All the way back on 20 May 2024, Rebecca English attempted to give proof of life for Kate, when she published a story about Kate & "The Early Years." The general public hasn't seen Kate since her CANCER! announcement video on 22 March 2024, but Rebecca has the inside scoop on how Kate is still the "driving force" behind her Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood! [archive link]
And wouldn't you know it, Rebecca's story, which was an attempt to quell rumors of "where is Kate?", has only increased in the scrutiny!
The next day, 21 May 2024, William hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace with Peter Philips, Zara & Mike Tindall, Beatrice, and Eugenie, and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. As Rebecca English noted,
During the garden party William will meet guests from a number of both his own and his wife's patronages, military affiliations and passion projects including his Homewards initiative to combat homelessness, RAF Valley (the Welsh base where the prince worked as an RAF Search and rescue pilot), Swim England and tenants across the Duchy of Cornwall sites. The inclusion of those with links to the Princess of Wales suggests that when planning for the garden party began last year it had been expected that Kate would attend. [archive link]
On the 22 May 2024, Buckingham Palace announced to the press that there would be a reduction in royal engagements due to the election on 04 July 2024. William had to cancel an engagement previously scheduled for 23 May 2024 due to the now upcoming election.
Also on 22 May 2024, El Nacional in Spain, published an article stating that Kate is lonely, home alone with her "three children," and has marriage difficulties with William.
Tumblr media
Cut to the next day, 23 May 2024, Richard Eden of the Daily Mail has suddenly gotten info from Kate's friends about her recovery! We won't see Kate "until the autumn."
She has not undertaken any public engagements this year and friends I spoke to in the past few days suggest we might not see Catherine again until the autumn – and only then if she has recovered fully. [archive link]
Continuing on, 24 May 2024, Tom Sykes of The Daily Beast, publishes that Kate "will probably 'not appear in public for the rest of the year.'"
One source said they do not expect to see Kate back in any kind of public-facing role in the medium term, adding it was possible she would remain absent from public life for the rest of the year. The source said: “Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance. I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.” [...] The friend said that Kate has preferred to lean on and confide in her family rather than her and William’s circle of friends, many of whom will be at the Duke of Westminster’s wedding next month (along with her husband, who is best man). [...] The Daily Beast has been told by fellow parents at the smart private school which Kate’s children attend that she has not been seen at the sports matches and the other school events she and her husband usually attend. However, she is understood to have done occasional school runs, one parent said, but while keeping a low profile. “There have been rumors she has done drop-off, but I haven’t seen her since the video,” said one. [archive link]
Subsequently, the next week, on Monday, 27 May 2024, Rebecca English published an EXCLUSIVE! in the Daily Mail about how Kate "has been inundated with ‘tens of thousands’ of get well soon cards and gifts."
But the outpouring of support for the princess continues- and palace staff have received thousands and thousands of cards, letters and gifts from members of the public offering their support and good-wishes. The sheer volume of correspondence has at times been difficult for the team to cope with. But staff do aim to reply to all the writers, eventually. [archive link]
Amazingly, the Kensington Palace communications team decided not to film a short video--or even a photo!--visually documenting Kate with said influx of "cards, letters and gifts." How hard would have been--at Kate's leisure!--to pose for a single photo or video documenting all the "support and good-wishes" she has received? Kate apparently is unable to pose for a single photo, even with the aid of photoshop.
Then the very next day, Tuesday, 28 May 2024, Tatler (UK) posts an article about Kate being seen "out and about" via Rebecca English's (27 May) article about Kate receiving "thousands and thousands of cards, letters and gifts."
US Weekly also posts an "exclusive" article on 28 May 2024 that Kate "has been seen out and about more with her family in recent weeks" by using Rebecca English's reporting on the "get well soon cards and gifts." [archive link]
Concurrently on 28 May 2024, Katie Nicholl posts in Vanity Fair that "reports claiming that Princess Kate is unlikely to be back at work until next year are inaccurate." Yet, her statement that "reports that Kate Middleton has been seen out and about with her family in recent days," comes straight from People magazine.
People magazine's EXCLUSIVE! reporting on Kate being "spotted out with family" seemingly originates from Rebecca English's article published one day earlier, on the 27th.
The Princess of Wales, 42, has remained out of the public eye since publicly announcing her cancer diagnosis in March as she undergoes chemotherapy. However, Kate has recently been spotted out with her family and solo running errands, sources tell PEOPLE. Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace has received "tens of thousands" of well-wishes for the royal via letters and gifts, the Daily Mail reports.
Not so EXCLUSIVE! was it, People?
Tumblr media
Wednesday, 29 May 2024, Eastern Daily Press (UK), EXCLUSIVELY revealed that Will & Kate were seen shopping in Holt, England.
An eyewitness who was in the shop at the time said "it was nice to see the couple shopping together" and noted that William had purchased some chocolate.  [...] A spokeswoman from Bakers & Larners said: “We are always honoured to be visited by the Royal Family and Tuesday was no different- we look forward to seeing Their Royal Highnesses in Holt again soon." [archive link]
Oh, so Will & Kate were spotted on Tuesday?
The day after Becky English's EXCLUSIVE! story?
Tumblr media
Convenient in that no one bothered to snap a photo of the two of them in Holt. At. All.
And where is Holt in relation to Anmer Hall, which is in Norfolk?

Continuing on, Thursday, 30 May 2024, Kensington Palace confirms Kate will not take part in the Colonel's Review on 08 June 2024.
Also on 30 May 2024, Newsweek reported:
The British royals have been urged to come up with a plan to manage press and public expectations about Princess Kate's health and return to duties if her absence continues beyond the summer and into the fall. "They're going to have to come back from the August break with a plan for how to manage public opinion," Newsweek's chief royal correspondent, Jack Royston, told a British news show on Wednesday. [archive link]
Richard Eden reports on 31 May 2024 that Kate "could" take a role at the Royal Thames Yacht club.
Just as hearteningly, they learned that its next most senior honorary position, that of Commodore, which Charles held for 12 years while Prince of Wales, would remain unfilled — fuelling hopes that it will be taken by the Princess of Wales when her own battle with cancer is safely behind her. [...] A friend of the Princess of Wales tells me: 'Decisions about her patronages are on hold until doctors give her the green light to return to public engagements.' [archive link]
How hard would it be to give a "no" if she's not interested in that patronage altogether? It could be done very easily privately, instead of letting the Daily Mail's pearl-clutcher-in-chief drone on about Kate following in King Charles's footsteps.
Finishing out the week, on 01 June 2024, Natasha Livingstone of the Daily Mail reports that Scotland Yard still is not investigating the alleged "breach" of Kate's medical records at The London Clinic.
Staff at the prestigious hospital at the centre of a data breach over the Princess of Wales's private medical records may have had to contend with a 'decoy' trap set by managers, experts believe. The MoS can reveal that, three months on, The London Clinic remains under investigation and the case has not yet been referred to Scotland Yard, despite Health Minister Maria Caulfield stating in March that police had been asked to look at it. Bosses at the hospital launched a probe after it was claimed at least one staff member had attempted to access personal details about Kate following her planned abdominal surgery in January. [...] Now several data specialists have told this newspaper that, if the breach occurred, staff could have been caught through a 'decoy' tactic used by private hospitals that often have high-profile clients. To protect the health data of VIP patients, hospitals often store it in a file under a fake name. A 'decoy' file is then created under the celebrity's real name. This contains false information and is regularly checked by bosses to see if any wayward staff have opened it without permission. If a breach is suspected, hospitals are required to launch their own inquiry while the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) investigates whether management did anything wrong. But this process is laboriously slow. [archive link]
Looks like another round of
Tumblr media
Because The Mirror's Russell Myers conveniently published the EXCLUSIVE! scoop about the alleged "breach" of Kate's medical records on 19 March 2024, THREE DAYS before everyone watched the video of Kate sitting on a bench saying the word "CANCER!" on 22 March 2024.
And then there was that now missing Daily Mail story from 01 April 2024 about how Kate's CANCER! video announcement "rushed out" after her diagnosis was "leaked."
The Princess of Wales’s video announcement detailing her cancer treatment was rushed out by Kensington Palace aides after her diagnosis had been leaked, the Mail can reveal. Kate Middleton confirmed she had been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing 'preventative chemotherapy’ for the disease in a video message on March 22. However, a well-placed source has revealed the timing of the video nothing to do with the speculation that would have come from her missing church on Easter morning, but instead because someone had knowledge of her health condition. Kensington Palace had been contacted about Kate’s diagnosis, leaving no option but to hurry to get ahead of the story, the insider told the Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle column.  It is unclear as to whether the leak came from within The London Clinic, where the Princess underwent abdominal surgery in January, or from elsewhere.
However, given that Kate's records may not have been breached AT ALL--if the alleged violators didn't see her actual record but a fake record--then there was no real reason why KP & Kate had to "get ahead of the story." KP didn't "get ahead" of the medical records story; they leaked the story. To Russell Myers.
American media outlet, Forbes, had an article on 17 March 2024 with the headline, "Claims About BBC Being On-Alert For Kate Middleton News Remain Unconfirmed." (Kate's CANCER! announcement video was filmed by BBC Studios on 20 March 2024.) When rumors of a future announcement are circulating on social media days before a story is actually published, you aren't attempting to "get ahead" of the story. You're priming the audience and setting the stage for your announcement. That is a PR tactic. Plain and simple.
Which brings us back to this week, with US Weekly's cover story this week with this quote about Kate's future royaling career:
According to the second source, Kate’s team is “reevaluating what she’s going to be able to take on when she comes back,” noting, “She may never come back in the role that people saw her in before.”
And Will & Kate's marriage:
The reprieve is a welcome one for the couple. “The announcement that the royals won’t be able to work as much has been unexpected, but it will allow Kate and William to spend more time together,” says the second source. “They’ve been reconnecting and are closer than ever.”
But let's not forget that Tom Sykes pointed out KP's attempt to micromanage the press:
In remarks likely to displease the palace, which has sought a blackout on reporting about Kate’s health apart from official updates, the outlet added that Kate has been spotted out and about with family and on her own.
Which sounds like the press knows more than they've published so far. Wonder how long that is going to last? It probably isn't going to work out in the long run.
Everyone over at KP seems to be unaware of the phrase "Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus."
Looks like the BRF will be managing their "Charlene situation" for a long time. A "situation" that didn't begin in April or March, but early January 2024. As in, before 15 January 2024.
Or unless some other news clarifies the situation that KP has been hiding.

you’re abby’s favorite bartender at her favorite dive bar. she doesn’t take to kindly to people disrespecting her best girl.

Tumblr media
Abby is a regular at your bar. Well, regular is a kind way to put it. At this point, she lives in the dive bar. She’s head over heels for you but has decided obnoxious flirting every happy hour, and a sliver of your attention will suffice.
Her routine is simple:
Order a beer. From her favorite bartender of course. If anyone offers to serve her it’s deny, deny, deny. She can only accept alcoholic content from her best girl.
Shoot some darts, play some pool, chugging contest. Blah, blah, blah. It’s only fun if she sees you sneaking glances from your station, shooting you a wink while she engages with her team. She likes seeing how flustered she can get you with a thin-lipped smile and wink alone. And the answer is very flustered.
Once she’s seen you steal enough glances, it’s time to go back to the bar and bother you. Sure, order another drink. But, also, flirt with the gorgeous girl serving her. Is that a new shirt? Your hair looks so pretty tonight. She loves the necklace you’re wearing, situated real well between your tits.
Then stay on the barstool, all night, up until she’s one of the last patrons in the bar. Even though,  she’s gotta be up running drills quite soon after your shift ends. But it’s worth it. If she can make you laugh at least once.
Every time. Without fail. That’s Abby’s routine, and tonight was no different.
Well, except for the fact that there was some asshole bothering you while you worked. Doesn’t he know that’s her job? Only she can bother you, she’s the only one who does it right. Besides, you looked annoyed while he was talking to you. You never looked annoyed when Abby flirted. Always brushing your fingers on her bicep, giggling as she flexed, giving her a hard time for flinching after a shot. You relished in her attention even. You looked like you wanted to throw up while this guy was talking to you. Abby personally, wants to throw him a punch. Instead, she rolls her eyes and fiddles with the toothpick between her teeth, before calling you over to her. The night’s still early, maybe he’ll back off. She hasn't gotten her slice of your attention yet, so she refuses to let that be cut short.
“Hey, princess!” She uses a hand motion towards you. Your face lights up as you walk towards her freckled face. You hadn't spoken many words to her all night. It was a relief to see the pilot in her designated stool.
You throw your towel over your shoulder and place your hands on your hips. “How can I help you, Captain Anderson?” Your tongue pokes between your lips, a coy smile protruding.
Abby rolls her eyes. “I hate when you call me that.” She sighs playfully, “I only let my favorite bartenders call me Abby y’know.”
You place your hand over your heart, flinching, “Silly me thinking I was the only one.”
Abby whistles lowly at you. “None of them are half as pretty as you, baby.” She watches as you turn your head to the side shyly. She’s already got you flustered and the night’s just begun. She hasn’t even started throwing darts and flexing muscles with her squad yet.
It’s your turn to roll your eyes now. “Promise?” you flirt shamelessly, curious as to what she’ll say.
“Scout’s honor princess,” she kisses three of her fingers and holds them up.
You laugh at her actions. Only Abby can have you laughing at work. In a sticky bar, tight shirt, and light hangover still cascading over you. “Okay, Abby,” You say her name sickeningly sweet. She almost bends over to her knees. “What can I get you tonight?” She smiles, tapping the paper coaster on the countertop, pretending to think. “I’m gonna go with the usual tonight babe.”
You smile, “Boring but expected.” You go to grab a glass and fill it up with ice as a deep baritone fills your ears. “Princess,” the man calls. This new customer was evidently, not privy to the unspoken rules of the bar. He winks at Abby expecting some comradery from a nickname alone. As if friendships are built off disrespecting women.
You cringe at the nickname and don’t reply. Your legs only move to that call when it’s your favorite captain calling you.
“Oh c’mon don’t be that way.” The man continues. “What? You want a different nickname?” Abby’s jaw is clenched so tightly, that she's sure her molars have cracked. She’s clenching her fist to the point that the white of her knuckles is apparent.
“She doesn’t respond to that,” Abby replies to the asshole. “She’s got a name.” This man is new sure, but definitely an idiot. He’s choosing to continue squaring off with the Abby Anderson. You know better. You wouldn't disrespect her even with all the alcohol in the world flooding your system. You’ve seen her in a bar fight. She’s never lost.
“What is this your girlfriend?” He laughs drunkenly. “I mean I’m into that sort of thing,” he snorts to himself. “Why don’t you give us all a little kiss?” He continues chuckling like he’s some world-class comedian. Though, Abby doesn’t seem to find him funny.
She runs her hand over her face. She looks at you for a moment. “Princess,” she leans in whispering, “How many bar fights in me until you said I was banned?”
You lean closer to her, whispering back, “I don’t think I’m allowed to ban the champ.” Smiling cheekily at her. She winks and clicks her tongue. That’s all she needs as reassurance to kick this guy’s ass.
She gets up from the stool, walking closer to him. Though Abby oozes dominance, when she’s standing over you it’s hard not to shit your pants. She places her hands square atop this guy’s shoulders. “I’m gonna give you just one chance to apologize to my pretty girl or else you’re gonna be banned.”
The man brandishes off a drunk grin that’s missing two front teeth. “Ban? Me? Ban me? Nah.”
Abby rolls her eyes, “So that’s a no?” She doesn’t even give the guy a chance to answer before punching him straight in the jaw. “See someone else has had the common sense to knock two teeth from that ugly mug of yours, what’s a few more?” She mutters to herself.  There’s slight commotion, but it dies down quickly with the rest of Abby’s aviator squad coming quickly behind her. Beers still in hand, foam coating a few mustaches they ask her what happened. She wrings out her hand, Go take his picture for the wall of shame and dump him outside.” She huffs, watching her lieutenants follow her orders.
Abby comes to sit by you in her same old worn-down barstool. She smiles as you give her a bag of ice for her hand. “What number fight is that?” You ask her softly and playfully.
“For you or in this bar?” She’s got that look in her eye, nothing but trouble.
You roll your eyes, “Don’t answer a question with a question.” You being to make the drink you never got to give the dirty blonde.
“You’re bossy tonight,” she muses, accepting the drink once you hand it to her, chugging quickly. “Fighting makes me thirsty she muses.”
You repress a smile, crossing your arms over your chest. “So Captain,” you drag out the tightly slightly. Watching as Abby raises her eyebrow at you.
“Princess,” she replies with an edge to her voice.
“When’re you gonna bite the bullet and ask me out? Hasn’t total endless flirting with me gotten boring?” You lean against the bar top, cleavage spilling from your low-cut top.
“How about now?” Abby works hard to make sure her eyes don’t come to your spillage. She works overtime in doing so even. It’s torturous.
You hum, “Beating up drinkies doesn’t count as a date you know?” You smile at her, propping your face against your hand.
“Our first date wouldn’t be here,” she smiles toothily. “If that’s the case, we’ve had plenty of dates while I sat in this barstool. We’re married even.” She grins at you.
Your tongue licks your lips, “Moving fast, aren’t you? Focus on the first date, Anderson.”
“Yeah get used to saying that last name, ‘cause it’ll be yours,” she clicks her tongue and winks at you. “How about I come to grab you this weekend? A nice dinner, me you, and no drunks up your ass.”
“Does this mean I’ll finally be seeing you out of that old navy uniform Anderson?” Your smile captivates your face as you tease her. Only you would make fun of her while she’s trying to ask you out.
She rolls her eyes. “I don’t go home on the first date.” She teases, laughing softly, ‘cause it’s far from true.
“Liar,” you call her out on her shit, carefully grasping the glinting dog tags that lay around her neck. You pull her in for a kiss, for a moment there’s cheering. You know it’s from her rowdy lieutenants. You smile against her lips and pull away. “I’ll see you this weekend?” You say looking at her loved face.
“Sure thing princess.” She’s stunned. “You know what? Put a round on my tab, for celebration.” She reaffirms.
“No doubt captain,” you smile mocking a salute.

 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
Natasha walked through the streets, her gun in her hand, ready to shoot anything and anyone that would dare come her way. She had been in Seattle for a while, and even though the streets were destroyed due to the bombings, a lot of the building were still standing. They were probably fragile and looked extremely unstable, but they were still there.
She carefully entered an apartment building, scared to get either jumped by Scars or Wolves again. She had run into both of them before, and she wasn’t much of a fan.
Her shoulder still hurt from the arrow that Scar shot her with…
After going up the floors slowly, ensuring the hallways and rooms were clear, she found a stable, and somewhat clean looking room almost all the way at the top. The stairs were blocked, keeping her from going further up, and keeping others from being able to sneak up on her.
The only entrance to the floor was the stairway, and that was exactly how Natasha liked it.
She checked the room one more time before setting her backpack down next to a sleeping bag on the floor.
She checked the sleeping bag over, and it didn’t take long for her to realise it had recently been slept on. She reached for her gun immediately, keeping it close to her, and she searched through the room for supplies or a bag of any kind.
It didn’t take long before she found one. An army green bag was stashed into a small hole under the desk. It was obvious someone tried their best to hide it.
Natasha looked through the bag, finding nothing that she didn’t already have. Once she checked the smaller compartment, her heart stopped for a second. She had found a stuffed animal. The bag belonged to a child…
Natasha dug through the bag a little better, finding an old, damaged notebook. It had clearly been used a lot, and Natasha admired the artwork as she flipped through the pages.
“Drop it,” a voice behind her suddenly said, and Natasha could hear a gun being loaded. She carefully laid the notebook down, raising her hands and turning around to face to gun. Turning around to face you. You were just a child…
-------------------------------------------------------------
Walking around the city was boring, especially because you had to stay hidden and on the look-out for Scars and Wolves. Moving around the city was a lot harder and went a lot slower with those guys around.
You had met some of the Wolves years ago, when they still called themselves the Fireflies and were on some holy mission to make a cure for all of humanity.
You never bought their shit, and even though you grew up in a QZ, close to a Firefly nest, you never believed for even a second that a cure could ever be made. That was, of course, until you got bitten, and you survived.
You had tried to get out of the QZ, wanting to leave the quarantine zone and explore the world by yourself. You hated living in the QZ. It may have been safe, but it was far from ideal.
When you left, you had to go past hundreds of soldiers, making your escape a whole lot more difficult. Luckily you had always been good at sneaking around, being quiet and not making a sound.
Once you were out of the QZ, it didn’t take long before you ran into a hoard of infected, and when you managed to only kill a few, due to your bullets running out, you had tried to run, fighting off any infected that came at you with your knife. You were pretty successful, apart from the fact that one of the Clickers had managed to bite your arm.
You were upset to say the least, and frustrated that you had been so stupid to leave a safe place for some idiot adventure. You spend what you thought was your last two days in an apartment you found.
You didn’t want to turn, but you were out of bullets and you were to afraid to kill yourself with your knife, so you didn’t, instead settling on just waiting it out.
After waiting two or three days, you still hadn’t turned, and after inspecting the bite, you settled on the fact that it had not gotten worse over the days. The infection seemed to have stopped, and even though you were confused, you didn’t really question it.
After travelling around on your own for a while, you were found by a group of Fireflies, who, during a medical check-up you had no say in, discovered your bite mark.
They locked you up, performing all kinds of tests to make sure you were still sharp and alert. Eventually, after about a week, they settled on the idea that you were not going to turn, and that you could be the answer to making a cure.
You didn’t really know what that meant, and you didn’t really care as you were finally allowed to get out of the chains and go to an actual room.
Occasionally, Fireflies would enter your room to perform some more tests, taking your blood and asking follow up question on what exactly happened, and what you did after you were bit. You didn’t really bother to question them, because if you were actually the key to making a cure, you would want nothing more than your life to mean something.
You were only 12 when you got to the Fireflies, and you hadn’t met a single Firefly that was around your age. That was, until a 16-year-old girl snuck into your room.
Her name was Abby, and she told you she was the daughter of the doctor who could make a cure. She became your best friend, and she was there for you when the Fireflies announced you had to go into surgery. Dr. Anderson assured you everything would be fine, and after the surgery a cure would exist.
What he failed to mention, however, was that making a cure would cost you your life.
You didn’t know that, of course, nor did Abby, as she walked with you to the operating room, trying to help calm your nerves.
You were scared, and you didn’t really had a good feeling about the situation, but you didn’t really bother to question it, knowing the only goal the Fireflies had was to make a cure. They wouldn’t endanger your life, would they?
It was Abby who killed her own father that day. It was Abby who got you out of that hospital. It was Abby that helped you run as the Fireflies hunted you down.
No one knew it had been Abby, except for you, and her father as he laid dead on the floor of the surgery room.
Abby found out you wouldn’t survive the surgery, and she had asked the other Fireflies if you knew that. They lied and told Abby you did, and that you were still okay with it. Abby knew you better then that, and she knew you would never lay down your life for the possibility of making a cure.
When Abby discovered you weren’t the first immune person the Fireflies had tried to make a cure with, she was furious, knowing you were just another experiment to them. You weren’t going to survive the surgery, and the chance of making a cure was near to zero.
And so, Abby had made the hard call to try and safe you, even if it meant going against her own father to do so. She had told him to let you go, but he threatened her, saying the surgery was the only hope humanity had left. It was one of the hardest things Abby had ever done, but she was determined to safe your life.
After you two had left the hospital, she drove you far away from it, heading for Seattle.
You two stayed in Seattle for a while, but it didn’t take long until you were kidnapped by the main group inhabitating it.
The Wolves.
The Wolves had tried to get you on their side, but you simply refused, all the while Abby was pretty quickly convinced with everything they were offering. They had food, apartments, safe places to stay and work, and even schools.
Abby had tried everything to get you to stay, but you had simply refused, saying you were afraid they’d find out about your immunity and they’d try to kill you to.
You simply didn’t trust them, and so, you and Abby went separate ways.
You were 14 when you found Jackson, a town not to far from Seattle. They had taken you in and cared for you, and when Joel found out about your immunity while seeing you breathe spores on patrol, they hadn’t tried to kill you.
Joel, Tommy and Maria were the only ones that knew about your immunity, and they kept it a secret as they helped you hide it.
Joel helped you when you tried to hide the bite with a chemical burn, and a girl from Jackson had given you a tattoo to cover that scar. You were pretty happy with how it turned out. It was safe and hidden, not to mention it looking absolutely badass.
When you were 15 and a half, someone in the town had information of trading with an outsider group. They told you they wanted information on one of their deserters, and when you heard it was about a blonde, muscular woman around 20, you knew you had to go look for her. Abby was there when you needed her, and now you wanted to return the favour.
That’s how you ended up in Seattle, staying in the apartments high of the grounds, away from the floods and the Wolves and you avoided the Scars high up in the air.
You had been in Seattle for a least 6 months now, and you were yet to find Abby, although you were certain you were getting closer. You had gotten multiple leads of the scars looking for a woman that fit her description.
What on earth had Abby gotten herself into this time? Not only the Wolves, but the Scars were looking for her as well.
That’s how you ended up in this position, gun pointed at the red-headed woman as she stood there with your stuff in her hands.
-------------------------------------------------------------
“What are you doing here?” you demanded, and Natasha tried her best to give you a reassuring smile. “I’m not here to hurt you, I promise,” she explained, but you kept the gun pointed.
“I don’t mean you any harm. Do you think you can put the gun down?” Natasha asked you, but you just shook your head.
“How did you find this place?” you asked her, keeping the gun pointed at her head.
“I just stumbled across it-”
“Did the Wolves send you?” you interrupted her, and Natasha looked confused for a second before realising you must’ve ran away from the Wolves. She shook her head.
“I swear I was just passing through, looking for a place to stay for the night,” she explained, carefully taking a small step closer. “You can trust me, I promise. I’m not going to hurt you,” she assured you, but you were careful to believe her.
“Why on earth should I believe you?” you asked her, yet Natasha merely shrugged.
“I’m not a Wolf, and my face isn’t covered in scars,” Natasha reasoned, and you looked her over before slowly lowering you gun, keeping it loaded just to be sure.
“I’m Natasha,” Natasha said as she slowly lowered her hands. “What’s your name?” “y/n” you told her, and Natasha smiled at you. “That’s a beautiful name. How long have you been here?” she asked, and you merely shrugged.
“I dunno. I don’t care. I’m just passing through,” you said, repeating what Natasha had said just now, and watching as a smirk formed on her face.
Just passing through huh? You seem to be on incredibly high alert for someone who’s just passing through. Why would the Wolves have send me? Are they looking for you?” Natasha pushed, wanting to know what you could possibly be doing in one of the most dangerous cities she had crossed.
You simply shook your head, putting the safety of your gun back on and putting it away in your belt. “You’re good with asking questions, but I’m not stupid,” you told her, taking a step closer and walking around her.
Natasha seemed to get the hint, and she moved around you as well, taking a step away from your stuff and letting you put it back in your bag.
“What are you doing here, all on your own?” she then asked you, and you smirked slightly as you shook your head. “Just passing through, like I said.”
Natasha smirked at your stubbornness, before deciding to open up herself, hoping that would help you trust her. “I’m looking for my sister. The last message I got from her came from Seattle,” Natasha explained, and you stopped packing your bag for a moment as you looked at Natasha, confused as to why she’d tell you such a thing.
“Are you looking for someone too?” Natasha urged, and you sighed slightly as you finished stuffing your objects in your bag.
“Maybe your sister joined the Wolves. You aren’t allowed to have any contact after that,” you explained, and Natasha simply nodded, thinking for a moment before speaking again.
“Did the person that you’re looking for join the Wolves?” she asked, and you looked down, not knowing what to say. “Maybe we can help each other,” Natasha suggested, and you looked at her confused.
“Why would I trust you?” you asked her, and Natasha merely shrugged.
“If I wanted to kill you, I would’ve done it by now,” she told you, and you glanced at the gun strapped to her thigh.
“Fair point,” you told her, walking to the desk and using a key to open the top drawer, taking out some bullets and medicine.
“So that’s where you hid the useful stuff? Smart,” Natasha commented as she watched you load your stuff into your bag, making sure to keep her distance. “Are you planning on moving locations?” Natasha asked you, and you nodded.
“Scars build bridges high up to get around the Wolves and the flood. I’ve been using the bridges as well, but sometimes they sent patrols through the routes. The patrols are always small, yet I still don’t want to be here when they arrive,” you explained, walking to the door and checking if it was clear.
“Can I come with you?” Natasha asked, and you looked at her for a moment, contemplating on letting her go with you.
You didn’t really trust her, how could you, you just met. Yet you also didn’t get a bad feeling with her, and you liked that. You simply nodded at her question, and Natasha smiled as she took out her gun.
“Did you see anyone come up here when you did?” Natasha asked, scanning the halls.
You shook your head, taking the safety off your gun as you walked to the stairway.
When you made it to the stairway, you spotted seven figures on one of the bridges, heading straight towards your location.
“I do now,” you said as you motioned for the group of Scars approaching you.
“What do we do? This is the only way down?” Natasha asked as she loaded her own gun.
“Not exactly…” you told her, pointing to the other side of the hall. “There’s a stairway over there, and it’s never used by Scars…” you explained as you trailed off, checking the location of the patrol group before making your way towards it.
“Why do you say that with such hesitance?” Natasha asked, and you made an awkward face as you opened the doors.
Clickers could be heard coming from every direction, and Natasha grimaced as she realised that was your only way out. “Can you be quiet?” you asked her, and Natasha nodded as she screwed a silencer on her gun. She handed one to you, and you took it gratefully as you screwed it on your own gun.
You were so screwed…
-------------------------------------------------------------
After you and Natasha had cleared one floor, avoiding the Clickers and only taking out the Runners, you had made it to a second floor.
The only problem, you could see the amount of spores floating around through the small glass window in the door. Natasha took out her mask, but you didn’t, as you didn’t have one.
“You don’t have a mask?” Natasha asked you as you slowly shook your head, not wanting to tell her about your immunity, but not really seeing any other option than to go through the spores.
“It’ll be fine,” you assured her, but before you could open the door, Natasha grabbed your arm.
“That many spores will take you life within seconds,” you told you, and you gave her a small smile. “Trust me, it won’t,” you told her as you opened the door, walking inside and breathing in the spores.
Natasha was beyond confused, but when you didn’t start coughing she decided not to question it until after you had gotten out of the building.
You and Natasha made your way across the floor, mindful of any Clickers that may have been on it, yet the only infected you had seen were the two Bloaters in the hallway. They were easily avoidable, but perhaps you had spoken too soon as you got jumped from the side, a Stalker on top of you, trying to bite you.
You panicked and tried to fight it off, the commotion only alerting the two Bloaters as they now headed for the room you were in.
For a second you thought Natasha had abandoned you to safe her own life, but that thought soon left your head as the Stalker’s limp body fell on top of you, a bullet hole straight through it’s skull.
“Come on!” Natasha yelled as she pushed the Stalker off of you, grabbing your hand and dragging you to your feet, running to the nearest door and trying to open it.
“BLOATERS!” you yelled as you shot at the two infected behind you. The Bloaters were getting closer and closer, and yet Natasha could not get the door open.
“We’re gonna fucking die!” you yelled.
“Like hell we are!” Natasha yelled back as she finally pushed the door open, pulling you through it and immediately barracting it from the inside. The two Bloaters ran against the door, and a loud ‘bonk’ could be heard as they tried to push it open.
You leaned against the wall, hunched forward with a hand on your chest, trying to steady your breath.
“You okay?” Natasha asked as she tried to catch her breath herself, already checking on which way you could go. You tried to speak, but you were breathing so heavily you opted to just raise your thumbs.
“Why don’t the spores bother you?” Natasha then asked, and you looked up, surprised she asked so kindly.
You simply shrugged, wanting to put off telling her about your immunity for as long as possible. “I just saw you breath enough spores to take down a dozen men! Yet you seem to be fine,” Natasha stated, and you sighed.
“Spores just don’t bother me,” you told her, and she looked at you sceptically, wanting to continue looking for an answer, but when the doors started to get dents from the Bloaters running in to them so often, she decided against it, instead deciding to try and get down to the street as fast as possible.
“We can move through here, but it’s gonna be a bit of a squeeze,” Natasha said as she pushed a fallen closet away from an opening.
“I hope you’re not claustrophobic,” she then said, inspecting the small opening.
You walked towards her, taking a deep breath before speaking. “I can fit,” you told her, and she nodded.
“I’ll go first,” Natasha said as she pushed herself through the opening, turning back to you. “Try to stay close,” she told you, and you nodded.
“I’m sure I’ll be fine,” you told her before taking a deep breath in, squeezing yourself into the opening. “Cozy,” you mentioned, and you heard Natasha let out a little chuckle.
“Let’s just go and get out of here as soon as possible,” Natasha said as she continued walking.
The two of you were going at a slow pace, but you were moving forward. That was until the ground beneath you became unstable, and after hearing a few cracks here and there, the ground gave up completely, sending you and Natasha tumbling to the floor below you.
But the fall wasn’t one floor, or two. You fell three floors down until your back collided with the ground, and some of the rubble fell on top of you.
Natasha fell down next to you, she herself being seemingly fine.
After a second of laying there, groaning on the floor, you heard growling and screaming coming from beside you.
You turned to look at it, and when you did, you immediately regretted it. It looked like a Shambler, but even more mutated. There were arms and feet and heads sticking out everywhere, and you couldn’t even tell where the head of the original person was.
It came running at you with an incredible speed, and while you tried your best to get the rubble off of you, Natasha scrambled up to help you, running towards you as fast as she could to help you get the rubble off.
Once the mutated infected got to close, Natasha turned around, shooting it a few times, but it wouldn’t die. It didn’t even look bothered by the bullets Natasha impaled it with.
You frantically tried to get the wooden planks and rubble from you, nearly crying when you realised you weren’t strong enough, and the mutated infected would probably get you. It came closer, and Natasha fell backwards as she kept shooting it.
Once it got too close, the weight of you three and the rubble pushed the floor to collapse, making you all fall another floor down.
Once you hit the floor, the rubble landed next to you, and Natasha helped you get up and dragged you as she ran to a place to hide. You both had landed in some sort of parking garage, a layer of water and old cars filling the space. The infected, which you had decided to call the Rat King, was quick to scramble to its feet, growling as it started to walk around, trying to find you two.
“Are you alright?’’ Natasha whispered, her hand still on your shoulder as you both crouched down behind the car.
You nodded, yet flinched slightly when you heard the Rat King growling.
“What the hell is that thing?” you whispered back, and Natasha shrugged a little while glancing over the car, wanting to get the Rat King in her vision.
“I have never seen anything like it before,” she told you. “It’s like it’s three infected grown into one…” Natasha trailed off, pulling you out of the hiding spot and out of the way, just seconds before the Rat King slammed itself into the car you had hid behind.
Natasha started running, dragging you with her as she ran towards a wall, pushing you behind it.
“Try and find a way out. I’ll distract it!” she told you, pulling out a gun as she started shooting at it. The Rat King seemed affected by the gun she used now, and it seemed stunned for a few seconds before it continued it’s way towards you two.
You turned around, running towards the wall of the parking garage, hoping you could try and climb out that way. You didn’t find an opening, and you were about to climb up when you heard Natasha yell to turn around. You did, and the Rat King was charging straight at you, growling and extending one of it’s many hands.
You ducked, running towards Natasha as she pushed you behind her, continuing to shoot at the Rat King.
The Rat King stopped for a moment, a part of him ripping off, and a Stalker fell off. It ran towards a car, hiding behind it. The Rat King itself quickly regained it’s posture, charging back at you. You shuddered, standing behind Natasha closely as she kept shooting at the Rat King.
You could have cried. You were absolutely terrified and it just kept going. It didn’t look like the Rat King had even suffered any amount of damage.
“Keep looking!” Natasha yelled, and you took another look at the Rat King before turning to the other end of the parking garage, trying to see if you could find an opening there. You heard Natasha’s gun firing, and before you could even reach the wall, the stalker from before jumped you from the side, taking you down to the ground.
You couldn’t move for a moment, the shock making panic run through your body. Once you regained your ability to think, you reached for you knife, stabbing the stalker in the head and killing it.
You stood back up, using a car to climb on top of a truck, making you stand high enough to reach the ceiling.
You found a vent, pushing some of the rubble away and finding a way to climb through.
“Over here!” you yelled at Natasha, looking at her as she was still shooting. How many bullets did she even carry with her? Seeing Natasha trapped in a corner, you took out your own gun, shooting at the Rat King. The moment your first bullet collided with the Rat King, it turned around, facing you.
It started walking towards you now, and you froze as you kept shooting. It got awfully close until, suddenly, it stopped moving, falling to the ground.
It groaned and screamed and moved for a few moments, until it finally settled, giving you and Natasha time to breath. You fell to your knees, moving into a sitting position to catch your breath. That thing must’ve been the scariest thing you had ever seen.
Natasha quickly came towards you, climbing the truck and kneeling next to you.
She laid her hand on your back, her other hand coming up to your cheek to turn you face towards her. “Are you okay, did it get you?” she asked you, and you shook you head as you closed your eyes.
“What the fuck was that thing?” you asked her, and she shook her head as she replied. “I have no idea. I’ve never seen anything like it. It looked to be some mutated version of a Shambler.”
You nodded, sighing deeply.
“Maybe that was patient zero?...” you thought aloud, and Natasha seemed to think for a moment before looking at you.
“Maybe, we are close to a hospital,” Natasha confirmed, and you nodded.
“Let’s hope we never run into such a thing ever again,” you mentioned, and this time Natasha nodded. “I found some vents, maybe we can get out through there,” you said, pointing towards the opening.
Natasha stood up, walking towards the vent and glancing inside, shining a flashlight in it to get a better look.
“It looks clear, and it’s probably the best shot we got at getting out of here,” Natasha confirmed, and you nodded as you stood up too, walking towards her. You looked around the parking garage one more time, confirming that there was no other way to get out.
When you turned around, Natasha motioned for you to get in first. You turned on your flashlight and crawled in, feeling even more squished than before.
After crawling for a little while, you finally found daylight, pushing the vent at the outside away and crawling out.
“Fucking hell,” you stated as you stretched, immediately recognising the three figures that were standing close by as Wolves. When Natasha crawled out as well, you pulled her up at her arm as fast as possible, ducking behind a crumbled stone wall.
“This day just keeps getting better,” you mentioned as you reached for your gun once more, ready to take the Wolves out if they got to close.
“Let’s try and get around them,” Natasha said as she laid her hand on your arm, pushing it down. “If they see us, we’ll just draw more of them,” she stated, and you nodded as you put your gun in your belt.
“What’s your plan?” you asked Natasha, and she thought for a moment before pointing towards a street. “We make it over there, follow the road down and we’ll get to a movie theatre. We can rest up there,” Natasha explained, and you looked at her sceptically.
“Are you sure?” you asked her, and she nodded.
“I’ve been staying there for a few days before I tried to make it further into the city,” Natasha explained, reaching for her silenced gun.
You reached for yours too, and Natasha laid her hand on yours again. “Only for emergencies,” she stated, and you nodded as you loaded it.
“I’m almost out anyway,” you told her, and Natasha checked her gun, mentioning that she was almost out as well.
“We’ll just try and not kill anybody then,” Natasha stated, as she checked the position of the Wolves before moving towards a cafe, climbing through an open window and disappearing behind it.
You checked over your shoulder, seeing the Wolves still looking the other way, before you too moved towards the cafe, following Natasha’s movements.
Moving through the cafe, staying low, Natasha led you to the back door, going through it and sneaking to the next building. You could hear the Wolves talking, but so far they seemed to be oblivious to the fact they were being watched.
You and Natasha made it all the way to the end of the street, and you didn’t appear to have been followed when you looked back.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After walking a few blocks, you two finally arrived at the movie theatre. You two got inside, barricading the door and plopping down on a couch, finally being able to catch your breath.
You sat down on the couch, dropping your bag at your feet as you sat back, exhausted from the days happenings. Natasha on the other hand, was still standing, telling you she was gonna try and find if the electricity was still working.
You acknowledged her words, laying back on the couch.
After a few minutes, the lights turned on, and you knew Natasha must’ve found some generator.
Natasha made her way back towards you, setting her own stuff by the couch in front of you.
“We can stay here for the night,” Natasha stated, sitting down on her own couch. You nodded, to tired to respond.
Natasha chuckled, seeing your exhausted state and deciding not to push you to talk anymore.
“Get some sleep,” she simply said, and you hummed in acknowledgement as you let sleep overtake you. Natasha laid down on the couch as well, she herself following close behind.

The King is said to believe that Harry and Meghan's absence at the coronation would be a greater distraction than their presence, so is prepared to make concessions to persuade them to attend.
Oh really? Because this sounds as if Meghan isn’t allowed to attend the coronation and is working any pr angle to get her ass there.
However, William fears that unless Harry's visit is tightly scripted, he could steal the limelight by, for example, going on a walkabout in a deprived London borough with Meghan.
Oh, so this is Meghan’s plan that the DM is printing? Why thank you for alerting the palace comms team to this plan, Megs. Last I recall, the BRF put the kibosh on any pap photos of Harry & Meghan in the wild in the UK, so basically Meghan doesn’t have anything to negotiate with. Good to know.
'The family is split, and all the indications are that Harry is being advised to agree to nothing at this stage and 'play it long' right up to the last minute, which is making negotiations with him very difficult.
“Right up to the last minute.” Oh, you mean like they did will they/won’t they attend pr bullshit the Sussexes pulled with the Platinum Jubilee?
The family isn’t split. They don’t want Meghan there, but they do want Harry to ditch her ass and divorce her. This story only works if you don’t realize that Meghan has been leaking all the William vs. Harry vs. Charles stories in the tabs for the last several weeks.
'Harry's camp made clear that the idea that he would just attend the Coronation and behave himself but then be stripped of his titles was a total non-starter.
'While he might decide at some point to discard his titles of his own volition, he objects to the idea of being forcibly stripped of them.
'He resents being lumped together with Andrew in the public mind as the two 'problem Princes', when he considers the circumstances to be totally different.'
Again, Meghan talking about the titles. She wants to make sure her two meal tickets are BRF-associated in the future.
Last night, both Lambeth Palace and Buckingham Palace declined to comment, while a source close to Prince William said they were not aware of any such negotiations over the Coronation.
And there you have it. This whole story is BULLSHIT.
Harry's representatives did not respond to a request for comment.
Oh really? Not a representative for “the Sussexes”? Very telling.
I can’t believe people let themselves get worked up over this article.

 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
Abby had been moving around Seattle for a long while now. She had left the wolves after realising they were just a bad as the fireflies had once been. She had discovered that Isaac had been knowingly kidnapping Scar children in the hopes of making the parents turn themselves in. None of them ever did, and Isaac had ended up killing the Scar children each time.
Abby strongly disagreed with Isaac’s method, even though Scars were a pain in the ass, and she had left the WLF.
After leaving the WLF, it didn’t take long for her to be captured by a group of scars. They had jumped her out of nowhere, and they had tried to kill her by hanging her and cutting her guts out. Before that could happen, however, one Scar child was brought in by the other Scars.
Apparently they had betrayed their own people, just like Abby had done.
When the elder Scar gave the order to ‘cut the wings’ of the Scar child, the other Scars managed to break one of the girls arms before an arrow pierced their neck, killing them.
The eldest Scar reached for the hammer in an attempt to kill the Scar girl, yet before she managed to do so, Abby was able to reach herself forward, holding the elder Scar in a chokehold with her thighs, successfully killing her.
A little boy ran from a hiding spot, helping the Scar girl up. After, he had cut Abby loose, allowing her to breath once more.
Abby and the two Scar children moved on together, helping the other as they were trying to get away from the remaining Scars in the area still hunting them. The oldest Scar girl introduced herself as Yara, and the younger Scar boy introduced himself as Lev.
After a day or two Yara had become violently ill.
The arm that she had broken was red and swollen, and it was hurting Yara more than she could handle. It didn’t take long before Abby realised that the bone was shattered, and if the arm didn’t come off, Yara would die.
Unfortunately, Abby was not a doctor, nor was Lev. She had no idea as to how to save Yara.
Abby went over all the options in her head, mentally beating herself up over the fact that she did not pay attention when her father tried to teach her medical stuff.
After a long debate, and talking with Yara and Lev, they decided that Abby should try and take the arm off, even though the risk was high. If the arm was not soon amputated, Yara would die.
And so, Abby had gone to the hospital, gathering all the supplies she needed before heading back to Yara and Lev.
The surgery was surprisingly successful, and Yara was thriving after her arm had been taken off. The three of them were now living in Seattle, trying to find a way out of the city without being spotted by either Wolves or Scars.
-------------------------------------------------------------
You groaned slightly as you woke up, squinting your eyes to adjust to the light that was coming in through the upper windows.
“You’re a deep sleeper…” you heard someone say from beside you.
You groaned once more as you sat up, looking to your right to find Natasha sitting there, cleaning her gun.
“How long have you been awake?” you asked as you got up from the couch, reaching for your jacket and putting it on. You shivered slightly at the coldness of the Seattle winter. Even though the winter was nearly over, and spring was soon to start, the cold breeze was undeniable.
“A few hours. I’m a pretty light sleeper, and patrols moved along this theatre multiple times already,” Natasha explained as she finished cleaning her gun, putting it back in the holster on her thigh.
You frowned at that, glancing towards the door, seeing a chair had been put against it in a way that made it impossible to enter from the outside.
“Don’t worry, it’s nothing new,” Natasha explained as she stood up.
“Do they move past here often? And are they Scars or Wolves?” You asked.
“Usually Scars. They patrol this area quite often, but they always leave the theatre alone for some reason. Too much old world stuff, probably,” Natasha explained, reaching into her bag and handing you something to eat.
“Here you go. You should eat something, we had quite the day yesterday.”
You nodded as you reached for the energy bar, thanking Natasha and eating it quickly.
“So, I know you’re totally not looking for someone, but if you are, I was thinking of maybe moving towards the tv station. I heard some chatter over the radio saying trespassers had been spotted, and I figured it might be my sister, or you mystery person,” Natasha teased as she reached towards her bag, picking it up and putting it on her shoulders.
“You’re subtle,” you remarked as you followed her actions, picking up your own bag.
“How far from here is the tv station?” you asked Natasha as you followed her towards the door, waiting for her to remove the chair so you could leave.
“It’s about a day’s walk from here, but I’m sure we’ll be fine. We can find some place to haul up there if we have to,” Natasha explained as she carefully opened the door, checking the surroundings thoroughly before stepping aside, motioning you to go first.
You carefully left the building, watching as Natasha pulled the door close, grabbing a key ring from her pocket that held a bunch of keys.
After Natasha used one of the keys to lock the door, she put the keys back in her pocket, starting to move towards the other buildings before stopping, pointing to the tall buildings in the distance.
“That’s where we’re headed. The tv station should be around those other tall buildings,” Natasha pointed out.
“It’s not close…” you stated as you grabbed your gun, counting your bullets before putting it back into your belt. “I’m very low on ammo. Once encounter with either Scars, Wolves or infected and I’m out,” you explained.
Natasha nodded. “Me too. We should find some place to stock up on our supplies,” Natasha stated.
You two started moving, heading towards an old street full of shops. While moving through a few, finding multiple bullets and other sorts of useful supplies, you met Natasha outside the other shops. You both decided to check different shops, wanting to move towards the tv station as quick as possible before you lost too much daylight.
When you and Natasha we done in the shops, you decided to start moving again. It was a long and difficult walk to get to the tv station.
You two had to get around a ridiculous amount of water, and with the increased amount of Scar and Wolves patrols, most likely because of the spotted trespasser, it wasn’t easy avoiding the water and the people, not to mention the fact that the roads towards the tv station were very rough and messy. Many cars blocked your way, hindering you from moving on the same road for longer than a mile or so.
After walking for about half the day, and manoeuvring through multiple building due to the roughed up roads, you were finally starting to see the buildings increasing.
The tv station was towards the heart of the city, and so the building increasing signalled that you were getting closer. However, when you were finally starting to get more hopeful, you heard gunshots coming from the distance,
You turned towards Natasha, seeing her grabbing her gun and being more alert of your surroundings.
You reached for your gun as well, making sure it was loaded as you followed Natasha, staying close behind her and you two moved forward. Unfortunately, the gun shots were coming from the direction you were going in, and as you didn’t have many choices but to either move forward or go back, you were pretty much forced to move towards the gun shot noises.
After walking for about half an hour, you started hearing Clicker noises, and not just a few.
A lot of Clicker noises could be heard, indicating that there was most likely a hoard moving towards your location.
Natasha grabbed your hand as she dragged you towards one of the stores in the street, using her body weight to slam the door open, helping you inside before entering herself.
It would be the best to try and wait there until the hoard would pass.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Abby reached towards Lev as she pulled him down towards her hiding spot, wanting to stay hidden from the multiple Scars that were attacking them.
Abby, Lev, and Yara had been moving through this particular area of the city for almost two days. It was fairly quiet and there didn’t seem to be many things to go wrong. However, as everyone knows, nothing can ever be easy in a world such as this one.
The group of three was jumped by multiple Scars, hitting Abby in her arm as they were moving through a certain street.
Yara had fired multiple bullets to try and distract the multiple Scars attacking them, giving Lev enough time to bandage Abby’s arm in a messy way, hoping to stop the bleeding enough for them to finish the fight.
After bandaging the wound quickly, Lev reached towards his bow, taking out several Scars before he was being fired at.
Yara was in a hiding spot a little further from them, shooting with her gun as she did her best to stay hidden. Abby now reached for her own gun, using it to kill multiple Scars before the familiar sound of infected could be heard.
When she turned to her left to see how badly they were screwed, she was able to spot multiple Clickers and Runners heading towards them. All the shooting must have drawn them out, Abby figured as she looked towards her own gun, soon realising the amount of bullets she had left would not be enough for the Scars and the infected.
Abby whistled towards Yara, letting her know she was planning on running.
Yara fired multiple shots, enough to make the Scars retreat to their hiding spots so that Yara could quickly run towards Lev and Abby, getting ready to run away from the infected with them.
The Scars quickly started shooting again, the fact that Infected were heading their way seemingly not bothering them much.
However, when the Clickers started getting a little too close for comfort, even the Scars retreated towards higher ground, using the multiple buildings as coverage while Abby, Yara and Lev were left out on the street.
“What are we gonna do?” Lev asked, looking up at Abby.
“I don’t know. We have to try and run, go back the way we came,” Abby stated as she motioned towards the road they came from.
“Aren’t we heading towards the tv station anymore?” Lev asked.
“We have to get away from the Seraphites first, Lev. After that, we will find a different route to the tv station,” Yara explained, pulling Lev’s arm so he was standing in an upright position.
“Let’s go,” Abby stated as she moved past Lev and Yara, leading the way as she ran towards the passage that they originally used to get onto the street. After helping Yara and Lev through, she stepped through herself, lifting the iron woven fence as she moved past it.
However, when she went to move through the hole, her arm got caught on the iron fence, the bandage ripping off and the wound starting to bleed heavily once more.
“Abby!” Lev yelled as he noticed the blood starting to pour.
“Leave it!” Abby ordered as she grabbed Lev’s hand, running through the street as she infected started increasing on the other side of the fence. They were with too many and their weight was starting to become too much for the fence to hold.
“Through here!” Yara yelled as she managed to get the door to a store open, pushing it open all the way to allow Lev and Abby to enter before entering herself, grabbing a led pipe that was laying on the ground, using it to barricade the door.
However, once they were inside they did not have any time to take a breath, nor have any time to take care of Abby’s wound as they heard a gun load behind them.
They were not alone in the store.
“Turn around,” a stern voice spoke, a gun being raised towards the group.
Slowly, Abby, Yara and Lev turned around, Abby using her body to try and shield Lev and Yara a bit, pushing Lev behind her a bit more as she fully turned around.
“Well, fuck,”
-------------------------------------------------------------
“Abby?!” you spoke in surprise when the three figures had turned around.
Abby fucking Anderson was standing in front of you, joined by two fucking Scars. She sure had changed. She had always been stronger than the average girl, but damn did she build some muscle since the last time you had seen her.
“Y/n…?” Abby questioned is confusion.
“What the fuck are you doing with Scars? You’re not a Scar, are you?” you asked hesitantly, scared it might be true.
“Seraphites.”
You heard a quiet voice speak from behind Abby.
“What?”
“That’s… Lev…” Abby started. “Listen, we’re not with the Scars. They are actually the ones that are hunting us,” Abby explained.
“Y/n, who are these people?” Natasha asked, slowly lowering her gun as she glanced towards you.
“This is the person I was looking for…” you explained, al though you did not take your eyes off of Abby. “You changed… You look good…” you said, unsure of what to say. You wanted to find Abby. You wanted to help her. However, you didn’t really account for actually finding her, let alone knowing what to say.
“What are you doing here?” Abby asked, looking at you a little sceptically.
“I heard people were looking for you. I wanted to come and help,” you explained, now realising it sounded a little awkward. You truly did want to help Abby, yet you hadn’t seen her in so long. Why would anyone simply risk their life to follow a lead about someone you might have known who might have been in danger.
“Is this your pretty friend you told us about? The special one?” you heard the boy behind Abby ask.
Abby’s cheeks flushed a little when she nodded.
You smiled.
“As much as I’m enjoying this awkward reunion, we should try and move higher up. We should get away from the street,” Natasha spoke, breaking the silence.
“I agree. It’s not safe to stay here,” Yara agreed.
“Maybe we should take care of that first,” you spoke as you motioned your head towards Abby’s arm, the blood still violently pouring out.
“Here,” Natasha said as she opened her backpack, reaching in it to grab a first aid kit. She then moved towards Abby, helping her sit down as she carefully unwrapped what was left of the make shift bandage.
You moved towards Abby as well, kneeling on the ground next to her and opening the first aid kit. You grabbed some needle and thread before grabbing some rubbing alcohol, sterilising your equipment before pouring some of it on a cloth.
“This will sting,” you told Abby as you gently grabbed her arm.
Her skin was warm, a big difference from your cold arm. Abby hissed as you moved the cloth over the wound, cleaning the blood away and sterilising it.
After finishing, you carefully stitched her wound close, letting Natasha wrap it with a clean bandage after you were finished.
“Now we should move,” Yara said the moment you two were done, already walking towards the back of the building to see if there were any accessible stairs. Lev followed her, wanting to stay close to his big sister.
Natasha stuffed the supplies back in her bag, standing up and going after Yara and Lev. You and Abby stayed behind, Abby getting up first before extending you her hand.
“So you think I’m pretty, huh?”

Peaky Movie News!!!
How far advanced are you on the Peaky Blinders movie?
“It’s gonna happen. It’s gonna happen this September. I’m just doing the final polishes, which will continue up until the day before we start shooting. But we’re there. We’ve got everything sorted, we’ve got all the commitments we need, we are ready to go. I think the film is gonna be a step up again, and it’s gonna be great that Peaky fans can meet in one place and watch it. The budget will be bigger, but also because we know we’re ending this chapter, we’re all going to try to do our best. Cillian [Murphy] is really up for it. So I can’t wait for it to start shooting.”
Of course now, Cillian is an Oscar winner too…
“Isn’t it amazing? I’m so pleased for him because he deserves it. After every award that he won, he would text and say, ‘I really can’t wait to be doing Peaky.’ Confirming that none of this was going to change what we’re going to do next.”
Do you think audiences are going to be shocked or delighted by what happens in the movie?
“I hope shocked and delighted and horrified and then delighted again and then shocked again!”
