my stubbornness and chronic inclination to just not do things means that I actually experience enshittification on a multi-year delay for a lot of things. "just use airpods or buy a stupid adapter, you can't get phones with a headphone jack anymore" okay then I will keep using my 6 year old monstrosity until either it physically won't turn on anymore or manufacturers come to their senses. "you have to update the app to access this new feature" well I've been fine without the feature this long and the update sucks so I don't think I will. "yeah LED headlights and touchscreens are the worst but you can't buy a car without them anymore" no problem my 2004 infiniti still runs and I have a cassette adapter to play music (which plugs into the convenient headphone jack on my phone so I can play music from my outdated spotify app with a functional shuffle button). "we use AI now!" okay I use a different program/app/site now, peace.

Hi! Just finished the second season of jujutsu kaisen and I'm ruined. But i wanted to read some good fic about my babies. So i was wondering if you have some itafushi fic recommendations?? Angst, fluff, whatever, just something you think more people should read or just something you like :)
hihi!! i apologize in advance...i am a bit picky with the fics i read and i didn't want to rec anything w manga spoilers ghfdkgjd also i have strong preference for angst & heavier subjects, so i hope that is okay too
this is also in many ways a secret way for me to plug my lovely friends/mutuals. they are all so so talented and deserve all the love.
multi-chapters
and i've been tryin' not to feel it by hijinks_n_lowjinks | college au, slow burn | 105.8k :
by a very dear friend of mine and also one of the first itfs fics i read. probably one of the fics that inspired me to start writing my first itfs fic. jinx does an excellent job of conveying megumi's daddy issues and working them into itfs's relationship. i love the slow burn and i lovee the mutual pining.
Gasoline by hijinks_n_lowjinks | vampire/post-apocalypse au, blood/gore | 33.3k (ongoing) :
this is my favorite actively updating fic rn!! i've been told that it has similar vibes to the last of us which i have not watched/played but !! also has so brilliant imagery. due to the nature of the subject, the imagery is a bit graphic, but if you're at all into horror, definitely worth the investment.
Like the Moon Haunts the Sun by constellationqueen | atla au, slow burn | 56.9k (ongoing) :
another dear friend of mine!!! sam is extraordinarily talented, and they have put so much love and time into developing this fic, from adapting the world, to plotting, to relationships. and it really shows. an absolute masterpiece that really sucks you into the story.
Slaughterhouse by lyrebirdswrites | vampire au, read tags !! | 33.1k (ongoing) :
by a very talented mutual of mine! you may be thinking: "wow, another vampire au?" yes. this is a work of art. this fic really sticks with you, it's so beautiful and memorable. the way that the trust and intimacy between itfs is built despite their dynamic is so masterful, this fic is truly a feast.
you give me so many butterflies by sanguinerose | and they were roommates! | 48.7k :
another very talented mutual! this is a big comfort fic for me. if you're looking for something a bit softer, this is definitely the one for me. the relationships are so well-built, both between megumi and yuuji, but also megumi and stsg. the escalation of intimacy in this fic is so well-paced too.
one-shots
Between Waves by megsologist | no curse au, smoking | 2.5k :
i am obsessed w cig addict megumi and i don't even know why. but this does it so well, like the cigs themselves are a good representation of the closeness between itfs, and the imagery is beautiful too. also on the softer side, not as heavy as some of my other recs.
don't have to wait on me by alkhale | canonverse, pining | 8.1k :
this is part of the itfs required reading i feel, and for a good reason too. their personalities are so well-translated from canon. i love the gojo-megumi relationship in addition to the itfs dynamic. the pining here is just too good.
futile devices by jellyjully | post-canon but written in like 2021 so no spoilers | 25.3k :
the most recent addition to my collection. this Should be part of the itfs required reading list but for some reason it's not. i'm a sucker for overcoming distance and building intimacy in fics, so if that's up your alley, definitely give this a read. basically yuuji is expelled from japan post-shibuya, and he and megumi reconnect after years...beautiful fic.
here and where you are by cityboys | post-canon but also written in like 2021 so no spoilers | 17.3k :
my first itfs fic...my fav itfs fic...i feel the need to issue the warning that i read this to force myself to cry. i shan't say much because i don't want to take away the shock and pain :)
let me hold both your hands in the holes of my sweater by sanguinerose | hurt/comfort | 2.3k :
a beautiful hurt/comfort fic by my lovely mutual. very soft and tender. i love fics that build a ton of emotional intimacy with little physical contact, and this fic does a beautiful job of that.
honestly, anything from hijinks_n_lowjinks, constellationqueen, sanguinerose, lyrebirdswrites, asleeplessmalice, iceedrpepper, or lostlanguages will be well worth your time!

Thinking up some wild combinations of expansion devices for a VIC-20 to create the ultimate VIC. Idk, is this something y'all do with your computers for the fun of it?
If you're not sure what you're looking at, the first one is a VIC-1020 expansion chassis with a VIC-20 plugged into it, along with:
C2N datasette
Xetec Super Graphix Gold centronix printer adapter
SD2IEC
3 way user port expander
1660 Modem
VIC-REL relay expansion
VIC-1111 16K RAM Cartridge
VIC-1211A Super Expander with 3K RAM Cartridge
VIC-1213 Machine Language Monitor
VIC-1112 IEEE-488 Interface Cartridge (replica)
Protecto 80 40/80 Column Board
My custom VIC-20 Dual Serial Cart Mk I
Tumblr media
The second one here is a different 6-slot multi-cartridge expander with those last 6 cartridges installed.
The thing is, this wouldn't even fully expand the VIC-20's RAM, you'd need a denser RAM cart, or maybe more expansion slots.
The question is more about what your target use case is intended to be, if not "the most powerful VIC-20 in the history of ever". What job is the VIC supposed to be doing that it might need all of these peripherals? Most likely, you'd be attaching the things you need as you need them, and there are so many other things that could be in the mix here that aren't, for example a 1540 disk drive, several other printers, game cartridges, a programmers aid cartridge, a user port serial adapter... I could keep going.
Tumblr media
Most of the time, I don't need nearly as many cartridges installed. In fact, the vast majority of the time I'm running just a Super Expander or a Penultimate cartridge of some kind. Either because I'm working with a minimal setup or I really just want the all-in-one functionality that a Penultimate provides (although the latter takes a bit of setup to configure the same functions that several physical cartridges provide)
Tumblr media
More often when I am doing a multi-cart setup, I go with my 4-slot expansion due to size constraints. Fortunately, it lets me fit an IEEE-488 adapter, super expander or penultimate, machine language monitor, and now my dual serial cart -- all without going overboard.

I'm not, like, a super-experienced international traveler, but one thing I have found after a couple recent trips is: don't even bother trying with voltage converters, especially "universal" ones (those giant cubes which can adapt any socket). I've tried two and they both just didn't work at all: they'd either do nothing or "cycle" on and off continuously in a way which couldn't actually provide power.
Instead, do this:
bring only devices which can charge over USB-C. Which is most things these days, so replace/upgrade anything which can't.
get a multi-port USB-C charger which can accept both major voltages (110 and 220 V) and frequencies (50 and 60 Hz). It will say in all that tiny print near the plug whether it can do this. All of Anker's GaN chargers qualify, for example.
once you have a charger which can accept any voltage/frequency, then you just need to get a plug adapter instead of a voltage converter. These are cheaper, smaller, and more reliable - they don't even do anything, they're just inert pieces of metal which turn one plug shape into another. You also don't need to bother with "universal" ones: adapters are so small and cheap it's better to just get one for each plug type you plan to encounter.
Take this advice and save yourself a lot of frustration.

Hi :) how are you? I wanted to ask do you have any TUA fanfic suggestions?
Boy do I ever! All of mine are Five centric since he’s heavily my fav, but a lot of other characters are involved too.
Dealing with doppelgängers is a good one for alternate Five who never time travelled. The Hargreeves we know have to work with him to get back to their timeline and it features lots of angst and plot twists!
Dystopian Misopedia is a S4 theory fic centred on Five and how he navigates a Reginald-rules world as a physics 13 year old. Haven’t reread this for some time but was one of the first multi chapter fics I read
Counting blessings is a pre-S4 release where Five ends up living with Diego and Lila (a personal fav trope of mine) and has to open up about his struggles of adapting to their new world
Guilt Trip is where Five gets spiked during a fight with the Commission and ends up attacking his family. Lots of angst and feels but the comfort is worth it
Lila and Five Vs The New Timeline is a really good series about Five and Lila in there new timeline and how they’re adapting to it. Features 2 fics with their fair share of angst and hurt/comfort. Please do read the tags on this one though
Holding It Together is one that everyone recommends but for good reason. I adore this fic and its whole series. Features yet another alternate Five who never time travelled as well as 2 OC’s who are such good characters and help out Hargreeves to get back to their timeline while helping Five with his mental state
Thought Contagion is a really good fic where Reginald shows Five the future and uses him as the Commission did to show the future how he wants. The fic follows after his funeral and how the siblings try to help Five recover from his past
Cozytober is a collection of fluff and hurt/comfort fics about Five and other characters. Really good ideas in here with a small 2 chapter AU - also recommend checking out the author of you like Five & Diego as a duo
suffer no fools is another fic where Five lives with Diego and Lila post-S3. Features an autistic Five and delves into a more childlike version of him but is really good for angst
somewhere ages and ages hence is about Five seeing his siblings in the clothes they died in and how he reacts to such, as well as taking the clothes that he’d stolen in the apocalypse. Ch1 focuses on the angst while ch2 is more comfort
What If I Just Didn’t Do It? Is another S4 idea where the siblings reconnect with Five after they all split up and it shows Five’s life in foster as well as retconning a few S4 plots
A Little Psycho a Little Longer is a fic where the symptoms of Paradox Psychosis last longer than in canon and how Five deals with them
These are all the fics in my bookmarks but there’s tons more of you dive deep enough. As always, check the tags for all these fics jjst in case!
And shameless plug of my own AO3 account where I try to write fics when I have time. A small multi chapter one might be coming soon tho!

Sorry i live under a rock but whats a map?
omg do i live in a world where people dont know what maps are anymore??? what have we become (not mad at you anon im being silly)
TO ACTUALLY EXPLAIN maps mean multi animator projects, they're produced as passion projects usually free of any monetary incentive outside of individual creators putting wips/early content on their patreon and such if they have that.
basically a host cuts up the song into "parts", where it's either free game (which was mostly the case for 2010s maps, less so now), driven by a script/designs/instructions for what to animate in order to follow a continuity, or its completely storyboarded! animators will each take one part, sometimes several, which vary USUALLY from about 3-7 seconds of time. sometimes people collaborate/split up the work too.
back before things got REALLY intense and the standard of quality in the warrior cats fandom skyrocketed, this was a really good opportunity for smaller/inexperienced animators to find traction without a huge workload, because they only had to animate a couple of seconds. and pieced together it would be one big amv! a little while ago in the wc fandom making maps of scripted aus was really popular, and a couple of sparse people would even do maps of their ocs, and with rise's love for aus/fics being so apparent from my time here my brain automatically correlated the two lol
most "reanimated" projects of scenes of shows/movies are technically maps under a certain theme, but the ones the wc fandom did are popular for being completely original in composition since they were adapting parts of a book. and i swear to god something was put in the water and it was probably CRACK COCAINE because these people are CRAZY JUST LOOK AT THIS!!!!
youtube
sorry of course i had to use the opportunity to plug louixie. genuinely digital james baxter and she makes WARRIOR CATS MAP PARTS
wc community is crazy because as long as you have the patience to write up a script, organize a community, find traction in there, sort through applications, and maybe doodle up a couple of designs you could just get other people to make the amvs you want for you just because it comes from genuine shared love for the source material, and that's magical 2 me,,, even if there are some inter-community issues lolol

Maestro - W-2 sound system for woodwinds
"In an age where more and more pedal companies are cropping up and more and more esoteric circuits are resurrected to broaden the total tonal spectrum, it’s surprising when new old circuits crop up. Circuits like the S. Hawk Tonal Expander and SRS EQ Exciter ended up enjoying their time in the spotlight by virtue of being undiscovered one-off devices. But it’s even rarer when one such circuit hides in plain sight, but stays obscure for one reason or another. This is the Maestro W-2.
To be clear, there’s a definite reason why the W-2 didn’t get much due, and we’ll definitely get into that. And there’s a strong possibility that you, the reader, have actually heard of this unit. But the Maestro line is well celebrated in gear circles, both from its individual units and clones of more obscure devices becoming more popular than the originals (the DOD Carcosa becoming more well-known than the FZ-1S, for example). Instances like this are becoming less and less common, but there’s at least one more unit in the Maestro line that I don’t think many folks are talking about—stay tuned for that.
However, the W-2 remained in relative secrecy for three reasons, chief among them that it’s designed to be used in conjunction with a woodwind instrument (saxophone or clarinet) and special pickup. This generally implied a couple things: One is that the unit would only be purchased by reed effects enthusiasts or studio owners. Secondly, if you lose the pickup you were well out of luck. Even though a handful of units at the time used the same pickup, later models didn’t include the strange output configuration, making them harder to find as time goes by.
The second reason for the lack of recognition is the fragility of the unit itself. Finding them in good working order is a difficult feat, and finding someone to work on them is harder still. The units are notoriously hard to repair; because they feature a handful of moving parts, finding replacements can prove difficult. This leads right into the third reason.
Plugging a guitar into the W-2 is not feasible unless you provide some outboard equipment, which isn’t included with the unit, nor did Maestro offer such a device to make this conversion. Essentially, your guitar outputs a signal that’s low, relative to the expected input level of the woodwind mic. Such a device is a simple preamp booster, which Electro-Harmonix had been offering for a handful of years, but Maestro did not provide such an offering, and made no effort to divulge this info to non-woodwindists. To make matters worse, the input jack is a eighth-inch type, so you had to chase down an adapter.
In short, there just weren’t many of these produced, and the pickups were similarly scarce. When trying to redeem the value of the W-2 with a guitar, players will wonder if they’re connecting the device up properly at all, and when no sound comes out, they’ll assume the unit is broken. And given its reputation, that’s the end of the line. It’s a perfect storm for cult status, really.
Knowing this, once everything is hooked up and dialed in, you’re treated to a rich synthy sound along with many different horn emulations. Like the USS-1 in the same line, the W-2 is multi-effect unit, but unlike that unit which sought to transform the guitar into some type of malleable synth spectre, the W-2 cleanly emulates a variety of instruments, while adding tone controls for each section and a nifty tremolo section.
Much has been made about the relative limbo of this unit, as well as the limitations and the lengths that one must traverse to simply connect an instrument. But like many other obscure devices from this era, this particular one was used by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Though many things are mistakenly attributed to the man’s sound, the Maestro W-2 is not one of them. Zappa’s clarinet section ran into the W-2 and through a particular patch called “Oboe D'Amore” on “Dog Breath in the Year of the Plague,” from 1969’s Uncle Meat.
While Zappa actually used clarinets to generate those tones, you can thank that simple fact for keeping the prices of the W-2 at relative bay. Had he plugged his guitar into one, the prices on these would be ten times as much and one might not have found its way into the cabinet, and the knowledge of its existence into your head."

some of you have asked me about my crt setup!!
some basic materials you'll need.
CRT TV (duh)
computer or laptop (duh)
HDMI2AV (NOT AV2HDMI)
RCA cords (the red, white and yellow ones)
HDMI to USB converter if your laptop doesn't have HDMI like mine does.
Tumblr media
here is the setup, this is a multi monitor setup but you can just do this with one CRT.
step one: plug in your crt. cord in the back. that will power your crt!
step two: plug in the RCA cables like this.
Tumblr media
step three: plug your RCA cords into the HDMI2AV adapter like so. you'll plug in an HDMI cord on the other side. MAKE SURE IT'S SET TO THE CORRECT SETTING. THERE'S NTSC AND PAL
Tumblr media
if you don't know what yours is, check this map that explains where each one was sold.
Tumblr media
PAL is just a different color encoding system, a bunch of technical stuff you can learn on your own.
step four: plug your HDMI into the USB adapter if you need it. YOU MIGHT NOT. DEPENDS ON YOUR DEVICE.
Tumblr media
i use a windows surface pro and it requires i use this adapter. sucks ass but whatever.
OPTIONAL: if you have ONLY ONE usb port in your computer, consider getting a USB splitter so you can plug multiple things in. i have one.
Tumblr media
and voila. a set-up!
Tumblr media
you can treat these like different displays.
Tumblr media
mines connected by the 3 cords in the front, but if you have more money and can get another adapter and etc etc, you can make these all different.
a few FAQ since i assume quite a few of you have never used crts or vhs players:
whats the ringing sound?: its a ringing sound caused by the transformer in the back, its the 15kHz tone. as you get older, you stop hearing it because you lose high frequency hearing. i cant hear it in one ear because of a radio accident and i bursted my eardrum.
can i stop the ringing?: buy a crt pc. theyre smaller and dont ring as much/at all depending on which one you have.
how do i use my vhs player: you plug the cords into the back of the vhs player and then into the crt.
where do i buy a crt: theyre not in production anymore so you will have to buy it secondhand on markets.
where did you get all your cords: most stores with an electronics section will have it but consider secondhand computer parts store.
what do you do with it: literally watch YouTube, vhs tapes, make vhs tapes (whole different thing) or play video games.
can it run bad apple?: yes
Tumblr media
can it run doom?: yes
Tumblr media
anyways yeah. end tutorial. 🥳

Some assorted plug n’ play/hardline interface headcanons… Depending on frame type, most transformers have a row of ports and at least one spooled cable in the general area of the spark chamber. The exact shape and connection method of these plugs and ports varies wildly depending on age, where they're from, etc. Some have flat ribbon connectors, some have rows of pins, some have interlocking plugs that bear little resemblance to anything humans have come up with. There are, among a certain minority, the classic wall socket/plug type connection.
With the diversity in plugs comes the need for adapters, and boy are there adapters. A human might always carry a condom in case they get lucky; a cybertronian always carries a near-universal adapter. Once linked up, interface ensues by sending pulses of energy directly from one's spark down the cable into the receiving partner; most interfaces have a mutual connection with each bot plugged into their partner.
There's also the question of voltage. The larger the bot, the higher the voltage they produce. Though it's possible for very large and very small bots to interface with the right adapters, it can be easy to send too much voltage through the connection and fry the smaller bot's circuits. The maximum size difference is usually between a larger than average bot (G1 Optimus Prime, Inferno, Blaster, etc.) and a Minibot. Someone like, say, Rumble would get fried to a crisp if he tried something with a larger bot, but average-sized bots (Jazz, Prowl, Ratchet) are safe to interface with.
Just like in real life, male-male cords (that is, a cable with a plug on each end) are extremely dangerous but are manufactured by adventurous bots.
There are multiple “layers” to hardline interface. Surface-level connections allow each partner to send pleasurable impulses to the other. Deeper levels allow them to communicate processor-to-processor and quite literally feel what the other is feeling. The deepest level is almost like a sparkmerge, with two separate frames becoming one united being able to completely control the other, much like a combiner. This level of connection is hard to maintain, though.
Polyamory is common among cybertornians, as is interface with multiple partners. For hardline interface with… say, four partners, there's usually a linear connection.
A is plugged into B, B into C, C into D, and D into A, with energy pulses being delivered to each bot in turn.
There's also a “multi-point connection”, where A is plugged into B, C, and D; B into C, D, and A; and D into A, B, and C. This requires quite a lot of adapters, and often results in a tangled mess among less experienced partners.

Universal Travel Adapter - Power Your Devices Worldwide
Universal Plug Adapter: Your Travel Powerhouse
A universal plug adapter is a handy device that allows you to connect your electronic devices (phones, cameras, laptops) to power outlets in countries with different plug types. Imagine traveling the world and using your devices seamlessly without worrying about incompatible plugs. That's the magic of a universal plug adapter!
Here's how it works:
A universal adapter has built-in pins that can be configured to fit the plug types used in most countries around the world (common ones include US, UK, Europe, and Australia).
You simply slide or press a button to select the appropriate plug configuration for your destination.
The adapter itself doesn't convert voltage. Make sure your devices can handle the voltage range (usually 100-240V) of the country you're visiting. If not, you'll need a separate voltage converter.

Fnaf bitty Ennard (R/Robotic)
Model: 1.0
Version: OG(Funtime)
Size: 9 inches tall(Micro) 3'2 feet tall (Mini) 6'2 feet tall (Fullsize) 9'2 feet tall (Bara)
Personality: Erratic, theatrical, existential, witty, emotionally intense, fragmented
Likes: Complex conversations, masks, dramatic monologues, long hallways, eerie lighting, carnival music, voice mimicry, puzzles, mirrors (but only certain ones), obscure books, quiet attention
Dislikes: Being called “just wires,” static interference, being told to “calm down,” overheating, small confined rooms, forced silence, isolation from other robotic bitties
Compatibility: All Enard bitties have 4 AIs for the 'true experence', so they tend to act like a system or their voicebox may break and make it sound like multiple people are talking at once as more than one AI tries to speak,
Ennard bitties tends to shift tone and behavior rapidly due to their shared AI structure, giving them a sometimes overwhelming presence. They can be deeply philosophical one moment, and eerily humorous the next, often speaking in riddles or layers. They are curious, observant, and oddly empathetic despite their eerie nature.
They require a patient handler who can adapt to inconsistent emotional and behavioral patterns.
They get along best with other robotic bitties, especially those from the Funtime series, and may experience distress or confusion when kept completely alone or with purely organic companions.
Additional info: Only spot wash with disinfectant whips, or remove suit to clean, do not remove suit without permission,
For charging a large, long, cord is provided, able to be plugged into the wall with an adapter or a small solar powered generator that is also provided, bitties can go a month without charge but daily charging is preferable, as after a day or two, depending of the bitty, they must go into a power saving mode and must use their reserves, and they will be very sluggish until a proper recharging takes place,
Performances: Abstract theater, multi-voice narration, experimental dance, existential monologues, mimicry acts, surreal puppet shows, fragmented storytelling(they can never truely remember the full story-)
In Universe: Originally designed as a "combination entity" formed from the AI and structural components of multiple Funtime models, Ennard's function was never meant for stage performance. They were instead a hidden narrative piece—part mystery, part secret. Post-deployment, some Ennards began functioning as lore guides, theme park scare actors, or glitch art installations.
They are not suitable for children or those uncomfortable with psychological performance or AI instability.
Difficulty: Expert
Features: Ennard(fanf 5/sister location)

Sending thanks for the tag to the terrifyingly talented @jamiesfootball <3 <3 <3
Last Song:
Currently watching: Re-watching Daredevil (show of hands for everyone who's been personally victimised by @sighonaraa)
Three ships/dynamics: Roy Kent & crushing feelings of accountability, Jamie Tartt & crushing feelings in general, Me & productivity (please). The serious answer for my favourite dynamic is the 'I hate you - I tolerate you - Stop being funny - Why do I want to spend time with you - Get out of my house asshole - Get out of my HEART ASSHOLE - You're the other half of my soul you stupid bastard' pipeline :)
Favourite colour: Green! Hence the 'emerald' part of my URL. My wardrobe is almost exclusively black though :/ (I've been repeatedly told my clothes don't match my vibe and I am unsure if they were insulting my wardrobe or my vibe. The people saying that were 14-year-olds so there's every chance it was both.)
Currently consuming: Hazelnut coffee & a banana. Delightful flavour combination- highly recommend
First ship: Adult me doesn't really get into shipping but baby me was allll over Robin/Starfire from Teen Titans
Relationship status: Single
Last Movie: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Enjoyed it! This franchise is consistently pretty good about adapting the source material. (Even if the books are always better). It did awaken a burning desire to re-read The Hunger Games trilogy, which I just straight up do not have time for.
Currently working on: I am plugging away at two Ted Lasso fics. First is a multi-chapter 5+1 style in which I contribute to the Sam & Jamie best-friends-agenda (which I cannot write in chronological order to save my life). The other is another long-ish one-shot Jamie & Roy crushing-feelings-vs-crushing-feelings-of-accountability from Jamie's POV, which is making me feel slightly guilty for doing this to him. Oops. I've got about 10 other things that I'm developing from ideas to outline but no idea if any/some/all will be written. As someone who as recently as the new year was like 'wow fic writers are amazing, I don't think I'd be able to do that' this is a very confusing but delightful experience.
I think basically everyone I know has already been tagged so consider this a free for all! I am waving foam fingers and colourful flags at everyonnneeee 💚

Hiiii! For the fic asks, 1, 11, 12, and 30! :3
1) I’ll give you two from The Ticket to Tomorrow. Last sentence for the most recent chapter posted: (Chapter 18) If Vash wasn’t mistaken, it sounded like the hero merely said, “I'm Superman.”
And last sentence from the draft of the chapter I’m up to now: (Chapter 28) “Anyway, what’d we miss?” Lois asked, specifically looking toward Luida and not Jimmy.
11) I’m hoping one day if I get the DCMK (Detective Conan/Magic Kaito) bug biting again, I’ll finish The Mystery of the Meitantei. https://m.fanfiction.net/s/9460809/1/Mystery-of-the-Meitantei
It follows Shinichi after the downfall of the Black Organization and his rebuilding relationships with family and friends, especially the Detective Boys. Will he tell the DBs his secret or will the kids uncover the mystery all on their own?
I posted 5 chapters, totally just under 50k words. I of course left it on a cliffhanger and I still get a couple reviews and followers every year, so I have some motivation to finish it.
12) This one, I think you’ll like Squid. ;)
It’s obviously an oversimplification but the “small but strong woman” trope.
I love both Meryl Stryfe and Lois Lane. While Meryl only has the 3 adaptations, Lois’s evolution since 1938 has paved the path for complex female characters.
Lois has always had a ton of flaws, but damn if she isn’t powerful in her own right in a universes full of superhero’s. In MAWS we see her struggle with insecurities but is oozing with ambition and an insatiable desire to uncover any and all injustices throughout the city. She is determined to become a star reporter and has already had growth in such a short timeframe. She’s only going up from here. Plus, we’ll be seeing her (and Clark and Jimmy AND maybe Kara) in exactly a week!!!
There’s no doubt in my mind that the newest versions of Meryl and Lois were inspired by each other. Nightow is a huge western comics fan and it’s no coincidence Meryl is now a newspaper reporter. But of course, Meryl is still her own person. In TriStamp, she is still very young and naive but she similar plows in stating her passion is in humanitarianism and isn’t afraid to head out into the frontier, chasing outlaws. She’s not dumb though, she is quick to learn and knows there’s a bigger picture to the story than just a puff piece. There is a contrast between TriMax and TriStamp Meryl, but we are still only seeing her potential. By the second half of the season, she stands her ground, refusing to back down and run away. Just the small clip after ep 12 title card, we get a sneak peak of the iconic Derringer Meryl. I can’t wait to see her again in S2.
30) TBH, I only have the two fics!! 😅😅😅 So I’ll have to plug The Ticket to Tomorrow. It’s my Trigun Stampede x My Adventures with Superman crossover. It’s a longfic/epic with Multi-POV. Think of it almost as an epic fantasy or sci-fic. There’s action, adventure, humor, angst, fluff and more.
The idea for a crossover was rolling around in my head for a few months before I finally typed out my outline. I’ve started getting back into fandom and writing groups to keep me motivated. Definitely recommend both series!

A Simple Guide to Understanding Network Cabinet
A network cabinet plays an essential role in the data center. It is used for organizing routers, patch panels, switches, networking equipment, and accessories. Network cabinet helps improve cable management, physical security, ease of installation, etc. This article provides a simple guide to understanding network cabinets.
Tumblr media
What is Network Cabinet?
A network cabinet is a piece of equipment used to combine installation panels, plug-ins, sub-boxes, electronic components, devices, and mechanical parts and components to form an integral installation box. It provides the perfect environment for housing and protecting network infrastructure components. It is particularly suited to the back office and commercial building infrastructure applications.
Tumblr media
Types of Network Cabinet
Wall- Mounted Network Cabinet
A wall-mounted network cabinet is used for all rack-mounted equipment conforming to ANSI/EIA standards. It has a solid and reliable modular steel alloy frame structure for a maximum static load capacity of up to 60 KG, movable aluminum magnesium alloy equipment mounting pillars that can fit different depth equipment, multi-place with cabling passageways for various cabling requirements, and high adaptability(optional wall-mounted or ground-mounted fixing to ease meeting the installation).

 Widened Steel Alloy Network Cabinet
Widened steel alloy network cabinet is used for all rack-mounted equipment conforming to ANSI/ EIA standards. It has a solid modular alloy steel frame, a maximum static load capacity of up to 800 KG, widened cabinet structure design, is equipped with vertical cable ducts to orderly lay a large volume of cables, and movable aluminum magnesium alloy equipment mounting pillars for different depth equipment.
Tumblr media
Outdoor Network Cabinet
An outdoor network cabinet is used for connections between cabling elements. It has heat insulation, water-proof and dust-proof performance, good corrosion resistance, and 19-inch equipment mounted.
Tumblr media
Applications
A network cabinet is used in the copper network, FTTH access networks, telecommunication networks, CATV networks, local area networks, data centers, etc.

Things to Look Out for When Choosing a Network Cabinet
Access: Different equipment has different access points. Therefore, your network cabinet should provide several access points for the various devices. Make sure you understand the equipment you need to store in your rank and their usage in and out. You can only determine that you require a cabinet rank that can open on the side, back, or front.
Weight: The network cabinet should not be too bulky that you cannot lift it when setting it up or in case you need to move it. However, it should be the perfect weight to hold all your equipment without collapsing due to the weight of the equipment.
Dimensions:  It is wise to choose a rack with physical characteristics that are appropriate for you. Consider the room's square footage and the size of the equipment that will be housed inside the cabinet.
Available space: When setting it up or relocating it, the network cabinet shouldn't be so heavy that you can't lift it. It should, however, be the ideal weight to support all of your equipment without collapsing under its weight of it.
Conclusion
When you are designing a data center, deciding which network cabinet to deploy should be put in the first place. The right one that meets your installation demand can help you improve power protection, cooling, cable management, and physical security.
