I have been in a love/hate relationship with this video for 2 years, making sure it was perfect, but I'm so happy and proud of how it turned out. This is my first Nirvana In Fire video, and hopefully, I will be making more.

I came across my SVSSS Xi Yang Yang AU again and I love the idea so much because it’s mashing two series I love together, but also it’s pretty…cringey. 😂

I know, I know; embrace the cringe and cringe culture is dead and all that… But it’s so random and I am still very much alive so can’t help it if I get embarrassed haha. I thought I’d share a “preview” of some of the designs anyway—at least before I can overthink it any further or regret it and delete it—but yeah!

SVSSS but as wolves and sheep. Specifically from Xi Yang Yang in the post-Mighty Little Defenders style. 🥺

I hope I can finally digitally finish all the designs I have someday so I can fully embrace and share the cringe with you all!

Not satisfied with this but :/ Sanxingdui-inspired Erlang Shen design brainstorm because I have a pet theory that the numerous blue-green skinned designs of him might be due in part to his Shu heritage (modern Sichuan area, where the sanxingdui artifacts were unearthed). Also his Heavenly Eye being interpreted as a third eye too but that's less so relevant to this design.

After finishing Nirvana in fire, I just have one question. Why does everyone in the imperial family seem to know where Lin Shu's birth marks and beauty marks were ?

Nihuang was his fiancee so I get it and Consort Jing was probably his doctor as a child so they both might have seen it. But the emperor ? How would he knows that ?

This is one of those hella complicated, hella melodramatic rollercoaster of a ride historical cdrama’s. It’s so much fun, yet exhausting at times too. It does take a handful of episodes to fully get into, but once you do, if you’re into this type of genre, since this won’t be everyones cup of tea, you’ll be fully hooked. The female lead has the best storyline and character growth throughout even though she’d could be a bit obtuse at times but no more worse then her counterpart. The main male lead I wanted to throttle him and don’t get me started on the ‘brother’. All the torture he put his ‘sister’ through. Ugh. In the end though, with all the tragedies, it made a excellent melodramatic drama.
