Our school bell rung signalling the most awaited time , the lunch break . The teacher was in the middle of speaking as the bell rung and as soon as the students heard the ringing there was alot of scrapping of chairs , chit chatting , laughing and overall a very annoying commotion. I stood up as yunjin made her way to my desk whinning "common girl you take so long to pack up , I'm hungryyyy" okay I love my bestfriend but I do not take that long and this bitch has no absolute patience . I rolled my eyes at her as we walked towards our regular seat with our food .

We were in the middle of gossiping along with eating as heeseung came with Jay and sat with us . I blushed a bit as I saw them and i could hear yunjin holding her laugh . I elbowed her as heeseung spoke up "hello guys , what's up" yunjin stopped laughing as she answered "we were just gossiping, talk of gossip I heard one guy of your group started dating is it one of you guys?" She wriggked her eyebrows teasingly as the three of them laughed meanwhile i couldn't help but tense at her words . It can't be him , I know it since I've been following him from 1 week continuously. Heeseung saw my expression as he cleared it out "no no it's just a rumour, none of us are dating anyone"

Yunjin smiled as she saw heeseung reassuring me . I could tell- honestly scratch that everyone could tell that heeseung liked me and according to him as well as a few other people, I like him back . Yunjin was one of the 'other people' and she alwyas tries to do something to get us together , giggling over a simple interaction we having that she quotes as 'absolutely romantic ' . I don't know where they get this ridiculous idea.

Okay to be honest I do know where they get the idea from but they are getting it all wrong . Yes I blush when he's around , yes my eyes always searches for his group , yes I fix my hair when I see him coming but it's not because of him . It's because of the guy he's always around with - It's because of Jay . They are bestfriends and are practically attached to the hip with the amount of time they spend together.

I first saw him at the guitar class in our school , then at the committee meeting , then at the cafeteria and then it was everyday. Slowly i was starting to realise that I liked him but it was just a mere attraction. Though the reality quickly changed when my mere attraction turned into obsession. My occasional glances turned into staring , i came to guitar classes not for the guitar but for him , and the worst of all I started following him . I just couldn't get enough of his smile , his scent just him in general and it was driving me crazy!! I wanted him to be mine and mine only .

Snapping back at the cafeteria I heard heeseung speak , "sooo Jake's having a party tonight at our dorm , you guys coming right?" I was about to politely decline but yunjin spoke before me eagerly accepting his invitation "oh offcourse, we need a break . The assignments are killinngg me" All the while I was just staring at jay and suddenly our eyes met but he didn't look away , his eyes were so intense and so deep that i could litteraly drown in them . Heeseung broke our eye contact as he stood up "okay greatt!! Meet you guys tonight at 8 " and with that they left . Yunjin looked at me as she squealed "he's sooo in love with you and you just can't stop blushing, just date already ohmygod!!!" I scoffed as I shook my head and stood up holding my tray "common you know I don't like him let's go we're getting late" . She followed me as she continued speaking "oh yeah sureee" making sure to exaggerate the sure .

In the bustling chaos of a crowded party, amidst the pulsating rhythm of music and the cacophony of laughter, there was one figure who stood out to me like a beacon in the night: Jay. He was the epitome of effortless charm, his smile lighting up the room as he effortlessly commanded the attention of everyone around him.

We had reached to the party a bit late but the night was still young . I stared at jay as yunjin went to dance with some guy . He was the only one in mind , my every waking moment filled with fantasies of us together. But I knew that in reality, we inhabited two separate worlds, destined never to intersect.

On this particular night, fueled by a cocktail of desire and desperation, I made a decision that would change the course of both our lives forever. As I watched Jay mingle with the crowd, his laughter ringing out like music to my ears, I knew that I had to make him mine, by any means necessary.

The plan unfolded with chilling precision, each step calculated to perfection. I approached Jay with a coy smile, my heart pounding in anticipation as I engaged him in conversation. He was charming and attentive, his words weaving a spell around me as I struggled to maintain my composure.

As the night wore on and the drinks flowed freely, I seized my opportunity, discreetly slipping a potent sedative into Jay's drink when he wasn't looking. A rush of adrenaline coursed through my veins as I watched him take a sip, my pulse quickening with every passing moment.

With bated breath, I waited for the drug to take effect, my nerves fraying at the edges as I grappled with the enormity of what I had done. But as Jay's eyes began to droop and his movements grew sluggish, a sense of exhilaration washed over me, drowning out the whispers of doubt that threatened to consume me whole.

When Jay finally succumbed to the effects of the sedative, I wasted no time in carrying out the next phase of my plan. With trembling hands, I guided him out of the crowded party and into the cool night air, my heart pounding with a mixture of fear and excitement , lying effortlessly to anyone that asked what happened to him - "oh he just drank too much"

As I navigated the deserted streets, Jay's limp form slung over my shoulder, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was on the precipice of something extraordinary. This was my chance to finally possess the object of my desires, to make him mine in every sense of the word. But damn was i a fool , i should've known . It was too good to be true , too easy .

When Jay finally regained consciousness, his reaction was not what I had expected. Instead of fear , confusion , screaming or thrashing there was a glint of something else in his eyes, something that sent a shiver down my spine. He was too calm for my liking .

"Nice place , though I do prefer a fancy bed but this works just fine I guess ?" Jay's voice was calm, almost eerily so, as he gazed at me with an intensity that made my blood run cold. "You know these ropes are cheap for a reason right ?" He said as he pulled his hands from behind his back and rubbed the spot where the bruise was forming

I recoiled in shock, my mind racing as I struggled to comprehend what was happening. Why is he so calm ? Does he think i actually got him here because he was drunk ? Or does he think we had sex ? But that doesn't explain the rop- "calm down sweetheart, I can tell you're thinking too much" he interrupted my thoughts sweetly with his honey like voice flowing through my mind . He stood up and gently tugged at my wrist as he pulled me closer and leaned down a bit inhaling the scent of my perfume which I bought because it was his favourite "hmmm my favourite perfume, got it correct sweetheart . How could you not you litteraly were behind me when I was shopping" he chuckled at the last part .

How could Jay possibly know about my obsession with him? And more importantly, why was he so unnervingly calm in the face of danger?

"It was all part of my plan," Jay continued, his words sending a chill down my spine. "I knew you were obsessed with me, so I decided to play along. But now that the tables have turned, it's time for you to realize who's really in control." He sighed as he sat me down on the bed , holding my hands in his own "we are meant to be darling , psychos like us are destined to be with each other for eternity and it's about time you accept it - not like you have a choice"

As Jay spoke, a sense of dread washed over me, the realization dawning that I had vastly underestimated him. He was not the helpless victim I had imagined him to be; he was a predator, lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike when least expected. He was the danger and i was the victim but did I seem to oppose the idea ? Fuck no , how can I when even as fear coursed through my veins, there was a part of me that couldn't help but feel a twisted sense of exhilaration. Jay's admission of his own obsession with me sent a thrill coursing through my body, igniting a fire within me that burned brighter than any fear or doubt.

In that moment, I knew that I had a choice to make: to succumb to the darkness that threatened to consume me, or to embrace it fully and revel in the intoxicating power it offered. And as I gazed into Jay's eyes, his gaze burning with an intensity that mirrored my own, I made my decision to fall in the darkness afterall was there any kind of experience that could make you complete other than knowing that the one you're in madly love with is also in love with you but just more insanely.

As we gazed at each other , there was a loud voice heard "CUT !! YOU GUYS WERE AMAZING" we both smiled as we heard the director . This was our 3rd music video shooting together after one of the first ones went viral . This was a new concept to us though it did not at. all. mean the love we showed , we presented was fake . We've been in a relationship for the past 7 years and been married for 2 now and it was the bestest decison of my life , he's made me the happiest I've ever been and I would not have it any other way . As the director was done talking to him , Jay approached me as he embraced me in an affectionate hug , our bodies fitting each other like a puzzle . He whispered "We really are meant to be , aren't we darling?" In my opinion we are not so different from the characters we just played and that's the thrill in our life .

i assume youre speaking with regards to some general sentiment that has been floating around

not that i have some definitive judgment on what is and isn’t okay, but i understand and think it’s fine for people to not like her hanging out with brittany. that’s not such a big deal, people have reactions to stuff like this in passing every day in the world.

its the sense of expectation that i see from the way people talk about it that makes me worry, if anything.

for me it’s moreso a philosophy of life that i’ve decided for myself, where i believe it’s not worth putting the energy into getting fired up over certain things that i really can’t change. in this case the certain thing is “who taylor shows herself socializing with” — i would rather put any extra energy i have at the end of the day into other things that improve my everyday. of course, people have every right to feel uncomfortable and speak on it. it’s not my place to say people should not feel certain ways. but i do think it’s worthwhile to point out when i think it might be an energy sink, though. based on observation. point out opportunities for people to minimize the hit point damage they might take.

for i do worry sometimes people assume that they will be able to influence taylor’s actions. and when it doesn’t happen they get frustrated. and it’s just a recipe for disaster in terms of maintaining one’s peace as a taylor fan.

i’ve been here just since 2018 and in that limited time i have seen time and again how taylor responds to (or doesn’t respond to) stuff like this, and all the people she’s gone on to be around, and i’ve just decided it’s not worth the effort for me to get into each and every thing that doesn’t sit well with me. because by and large it’s just gonna happen anyway, and again.

“problematic fave” used to be a phrase that was thrown around a lot and i do think it’s useful in a way, people all around the world use this kind of phrase and its logic to engage with shades of grey so as to avoid falling into a crisis of conscience each day. i think a lot of people engage in fandom for people that aren’t passing a purity test but just say oh yeah they’re my problematic fave, and then move on about their day. it probably shouldn’t be wholly one approach or the other but, some amount of balance might be good in ones life, i think.

i'm not sure if i've shared this already but i used to be heavily obsessed with the idea of nico performing at the reputation tour as a surprise guest

kayla always "invites" nico to concerts (which nico goes to because he will literally go to any concert if asked), but it's really just because there's a possible chance of being pulled backstage and meeting the artist with a famous singer next to her (nico is fully aware of this) but also bc nico's a rlly fun concert buddy

kayla out of the apollo household is the most up to date with any sort of pop culture, which is a bit ironic seeing as she's one of the two who have absolutely nothing to do with the music industry

nico braiding hair is one of my absolute favvvv hc's, and i was able to fit it in with kayla during one of the greatest of luxuries chapters, but he 100% also braids the hair of the girls in his crew (if they want it), and kayla ofc, and piper sometimes - he used to braid bianca's hair and bianca used to braid his (until she died, at which nico started to braid his own hair because he liked it out of his face and it became like second nature to quickly put it in a braid - at least until he cut it off lmao)

^^ and this is very cute bc i imagine that darren did lots of braids for kayla (girl dad darren my heart) when she was like practicing archery and stuff (and this was when she had longer hair, i imagine she cut a good chunk of it off in middle school and continued to cut it a bit shorter every year since then), and so when kayla moved in with apollo, he watched so many youtube tutorials to try and get it right until nico walked in on an attempt at making two french braids and was like "uh, want some help with that?" and cue a braiding lesson for apollo. apollo knows how to braid hair now (even though kayla doesn't need it as much seeing as her hair is so short), but she still has nico do it a lot of the time (brother sister bonding my heart THEY'RE SIBLINGS YOUR HONOR)

there is a picture somewhere of little will leo and nico at the T party (backstage meet and greet) of the speak now world tour with speak now era taylor. will never did realize until like college that apollo had reached out ahead of time to make sure he was chosen for a meet and greet (fun fact, sn world tour had an la date on aug 23) on his birthday, and thought that andrea had just chosen him randomly

okok so ummmmm ,,, this took me a while to write down bc i fucking SUCK at writing down my thoughts in actually coherent ways so i hope this all makes sense:

i think sozo's sorta the black sheep where he comes from . a lot of stuff abt ants is usually abt how BRUTAL they are toward other ant colonies , literally ripping each other apart an kidnapping babies n shit . so i think sozo's colony was sort of like that—very warrior-oriented with not much space for anything else . then there was sozo , who didn't have Any interest in fighting or anything to do with battle , instead WAY more interested in fungi an stuff

in his colony (and in others) fungi r generally treated as life-threatening pests , since EVERY ant ever knows tha horrifying tale of cordyceps an how they'll rip apart a colony from tha inside out n whatnot . most of sozo's colony just thinks his fascination with fungi is simply a childhood phase , that he'll get over it n realize how dangerous they are , but he doesn't because it's NOT A PHASE , MOM !!!!!!!! he wants to be a MYCOLOGIST , not a WARRIOR !!!!!!

(his colony is also in silk cradle . i forgot to mention that so i'm putting that here)

so sozo ends up leaving his home as a young adult after growing up as a social outcast , wanting to pursue his own dreams instead of just listening to whatever his queen wanted . he eventually Does become a mycologist an one day , ends up at shamura's grand temple to add his knowledge of fungi to their great library , which is when they first officially meet each other . at first it's a fairly generic follower meeting his god type thing , but after a while of talking their conversations slowly get more casual an they begin regarding each other as friends , an then eventually Close friends . maybe they could've become more if sozo hadn't gone off to anura , discovered those mushroomos, and ,,, well . you know what happens to him .

eventually shamura forgets about sozo (since this all takes place After narinder's betrayal) but they occasionally get a strange , yearning feeling ,,, like someone used to come to them everyday to talk about ,,, something. they can't quite remember what , though ...

it's only after the lamb takes over , when shamura is indoctrinated and sozo gets brought back from the dead (then promptly goes through rehab) that they meet again . shamura doesn't quite recall sozo an he only vaguely remembers them , but they still like to hang out together , especially as shamura's head injury slowly stabilizes into something more manageable for them . shamura likes to hear him talk abt his studies , and sozo likes having an attentive audience . they're really good friends who also maybe wanna kiss (but shamura isn't willing to unpack THOSE emotions yet bc they have weird feelings abt romantic relationships after that whole fiasco with their ex a few millennia ago but sssshhhhhh)

anyway that's abt it :3 i'm just realizing it kinda dipped into sozura toward the end there but ehhhhh that's still TECHNICALLY a sozo headcanon if u squint so

I admittedly haven't done a ton of worldbuilding yet. All the cats in RubbleRousers live in one large city called Metropolis, which isn't based on any one real world city but instead is instead just a generic representation of a big city.

As for different zones, I'd never considered that, but that's a very interesting idea! For example, players could choose to live in a residential area, a commercial area, an industrial area, etc (as opposed to your classic forest, river, swamp, moor, mountain sort of thing)

There are no humans, nor are there human zombies. There are, however, zombie cats, as well as other animals and their zombie variants.

I hope to include a linear quest-line alongside other gameplay elements. This will allow for some linear progression, though RubbleRousers will not contain a straight forward levelling system. I haven't started writing this yet.

So far, most of the progress on RubbleRousers has been developing the basis of the game. I have a solid foundation of a lot of the elements. Soon, I hope to get to work on more exciting stuff, like the storyline.

As for how the apocalypse affects the cats' lives, there's a few ways. Most cats in RubbleRousers are either former house pets or the descendants of former house pets. Of course, there's some who were stray or feral prior to the apocalypse, but not a ton. As such, cats had to escape their owner's homes and learn to fend for themselves.

Rather than sleeping outside, most cats make their homes in abandoned buildings. They make use of human garbage for all sorts of things, including clothing (like you can see on our mascot!)

Zombies are a constant threat, alongside dogs and other animals. Like most zombie settings, the "zombie virus" so to speak is spread through biting. As such, an encounter with a zombie of any species is incredibly dangerous.

All the animals of the city are competing to survive, and there is only so much food to go around.

my general headcanon is that dante and vergil are able to function together as a semi-competent human being, as they both have useful everyday skills, but separate them and they're goddamn disasters.

example: dante CANNOT cook anything more than basic out-of-the-box recipes or he will burn the kitchen to a crisp. dante can, however, make and fix his own clothes like a professional stylist and tailor(he has to, since he pissed off all the tailors and dry cleaners in the city)

For myself lookwise i have light reddish brown thick wavy hair that goes down to my waist, but my roots are black since it was dyed. Hi! I absolutely love all your fanfiction that I've read so far. I don't know if this has ever been asked so feel free to ignore or point me toward the answer if it already exists. The thing that I admire the most about your fanfiction is how clearly you capture the character's voices. I can literally hear them in my head whenever I read the dialogue you write. I can't think of a single piece of dialogue that you've written where I've thought "Hmmm no... I'm not sure that character would say that". And though you are writing in third person, your narration is so clearly conveying the thoughts of the character whose perspective you are writing from. I feel like I'm in their heads! I'm wondering HOW you are able to do that so clearly! Do you have some kind of method to observing canon dialogue and then conjuring what the characters would say? How do you match their natural speaking styles, inflections, mannerisms, etc? Or maybe you just have a natural gift for it? I'm in the process of writing a fanfiction and it's so important to me that I capture their voices well, particularly because the two characters are extremely different and I want to capture those differences as I switch perspectives. If you have any insight, tips or suggestions, I'd welcome them!

I’m sorry my reply was delayed — I was actually think about how to answer! I don’t think of myself as being a very systematic writer in that I don’t use any formal tools or have any formal training, so what I’ve done here is verbalized my own process in the hopes that it’ll give some insights. You asking this question has helped me think about my own process in a way I never really have before, so thanks for this fun mental exercise lmao!

My usual caveat when answering these wonderful writing-process asks: I have no formal training, as mentioned above, and this is entirely based on my own experience, and thus should be taken with a grain of salt! 😂🙏

I’m not sure what fandom you’re writing for, so I’ll be as general as possible, but if you want to know more about a specific fandom or character(s), let me know! 😂

We’re thinking about two things here: 

How the person says stuff (speech patterns, inflections)

What the person is saying (thoughts/what’s going on in their head)

(see below the cut for the rest!) 

How the person says stuff: capturing the “voice”

The main thing I do when trying to capture someone’s voice is, quite literally, just listen to it a lot LOL. Whenever I get obsessed with interested in writing a new character, I typically save video clips of all of their dialogues so I can pull them up on my computer at will to listen to. When it comes to what exactly I’m listening for, there are several things to consider:

Formality: do they speak casually or formally? Are there contexts when they might speak more or less formally/casually (e.g. with certain people, in certain social settings)? Do they use a lot of contractions when they’re talking (e.g. don’t/can’t vs. do not/cannot)? Do they drop the ‘g’ at the ends of words ending in ‘ing’ e.g. “I’m gettin’ out of here”?

Vocabulary: do they use basic everyday vocabulary, or do they tend to use more rare/unusual words? Do they have training of some kind that would make them more prone to using special words in a specific context (e.g. mages in Dragon Age using magical jargon)? 

Cursing (a special and VERY IMPORTANT case of vocabulary): Do they curse? If they do curse, how often/in what circumstances? What is the “worst” word they use in canon, and that you can imagine them using based on what you know about them? Sometimes you have to use your imagination a little here depending on the rating of the game/show etc., and that’s okay; e.g. they never use the word “fuck” in Horizon Zero Dawn/Horizon Forbidden West but I can’t imagine that world existing without it LOL.

Cadence/lyricality: I don’t even know if these are the right words to explain this. But some characters have a distinctive rhythm or “musicality” to their speech that can make all the difference to whether they sound like themselves or not when you’re writing them. Some good examples of this are Solas from Dragon Age (whenever he’s talking about the ancient past), Nil from Horizon, even Geralt in the Witcher 3 (the game specifically, not the books or the show). Also important, for these characters with a special “rhythm” to their speech, do they always talk like that, or is it only in certain contexts (see re: Solas)? 

Accent: a character’s accent doesn’t “look” any different when written on the page, but it’s a obviously a huge part of whether they sound like themselves when you're reading their words in your head. Different accents use the above features in different ways, too, so the idea of an “accent” ties back to the elements mentioned above. This is especially relevant when writing someone where the “standard language/lingua franca” may not be their first language, so they may have more hesitations in their speech, their sentence structure may be simpler, their curse words may be in their first language, etc. 

This probably all sounds like a lot to juggle. But in practice, basically what I do is just imagine the character’s voice in my head, then just write the dialogue to sound as much like them as possible, while holding the memory of their voice in my mind. If I start to feel like the memory of their voice is getting a little blurred in my mind, I pull up video clips of them talking and listen to them again until their voice is clear in my mind so I can continue writing. If the character is a tricky biscuit, I might listen to clips of them talking before every writing session just to refresh  their voice in my mind. 

You mentioned mannerisms in your ask, and I’ll talk about this separately! Some characters have mannerisms/body language that is very characteristic to them (e.g. Alva and Drakka in Horizon Forbidden West), but for other fandoms, you might not have much in terms of canon body language to go on — for example, the Dragon Age games (everyone does the “Bioware Lean” LOL. You know what I’m talking about. It is not very character-specific). I usually invent little physical quirks/fidgets that seem in keeping with each character, and the context in which they might do those things. E.g. does the character run their hands through their hair when they’re anxious? Do they do a little hop when they’re excited? Do they have their arms folded most of the time?

What the person is saying: getting into their head

This is the topic where I might be less helpful (even less helpful HAHA) because I don’t do anything particularly systematic or formal to keep important information straight about a character. But there are a few important things that have their own sections within my outlines, which I’ll expand on below. 

Stuff I made up

One important thing to keep in mind with fanfic is that no matter how much canon info we know about a character, canon does not give us everything. Canon might not even give you a character’s age! Every version of a character I write is partly headcanon/stuff that I made up, which means it may not match other people’s headcanons. What matters is that you keep it consistent within your own understanding and fleshing-out of the character. For instance, a lot of the time I’m inventing a sexual history for a character since that stuff isn’t explicitly mentioned in most fandoms LOL. The key here is that whenever I’m writing that character moving forward, even if their sexual history is made up by me, I’m sticking to it and staying consistent with what I’ve invented for them. 

Core motivations, core conflicts, and formative relationships

This gets at the big, underlying foundations of the character — what made them who they are, and why they react to the world in the way they do. Who do they love, and why? Who hurt them badly? What personal traits do they have (e.g. are they a “lawful good” sort of person) that play a big role in how they see the world? For instance, in the Horizon games, Aloy’s relationship with Rost and her sense of connection with Elisabet Sobeck are huge influences on everything she does. In the Witcher (games and books), Geralt has a core conflict between “witchers don’t get involved in politics/world affairs” and his own sense of morality, which combines in fascinating ways with his overriding need to make sure the people he loves are safe. Knowing these very broad, core traits/relationships will be central for helping you decide how your character reacts to various events and people in your story. You might have some canon information about these important core traits/relationships, but you also might be making a lot of this stuff up, and that's okay; as mentioned above, it's just important to keep consistent with what you came up with for that person. 

For romances: why them? 

Since I’m always writing a romantic and/or sexual relationship, I always have a section about why those characters are together. Why them? Why those people specifically? What’s so compelling about the two (or more!) of them together that makes them worth writing about? What is it about those people that makes them good for each other or bad for each other, and that makes us want to follow their relationship? For me, this can be a pretty meaty part of the outline, since it’s so central to what I love to write. Having a clear picture of why you are writing these people together, and why they’re interesting together, will help you shape their interactions and how they react to each other as your fic goes on, and how they react together to external events. 

Knowing the information outlined above then forms a foundation for everything you write about that character moving forward. If you know those things about the character, then getting into their headspace is just a matter of using those foundations to predict how they would react whenever new situations arise.

Ocs and skirts/dress

Jin: I honestly have not really thought about Jin wearing a skirt often. Not saying that they don't but I don't know how they would feel about it.

Amber: Doesn't wear them often unless for a fancy event. Other than that, she's prefers pants, shorts and the like. Better for work anyway.

Kenji: At the moment, I think he's okay with stuff that looks like a skirt, or wearing a skirt with pants underneath. But a skirt-skirt? Eeeeeh, I don't think he's comfortable with those. I might change my mind tho, all of these are in the moment gut instincts.

Aiko: Was honestly always a tomboy , wore overalls 95% of the time. She has worn skirts before, both when she was younger and like. Rarely as an adult. She doesn't mind them but prefers something she can do acrobatics in ( she says as she does flips and shit in overalls).

Beryl: Similar to Jin, I've always seen them in pants/leggings, but never a skirt, but I don't know how she feels about them.

Danica: More often than not, is wearing a skirt or a dress. Probably not the most practical for Sinnoh 's climate but she likes looking cute. This isn't to say she hasn't worn pants ever lmao, she just generally prefers skirts and dresses.

Kiran: I don't think he cares lmao. As long as it's comfy and he can sleep in it, then he's good. I usually see him pants though. Tbh, I can see Kiran as a " wear the same outfit for several days" type of guy.

Alexis: Wears skirts as often as he wears pants. The way I see his "main" outfit is him literally wearing a long skirt. So yeah, he wears skirts and dresses often, it's part of his everyday wardrobe. With fancy events he tends to play safe and wear a suit, but he's slowly getting past that anxiety.

Elliot: Never minded skirts, but always preferred pants. Similarly, her usual go to for fancy events are suits, unless she sees a dress she know she'll rock.

Eva: Very similar to Alexis, skirts and pants are pretty equal to her. In recent years I would say she's gotten really attached to jumpsuits - though that's probably bc she works in them lmao.

Wayne: Honestly? I'm not fully sure. But I think Lacey being his little sister has subjected him to lots of dress up, which ironically made him more used to dresses and skirts as a whole. I think he would like sport skirts best, since he still wants to move around and exercise in them.

Jude - literally wears them whatever, whenever. So. Yeah they are comfortable with skirts and dresses.

Dante: So I never really thought about Dante wearing skirts and dresses until recently. And unlike Jin and Beryl, I kinda have a feel about how he feels about them. Like me, he never really thought about it, at least when it came to himself. But post xy m, Dante is thinking about a lot of things and how his own view of the world is slightly....limited? So the thought of if he would enjoy wearing a skirt has crossed his mind occasionally. I think he would enjoy them, though there might be a lot of insecurity and questioning that he has to go through in order to truly feel comfortable.

Ames: Not fully sure tbh. I know she often wears shorts and pants though. At fancy/ cultural events? Maybe yeah.

Ray: Similar to Ames.

Naomi: LOVES skirts and dresses. Especially "fancy" ones. If she could wear a fancy dress everyday she would.

Carol: Likes skirts! Not as much as Naomi but they like them enough. Would actually mix n mash a skirt and tux for fancy events ( think luz from owl house)

Luca: Likes skirts and dresses!!! Would wear them as often as pants n shorts.

R.B: Was kinda forced to present more masculine for a good chunk of her life. She doesn't exactly hate it ( she finds it mostly comfortable) but wearing skirts and dresses really ups the euphoria. Overall, now that she's in a safe environment she feels safe enough to express herself ( she doesn't exact hate the school uniforms btw, but she does wish there was the option for skirts. )

• sometimes karter and her meet at his place just to sit in his room and draw or paint in silence for hours. That’s how they bond.

• strongly rejects her parents’ desires and ways. They don’t even try to argue with her anymore. They, just like everyone else, abandoned the idea of ever being able to grasp what she’s thinking about.

• though people seem to view her as an alien (you do too, kind of), she gets you like nobody else does and, for some reason, she feels like you get her too; like you somehow always find a way to see eye to eye with her.

• for this reason, you’re her alien. That’s how she calls you.

• you’re saved as ‘my little UFO´ in her phone–

• you’re her first love. Nobody really ever understood Skyh or even managed to grab her attention long enough before. You’re very special to her.

• frogs and bees and spiders are her besties.

• absolutely obsessed with bugs of all kinds.

• big fan on skinny dipping. Her favorite activity is undressing herself, undressing you, then jump into any icy lake she finds.

• likes to lie on the ground. in the snow, grass, cold parquet; pretty much anywhere.

• only gets talkative when you two are alone. She doesn’t like crowds and doesn’t bother to try to interact with people in general. She usually remains quiet when her siblings are around.

• has a very hard time trusting people (she has more faith in bugs than any human ), but she does trust the good hearts of her siblings and you, of course.

• into journaling. Whenever she gets the chance, she sits down and draws and writes about little things that she likes, new insects she discovered, random(like, very random) thoughts and cute stuff you did during the day. <3

• changes her nail polish everyday. She loves to paint your nails – if you’re into that, of course.
