It's the one thing.
Rolling over and yawning. Beautiful morning. Scrolling through the feed. “I deeply appreciate that the phone has enough charge right now,” smiling to myself. Happy wholesome sabbat, for those who celebrate. Algorithmically chosen influencers in far-away, sunny places. Sunny smiles. Sunny bodies well positioned for optimal display in scenic locales. The photos are nice. Briefly daydreaming of a…

WIP Meme
I was tagged by @skull-bearer to post the sentences from my WIP where one or more of these words appears:
Words: moon | searching | shadow | tides | wait
This is from the Palin Majere fic; some parts I've posted and some not yet.
Moon:
"But he cannot know that,” the elven wizard said. There was clear reluctance in his voice; he spoke as if obligation were dragging the words out of him.
Palin held back the twitch in his face with effort. He did know. Despite the fullness of the white moon that had guided him through the Iron Wood, he was certain that satellite was not the Solinari he known on Krynn. The pale god had no place in this realm, and any vows Palin swore were unlikely to be noted.
Searching:
“Let me down, beast,” the elf over Nabon’s shoulder rasped.
Nabon cast a glance at Palin, who barely had the energy to nod. The giant set Elidor on the ground and watched as the old mage steadied himself, searching for his balance after too long off his feet. The bony hands of the elf came up to slowly wipe away the tracks of tears that had left long streaks across the thin brown skin of his face.
Shadow:
“It’s not true,” he whispered. “I would have tried, but there was nothing to be done. There was nothing to be done.”
Despite the open daylight and how clear and shadowless the woods appeared, Palin still thought that he could see the edge of a black robe somewhere up ahead, flapping in the wind, was certain that he heard Raistlin's distant, mocking whisper:
Liar, Nephew. Liar.
Tides: (I added this bit in to fit the meme, and I like it!)
“It should not have,” Elidor agreed. “And yet…”
“And yet it did?” Palin guessed.
“Yes. It worked. Every time. Nothing held me back from darker spells, until such a time came as I found myself performing works that even a Red Robe would hesitate to cast. And still they worked. No warning ever came from the White moon, no new force to change the slow tides of my spiritual corruption."
Wait:
“Palin!” the young woman called out to him as she dropped lightly onto the dirt of the town centre. “Wait!”
Palin adopted a firm pace, striding toward the border of Solace. When he heard Usha call his name again and start in pursuit, he began to run.
New words:
corrupt | futile | spell | grimace | senses
You don't have to use all of the words! Can be from already posted fic, and art works too.

Happy Worldbuilding Wednesday! Let's talk about talking about identities :P In your WIP, do you use modern LGBTQA+ terms, or have you come up with terms of your own? If someone was coming out, what words would they have to describe themselves?
Oh dear. Alrighty lemme see (this was... almost on Wednesday lol)
So, I’m thinking my world is less label-heavy. There’s terminology for sure, but it’s not a huge deal because most of the cultures in my world don’t have big problems with queerness. I’m struggling though because I do understand the want to have an extensive label system, and I respect that so I don’t want it to seem like I don’t care. Mostly I’m still just... thinking. I haven’t started writing anything beyond the background for my main religion.
In the overall common branch, terms come from that religion. Note that the terms for same-sex include acceptance of trans, non-binary, intersex, etc individuals. There’s a common theme that in most admissions of attraction, a person will say “I follow ___” because in the common consciousness, it’s perceived that people follow paths set before them. So, I follow the path of pansexuality (or strimban, in my world.) This goes for most things, but since queerness can be a delicate subject because of certain cultural backgrounds, they haven’t really evolved it from “I follow,” just to keep it as “polite” as possible for everybody.
Lesbian=Nabon (Nabo is God, she is the creationist of all beings and her first and only love was a woman she painted into existence with a tuft of her hair.) A woman may say that she “follows nabon” instead of us saying “I’m a lesbian.”
Gay (m/m)=Lician, meaning “as the moon.” Licia is the largest of the three moons which was destroyed by an asteroid, and its pieces trail after the other two. It’s extremely beautiful. It’s definitely a big “Fuck you” to homophobes that lesbianism and m/m gayness are both named after the two biggest influences in the world. Lician is an adjective like gay, so it would just be “I follow lician,” for coming out.
Bi/Pan (As someone who’s pan, I know they’re not the same, but here it just means “someone attracted to every sex/gender”)=Strimban for “as strimbast.” Strimbast is a plant which is found on every continent and which grows in every condition (sunny, shaded, no light, all light, rock, sand, dirt, there’s even a type which grows underwater.) It’s not necessarily a beneficial plant, it’s just the fact that it grows everywhere, meaning it can find something to like wherever it looks. “I follow strimban.”
Asexuality=There’s a few ways to say it. One way which has become popularized is that someone “follows the path of the dragon,” because dragonborns and dragons more often than not are asexual. Another older way to say it is that someone “follows the sand,” because very little grows in sand. Idk, that might change.
Then for gender presentations:
Trans=Nasmirali. Nasmira was the wife of Nabo, the first creation. Nasmira and Nabo lived together for quite some time before Nasmira began to grow disquieted with the emptiness of their realm, so she asked Nabo to reform her into something else, to use her to create. (this is direct from the story:  So Nabo, weeping tears of her own, took Nasmira’s body and, after one final kiss, spread her into More. Her skin became earth, her tears water, her hair the forests, her blood fire, and her eyes the stars.) So, someone who is trans will say they follow nasmirali, because Nasmira was born into a body who did not reflect who she was, so she was made into something else.
Non-binary=Massarin. Massar is the god of beauty, fidelity, and love. They’re depicted as non-binary, neither male nor female. So, if you are non-binary, you follow massarin.
Intersex=This one doesn’t have an established term, but someone who’s intersex might say they “walk between paths.”
There’s loads of other queer identities, but these are the most numerous.
