I made the american TTYD box art with the remake renders and logo
(Had to edit Cortez, since he for some reason doesn’t have official art for the remake)

Got myself a very nice boxed Sega Master System II. It’s not often that I see them complete. Several years before COVID I saw one selling for $300 CAD (~$233 USD) at a Game Swap. Then and now I wasn’t interested at such a high price. Early this year I found this one on my local Classified (Kijiji) and I paid $120 CAD (~$93 USD). And this felt like a reasonable price. The seller told me he clears out abandoned storage units and he often finds all sorts of odds and ends. I did plug it in to test it and nothing displays on my CRT TV. Also no sound. It looks like it’s original region was Germany and the black colour of the console tells me it is a PAL region unit. I won’t be able to truly test it unless I get access to a PAL CRT or a PVM that supports both formats. But it’s really just for the shelf and I am very happy to have this boxed model 2 variant. #RetroVideoGames #RetroMegabit #8bit #SegaDude #RetroCollective #SegaMasterSystem #Sega #SMS #RetroVideoGameCollection #MasterSystem2 #MasterSystemII #RetroVideoGameCollector #SMSII #SMS2 #Boxed #Complete #MasterSystem #PAL #NTSC #CRT https://www.instagram.com/p/CgPN5c5uLNv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

RivaTuner Statistics Server (aka “RTSS”)
Running in Windows 11, limiting the “Flycast” Dreamcast emulator to 59.94 fps (NTSC framerate), a suggestion I found here: https://wiki.gbl.gg/w/Help:Flycast_GGPO#Emulator_Video_settings

okay i'll admit it. when i was a kid and dvds had the option i would always pick fullscreen over widescreen because it was "full". it must have had all the information otherwise why would it fill the screen? plus widescreen had those massive black bars along the top and bottom, and looked weird on the crt. moving to a very small and crap flatscreen didn't really help much either... plus i got used to, and kinda liked, the horizontal bars and stuck with em
years later i learned how films were shot
