Milo May Day 1: Introvert Milo

Transcript: I don't know what's going on here. I've never been here. Even when it was the old place. I have no idea. I live down in Venice Beach. I stay pretty much out of the scene, so... I'm a little bashful with all this stuff right now. Literally, a friend of mine was like hey, um, I'm at this place and I was supposed to be at the other place, and that place was kind of like, ehhhh. A little mellow. And he was like come to this other place and I was like alright. So I was literally like okay cool. Now I'm over here and there's like, cameras and backdrops. I don't even know what's going on. *chomps gum* No one's excited to see me. I like having a place to sit...usually. So hopefully it's like nice and cushy and quiet inside but I doubt I'm gonna find that so. My beverage of choice? Eh, a cranberry juice? Yeah, I quit drinking when I was my early 20's. I know, what a buzzkill this guy is. Doesn't like the clubs, doesn't know what the fuck is going on out here and he's actually not a drinker so... (on Heroes) It's nice to be a part of something people are washing and I hope it goes the distance.

- when the shaw pack gets together they do the family gathering thing of making the kids have a dance competition for money

- angel doesn't know how to commute (public transportation) and david would have to come along with them on a jeep to help them learn

- i can't imagine guy being filipino no matter what i do. however, i think honey is for sure filo (projecting) and they wld have a complete filo friend group  . honey wld still have that gruff exterior but their walls r down, and their friends would joke that honey and guy r the "nonchalant x oa" pairing and guy wld have NO clue what they're all talkin abt.

(oa: over acting, usually used negatively to call someone dramatic, but with the "nonchalant x oa" it's kinda similar to the introvert x extrovert trope)

- when honey brings guy along to hang out w/ their filo friends, he just looks at them mesmerized 90% of the time they're all talking . afterwards, when they ask abt it, guy says that honey is way more expressive when they speak in filipino and he thinks its rlly cute (IDK. I FEEL THIS ONE IN MY BONES .)

- i also have a hc that honey likes to draw so . stem strand/course to art course pipeline baby (many filipinos can relate🔥🔥🔥)

general idea / kinda just a joke but honestly it'd be so hard to allude to being a vamp in the philippines .

I enjoy the wide range of different sibling relationships the series portrays.

Sokka and Katara both having to raise each other after the Fire Nation robbed them of both their parents in different ways so always trying to be so protective of the other and simultaneously take the role of responsible parent and playful sibling like they're each both Nani and Lilo at the same time,

Azula and Zuko both being abused and pitted against each other for traditions' sake, and neither being a good sibling to each other and ultimately being powerless to help the other from the same person who was abusing them anyway but still having that complicated mix of love and resentment and blame for each other (And yet somehow being the Fire Nation Royalty siblings with the best shot at eventually making something work, compared to Sozin/Zeisan, Ozai/Iroh, etc)

Rafa and Misu on their lifelong journey to get Rafa's face back desperate to speak to each other again,

Maliq and Malina being awful and annoying and I hate them,

Tarrlok and Noatok being ultimately doomed in the end even though they genuinely tried to go against their father for each other's sake and at least deciding they wanted to die together to bring an end to all this,

Desna and Eska being uncomfortably close to each other to the point of codependency because they're all the other has when it's very clear that their father very clearly couldn't care less about either of them,

Mai and Tom-Tom having a big difference in age so Mai being in a position to help protect Tom-Tom from what their father is trying to turn him into,

Ikki, Meelo, and Jinora just getting to be silly siblings at each other with the normal sibling squabbles and antics together,

Ty Lee cutting ties with her siblings and never wanting to look back, only for her sisters to come searching for her and all of them ending up in the same circus, leaving them at square one of struggling to find their individuality outside of a matched set and fighting over feeling like they can't be themselves without the others stealing that from them, but still caring about each other and saving Ty Lee,

Tonraq and Unalaq just being completely unsalvageable and having no fondness between them to be found and not really wishing there was anyway

Finally. At long fucking last. I've drawn my 2nd top pick in the Redactedverse. He's technically the first person I ever tried to draw, but now I have a sketch I actually love.

LIIIIIIIIKE only like 3 people have seen the first/earlier iterations of my Milo design, but this— this feels like him. And I'm so fucking happy with it now. /pos

[Quick Stats (for my headcanon)]

-5'5" (Shortest of the pack minus Angel)

-Afro-Latino (Specifically Dominican)

-Always has some sort of chain, not negotiable. In his base canon design, it's this name chain. In other iterations, the chain takes different forms. (And yes. It stays on. You know what I mean.)

-As per my headcanon that all the pack has at least one scar on their face, his is across his left eyebrow.

-The body hair and the freckles were a must-have, they just make sense to give him in my mind /pos

-Despite "canon", I think his design meshes amazing with Maia's (aka my "Darlin" / Part of Moonlit Chains, my default ship if Milo or Darlin is involved)

lqg is, HANDS DOWN, my favorite character of all time. which might seem so silly because he technically is just a side character that was originally intended to be pure cannon fodder BUT IDGAF!!!!! aside from the fact that he’s just beautiful, pretty, funny, talented, strong, gorgeous, stunning, powerful, ,, he also has one of the most loyal and most especially DEVOTED personalities i’ve ever seen, in fantasy or in real life. he is so fiercely loyal to the extent of battling WHAT IS ESSENTIALLY A MF INVINCIBLE DEMON EMPEROR every!!! single!! day!!!! FOR YEARS!!!!!! he is literally the best and no one can change my mind. TRY to find that level of dedication and honor in ANYONE else JUST TRY!!!! sobs I need him to have everything he's ever wanted, and expeditiously. i need him. god. pleasd
