Pro tip: if you like Minecraft but you're fed up with modern Minecraft, play better then adventure. Its pre adventure update (so pre beta 1.8) minecraft with additions and a couple things backported. I've been playing it like. Nonstop for the past few days. It's a lot of fun.

It's definitely more of a survival game, though. You have to change how you play from modern Minecraft almost entirely, and if you've never played pre-adventure update it'll definitely be something to get used to. But it's 100% worth it.

Also instead of enchanting each armor/tool class has its own specialty and/or unique effect, which is nice. Like, leather armor gives you a speed boost and specializes in fall protection. Diamond tools have efficiency. Gold armor is an all-rounder defensewise and really good but still super fragile. Steel (netherite analog, but not as OP and less annoying to get) has super high durability).

I had to update my beta minecraft world to 1.0 because endermen kept taking my buildings and trees apart but it feels so wrong to have updated a beta world to a standard version

video game companies really think hyperreality somehow makes games better… it does not! it just makes them hyper realistic lol and it sure doesn’t make my console feel any better either… instead of putting hours of effort into making a character’s arm hair look realistic how about u put some effort into something that matters like idk the plot maybe

jus got reminded by the new minecraft update trailer that i would really like it if minecraft went back to small updates in between big ones; not every new 1.whatever has to be a massive update; they can jus be tweaks or adding in the shit they SAID theyd add like loosing biomes from the biome votes or mobs n shit
