As somebody who has always been obsessed with necromancers and goth characters, I really want to read the locked tomb series, it seems right up my alley! I always get asks about what mods I use, and as I've been playing World Adventures recently for the Completionist LEPacy challenge, I've been trying to compile some mods specific to that expansion - I thought I'd share all the ones I've found here so anyone else who is new to WA can have some recommendations!

Nraas Traveller

This mod overhauls the travel system and allows all types & ages of sims to travel, and also allows travel to any EA or custom world you have installed, not just the 3 standard vacation ones - so your sims could take a vacation in Sunlit Tides or Monte Vista if they want to!

PotatoBalladSims distant terrain fix for France & Qahne's Smaller Eiffel Tower

These mods are both just small aesthetic changes for France, the first one fixes blocky trees in the distance and the second one makes the Eiffel Tower a way more realistic size

TheBleedingWoodland's Shang Simla Icon Fix

This changes Shang Simla's icon to the Forbidden City which is actually located in China

Twinsimming's Take Practice Shots Mod

The photography skill can be so tedious to level up as you have to take photographs manually, this mod makes it much easier as you can leave your sims to idlly practice photography like they can do with any other skill

OutOfIdeas' More Unique Adventures Per Day

I was having a big problem where I would go to a country in search of a specific adventure to unlock a tomb & have to return home 8 days later, having nothing come up on the adventure board during my sims stay - this mod fixes that annoying problem as it allows for more adventures to appear each day, there are several flavours to choose from so it's totally customisable with how 'cheaty' you want to go!

NanaBx3's fishing box chest fix

There used to be a small chance that sims would reel in a treasure box when going fishing, but the feature got borked in one of the patches years ago and was never fixed - this mod makes it more likely you will come across this cool feature, it features additional items to be discovered in treasure boxes if WA is installed

LowMotivesWarning's Not-So-Weak Mummies

This ups the athletic ability of mummies & likelihood of your sim getting cursed to make them much more dangerous & threatening

StrexSims More Townies for Vacation Worlds

This is not technically a mod as it's a pack of sims, but it basically allows for more of the sims walking around town to fit in with the aesthetics of that neighbourhood - if you like this pack I strongly recommend checking out this creator's other townie packs, as they've released them for most EA worlds!

Round 6, Day 3 - Team Avenger

The hound collapsed, one final head raising as it whimpered and growled-- helpless as the Count served the final blow. Without words, the Avenger continued onward, stepping deeper and deeper within the confines of the cavern.

He stopped, staring into the massive chamber at the end of the dark stone passageway, pointing at a massive figure laying at rest.

"A tomb. The hound guarded a tomb… this is what it held so dearly and wished to protect. Avenger or no, we all fight within the bounds of love and hatred. That hound fought for the sake of 'love'."

He noted, staring at the dragon. It was massive, a grand beast who's gargantuan frame took up almost every ounce of space. A low rumble filled the chamber, an earthen tremor that you quickly recognized as the beast breathing. Faint, shallow, yet breathing. Alive, in the barest sense. It's slumber deep and intense.

"An Extra-Class. The dragon himself is one as well. That is what the Temptress warned us of… and if we were to awake him, things would truly turn for the worse. I have no opinions-- he doesn't stand in the way of my revenge, nor my path to the Grail. Besides, I doubt we could rouse it from its slumber."

Servant Skills:

Determination of Steel (EX Rank): If Avenger is about to take a fatal wound, if there's at least a 3% difference in their score and the victor above him, he may avoid damage. When facing a single-target (1-on-1), he will gain a +3% boost.

Monte Cristo Mythologie: The King of the Cavern (C Rank): When battling enemies, his flames are like a poison. He reduces demerits against him by 3%, and when he is victorious against another, he inflicts a -2% demerit for their next round. This demerit increases by 2% by every 10% difference in scores.

Wisdom of Predicament (A Rank): When engaged in a Free-for-All, gain a +3% boost. Additionally, if Avenger earns last place, both the victor and the 2nd place Servant gain a -2% demerit, rather than simply the 2nd place Servant.

NOBLE PHANTASM: Enfer Château d'If (A Rank)

A high-speed Noble Phantasm that inflicts 2 ‘wounds’ rather than 1. If this Noble Phantasm is triggered during a one-on-one battle, then he gains a +20% boost. If it is triggered in a Free-for-All, the boost increases to +30%. Demerits lose any and all effectiveness against him for the duration of the round.

Class-Traits:

AVENGER-CLASS Servants are vengeful by nature. The first time they are defeated by a Servant, they gain an automatic +2% bonus against that specific Servant, without needing to study them (but can in order to increase the bonus). They gain a permanent +3% bonus per wound they attain that will remain if the wound remains, but will disappear if the wound is healed.

Everything proceeds normally until le château d'if. There, Faria, realizing he will die, decides to give one last secret to Edmond: he is the last of the Spada vampire clan. He bites him and turns him into a vampire, then dies a few months later.

The newfound strength and stamina account for how he survives his escape. Known as Sinbad the Sailor on the Sea, he scours the mediterranean to get even richer. Meets Luigi Vampa, who is at the head of a small convent and a big troop of outlaws, most of which dont know about him being a vampire. Edmond overpowers him and makes him his drone/thrall.

Franz stumbles into monte cristo island. There, it's not the drugs but the hypnosis of Sinbad that makes him fall asleep/faint.

Later on, everyone finding Monte Cristo charismatic or not recognizing Dantes in him are just falling for his glamour again.

Except for Mercedes, because she truly loved him and true love, even unilateral at that point of the story, can break every magic. Or something like that.

Bertuccio is also a vampire, and Benedetto wasnt completely dead yet, but he bit him to save him. He now blames the part of darkness in every vampire (and so himself for springing it to a child with no prior moral education/experience) for his sister's death. Monte Cristo will later dispose of Benedetto/Andrea that liberally because he sees a rogue vampire as a threat to himself.

Despite her begging prayers, he always refused to turn Haydee. He goes into the duel with Albert knowing he cant die (but mercedes saves albert's life). When Valentine is poisoned, the scene goes exactly the same (you have to trust me, even if you were to wake up in a tomb) but he turns her instead of Juliet-ing her. However, since she was so sick, she doesnt turn, she simply survives the poison.

There are multiple people he couldnt save because they dere already dead (his father, Haydee's mother...) or outright refuses to save when able to (Caderousse) but the death of Edouard shakes him and he realizes he's been playing God but acting like a demon.

He finally turns Haydee and they sail into the sunset to travel forever on the sea.

After her brother Benedict had gone to Monte Cassino, she settled in the nearby Plombariola, ruling a community of nuns. She visited Benedict once a year in a small house near the monastery.

One day after dinner, Scholastica asked her twin brother to remain a little longer, but he refused. Thus, she joined her hands and invoked the help of the Lord, who sent a violent storm, so that neither Benedict nor his companions could return home.

Benedict exclaimed: 'May God forgive you, sister; what have you done?'

Scholastica answered: 'I asked a favor of you, and you refused it; I asked it of God, and he has granted it.'

Benedict was therefore forced to comply with her request, and to spend the night talking about holy things and eternal happiness. The next morning they parted ways, and three days later, Scholastica passed away on February 10, 543 AD near Monte Cassino.

Benedict was at that time alone in his cell absorbed in prayer, when, lifting his eyes, he saw his sister's soul ascending to heaven as a dove. Filled with joy, he thanked God and sent some monks to bring his twin sister's body to his monastery, and laid it in the tomb he had prepared for himself.

It was the year 547 AD, and Benedict followed her soon after.
