Hospice billing can be complex, but it doesn’t have to be stressful with the right steps. Specialized attention goes a long way in smoothing out the process and ensuring accuracy. You might consider taking advantage of healthcare billing services Nationwide, that understand the ins and outs of hospice billing, setting the tone for excellence.

every time I come across somebody who foams rabidly at the mouth for Langdon but despises Santos I have to resist the urge to bite my phone in half, like i hate to break it to you but that’s the same character in two different fonts
langdon is struggling with a very real and very serious drug addiction which makes him dangerous at his job, and santos is on her first day at a new job where her mask of over-confidence also means she makes mistakes which she is rightly corrected for
neither of them are evil or bad, neither of them is a villain, they’re both incredibly empathetic people who went into a profession to help others because it gives them a sense of fulfillment
#like yeah i just think if you can’t handle conflict between characters#without turning it into a black and white right and wrong narrative#then you’re childish#and reductive#somebody can be a good person but do bad things#somebody can make mistakes on their FIRST DAY OF WORK#the pitt#text#tiger talks#frank langdon#trinity santos

One really good thing I think Princess and the Dragon (and the Pristine Cut in general) added was how it changed the way the split between the harsh/soft princess reads (gonna be referring to them as Harsh and Soft for the rest of this post for simplicity).
Pre-Pristine Cut I saw a good amount of people (mostly on YouTube, I don't think I saw many here) commenting that they preferred the Harsh Princess because they felt that she was more genuine than Soft. This perception was arguably supported by their respective "free the princess" routes: in Prisoner the two of you have to work together to get out of the cabin, in Damsel you kind of just have to ignore your impulse to question things and rush out the door (I'm oversimplifying a bit, I know, bear with me). Between the Deconstructed Damsel ending, Shifty's description of her, and the overall more comedic tone of the route, the game sort of implied whatever relationship you have with Damsel (and by extension the Soft princess) isn't built on anything substantive.
However, I think the additions in the Pristine Cut help to challenge this. First, by expanding the Damsel route with Happily Ever After. In the leadup to Happily Ever After we see Damsel express discomfort with your suggestion to stay (though she'll still agree to it). This is a little thing, but it does help to show that she's still her own person with her own desires (which was a thing pre-pristine cut as well, this just makes it more explicit). HEA itself also helps to flesh out Damsel, and shows that her care for the player is genuine (even if your relationship in the route itself has gone downhill).
PATD also added a detail which completely recontextualized the "Harsh/Soft" Princess: namely, that the Princess can hear if you pick up the knife. Where before it was suggested that the Princess' behavior changed based on the blade because of the player's perception (if you take the blade you see her as a threat & vice versa), now instead it seems that her behavior changes depending on if she knows you're armed.
While you could still argue that the "soft" persona is a facade, I think this change highlights that the "harsh" princess is one as well. If Soft is "acting" sweet to prove that she's harmless and convince you to let her go, Harsh is trying to show that she's dangerous to discourage you from killing her. Her dialogue when convincing you to drop the knife emphasizes this (paraphrasing): "I'm probably locked down here for a reason, right? Best not to risk finding out what I can do." This isn't to say that either version of the Princess isn't "real" or that she "doesn't have a personality" - I think both versions are being genuine, they're just also unsure if they can trust you.
This change also made reuniting with the Heart Princess at the end of the game even more meaningful for me - it's the first time the two of you can speak openly with one another on equal terms.
#sorry for 3 lengthy stp posts in one day I have a project I'm procrastinating#also aqua/pede(slash so as to not tag by mistake)'s post reminded me of how much I like this change#slay the princess#stp#stp patd#i'm not sure i phrased this super well bc i think the analysis of damsel (and kinda prisoner) is a little reductive#(i was more trying to say why i think people responded to the soft princess a certain way instead of what i think was intended by the game)#i also worry referring to the harsh/soft personalities as a 'facade' suggests they aren't real when that's not really what I mean#i think both are part of the princess i just also think she's playing up different parts of her personality#depending on if she needs to convince you or threaten you#final comment: i love the nickname 'heart princess' it's so cute

academics will be like "marxism eurocentrically assumes that the peasantry will just be dispossessed and proletarianized!" and you're like damn that's terrible! how is the peasantry these days? and they've been dispossessed and proletarianized.
#this is very very reductive lmao and I am not saying that claims about the *role* or the *potential* of the peasantry are bad#just that academics seem to mistake the identification of capitalism's homogenizing tendencies as some kind of like.#idk purely discursive claim?

Absolutely salivating over the Thunder Saga and Thunder Bringer. I feel like it's such an awesome depicton of Zeus.
Zeus often gets depicted in a very flat way, which I understand, but it's still always fun to see a piece of media show the Point of it all. The gods are personifications of concepts and reflections of the humans who worship them.
Zeus is the king of the gods, he is imposing and loud and intimidating. He is the one who punishes humans for flaws like hubris, he abuses his authority because that's what kings do. Pride and hubris are concepts he plays with and breaks like mortal women (and young boys, GET BEHIND ME GANYMEDES I'LL PROTECT YOU), he is the only one who can undress and relish in this without consequence because he is the lord of all. He is monsterous is the way humans and nature are.
He makes Odysseus choose between his men and Penelope because Odysseus didn't partake in the meat. A captain takes responsibility for his crew but Zeus knows he wasn't able to stop them because he lost that authority via the mutiny. Technically, he wasn't captain anymore, that wasn't his responsibility, he only regained that when the crew fucked up and needed him to. Zeus was cruel, will you take responsibility for your men at the expense of youself or will you let them bear the brunt of their sins themselves as you were spared that burden by their own intervention? It's like Eurylochus said: "If you want all the power you must carry all the blame".
Odysseus responds to Eurylochus saying they'll die if he does not take the blame with that he knows, he knows he doomed them, and maybe Odysseus would've considered it earlier in the story, but he's long since burned his humanity at the altar in sacrifice of Penelope and their child. His crew encouraged this, not realizing that a man-made monster denies mercy to anyone who gets in his way, not just their enemies.
Eurylochus never believed they would get home so Odysseus told him light the torches. Eurylochus would be another sacrifice at Odysseus's altar, one way or another. So would all his brothers. Odysseus became like Scylla and Circe and Polyphemus. He would be the helmet that scared Astyanax. He would look out for himself because it seems only monster and gods survive in this world, humanity is culled for the sake of protecting what you love. Your power, your life, your wife, your son.
The rain Zeus brought washed away the last of that humanity, the last remnants of Odysseus the man.
#Finis analyzes#epic the musical#epic the thunder saga#I have been listening to the new songs on repeat#Odysseus they could never make me hate you#Also make no mistake I do not like Zeus#But I also feel it's reductive to not acknowledge why he's characterized like that#And the heart of the concepts he is meant to personify

HELLO BEE👅EETH
Re: The WIP Folder Game -> Ahhh I see, Four Adults and a Baby got a new title! I like itttt
Have you decided yet whether you'll create an Aussie OC for Redacted / The Aussie Mistake? If so, anything you can tell us about her yet? :D Or have you got any other news / changes of the story? 👀
Hi Jolly!
Yup, new working titles!
At the moment, I’m playing with the original version, where the person is me running into Sam and Dean in an Aussie supermarket. The thing is, I kind of want them to stick around in the end and make them my house husbands above all else, but do you really want to read that?
Reducted comes from you mentioning that it’s the reverse of Abducted. We’ve got a parody, potentially more Aussie references, more of a chance for me to make fun of my own story/writing, plus them getting upset when they realise I wrote fanfics about them and what I’ve put them through... I’m not sure who will be more pissed about Snickerdoodles…
Only whatever the reason Sam and Dean are in Australia, it’s not as complicated as why Glowworm was brought to the States, not that I know how they got here yet. It’s a parody, I can turn something lame into a joke 😂
ETA - I just thought of something. Balthazar is upset with me for 1) never using him in a fic, and 2) my prior infatuation with THE SONG and Leo… And when I say, “But I can’t be the only one that fits the profile,” he’ll say, “No, but you’re the only one whose friend Jolly asked the question that inspired this mess.” - extreme 4th walling
So I’m going to leave you with some notes I have made for this version (I actually have some scenes written down in dialogue-point-form already):
They’ve been pulled from 2010 when the episode takes place, it’s 2025 here and still after the cyclone we had
That means their flip phones don’t work, but their credit cards do because I said so technology. I didn’t think about how they bought their groceries before that…
That also means it’s post COVID 😁 guess who gets to explain that?
So I will be getting them out of the raging hoard of bogans (Aussie rednecks) when they get noticed
I will drag them out to my car - Dean will not be impressed
Technically we should rearrange the car seats for Bobby-John and one of the big lugs in the back, but there’s not really time and I’m lazy so we all cram in
Conversations in the car will ensue, to which I will start to believe them or think they’re really deranged - a thing poor glowworm had to deal with
At some point we will have to try and call their agents right? Am I going to jail for kidnapping them?
First stop is picking up my oldest son from school though in which Dean insists on going with. This is where Covid will come into it
I’m not dragging someone who looks like Jensen fucking Ackles through my kids school, but luckily, I still have masks in my car’s glove box… pretty sure I wouldn’t put them on my own face, but he does
Which leads to questions about why I have face masks in my car. “Guys it’s 2025 . A lots happened in the world since—” she trails off. “2010?
At some point we will Google the real Jared and Jensen and see if they’re missing or not. They’re not ✌️
Dean will hate my car so much, especially when he suspects my oil is low (my dad always does) and will try to fix it and get pissed off that I’m not all that interested
He will insist he should drive of course, and then fuck up the road rules here - near death experience
Oh, and mow the lawn for me
Sam will be too busy doing research
I will be stuck looking after Bobby-John along with my kids. However I can picture a scene of waking up to them having made breakfast or something and trying to make my life less stressful
Dean will flirt, maybe Sam too if I’m feeling that egotistical
The problem is, this could become very long if I let it… Honestly though, it’s so fun to write, and as long as I don’t go too deep - I can see one of them asking about my separation circumstances, which brings me to, they will shit on my ex - it should be okay 👌 and so I keep going! Whether I post it is another matter…
What do ya think? ❤️

I don't know entirely how to explain this, but I think an important part of healing from religious trauma is learning about substance use disorders and shifting your views on drugs to neutral
#I'm not gonna act like I'm exempt from biases#I still get nervous drinking or being around people that are drunk#I still get paranoid using my medical marijuana#but I genuinely think viewing drugs as neutral is the first step (no pun intended) to recovering#The flavor of christianity I was raised with focused on joy. You were supposed to say you're joyful no matter what because ur alive#Anger. Sadness. Grief. Disgust. All of these were brought into the world when Adam and Eve fell from grace#Sex. Drugs. and Rock and Roll are seen as the epitome of hedonism and self-serving pleasure#Sex and Rock and Roll are talked about p often. Maybe not R&R specifically but the concept of secular music#We talk about purity culture and indoctrination and isolation and so on and so forth. But drugs are different. Drugs are Still Bad#When I say shift drugs to neutral sure I mean having a beer with the boys or smoking a lil pot to relax#but I also mean people doing heroin and cocaine and fentanyl and narcotics and opioids and#Drugs are a substance that alters your body or mind in some way. That's it. That's all there is to it. It's not good or bad it just is#They can cause harm. I know that. But so can literally anything#I'm learning about substance use disorder as part of my clinical psychology track but I was already a harm reduction activist before that#It's uncomfortable seeing the way people. even people in a psychopathology class. talk about addiction. it's not a disorder to them#it's a moral failure. A weak will. A slip up. A mistake that ruined their life and not a substance a person used to alter their situation#To help you get comfortable feeling joy again after leaving xtianity you have to view substances as neutral. You can't see your own pleasure#as a neutral one where you're simply changing your situation if it feels like things are good and bad. And if drugs aren't good or bad#then maybe you aren't either. maybe you just are#idk if that made sense I just got my flu and covid shot and I'm slightly feverish but yea. drugs! I like weed it's good be safe#ex christian#religious trauma

yargh. complicated characters save me complicated characters…
#im thinking about ceroba…#im thinking about how ive seen so many ppl (in ‘hot takes’) call her a bad mother for what she did to kanako#and im thinking about how its. silly to base the entire view of her as a character around one mistake#yes sure a very BIG mistake but still one mistake#i dont know if i would even say shes a bad mom. to do so would require me to make some kind of criteria to actually define#what MAKES a bad person#ive spoken before to a friend about how our concepts of good and bad as a whole r subjective anyway#but thats besides the point#i think ceroba as a interesting character becauseee of her mistakes because of her flaws#i think (er. KNOW) that she was a very caring mother. she loved kanako lots lots lots and did everything in her power to fix that mistake#but that doesnt take away that it still happened#im just rambling at this point. nonsense probably#but i think the reason i dislike the bad mom ceroba takes so much is that its reduction to her character in a way…#and that it cant and shouldnt rlly speak to her characterization before and after. yknow the incident#sorry thats a big mess….. i have thoughts i dont know how to speak them#i could say the same abt the other characters too… how ppl like to equate their whole view of a char#to only a few moments with that char#weve forgotten star tried briefly to take clovers soul </3 but oh well#ok im done jfkdkd this is disorganized

At the bus stop one time there was a gaggle of preschoolers waiting to catch the bus for a field trip day, and someone walked past with a couple of friendly little dogs, to great general delight.
But after a little bit, the dogs were getting overwhelmed, and the preschoolers were gently coaxed to back off so the person with the dogs could continue on. Specifically, one of the preschool teachers said, "Sometimes, when you're small, being surrounded by big people can be a bit scary and overwhelming. Even if they are friendly."
This was recieved as great wisdom: after all, the preschoolers were also small, and understood how scary and overwhelming big people could be! And the dogs were indeed even smaller than the preschoolers, so it made sense.
What was funny and charming was that, upon absorbing and reflecting on this wisdom, they all felt the need to tell it to one another. In tones of great insight, they turned to one another and said, "Did you know? Sometimes when you are small, being surrounded by big people can be scary and overwhelming! Even if they are friendly!" Back and forth, without any particular concern that they were all saying the same thing. Have reached comprehension of an insight, it must be shared!
I must say that this behavior is less charming in tumblr users than in preschoolers. Not least because tumblr users, having gained a little analytical skill to misuse, insist on Summarizing and Generalizing and Unifying the insights they repeat, quickly turning any interesting new information into formulaic dogmatic mush.
#i made the mistake of looking in the notes of the beach sand post i reblogged to see if anyone else had interesting comments#And the rate at which it went from like#1) person states with moderate confidence an opinion based on their personal observations#2) multiple people reply with “wow thats so insightful!” (aka it aligns with my preconceived notions of how things work)#3) someone else adds additional personal observations which are not really relevant but which can be absorbed into the narrative#4) people start outright stating the underlying belief on which this bias is constructed as if it were a fresh insight#5) general derisive attitude towards people who haven't seen the Obviously Correct solution to this complex real world problem yet#It's very.......#It's not like it's a high stakes post but it's such a microcosm of the whole dogmatic phenomenon#Also this js a more specific gripe to My Field or w/e#But the degree to which people react to the problems caused by the whole “Control of Nature” era of engineering#with this equally reductive “Nature will Fix Everything” type of attitude#Is sooooo frustrating.#Yes a great many of our current problems could have been avoided if we had not made massive changes to ecosystem processes on the assumptio#That they were simple and we understood them. And that they would respond in predictable ways.#the simplicity in retrospect of “wow we Should Not have done that” does not mean that they are simple to undo!#You can't go back in time. You can't turn back the clock on chaotic processes#Which is. Almost every process ever.#Restoration is hard! Returning to previous regimes of sediment or flooding or fire is tricky and full of foibles!#Moving towards a future which doesn't suck as much even if the past cant be recreated is also uncertain and difficult!#It's frustrating to see people act all high and mighty about how they Respect Nature unlike whoever is making all these decisions#When their understanding of the natural processes in question is AS simplistic as the people who caused the whole mess back in 1910 or w/e#Like I'm not saying there's not bad interests standing in the way of functional restoration on all levels#That's very much a fight to be fought.#But looking at that fight-in-process and saying “wow none of you Respect Nature like me uwu let nature fix it”#Is.#Ugh.

I have no way to tell how up to date this is (since I don't have access to the most recent TACT rules book) but NOTHING ELSE MAKES SENSE!
#https://www.globalbizgate.com/lpd/ac01/docs/3-7.pdf#ollie's log#my exam had a shipment of newspapers with a gross weight of more than 1000 kg#and I lost a point because I didn't apply the class rate#I didn't because it results in a total 3000€ higher than using the general cargo quantity rate - but the ccr was deemed the correct answer#although it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!!!#oh damn your print media are too heavy now you get a 'reduction' but have to pay MORE than if it were any other normal shit...#(and I'm not even talking about the fact that we were supposed to fly them from germany to australia for which things are different anyway)#what IS it with teachers not thinking their exams through/making mistakes while correcting them#this is the second time this week that a teacher mistakenly deducted a point and I had to point it out to them#it's not like those singular points made any difference BUT I expect people to do their work correctly!

Even if your job is just going to be inputting numbers into a program that does the calculations for you, you still need the base knowledge to understand if an error was made
"i don't care if they make their whole way though uni with chatgpt" i think you guys are so internetpilled that you have forgotten there are actual jobs out there that require people to know what they are doing in any way possible or else people die
#engineering student here#we where encouraged to use cgpt in uni#but as a tool for when we where stuck#they taught us to still learn the stuff on our own sowe know when cgpt is wrong#and it is often#tried to use it to do a matrix reduction and the answer was nonsensical#and sometimes its human error but how will you catch the mistake if you don't know how the calculations are supposed to work?

How to Stop Procrastinating by Managing Your Emotions
Procrastination happens when we delay doing things, and it's often connected to our emotions. Feelings like being afraid to fail, feeling worried or stressed, getting bored, or lacking motivation can all contribute to procrastination. To stop procrastinating and get more things done, it's important to learn how to handle our emotions better.
Boredom:
Break the task into smaller, more engaging sub-tasks.
Find ways to make the task more interesting or challenging.
Set a timer and work on the task for a specific amount of time, followed by a short break doing something enjoyable.
Feeling Overwhelmed:
Prioritize tasks and focus on one thing at a time.
Break the task into smaller, more manageable steps.
Delegate some parts of the task if possible or seek help from others.
Use tools like to-do lists or task management apps to stay organized.
Anxiety:
Practice deep breathing or mindfulness techniques to calm yourself.
Challenge negative thoughts and replace them with more positive and realistic ones.
Start with the easier or less intimidating aspects of the task to build momentum.
Set realistic expectations and remind yourself that it's okay to make mistakes.
Self-Doubt:
Focus on past accomplishments and successes to boost your confidence.
Seek support or feedback from others to gain reassurance.
Remind yourself of your skills and capabilities to tackle the task.
Use positive affirmations to counteract negative self-talk.
Perfectionism:
Embrace the concept of "good enough" rather than seeking perfection.
Set realistic and achievable goals for each task.
Recognize that mistakes and imperfections are part of the learning process and growth.
Indecisiveness:
Break decisions into smaller steps and make one small decision at a time.
Set a time limit for making decisions to avoid overthinking.
Trust your instincts and make the best decision you can with the information available.
Apathy or Lack of Interest:
Find aspects of the task that align with your values or long-term goals.
Break the task into smaller, more manageable parts and focus on completing one at a time.
Reward yourself for completing the task to make it more appealing.
Stress or Burnout:
Practice stress-reduction techniques such as meditation, exercise, or spending time in nature.
Break tasks into smaller steps to reduce the feeling of overwhelm.
Prioritize self-care and take breaks to avoid burnout.
Feeling Uninspired or Creatively Blocked:
Engage in activities that stimulate creativity, such as brainstorming, mind mapping, or seeking inspiration from others' work.
Start with a simple and basic version of the task to get the creative juices flowing.
Collaborate with others or seek feedback to gain new perspectives.
Fear of Success:
Identify and challenge the negative beliefs or fears that may be holding you back.
Visualize the positive outcomes of completing the task successfully.
Focus on the benefits and personal growth that come with success.
Impatience:
Break long-term goals into smaller milestones to track progress.
Practice mindfulness to stay present and patient throughout the process.
Remind yourself that progress takes time and effort.
Lack of Confidence:
Celebrate your past accomplishments to boost your confidence.
Seek support and encouragement from friends, family, or mentors.
Focus on building specific skills related to the task to increase confidence.
Avoiding Discomfort:
Acknowledge that discomfort is a natural part of growth and improvement.
Break tasks into smaller steps and tackle the more challenging aspects gradually.
Remind yourself of the long-term benefits of facing discomfort.
Overestimating Future Motivation:
Practice discipline and commit to starting tasks even when motivation is low.
Set specific deadlines for tasks to create a sense of urgency.
Establish a routine that includes regular work on the task to build consistency.
