almost won only this time, Miguel has one point above you. This was your chance to tie the points and not lose.

You wanted to win so badly, if you won you could ask him for a kiss and that’s why you wanted it so bad. Because then you would be to embarrassed to ask o your own.

“You’re out in the open, y/n. At least make this hard for me” Miguel said from the other side of the machine, you pressed the controls to ducked behind something at sat there for a minute.

You healed your character and wondered what you should do next, he was for sure just waiting for a head shoot. The only thing you could see was the back of what you ducked behind so the rest was not into view.

If you weren’t ducked you could see Miguel’s character sneak closer to you, he felt slightly bad but it was to win. You finally went to move but you watched as red covers the side of the screen and your character fall.

You’ve lost.

“No!” You slammed your hands on the controller deck and hung your head down as you groaned. The game restarted and you could hear the tickets dispenser on the other side start up.

Only took a minute for Miguel to get every ticket from the machine and come over to you. “I hate to say but that means I win” You could hear the smugness in his voice, the look on his face was twice as that.

“Rematch?” You asked in defeat and you knew it wasn’t going to happen. “As much as I would love to kick your ass again, I have to take you home. It’s almost 12” You looked at your phone, you didn’t realize it’s been that long.

“I hope you plan to use all those tickets for something good” you grabbed you bag of your tickets and walked with him. He only smiled and walked with you. “I have something in mind” You give him a side eye, wondering what he could mean.

You made your way to the prize counter and everything caught your eyes. You looked at the spider rings and then to the small toys, slowly making your way up the shelf’s on the wall.

Miguel watches as you found a stuffed animal bear, the way your eyes lit up he was now sure on what he was going to do with his tickets. You looked at the cashier and give her your tickets to count.

When the ticket reader was done it read ‘350’ and you you sighed. “Damn” You really wanted that bear. Then Miguel spoke up, “How much adding my tickets” He gave his tickets and waited.

You looked around for anything else you wanted but nothing caught your eye like the bear. It was fluffy and looks so soft, three feet at least. Maybe you could get a small gift for Miguel.

“800 total” Your head snapped back up to the employee. That was the exact amount to get your bear. Shit. You turned to Miguel and smiled. “Only one hundred more then me, what do are you thinking of getting” Miguel just shrugged.

“What do you want?” You glanced and the bear but shrugged. “A million spider rings” You hit his shoulders with yours as you two laughed quietly.

“So, what can I get you?” The woman asked the two of you and as you went to answer, Miguel beat you to it. “The bear up there, the black and white one” You looked at him in surprise.

“What are you doing? I didn’t take you for a stuffed animal kind of guy” You really hoped it was for you. “It’s calling to you, y/n.” He was handed the bear and he turned it to you and moved its arms.

“You saved me, y/n. Thank you, the other stuffies bullied me.” He said is a fake voice and your laughs only made him smile more. Hearing you laugh and that smile made everything worth it.

“I think, Miguel saved you” you looked right into his eyes. “He’s a really good guy” you both stood there staring into each other’s eyes and butterflies filled your stomachs.

“If you’re done we have a line” the employee said and broke you guys apart. There was a few people behind you waiting so you left. You both made your way out to the parking lot and took off.

When you finally got home, Miguel opened the door for you. “Your house awaits, my prince” you put your head up high and stood with a proud face. The bear leaning over the side of you as you held it in your arms.

“Thank you, good sir. I have had the most splendid time” you said in a fancy voice. You both laughed but as soon as you stop, both of your eyes met.

“I really did have a good time I think, Sir Snuggles The Third also thanks you” You smiled at him and step a little closer to him. And he got a little nervous and a slight blush appeared on his cheeks.

“Maybe next time we can go to the movies-I mean assuming there is a next time. You just are so amazing and I-“ you stopped his rambling by kissing his cheek.

“I would love to go on another date with you” Your heart beat up as you stayed close to his face. You could feel his breath slightly hit your face and he was looking at you with questions.

You looked into his eyes and gave him a sign that it was okay to kiss you, and that’s exactly what he did. A hand found it’s way to your waist and brought you closer to him as he connect your lips.

A small breath left both of your lips as you continue to kiss and hold each other close. The way your heart was beating, if they beated any harder they would fly out of your chest.

You finally both pulled away and opens your eyes slowly. “And I hope we can do that again” he perked up at that and nodded quickly, he would do anything for your kiss again.

“Yeah, definitely should do that again”
