I suppose I should introduce myself since I think i'm going to try and make this my new main platform :3

I'm a digital artist who edits photos and makes surrealist art and pixel art. I also am working on a huge Minecraft map (still untitled) that I may post updates on occasionally. I also make things in and for Minecraft. I've attached a bunch of my Minecraft stuff here.

This account will mainly be used to make and share Minecraft-related stuff - I think I'll make another thing for my normal art.

The Kingdom of Mossland

KoM 2-3 | The Explorers Guild

After tearing down the borders of the city, I set my sights on the Kingdom's Guilds. I never really got around to fully fleshing these out, but I always planned on having several guilds with their own impressive guild headquarters and nerd lore. As you can see above, I did not accomplish the impressive guild headquarters goal. So, I fixed that. Introducing The Explorers Guild V.2.

I am trying something new by including image descriptions so hopefully I don't have to explain as much in the post itself. The new Explorers Guild is the first building made in the expanded areas of the city, and this is exactly why I made those expansions. Look at how big the building is! I had so much room to plan and create! This was one of the most enjoyable builds I have done in the project in a long time.

Time for some Nerd Lore. The Explorers Guild is one of the most respected institutions in the Kingdom. Members of the guild have travelled all over the world, making maps, discovering ruins, and digging up lost artifacts and fossils. At the end of their adventures, they come back here to store their finds, share their stories, and plan their next expedition.

Gaining entry to the Guild is not difficult as the Guild believes that the wonder of exploration and discovery should not be limited to the wealthy and powerful. They even host field trips for the common citizen to sign up for to see some of the safer wonders of the world.

Some of the most important members of the Guild are the donkeys. Each donkey goes through an extensive training program and upon completion, they are given full membership status to the Guild, along with all of it's privileges, and are the only members who live at the Guild Headquarters. Choosing which donkeys will be brought along on an expedition is a serious thing, and some expeditions have even been called off when certain donkeys are not available.

My favorite part of the build has to be the map room at the top of the tower. By making such a large guild hall, I had enough space to map out the whole Kingdom. I did go around and use banners to make labeled waypoints on the map, but they are too small to see in this picture. I have always loved making maps, and not just in Minecraft. In fact this whole build was inspired from a love of adventure, discovery, and the Age of Exploration. I am very happy with how this build turned out and as of now, I plan to upgrade the Engineers Guild next and give the city a very nice new clocktower.

If that BuildTheEarth Minecraft map project ever gets finished, I hope you will be able to make your own edits of it. Imagine edits that turn maps into their fictional counterparts, like a map that recreates the Fallout America map in minecraft accurately, or a map that recreates the map of the Half-Life/Portal universe accurately, that would be so cool.

Big Announcement

Sorry if I haven't been posting as much in the recent days! I've just been working on a little side project. Just a tiny little sidetrack. Just a miniscule little extra task I wanted to do. Just uh... Just... just... just...

I'm Re-Creating Undertale in Minecraft with DogeCreations & The French Squid! And I just wanted to show some of the things i've been working on! This is my work-in-progress build of Alphy's Lab!

Still working on some things like the side window that lets you see gears and gizmos. This is the front of it so far. I wanted to give it a burned look and i'm so happy with how it has turned out!

There's still alot of work to be done here. The back and the other side are pretty much just a blank wall with just a rough idea of what I want to do. But i'm still thrilled with the progress so far!

I often sketch things before I build them just to plan them out a bit. Some things have stayed true to the original sketch, Others are no longer there. The dome for example was just too much and changed the building too much from its original concept.

New tenement blocks have been added, primarily around 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Lexington Avenue and 8th, 9th, 10th Avenue.

3x6 in size, they were granted by the city of Minehattan to anyone who didn't have funds to build their own house. People could secretly expand their house, by demolishing interior walls between their and their neighbours house, but this practice was strongly punished up until 1940s. So if city official found out you and your neighbour expanded your house(es), you both could end up homeless from the amount of debt amassed from fines.

*No, I'm not replacing 270 Park Avenue. They should have just build a new building on the small annex behind the 270 Park tower instead of just demolishing the entire building. **My blog is primarily furry stuff but I also do a lot of builds in Minecraft. DQ Project Update

I am still working on my Minecraft DQ1 Overworld Remake. I just lost motivation for it mostly for the past few months. Here's my current progress on the terrain with worldpainter though:

Just finished up making Charlock Isle yesterday. The forests, and biomes didn't show up when i exported this image though (Open this image in another tab, it's larger than you think!). This world's chronologically takes place in-between dq3 and dq1, so certain things will be changed accordingly. Here's a small list of changes, and new locations so far:

Damdara:

The town has just been laid to ruin so there's still burning bits and loot from the shops left. Based off the dq3 version.

Mercado ruins:

These ruins are located a little to the north of Cantlin. Uses Cantlin's other localized name.

Tower of Rubiss:

Hasn't deteriorated into the shrine of rain yet, but still has the shrine in its basement.

The Tallest Tower:

A dungeon from DQ7 that i added because i wanted to. An elytra will be found at the top.

Tomb of Erdrick:

Added a small ruined village above it.

Galenholm, and Tomb of Galen:

Tomb of Galen now has it's own separate shrine above ground. Just being some stairs hidden in the back looked silly to me.

Radatome:

The town portion of Tantagel. Again, named after the other localized name.

Tantagel Castle:

Still need to build it.

Ideas for other builds, or additions are greatly appreciated. I want to try to add lots of stuff to explore to this world, and currently don't have very much to show for it. Recreating this overworld at this scale will take a lot of time, and my motivation to do so fluctuates with my adhd. Patience with my lack of updates will be greatly appreciated.

Can I ask what the map in your pinned post is for? Because it looks really cool, and I would love to know the story behind it!

So for as long as I can remember, I've had an idea of making a comic/show of superheroes but I've struggled to think of how I want theory world to look like.

Originally, I wanted it to be based on regular Earth bit after watching a show called RWBY it inspired me to make my own 'Earth', which I'm calling WhiteMist!

Then, after watching Shovel241's videos, I was further inspired to build the world I've imagined for so long!
