A comprehensive guide to my mindset when I play Minecraft:
Dig holes in the ground overnight to hide from the mobs. I cannot fight at all, and this is the only strategy I have.
If I ever get lost (which is very often), I am not able to use the environment to find my way around. My only option is to not dig a hole at night and hope I remember anything about where I respawn.
There is nothing intuitive about crafting recipes to me. I can make crafting tables and glass. Guess what I build my houses out of. Guess.
I saw someone say that enderpearls are "really good in the early game". Absolutely hilarious. My "early game" is three years in the making, and I don't even know what diamonds look like in-game.
Message my friends about the progress I'm making! I got a lot of cheers when I played for like twenty hours over the course of the week to find iron.
(I was actively looking for Iron the whole time.)
What the heck is an enchantment?
There are chests everywhere full of junk that I'm sure will be useful later. As long as I remember it's there. Which I won't.
Punching fish may not be effective but it sure is fun
I can't fight any mobs, but I have never won against a spider. If I see a spider, I either run or perish.
I like to look up inspiration online by seeing what other people build! It's always way out of my skill range, and I never will actually be able to imitate it, but it sure looks nice, doesn't it?
Google "where do I find x?" because I only know the location of dirt, and then I do not understand the coordinates system thing that's happening when I find the answers.
Marvel at the squid(?) creatures. Man, they sure know how to swim.
I never know where I am.
What even is the End? I went to the Nether once I think, but I'm pretty sure y'all are messing with me about the End.
If I see coal, I am filled with the sudden need for torches. It does not matter how many I have, I can always have more.
Marvel at the beauty of the pigs.
Half of my inventory is pickaxes. Just in case I get stuck in another cave.
So. Biomes, amIright?
I think I'm being lied to about redstone there is no way that is real
#minecraft#mineblr#the three years is not consecutive btw. i do not play constantly and still suck#i play constantly for a week and then forget about it until a new season of hermitcraft. rinse repeat#to everyone who is just so bad at minecraft but loves it anyways: i see you. i don't understand how roofs work.

My sister wanted to see the minecraft movie for her birthday this year (she turned 17) so here are some actual real things that happened in the movie (There are spoliers)
The main villain's backstory is that she danced in the minecraft version of America's Got Talent and got bullied so hard for her dancing that she decided that all creatively is bad
A baby piglin draws a picture and the villian kills him for it
Anytime a piglin is killed it turns into a cooked porkchop. A lot of piglins die
At the end of the movie one very large piglin dies and we watch the light fade out of its eyes
Jason Momoa's character is named Garrett The Garbage Man. He is in fact not a garbage man and works at his own video game store. He got the nickname "Garbage Man" for being the world champion at an arcade game when he was a teenager in the 80s
Several minecraft youtubers get cameos but none of them have any lines (DanTDM is wearing a cowboy hat)
Jason Momoa's and Jack Black's characters are basically flirting for the entire film. I am not making this up
There is a scene where the guys have to fly on elytras. Jack Black does not have one and instead RIDES JASON MOMOA. When Jason Momoa's character complains about not being able to steer like this Jack Black says "Let my hips guide you." (my sister and I both lost our shit when he said this)
Jason Momoa and Jack Black 69 on the elytra (I could not make this up if I tried)
Halfway through the film Jack Black starts calling Jason Momoa's character GarGar
Jason Momoa and Jack Black wear mushroom hats and both play saxophones to distract a group of Vindicators
If you look into an enderman's eyes it inflicts psychic attacks where you see everyone you love saying how disappointed they are in you. After the psychic attack the enderman does actually physically attack you
There's a piglin who tells the characters that he has to "unalive" them
There's a sideplot where Jennifer Coolidge hits a villager with her car and the two of them fall in love. At the end of the movie it is revealed that their love is so powerful that the villager can now speak English and Jennifer Coolidge can speak Villager. The two of them get engaged.
"First we mine. Then we craft. Let's Minecraft!" (An actual real line said in this movie in complete seriousness)
All of the human characters are referred to as "Roundlings" by the Piglin villain
A ghast swallows a baby piglin and then blows up and dies
As the main villain is dying she asks Jack Black to come closer to her. When he does she pulls out a knife that Jack Black immediately slaps out of her hand. Jack Black starts to walk again and then this whole gag happens a second time
The same gag is attempted a third time but Jack Black walks away for real so the villian weakly throws the knife and then just slumps over and dies
Jack Black sings a sad song about his dog (the dog is fine)
In the post credits scene Jack Black (Steve) meets Alex
These aren't plot points as much as other thoughts I had
The diamond armor that Jack Black wears is so ugly. Like it's so bad.
Almost all of the "minecraft" items the characters use just look really fake
There are several scenes where Jack Black is talking and you can see the spit fly out of his mouth
All of Jack Black's original songs feel very out of place and really aren't needed
The female characters are sidelined for pretty much the entire movie. The focus is entirely on the male characters. -_-
This movie was an absolute trip. My sister and I kept turning to each other and asking what the fuck was happening because the whole thing was just wild.
We both kept laughing but half of the time it was because whatever was happening was so bad it looped back around to being funny. None of the serious bits in this movie worked.
#radiostatic.txt#minecraft movie#a minecraft movie#minecraft movie spoilers#<<idk if anyone actually cares about that but it's tagged anyway#this movie was really bad but I did enjoy it a lot more than I though I would.#if I watched it a second time I highly doubt I would enjoy it as much#because a lot of my enjoyment did come from being like... what the actual fuck is going on here#anyways.

[MINECRAFT AU]
ISLANDERS : THE SEVEN RULING VILLAGER CLANS
—————————————
CLAN #01 : PLAINS
The common folk of the Grassland Plains Biome. They're a simple people, probably the most common and well-known villagers you'll encounter while exploring Caeloria. They have harvest festivals, public gatherings in central markets, and tell stories around the campfire. Their economy is made up of skilled farmers, traders, and builders. They produce and export grains, livestock, and crafted goods which vary on the profession. They rely on Iron Titans and rudimentary fortifications but distrust weapons (although some villagers like blacksmiths do create weapons for trading with people more open to violence.) Their villages are made up of homes with the timber-framed architecture style, wooden roofs, and are usually surrounded by small farms.
CLAN #02 : DESERT
The inhabitants of the Desert Biomes. They are not as simple as the Plainsmen, and their culture is more focused on keeping a holy life, alongside securing a safe trip into the Afterlife. They do daily prayers to honor the sun, moon, and the passage of time itself, alongside intricate funeral ceremonies and rituals to ensure safe passage into the Afterlife. Their economy is famous for their trade caravans, glasswork, pottery, and exotic spices. While they also have Iron Titans, they use dynamite traps to protect their sacred temples and religious sanctuaries. The villages are made up of Sandstone, with domed roofs to regulate temperature, often built around oases and river beds.
CLAN #03 : JUNGLE
The hunters that reside within jungle biomes. Unlike most villager clans, they're a militaristic civilization, focused mainly on hunting. They have daily ritual dances at sunrise and sunset, large hunting trips usually consisting of "packs", and a variety of face paint representing their roles in society, or, for a hunter; their achievements and rank in hunting. They're a people skilled in herbal medicine, dye-making, and the creation of weapons. Instead of living on the ground like most villagers, these hunters live in wooden treehouses interconnected by bridges to maintain high ground advantage during hunting. They use the vines of the trees to climb up and down. While they have their own variant of the Iron Titans, they also rely on boobie traps and ambushes from multiple packs as defense mechanisms.
CLAN #04 : SAVANNA
Savanna Villagers are the second most welcoming villagers of Caeloria, and similar to the Plains Villagers, they rely on community, tradition, and peace. The main thing that separates them from the Plainsmen is their belief in astrology. They believe that the stars guide their fate, and a lot of their traditions revolve around astrology. Stargazing ceremonies, seasonal festivals aligned with celestial events (basically just.. holidays) and storytelling under the stars. Their economy is constructed of skilled weavers and artisans, known for intricate carving, cloth-dyeing, and crafting of jewelry, usually having a celestial theme. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture that as much as I could with the designs, as the concept came after they were already done. They're also expert animal handlers, known for domesticating and breeding fast horses for both companionship and a good defense mechanism, aside from the Iron Titans, ofcourse. Their villages are usually made up of terracotta or mud blocks, shaped in the style of mud-and-tatch huts. I also like to think that in-game there would be a massive baobab tree in the center of the village, which would lead in an Iron Titan attack if it were destroyed by a player.
CLAN #05 : SWAMP
These guys are the black sheep of Villager society, even if per say the Jungle Clan's hunting traditions are questioned by the rest of village society, at least they keep their hunting trips tame! These guys are a full-on cult, the most controversial of the clans. Their traditions are rather questionable; they make blood sacrifices to some kind of "Spirit of The Swamp" some mystical natural energy they seem to try and appease. New members of the cult must craft their own ceremonial mask from the remains of a hunted beast, believed to bind them spiritually to the creature and grant them its strength. This is basically my in-universe reason for why certain things like skeleton heads, creeper heads, dragon heads, etc. can be collected. Maybe if this were a mod of some sorts you'd need some kind of mob skull to not get attacked while exploring the swamp? Idk. Every twenty years or so, a great hunt is held for a "cursed beast," often the last of a dying species, as they believe such creatures hold the most potent spiritual energy. We know the Sniffers are nearly extinct, maybe these villagers are related to that in some way. Hell, when we play the game, the Sniffer could be the beast they are out to hunt. Their economy is built on potion-making, fungus cultivation, and fishing. They lack Iron Titans for defense, instead relying on hunting and camouflage techniques, their houses themselves are designed to camouflage with the bog's trees. They're also oomfies with the Witches. With all this world-building done you'd be surprised to find out that these are actually my least favorite of the seven villager variants in-game.
CLAN #06 : TAIGA
Considering the last two yap-fests, I have a lot less to say about the Taiga Villagers. They're a people who value trust, loyalty, strategy, and honor. They live in communal spruce wood long houses, typically working inside. They tend to train inside, meditating and having communal prayers inside of huts, circling around the campfire. Some also go out and meditate in the cold to test their endurance during full moons, which doubles as an opportunity to hunt for resources. Their economy is built on their massive supply of wood, meat, natural herbal remedies, and leather skins. They have Iron Titans that protect them from wild animals and Pillagers. They're strong allies with the Plainsmen, alongside the Desert and Savanna Tribes. Their strongest ally, however...
CLAN #07 : TUNDRA
A group of small tribes that are master survivalists. They believe in community, honor, and strategy. They're the strongest ally to the Taiga Clan, and vice versa. They also don't mind trading with the Desert Clan. These cold and reserved people live within reinforced wooden cabins, often remaining inside at all times unless it is necessary to go out hunting. They trade seafood, wool, and rarer gems such as emeralds, gold, and even diamonds. They also trade large supplies of wood. That's all I really have to say about them!
And that's all seven Villager clans redesigned and expanded upon!! I hope they came out looking decent lmfao

Green Lanterns Play Minecraft - The First Day
Keli's the first one to try the game after one of her Young Justice friends mentions it to her. She gets Simon and Kyle to play with her, and they enjoy it enough that they decide to set up a dedicated server.
By some miracle they manage to get the whole gang online for the start of the server. Unfortunately the spawn point is an island with only a few trees and no other landmasses within sight. Keli tries to explain how to play the game but Hal and Guy immediately begin punching each other and the latter quickly becomes the first casualty of the server. Hal has only half a heart left though and immediately dies once Guy respawns.
Meanwhile, the others have finished punching trees and making basic stone tools to venture into the caves. John leaves behind a few logs and thus several blobs of floating leaves, which Kyle is unhappy about. The group are immediately attacked by skeletons from a nearby dungeon spawner, and are forced to retreat after Jo is killed.
Jessica doesn't want to go back underground, so Keli assigns her to farming duty and teaches her how to get seeds from punching grass. After respawning, Jo figured out how to make a boat from the crafting guide and decides to sail west. This is the last they see of her for a while.
Hal has figured out that gravity does not apply to blocks and has built the first "base" on the server: a big box of dirt, cobblestone, and wood floating above the island. He calls it the Watchtower. The others call it an abomination and beg him to tear it down to no avail.
John, Kyle, Guy, and Simon manage to gather enough coal to make torches and proceed to storm the skeleton spawner. Guy somehow manages to draw the aggro of all the skeletons and runs deeper into the caves, where he is eventually cornered and turned into a pincushion. This does however, give the others enough room to light up the spawner and gather the loot from the chests: a saddle (currently useless), two buckets (handed over to John), a music disc (left in the chest), and a singular potato (delivered to Jessica).
By this point, night has fallen over the world. Sadly, our heroes neglected to light up the island and Jessica is unhappy about more skeletons. She and Keli have taken shelter in a cobblestone box. Hal is smugly sitting in his horrible floating creation, until Kyle leads a creeper up the dirt staircase to it and blows them all up.
The island is a hotbed of chaos for the remainder of the night. No one has enough wool to make a bed. The boys all die several times over, while Jessica and Keli stay in their bunker. Jo, who is still lost somewhere at sea, is ironically the safest. By the time the sun rises, the island is pockmarked with creeper holes and Jessica's farm has been trampled.

i get the feeling the minecraft just wouldn’t be one of the games kenma would play/be interested in. it’s so much of an open world, aimless, and strategy-less game (not that there isn’t strategy involved, but not like a regular play-through or pvp game like mortal kombat or smth) that i think he just would not enjoy it very much. i could see him being a speedrunner or only someone who joins to help fight stuff but that’s ab it
okay I'll bite. I think you're absolutely right. I think Kenma is highly driven by the reward system of video games, skill trees and leveling up and quests and definable ways to prove you are winning and minecraft would probably bore him. And he probably wouldnt think much about it. Not all games are for him, and thats fine.
However, you know who would fucking love minecraft? Kuroo. Kuroo wouldnt even bother searching up guides or explanations. the sheer level of discovery and crafting and options available to him would keep him occupied for ages. Everything would be exciting for him. And then he gets to fight a fucking dragon at the end? Perfect
Anyway, I believe when Kuroo sends a text to Kenma that says "haha just beat minecraft!" Kenma would be so pissed. First off - he didnt know you could "beat" minecraft. Second - KUROO BEAT A VIDEO GAME BEFORE HE DID? What horrible alternate reality is this? And then Kenma would FEVERISHLY have to work through minecraft to beat it to prove that he could too. He'd blitz it in like a day and text Kuroo like "And??? So did I." but then Kuroo would be like "haha my favourite part is the redstone coding. It works pretty well, I made a ton of automated minecarts and built like a whole rollercoaster" and Kenma would be like "what the hell are you talking about?" because he only did what was 100% necessary and didnt play around.
Anyway I also fully believe that Daichi would absolutely love minecraft and he'd just fully commit to the survival aspect and have a big old farm and worry about making sure his cows have enough space and 100% I can imagine him and Kuroo logging on together with their stupid little headsets at like 11pm and then when Kuroo dies in the mines via surprise creeper Daichi's cackling laughter over the other ends says "this is why we beat you at nationals" and Kuroo considers learning how to punch people through the screen.
They invite Kenma online to play with them since Kenma officially knows how to play now and doesnt like being left out the ONE time Kuroo actually wants to play a video game instead of volleyball and he just keeps dying and now he has two idiots laughing at him.

the end?

"50 wordless ways to say I love you"
47. staying up half the night to finish a game with them. word count: 1431 author's note: this was really fun to write because i had to remember the steps to beating the ender dragon. (im not a gamer im sorry) (also since you guys aren't speedrunning you don't finish the game)

It’s 10 pm when you have the amazing idea to start a new minecraft world. When you propose the idea, Kyle laughs, not believing you to be serious at first. The two of you are all ready for bed, his hat discarded and curls loose. However, when you scoot to the end of your bed, turning on your console, he follows suit, sitting right beside you. (The both of you ignore the heat in your face as your legs brush against one another.)
“Minecraft is a game that Ike likes.” Kyle teases, as the familiar soundtrack fills your room.
“Shut up. You mentioned never beating it before. We conquer The End tonight.” You swiftly respond, one of your elbows reaching for Kyle’s ribs. He takes the hit, before recovering quickly, nudging you back into your original spot on the bed.
“The End?” Kyle asks, watching as you make the new world. He smiles a bit when you title it with the two of your initials. You’re cute, he thinks, allowing the thought to simmer before he tries to forget about it.
“It’s where the Ender Dragon lives. You’ll catch on, you’re smart.” You explain, handing him a controller. “You’re going to be the little guy on the bottom half of the screen.”
Kyle doesn’t mention how he’s used to focusing on the upper half, allowing you to teach him the strings. It’s not like he hasn’t played the game before, again it was one Ike enjoyed a lot when they were younger. Ike just never cared to do much other than terrorize villagers and pick flowers.
The game loads up, and the two of you are in a spruce biome. You’re quick to start chopping down wood, and Kyle simply follows in your footsteps. Kyle is impressed with how swift and efficient you are, getting enough wood to make a full set of wooden tools. When you ask for his wood, he has no hesitation in giving it to you, kindly thanking you as you craft his tools too.
“Wanna explore for a bit? We’ll need to go mining at some point but we don’t need to rush the game.” You explain, leaning closer to him. (Kyle doesn’t know if it’s subconscious or not, but he doesn’t move much after that, scared you’ll realize and drift away.)
Kyle’s character mostly follows your character around. You continue to mine at blocks vital to progressing the game — more wood, surface coal, cobblestone — as you guys escape the forest. Playing the game with you is much more relaxing, even if Kyle isn’t making much of the decisions. Not that he minds, really, as it is similar to how Ike would play. If anything, the only reason it’s so tolerable is because he’s playing with you.
The two of you find a village around 11, the hour of exploring feeling like minutes as the two of you wondered around. Kyle watches as you steal from their farms, their chests, and destroys their hay; he can’t feel pity for the villagers with their silly design. Notably, you share the loot with Kyle, not keeping all the nicer items for yourself. It’s almost second nature, to give him the iron pickaxe you found. Kyle leans in closer; you don’t move even as his shoulder brushes.
Before venturing into the mines, you suggest stealing two villagers beds to set your spawn point just incase one of you were to die. Two yellow beds are placed down together, in the middle of a plains biome. Kyle doesn’t comment on your deliberate placement of your bed next to his. He does have to pause to take a sip of his water, face on fire. (It’s just a video game. One he’s playing with you, one he’s enjoying despite the open world. He wonders if you are picking up on his internal struggles, or if you are too focused on the game.)
Hours pass, and the two of you have made more progress than Kyle ever has. You guide him through getting enough diamonds to craft a pickaxe in order to make a portal to the Nether; he wasn’t even aware of the other dimension until you explained it to him.
Despite being prone to raging whenever he dies in game, he doesn’t care when a blaze burns him to a crisp. He watches as your character gets his stuff — “it’ll despawn, I promise to give it back” — and hides in a corner, waiting for him to safely get back to you. He thinks of playing with his friends, who in comparison, would’ve kept his stuff joyfully, and smiles down at you.
You have to get enough blaze rods to get to The End — five, preferably. Once you have that you get to leave the dreaded dimension. As you enter the portal, you show your first signs of exhaustion, yawning and reaching up to rub at your eyes, and Kyle looks up to see it’s one in the morning.
“Hey it’s getting late. Do you want to head to bed?” Kyle’s voice is soft, peering down at you with such genuineness you can’t stare at him long.
“No, I’m okay. Let’s keep going. We still have to get ender pearls.” You mumble, voice clearly affected from your tired state.
Enderpearls come from Enderman, Kyle learns as the two of you wait for it to be night. In comparison to the five blaze rods, you need 12 eyes. Just in case, you’ll never know how many spots are full at the portal. (You explain things to him with such passion, despite being exhausted. Your hands wave slightly, and Kyle has to take the control from your lap to prevent it from falling. He’s never cared so much about Minecraft.)
Kyle’s first Enderman kills him, coming from behind. You conviently left out how they teleport, and watching him stumble around has you giggling with delirium. Purposely, this time, you lean closer, head tucked against Kyle’s arm. He can feel your laughter, and doesn’t mind being the source of your amusement. As he respawns, he shifts a bit, to allow you to fit better.
You yawn again, and after a moment, a second time. Your character is not moving as efficiently as it once was, and although you haven’t died, you aren’t fighting the mobs either. Kyle is doing most of the work, and almost is cocky with how smooth he can kill Creepers without them blowing either of you up.
At 2:48, you guys finally have gathered 12 pearls. Enderman spawn less frequently than other mobs, thus making it harder to hunt them down. Over the hour you have continued to sink into the warm of Kyle’s hoodie. If it was the morning, with people to witness, he thinks he would be a flustered mess. With the world asleep, it feels right to have you at his side; no one awake to argue with him.
Your character has stopped moving, and Kyle peers down to see if you’re asleep, too. Slowly, you blink up at him, confirmation of your (barely) consciousness. Kyle grins, and pressing a kiss to your forehead comes naturally. A sleepy grin appears on your face, but you don’t say anything. You don’t need to.
When the sun rises in the game, Kyle takes your controller to save the game. Your grip too weak to have any fight, and once the game finishes saving, he turns off the TV. Kyle yawns too, stretching as he stands for the first time in hours. You can barely keep yourself up, and once Kyle’s joints are no longer stiff, he helps guides you back up against your pillows.
“We didn’t get to the End.” You mumble into the comforter, shifting around to create space in your bed for him. He slides in, perfectly designed for the other half of your mattress.
“We can play another day.” Kyle murmurs, pushing hair from your forehead. Your eyes are shut now, and Kyle can’t help but smile from the simple domesticity of it all.
“Thanks for staying up with me.” You cuddle closer, those words acting as your goodnight as you can no longer force yourself to stay awake.
Kyle doesn’t say anything for a moment, yawning himself as he finally lets himself feel exhaustion from being up until three AM.
He tries to think of something romantic to say, like they would in the movies, but he doesn’t need to. The arm he curls around your waist, the way he eases into your mattress, and the relaxed look on his face tells it all.

Even Roses Bloom on the Craggiest of Cliffs: A Dive Into the Fashion of 2b2t
2b2t, a place known for its rough and gritty landscape and even deadlier denizens, has cultivated a different fashion scene than any I'd seen before. Joined by our guide Fit, travel with me to take a look at what 2b2t has in store.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/66528709
This is the piece I wrote for @mcyt-couture-zine! It's about the fashion that one might find on 2b2t.
This was such a cool project, and I'm glad to be a part of it! Check out the rest of the zine because every single piece made for this zine is jaw-droppingly beautiful.
If you're curious about my inspiration for the fic, I wrote a bit about it under the cut.
I wanted to write about 2b2t because I think that it's such a cornerstone of Minecraft servers that there would have to be some interesting fashion trends there. I picked FitMC to be the guide because I'm more familiar with his videos and character.
The first video of his I used was this video that explains how eye armor trim became the rarest item in 2b2t and that wearing an armor piece or set with the eye armor design is seen as extremely prestigious. Coupled with the fact that 2b2t would have an entire system dedicated to different armor aesthetics in materials, decorations, and embellishments, and I set up a little fictional interview with someone who wore a set.
The second video I wrote about was this one that's about how someone gathered a bunch of 2b2t youtubers together to recreate a real-life cult/secret society. They had robes, masks, and a camp in the middle of nowhere. However, the camp's coordinates were leaked and soon the whole camp was griefed. The oddest thing, though, was that no one showed up from the coordinates. The griefing was done entirely by the person who made the secret club. I took this and spun it to put even more emphasis on how 2b2t would value armor and see armor as safety and wearing anything else would be seen as dangerous or sketchy.
The third source I used wasn't a youtube video, but a book, Secrecy: Silence, Power, and Religion by Hugh B. Urban. It's a book that I read during my undergrad that talks about how groups of people, namely religious groups, would communicate to each other who was part of the "in" group and who was part of the "out" group using clothing, accessories, language, and other methods of expression without directly stating it. Many groups did this for a lot of different reasons, for safety, to escape the law, to be racist, but I think in a place like 2b2t, there would be a system in place where people would be able to communicate their allyship without being as open about it as like wearing a banner or how their armor was crafted. This is why I put the thing with the rings in there, but I don't think I necessarily conveyed the whole idea. But that's okay, because the fictional author/interviewer who's writing the interview just didn't pick up on the significance of what the rings meant. Anyways, I would highly recommend checking out the book if you're interested; it's a very good read!
Thank you for reading! And I cannot express this enough, check out the rest of the zine, too!!! <3

Kakashi is that type of minecraft player who tames a whole bunch of dogs and spends time in color coding their collars, gather enough name tags to name his pack (basically the ninken), builds a doghouse with fully furnished rooms for each dog which is better than his dirt shack of a home, and would never let them out of the safety of his base.
He’d get so stressed out when one of the ninken teleports to him out of nowhere while he’s out adventuring or mining even though he was sure all of them were sat before leaving home.
He would make sure all of them are fully fed, and would casually throw them a bone or meat even though he isn’t directly feeding them. Sometimes he would take them on a walk around the forest and get them to attack a defenseless chicken for enrichment purposes. Kakashi would also pretend to give them a bath by guiding them into a river then watch as they shake the water off once they’re back on land.
He hopes it doesn’t happen but if it does he will hold a funeral if one of his dogs were to die then get a new one and add jr. to their name in remembrance or a similar name
Kakashi would go out of his way of obtaining all wolf variants and craft wolf armor for each of the ninken since that’s a thing now in minecraft 1.21
#kakashi#hatake kakashi#kakashi hatake#naruto#ninken#minecraft#icha icha violence#I used to do that a lot when I was a kid#tbf I still wouldn’t take them out adventuring with me#don’t wanna risk it

Play.CivMC.net
Version: Java 1.20.1
CivMC is a geopolitical Minecraft server focused on civilization-building. Players form nations and establish governments, wars occur, and treaties are signed. You can play with friends, punish your ideological enemies, or raid and attack indiscriminately. All interactions and laws are player enforced, with the help of plugins that have defined the genre since it's inception as CivCraft. You can view the player run wiki here, the player run map (with rail lines, nation borders, ect) here, and the player run newsletter here. The wiki also contains a New Player Guide! Every new player gets one free teleport within 24 hours of joining, make it count! Basic information under the cut.
The primary plugins used on CivMC to make it unique are NameLayer, Citadel, and Exile Pearl. FactoryMod also deserves a mention here.
Exile Pearl is arguably the most interesting mechanic, which allows you to kill another player with an Ender Pearl on your hotbar. This will imprison said player in the Nether, and also imposes restrictions on their gameplay. Pearls degrade however, and player "Essence" is required to keep them fueled. Essence is granted on a daily basis to players after being online for 30 minutes. Requiring a somewhat active nation to keep others imprisoned. Pearled players are kept in vaults, disgustingly large and complex obsidian structures meant to have maximum security.

NameLayer acts as the base structure for many other plugins on the server. It allows players to make groups, with different ranks in said group having more, or fewer, permissions within a group. Such as who can buy from your shops, open doors and chests, or who can chat in said group. This last one is important, as the default chat range is only 1000 blocks. However there is a public global chat, just type "/global" after joining to participate, and "/local" to revert back.
Citadel is a reinforcement plugin that will make your chests harder for nefarious actors to break into, your buildings more resilient to attacks, and allows you more peace of mind during your off hours. Individual blocks, chests, doors, etc can be locked with reinforcement materials. Each material requires a set number of breaks before the block will drop. Stone is 50, iron ingots are 300, and diamonds are 2000. Virtually every build in the game is reinforced with stone, more expensive materials are reserved for more important things, like chests. NameLayer hooks into Citadel to allow granular access control for almost everything!
FactoryMod allows you to create small structures known as factories, made from a furnace, crafting table, and a chest. Factories allow for more complex recipes and items not found in vanilla minecraft. More efficient recipes than in vanilla minecraft (32 gold ore to 48 ingots, 64 cobble to 96 stone!). And cheaply available decorative blocks to make your builds nice.

There are plenty of other mechanics I haven't touched upon, like brewing alcohol for unique potion effects, how crops grow (or don't!) in certain biomes, the distribution of ores, or how you can see who broke into your home and stole all your crafting tables. See the wiki for more information on game mechanics! There are plenty of nations on the server, which I would recommend joining before trying to make your own. One of my personal favourites is the nation of Pavia, locted at (800, -3000)

Pavia is an elective meritocracy, comprising of a Prime Minister and his Cabinet, elected by the Nobility of Pavia. Pavia's territory is divided into distinct classes outlined by the foundational law of the country, the Magna Pavia. These classes administrate their own territories with varying states of autonomy and all add their own story to Pavia's ever-growing lore & history! Pavia is famous for its incredible and sprawling architecture as well as its economy, home to the largest Bank on CivMC and one of the server's most extensive shopping districts. There is a tutorial open to anyone to learn every guide and plugin which is located in the Pavia townhall, if you wish to use the server tutorial head to (+800 , -3065) inside the building on the ground floor. If you are new to CivMC, it is recommended you start off by settling in the Bedford Commons, a city just outside the capital's walls. The coordinates are (+1000, -2800).

Could there be a good minecraft movie?
From the look of the trailer, it seems like the movie is gonna get every single thing it could possibly get wrong. They dont have faith in their audience to understand a plot taking place in a world so different from our own, so they go with the isekai plot, the single laziest direction they couldve taken.
But what would a good minecraft movie look like? It would be hard to pull off, but not impossible.
Firstly, most of us can all agree that a minecraft movie should not be live action, its a heavily stylized game and the real people in it look ridiculously out of place. the movie should stay fully animated and not overly detailed. Personally, i think the movie could look great in stop motion. Stop motion can really bring out the combination of cozy and spooky feeling that minecraft has.
what about the plot?
Minecraft is a very quiet and atmospheric game, there is no dialogue, everybody communicates, but nobody talks including steve. It's a sandbox game, because it lets you build and terraform and shape the world as you want and move towards the end goal at your own pace (if youre interested in completing the end goal at all). But also because throughout the game you're given bits and pieces of lore and you're the one to put them together to how you see them. Why are endermen hurt by water? What are creepers? Why are piglins so stingy about gold? Who built the pyramids and monuments? You don't get the answer, it's up to your own interpretation. Going back to the movie, it really should be low on dialogue. Steve could narrate the movie, but he never talks (like Spirit from "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron). He sees an enderman and makes eye contact qith it which aggrevates it, he doesnt know why it aggrevated it, but from that experience he learns not to do that anymore and manages to co exist peacefully with them. If anyone talked in that movie, it should be alex (if shes even in the movie), but she doesnt talk a lot and nobody understands her language but steve who cant talk back. Communication is done through body language and actions, the visuals and the music (and i mean minecraft music) primarely tell the story.
What would it be about tho?
When we begin to play minecraft, we're thrown into the world with no manual or instructions, we're on our own empty handed, we go through the world learning how to craft, what to do with new items we find, which mobs are our allies and which our foes. I remember playing minecraft for the first time (actually quite recently, sometime after the nether update) and i was so confused and stressed because i had no idea what i was supposed to be doing, everything was strange and foregin and there was no guide on what to do. But as i got the hang ot it, as i started exploring and gathering materials and building my base it soon became fun and relaxing. The further i went, the more confident i felt. This is what the movie should be about. Being in this unknown world without anyone to guide you and the only way forward is to try and fail and try again and face the unfamiliar and get to know your surroundings. It should be about facing the fear of unknown, letting yourself fail, breaching out of the comfort zone, not finding your place in the world, but building it. It doesn't have to end with slaying the dragon, it can end with steve realizing he is not afraid anymore, that he has what he needs to feel comfortable and all the confidence to go forward. I feel like a lot of people that grew up with minecraft as kids are now young adults and a movie about being placed in a new environmemt where you're the one to take care of yourself and nobody guides you by hand would reasonate with them quite a lot
but, you know, i'm sure another jumanji clone with jack black starring as jack black in blue shirt will do the trick just as well.
