Pearl is a stubborn, dreamy, and determined girl with a deep passion for history and literature. She is her father’s seventh child—and the only one born mute, due to a vocal cord disability that makes her unable to speak. Struggling to express her thoughts and opinions, Pearl turns to writing, first in diaries and later through her own stories, which only strengthened her love for storytelling.

She doesn’t always perceive others’ true intentions, which can lead people to view her as naive, especially because of her tendency to be overly kind. Pearl is also impulsive; her stubborn nature often drives her to break rules or make rash decisions in pursuit of her dreams and goals.

Yet, that same stubbornness fuels her courage. Despite lacking a literal voice, Pearl fights tirelessly to express her beliefs. She always stands up for herself when confronted with injustice, even when others fail to recognize the value of her words.

Backstory:

Pearl Tritonfiglia is the seventh and youngest daughter of the King of the Coral Sea. She had a good and privileged childhood alongside her older sisters and her father, as her mother had fallen ill and passed away when Pearl was still very young. Pearl was the only one among her sisters born with a vocal cord disability that left her unable to speak. Although she learned to communicate through sign language and other non-verbal methods, she often felt unheard at home. Her opinions were frequently dismissed or seen as naive, not only because of her disability, but also because she was the youngest.

Despite her sisters’ affection and genuine love for her, Pearl often felt out of place within her own family. Her father, King Triton III, tried to be caring, but he remained emotionally distant. He was especially overprotective of Pearl—not just because of her disability, but also because she bore the closest resemblance to her late mother.

At school, Pearl had few friends. Most children didn’t understand sign language, and while she could communicate in other ways, such as writing, her classmates still kept their distance. While most didn't try hard enough because of the communication barrier, others felt intimidated by her princess status and, sometimes, even by her appearance. Pearl was already considered a strikingly beautiful mermaid, even at a young age.

She was painfully lonely until one day she stood up for a young octopus merman named Azul Ashengrotto, defending him from cruel classmates who mocked him for his weight and for being half-octopus.

That moment marked the beginning of a close friendship. Pearl and Azul became inseparable, and over the years, their bond deepened into a mutual crush. They remained close until early middle school, when Pearl’s father abruptly transferred her to another school, not even allowing her the chance to say goodbye to her only real friend. After that, all contact between Pearl and Azul was lost.

In the years that followed, Pearl’s loneliness only grew. She didn’t make new friends, but it was this very isolation that led her to fall in love with writing. Unable to speak and never truly listened to, not even by her own family, Pearl began pouring her thoughts into a diary. This soon blossomed into original storytelling, mostly romantic narratives, that allowed her to dream of someone who would truly care for her ideas and opinions.

During those quiet years, Pearl also developed an unhealthy relationship with food, which led to significant weight gain. Still, she doesn’t mind. She likes herself just as she is, and she has since overcome those habits.

As the end of middle school neared and talk of high school began, Pearl expressed a strong desire to attend Night Raven College. She had always been fascinated by the surface world, and she deeply admired the Sea Witch. But her father immediately rejected the idea, insisting that if she were to study on the surface, it would have to be at the Royal Sword Academy—the very school he himself once attended.

Pearl brought up the subject again and again, only to be met with the same arguments and a firm “no.”

The last time she tried was after one of her older sisters learned that Azul would also be attending Night Raven College. That was the final spark. Pearl already wanted to study on the surface. She already wanted to go to NRC. But learning that the only true friend she’d ever had would be there too? That was enough for her to finally stand up to her father.

The confrontation turned into a heated fight. In a moment of fury, her father destroyed Pearl’s manuscripts, accusing her of chasing after a boy she hadn’t seen since childhood and calling her naive. He completely disregarded the many other reasons she had for wanting to attend NRC. He declared that as long as she lived under his roof, she would follow his rules, end of discussion.

Her father didn’t mean to hurt her. He believed he was doing what was best. But, once again, he failed to listen.

So Pearl made a decision—an impulsive, determined one. She would go to NRC, with or without his approval. With the help of a loyal servant of her father, a crab merman who had helped raise her, she came up with a plan: she would secretly enroll at Night Raven College, while pretending to attend RSA with his help.

And so, she did. Pearl left for the surface, enrolled at NRC, and began a new chapter of her life.

Relationships With Other Characters:

Even at NRC, Pearl still doesn’t have many friends, but the few friendships she does have are very special to her. Here are some highlights:

♡ Azul Ashengrotto: As soon as Azul saw Pearl during the ceremony, he recognized her immediately, even though she looked different from the girl he remembered. Pearl, however, didn't recognize him at first. So, he made an effort to get closer to her again, until she finally realized who he was. He was so different from what she remembered, and she even felt a bit bad for not recognizing him at first. Pearl never stopped having a crush on him, and Azul's feelings for her came back quickly as soon as they started getting close again. Azul acts in a way around Pearl he never does around others: he's gentle, caring, and will never ask for anything in return when she asks for a favor from him.

Jade Leech: Jade treats Pearl in a composed and gentle way, like she's something fragile and precious. He's attentive and is always quick to notice when she's uncomfortable or overwhelmed, and is patient while communicating with her. Somehow, Pearl always knows when his teasing is genuine and when it's hiding a warning.

Floyd Leech: Floyd adores Pearl in his own chaotic way. He's loud, teasing and unpredictable, but very protective. He nicknamed her "Tiny Pearl", claiming that there is no better nickname for her than his own name, since he claims it already describes her well: "small, round, and shiny". As much as Azul isn't the biggest fan of this nickname, both he and Pearl know that Floyd doesn't mean any harm (or does he?)

Genevieve Adams: Pearl and Genevieve met at the beginning of Book 3, and their connection was instant. Even though Genevieve didn't know sign language, she always made an effort to talk to Pearl in any way she could. Pearl even went to confront Azul when she found out about the contract he had made with Genevieve (and, of course, she also went to confront him because she didn't know about his contract scheme until that moment). They're not in the same class, but they're always together, and they're each other's first real female friendship. With time and coexistence, Genevieve begins to understand sign language, and begins to communicate more fluidly with Pearl.

Grim: Always being with Genevieve, Pearl ended up cultivating a small friendship with him too. Grim, at first, finds it strange that Pearl can't speak and even comments how he finds the way she communicates with her hands is weird, not understanding what sign language is. Over time, Grim also ends up becoming attached to Pearl, who always treats him with affection. Similar to Genevieve, Pearl also finds herself picking him up as if he were a cat, but he lets her, like he lets Genevieve do the same.

Fun Facts:

Many students confuse Pearl's disability and believe that she is deaf. Pearl does not have any type of hearing disability and hears perfectly well.

In addition to narrative stories, Pearl also writes poems.

She carries a small notepad and pencil in her pocket so she can talk to classmates who don't know sign language.

The literature club Pearl is a part of doesn’t have many members. Its activities are usually similar to those of a book club, where participants choose a novel and try to read at least one chapter a day to discuss at meetings.

Azul is one of the only students at NRC who entered school fluent in sign language, just like the Leech twins. Azul made a point of learning the language when he and Pearl studied together as kids, and the twins learned it from him over time. Therefore, they are the ones who talk to Pearl the most on a daily basis.

The monster reigning at the top of the new Blue Lock Ranking. Not only are his kicking, dribbling technique, and physical abilities outstanding, he's also able to read opponents' plays several moves ahead and manipulate them at will, making him the true ruler of the field. He's an extraordinary player with no flaws.

Rin is the younger brother of Itoshi Sae, who is selected as one of the "New Generation World 11". His goal is using "Blue Lock" to join Japanese National Team and surpass his older brother. Edwin Payne, 34, design specialist. Grew up in a wealthy family that couldn't make space for his autism, went through a period of acute depression as a young adult as a response to the trauma of constant homophobic & ableist bullying and masking in upper secondary. Occasionally socially awkward but covers it up with faux arrogance. Meets Charles during compatibility tests for Queer Eye and falls in love instantly.

Thomas King, 36, grooming expert. Grew up in Port Townsend in a working class family with four siblings (he's the middle child), also faced some bullying. Got into theatre and make up young, moved to London for a job on the West End and never left. Met Charles in the Tube when Charles helped him shake off a guy who didn't like that he was wearing a skirt.

Charles Rowland, 34, food & wine. Ran away from home at 16 to escape a violent home, met Crystal Palace soon after and ended up having a son with her at 18. Extremely repressed bisexual who only really accepted his sexuality around age 27-28, in great part through his friendship with Thomas. He hasn't had any contact with his parents since he left them.

Niko Sasaki, 33, fashion expert. Japanese young man who studied in America from high school on and made his business first as a personal shopper and then as the founder of a clothing line. Comes out as a trans woman after the second season of the show and stays as part of the cast afterwards. Bonds with Edwin over both being autistic.

Mick O'Leary, 55, culture/life coach. Licensed therapist from a long line of longshoremen and also a leather daddy who was a pillar of his local queer community and believes he can help more people through participating in the show. Also in charge of a 3mn Queer Culture segment at the end of each episode. Adopts the others like the kids he never had.

The plot:

It is the second episode of season 3. The hero of the week is a heroine: Ms. Amarita Sandhu*, 54, nominated by her 18 year old daughter Diana. Amarita moved into the neighborhood two years ago following the death of her husband, who was the love of her life, and immediately became invaluable to the ageing residents of her street. When she isn't working as a secretary in the local doctor's office, she helps her neighbours with their groceries, cleaning, and personal lives. Outside of that, she mostly stays home and cleans or watches TV on the couch, or goes for an early night. Amarita's old hobbies all involved her husband and she stopped practicing them when he died, which makes Diana worry that she will be even more isolated once she leaves for university in the autumn. The Fab Five's mission this week is to help Amarita network outside of her neighbourhood!

The Fab Five meet a new hero, and none of them is as shocked as Charles when it turns out that Ms. Amarita Sandhu was once better known as Mrs. Mary Rowland. It's lucky Charles can rely on his colleagues and friends, especially Edwin, even if he can't help but get a little overwhelmed everytime Edwin hugs him better.

Sophie has the need to be helpful to others, which can be troublesome to her by turning into a situation where she takes on tasks she might not be able to do.

She has a determined spirit even if she screws up, she just tells herself to take note of the mistake and try again no matter how embarrassed she may be. A hard worker who has the drive to succeed.

When she doesn’t know what the topic others are talking about, she just stuffs some food in her face or tries not to be noticed so it prevents people from including her until they talk about a topic she is familiar with.

She doesn’t want to say she doesn’t know. She has to cling to her pride as a royal even for a bit. It’s a struggle of not wanting to look stupid yet she doesn’t know what else to do at this point.

There are times when she mumbles and ends up walking while doing so. Oftentimes she ends up somewhere else and she’ll only realize it when she’s finished mumbling her thoughts.

Family History

Sophie is the daughter of the Queen Meredith. The sole ruler of her home kingdom, Enchantis, and she is next in line for the throne. Though her future is set in stone, her mother always made time for her and was very involved in her royal education.

Her kingdom is called, Enchantis, a castle built on a large island surrounded by other large islands where villages and towns are built. She has step siblings who are twins. She was very welcoming to her new family members though she has to constantly remind her step-brother that being royalty comes with responsibility.

Her kingdom houses plenty of artifacts that are very old, one of them was a magical amulet that could grant powers to anyone who wears it. The amulet is now in Sophie’s possession and she promises her mother that she will guard it responsibly.

Sophie didn’t expect her mother to remarry, and to a commoner of all people. She was surprised when her mother told her about marrying the man named, Ryland. Sophie supported her mother’s new love while the council voiced their objection.

Despite the council’s arguments, Meredith and Ryland got married and he becomes the new king. Though the newlyweds decided to let Meredith rule as she always did while Ryland takes care of the smaller tasks like hosting events and charities.

As for Ryland’s children, Jemma and Amir, they were announced as the new prince and princess alongside their father. Amir was ecstatic in his new life as he always dreamed what it would be like to live in the palace. While Jemma was a bit hesitant and anxious since she might be forced to behave a certain way and thinks that the nobles would look down on them.

Sophie, being the helpful girl, assisted in her new siblings’ adjustment to the palace. Constantly reminding Amir that though it is luxurious it comes with a responsibility and would always remind him to not let the wealth and power shape his identity.

As for Jemma, Sophie would cover for her when she slips up during fancy parties. Though Sophie doesn’t know what life is like as a commoner, she can understand the feeling of not wanting to leave the life you’re familiar with.

As for Ryland, he was just as nervous as Sophie was in terms of trying to get along. They overthink about what to say or how to behave around the other. By the time they both realized they were fretting over nothing they had a good laugh. The step father was actually a nice guy who shares the open-mindedness like her mother.

Though when her father needs help organizing events, Sophie is there to provide her opinion on what the latest trends are. Ryland is thankful for her help.

Overall, the new family members are slowly adjusting to the new life as royals and Sophie finally has more company when her mother was too busy.

Childhood Memories

Sophie remembers her mother would show her old journals of an ex-royal who left the kingdom to discover the outside world. It was forbidden by the council to possess any outside knowledge, but Sophie’s mother thought it was harmless. So, the queen lets Sophie read the journal in secret.

This gave Sophie this wonder of what the world would be like if she were to leave the kingdom one day. A part of her is hesitant to speak up about her want to see what’s beyond the kingdom. due to the council’s insistence.

And when her step family moved in, she had quite the shock at trying to handle two twins who are such polar opposites. There may be some disagreements, but they are close as family could be.

She is diligent and hopeful, never gives up on a task until it is done. Though she needs to learn how to lean onto others for support when she needs it. During the first few weeks of the school, Filly and the other animals were the only ones she’d talk to. Hopefully she’d talk and make friends with the other students.

The first few months have had her frozen in shock. Like the floating teapots that were rioting at the time. The explosion of glitter from one of Ella’s creative process. The monkeys who nearly stole her necklace when she went to Magiaoasis and even the brawl between teachers and the students secretly betting on said teachers.

Her face was just frozen into perpetual terror at the sight.

She currently has a hard time trying to adjust to a lot of culture shock. It may be hard, but she’s trying at least…

Filly

She is a cocker spaniel with pink ears and tail, with pinkish white fur. She was given to Sophie as a childhood present and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Filly often helps Sophie out whenever she feels troubled. If Sophie isn’t able to say what she needs to then Filly does it for her with a loud bark.

Filly has a love for ribbons because Sophie would always have a box of ribbons ready for her. The dog is quite touchy about anyone trying to touch her precious ribbons.

Zenius

He is a Pegasus in Enchantis who was given to Sophie in her 12th birthday and she raised him as her flying companion for the kingdom’s derby racing.

Zenius is eager to race to the skies but he tends to be quite bashful towards onlookers which sometimes cuts his focus. Which often led him to falling from of the sky mid-flight.

Despite his bumbling mistakes, Sophie still cherishes him as her friend and racing horse. He wasn’t brought to DCA until a few months into the semester because he was getting anxious.

Sophie has no unique magic yet.

As for magical skills, she has a decent amount of magic meant for daily life such as levitation spells and repair spells.

The spell Sophie likes to use the most are spells that soothe her nerves. They come out as little lilac flowers that float around her head and dissolve. Its what helps her step-siblings calm down or when she’s having trouble thinking straight due to the stress.

As for combat, she only knows defensive spells as well as average dispelling for curses. Anything that involves direct combat is beyond her capabilities.

She has a telepathic connection to her amulet called, Avaloria.

Meredith Fascinare

The queen and mother of Sophie, she is a benevolent ruler who is more open-minded than the council, she always jokes with Sophie that she thinks they’re always so grumpy they might end up looking like trolls. She is calm and patient with others and would always hear out both sides before speaking her opinion.

Ryland Fascinare

The step-father of Sophie who used to work as a jeweler in a small village. It wasn’t until he was asked to present a gift for the queen along with the other citizens that he fell for the queen at first sight. He is a jolly man who always finds amusement in everything, he is a bit shy with having to be taught the etiquette by Sophie and the queen, but he tries his best to adjust.

Jemma Fascinare (12)

The younger twin who likes to run around and play knight with the other boys back at the village. She finds being royalty a bit difficult but she tries her best when she sees Sophie trying hard too. She dreams of becoming a knight one day.

Amir Fascinare (12)

The older twin easily adjusted to the palace life. He tries to follow Sophie’s lead though he fumbles a lot due to being unfamiliar with the etiquette. But Sophie is always there to make sure he gets it right and guides him along the way.

The character’s name, “Sophie” is a variation of the name she was twisted from which is Sofia from Sofia the first. Her last name, “Fascinare”, is from the word fascinating. There is no other reason the artist used this name other than to make it sound fancy enough for royalty.

Sophie was going to have several abilities after every overblot was resolved much like how Sofia gains more abilities in her amulet like being able to shrink or turn into any animal she sees. But the artist is still brainstorming this idea.

The artist also wanted to make Sophie’s story in the future be a variation of Overblot since they want to make an antagonist that will be her adversary. (this part is still being brainstormed)

2. How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)

🙈 too long... so yknow ive mentioned, Bastien aka The Mechanic existed from the very beginning as a concept and i had some things pinned down immediately for him (ie human, trans guy, does not get with Wolfgang despite their best flirting efforts until it's too late, more down to earth personality) but he was in a very ... very different place, design wise. back then i was thinking more along the lines of long hair and basing his looks on a model, Willy Cartier iirc.

anyway im feeling generous so i will show you this complete stranger

who is this........... its telling i didnt draw him even a single other time, because it was just so empty of anything interesting.

then basically in 2023 i retouched Wolfgangs whole world and got to work on figuring out his design properly. it took a couple more months to fully stabilize after the initial concepts, and yea!

6. What was the thought process behind their appearance? Did you go mostly for the aesthetic or are there other reasons they look the way they do?

i was figuring out his new design based on 1)physical traits i wanted to include for sure (ie big sad cow eyes with pronounced eyelashes, dark hair, hairy) 2) things i find attractive and fun to draw (all of the above and his body type) 3) contrasting and complimentary elements with Wolfgang's aesthetic (hence the darker colors, natural materials, earthy palette)

i call him the King of Bad Decisions and the speedrunner any% of ruining all his relationships fhdks

-Is a prince from his home country ( his grandmother is the current ruler older sister) but lived in a cottage with his mother and Rolene for 14 years

-lives with his Aunt and Uncle given that his mother is under arrest for kidnapping Rolene at the magic tower.

-given what his mother did many nobles and even his grandfather looks down on him and only sees him as a political tool. The king absolutely adores Flori making the pressure of trying to marry him even worse but he always refuses.

-feels like people see him as something desirable then an actual human

Backstory

Flori was one of the lost royal children when his mother ran away with him and his cousin Rolene bit after his father died. Completely isolated from the world for 14 years in a cottage being raised as twins.

During that time the two only really had each other so they were really close. Their mother kept them busy with many activities and lessons but Rolene growing curiosity for the outside world got stronger. At first Mother said no that there’s a bunch of danger out there but Flori managed to convince her just take them to the forest.

At 14 when Mother went out for errands Rolene and Flori snuck out to get some flowers from a field they found last time. Who knew that would be the day they were finally found. Coming back to the site of their home being searched by guards they ran away hoping to find their mom. Searching for hours and feeling tired the two fell asleep by a lake later to be found by no other than his Uncle.

- Adjusting to this new environment was hard on the two. New home, having to get used family members,staff that do things for you , teachers and a bunch of lessons. Worst is that learning some of the lies his mother told even though him and Rolene aren’t twins and have different birthdays that wouldn’t make them any less of siblings.Flori released that the staff treated him differently to his sibling. They were much harder on him and talked down to him. Rolene saw this to and was angered by this refusal to go to lessons and dismissed staff and staying by Flori side. Even though the staff and teachers were replaced that only did so much.

-At home Flori feels like a desired item than a person. Due to what his mother did and not being a heir Flori is viewed as something to gain power. Constantly being flooded with marriage proposals due to his grandfather and being favored by the king.

Thank you so much! I’m okay with sharing most of the Links-and most of the non-Link cast that will show up eventually. I’m just keeping 3 of them a secret for now.

Here are the first batch of Links(8 of them) + two others we’ll meet and some info:

Rinku - mid-20s to early-30s, he lost count while in prison - he/him - First Hero: Basically the main character of this story, but we won’t focus on only his POV, just mainly on him since he’s kinda the reason this whole mess started. He generally doesn’t like people(he’s got some trust issues)but he’s always somewhat polite to new people.

Sir Raven - 26ish - he/thon but they/them is fine - From the OoA manga: That’s right I’m making a Link. Don’t call him that though, he won’t answer. He’s a bit of a goofy and mysterious guy in the manga. I’m making him more mysterious and goofy. He has the magical rings from that game as well, his favorite is the Green Ring. He’s also bad at keeping track of time.

Calli - 18.4 - he/maybe they??/maybe she????(he’s still trying to figure stuff out) - Age of Calamity: He can’t speak and and tries to come off as emotionless, but his personality still shines through his blank exterior. He’s cooked a lot before, but it wasn’t until after the war he’s tried to make it an actual hobby, because he never really had much of those before.

Trill - never ask a fairy her age - she/her - Cadence of Hyrule: She’s CoH!Link’s best friend and an assist fairy. She used to assist him with speaking-and the whole Assist Mode in the actual game-but since he doesn’t need that anymore, she chooses to help Calli with speaking instead.

Cadence - 16 - he/him - Cadence of Hyrule: He’s a bit quiet, but can talk on his own when needed. He can’t be killed-although he can die of old age-and will not let anyone know of this fact. For now. He also has a large hoard of diamonds on hand, and will jump at the opportunity to get more.

Kori - 15.25 - he/him - The CD-i games: Can not stand reflective surfaces for a multitude of reasons, only goes near bodies of water if he knows it’s safe. Does not tell anybody about this. He’s very cheerful and friendly, and has picked out most of the other Links’ nicknames by himself. His winged helm hides his eyes, which look quite uncanny to those that see them.

Cart - 15.23 - he/him - The Zelda Cartoon: Not as bad as in the actual cartoon. Somewhat lazy when it comes to anything other than heroing, flirting with Zelda, and napping. Complains a lot. Just generally insufferable, as teens kinda are. The universe will not allow him to swear, even though he really wants to. Somehow best friends Kori.

King Gustaf - 46 give or take a few years - he/him - The Minish Cap: There’s this fan theory that King Gustaf was actually the Hero of Men in the MC, which is what I’m going with for Uncanon Fates. He’s very wise, but also the most excited about this whole thing. It’s been decades since he’s done anything adventurous. He loves making new friends. He’s one of the first kings of Hyrule, and also holds the Light Force, also known as the Triforce of Wisdom.

Triforce of Wisdom - as old as the land itself i guess - does not care is literally a magical prism - Cartoon Zelda+CD-i games(at least the first two): Yeah I’m making the triforce talk. Less rhyming but still gives out vague advice. Currently in the king’s possession. Kori and Cart flock to him like birds.

Linkku - around 19 mentally, he’s basically a demigod he can live for a long time - they/he - Ancient Hero from TotK: Can’t say much about what he does in the comic, but I can tell you a bit of the made up backstory I made up. They’re Rauru and Sonia’s son and are being raised by a surviving Zonai and a Gerudo. Lesbians. His adventure mainly consisted of trying better the relationships between the Hylians and the Gerudo and fighting off what currently remained of Ganon’s evil magic.

After the first two-three-maybe even four if I feel like the characters aren’t fleshed out enough-chapters are done, they’ll be meeting some of the Hyrule Warriors cast-HW Link and Linkle will be the only Links there-who will be first briefly introduced in an interlude, and then the 3 Links I mentioned before at the start will come in and make you feel things. Impa, Zelda, and another character will also be there. That’s it for now, thanks for the ask.

So here’s some quick sketches of my new DC Comics AU story called “The She-Wolf of Gotham” that I drew out just recently!!

So yeah, essentially Luna Lopez is a 16 year old Santa Priscan American nerdy teenager from New York City as she and her criminal psychologist mother, Dr. Rosetta “Rosie” Lopez, are currently moving to Gotham City, NJ as apparently her mother had gotten herself a new job as a leading psychologist in the notorious Arkham Asylum as they both soon move into Rosetta’s old neighborhood which happens to be Gotham City’s lesser-known Santa Priscan cliffside neighborhood called “Las Rocas” (a.k.a. “The Rocks”) which just happens to be right across from Slaughter Swamp (a.k.a. “The Birthplace of Solomon Grundy”).

But Luna Lopez herself soon finds herself being relentlessly bullied by most of the girls in their new private school that her mother paid an hefty amount of money to get her into (mainly because of her chubby figure, nerdy hobbies & even some racism due to her Santa Priscan heritage) as she even had to deal with being horrifically pranked by the popular girls in her school Stephen King style during her time at the homecoming dance that she was invited to as while she was desperately trying to call for a ride home while walking through Gotham’s Robinson Park, she soon gets attacked/mauled nearly to death by one of Batman’s lesser-known villains known simply as “The Werewolf” (a.k.a. “The Disgraced Olympic Decathlon Runner Anthony Lupus”) who had just recently broke out of Arkham Asylum a few hours earlier.

So shortly afterwards, Luna managed to save herself just in time as she used her new revolver that her mother had given to her earlier for self-defense as she soon shot down The Werewolf dead 7 times in the chest to save herself as the GCDP soon arrived on the scene to carry her off to the nearest hospital where while recovering from her injuries in her hospital room on a particularly starry night, she soon rapidly transformed & quite literally ���Wolf-Out” into Gotham’s newest monstrous antihero “The She-Wolf of Gotham”!!

When I get asks like yours these days, I just think to myself, I have less than 15 years to wait until the British public has complete disdain for King William V. Red 1 Stickfighter: (He, Paw, Mew/Meow/Purr/Purrs/Purrself - 19) Mew is a silly goofy goober. Red is energetic, extroverted, reckless, kindhearted, and can get carried away easily. Mew is small but strong. Mew goes to the Willcraft Monster School on Saturdays and is still friends with Yellow Team. Mew hates being called a baby or cute. Mew’s the second youngest. Yellow 1 Stickfighter: (They - 19) They are nicknamed "Yelly" by Blue. They are calm most of the time. They are very curious to the point where it is extremely dangerous. They are "twins" with Blue (created on the same day). [Real (?) Creationday: March 30]

Purple Blossom Myosotis Monarch: (She, Flo/Wer, +neos - 22) She owns a kitty she named Petal (my sticksona). When King adopted her, she kept her old last name (Orchid) and now also has her new last name from King (Monarch), giving her two last names. [Fake Birthday: February 29]

King Monarch: (He - 55) He came from a game of a kingdom and he was the king. He went to the Outernet after his game was gone. This is inspired by him wearing a crown while Princess wore the silly glasses in The King episode. I interpreted this of him remembering his king days. He was good at being a tough and organized ruler when he became a king again in Minecraft because of past experience. [Fake Birthday: August 19]

Princess Monarch: (He/She 17/24) His soul is attached to Minecraft ever since the incident. In fact, he was the one who drew the chalk animations when his dad (King) got sucked into the white void. When the chalk drawing showed King hitting Princess, it is because destroying Minecraft was destroying Princess, since she and Minecraft are now the same thing. Gold is unable to see outside of Minecraft, so he can't visit King when he is not in the game. His ability to know when and which players join the game and in which server is useful, because then he always knows when King and/or CG is in the game. [Fake Birthday: April 5]

Queen Monarch: (She - 35/48) She was the queen in a game while King was the king. She is trying to find her daughter, Princess, but she doesn’t know where he went ever since the “incident” happened. [Fake Birthday: June 8]

Royal Blue Myosotis: (He - 45) He wanted to train Purple to protect herself after The Disintegration, but he went too far. [Fake Creationday: May 1]

Sakura Orchid Myosotis: (She - 34/44) The animator who created her family’s animation made multiple animations. One of the animations shows Sakura’s life with her parents and sister. Sakura reincarnated a few years after her death, but into what? You will have to find out in my comics (that I haven’t made yet). [Fake Birthday: February 22]

The Chosen One Becker: (He/Moon) He is extremely introverted. He is not always serious and has a silly side to him (as seen in the episode "Wanted"). Moon doesn’t know how to behave in society and moon is not exactly what you would think of a stick called "The Chosen One.” He prefers just being called “Chosen” or “Cho” than his full name or his acronym (TCO). The Dark Lord Becker: (She/Sun) Prefers being called her full name. Only Chosen gets to shorten her name to Dark, Dark Lord, or Darky. She doesn’t like anybody calling her by her acronym, TDL, not even Chosen. She is extremely destructive and violent, but she has a heart (although it’s quite small). She is very extroverted. Victim/Vic/Ghost: (Xe/Voi - Agender - 16/34) Xe is the original victim from AvA1. The clones revived, but Ghost stayed dead. Xe is friends with Mitsi, Sakura, and The Dark Lord. Xe doesn’t know TSC and TCO are their clones. Xe figured out that two clones revived into Freedom and Skye, so xe watches them two sometimes. [Real Creationday: June 3 - Same with the clones]

Victim Skye Rocket Smith: (Xe/Cloud - 34) Xe hates being called "Victim" because of trauma. Xe changed xer name to Skye, because it means Cloudy, Mist, or Winged. It matches xem, because xe fell from the sky and when they arrived it was cloudy and misty. Winged could also tie back to xem having little angel wings when emotional. Also the sky is blue and xe like that color. And xer color is dark gray, which is like a dark cloudy sky. [Real Creationday: June 3]

Mitsi Smith: (Xe/She - Female - 20/33) Xe is a good communicator, extroverted, caring, and loves to dance. She dislikes Skye for what xe has become. [Real Creationday: March 15]

The piglets are Rosie, Reuben Jr, and Rebecca. For now, they are just pigs. (Random Fun Fact: All Minecraft animal mobs are females! Or at least the same gender.)

Musical Chicken: It is the Musical Chicken!! It also deserves a separate info thing that you can’t change my mind about!! It is the chicken from Note Block Concert. It kept its potion of musicality effects forever. Idk how it just did.

Freedom Guy: (He/She - 34) The stick who made the website about ending stick slavery in AvA3.

The One: (She - Female - 15) AvG thumbnail stick. She was created by an AvA fan who really liked The Chosen One, so they created an OC based off moon. She was uploaded to DeviantArt, sending her to the Outernet.

The [Selected]: (They - Nonbinary - 13) Made by the same person who made The One. The person was obsessed with Undertale and Deltarune at the time, so they a stick OC based off of them. They were uploaded to DeviantArt, sending them to the Outernet.

Hey did you know there's a sequel to 2007 movie Enchanted (Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, etc.)? It came out in 2022 on Disney+. I didn't know about it at all! Have you seen it??

I don't remember how I found out about it, but yes. I discovered the film in January! It sucks it went to Disney+ instead of theaters, but, to be honest, as much as I loved seeing the main cast (minus the actress who played Morgan because she didn't reprise her role) reunite, I was a bit disappointed in it. Here comes an essay... 🙂 In bullet point format.

It was not as charming, funny, magical, endearing, and cute like the first film.

*Did the director and any of the screenplay writers even (re)watch Enchanted? So many details (some of which were important) were left out!*

Edward was still Edward, but he was way more (comically) conceited and naïve in the first film.

Where was Nathaniel? I was actually curious to know what he was up to. Not even a single mention about him.

The storyline wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.

There was not enough Queen Nancy and Edward.

Why did Nancy decide to leave New York for Andalasia, a fictional place, anyways? What about Nancy Tremaine Studios? I have so many questions.

Nancy lost everything I loved about her in the first film. She wasn't hot. She felt like the female version of Edward, and I mean that in a bad way.

The writers could have done so many things with Morgan in terms of making her an interesting character, but they did nothing. No character growth whatsoever. Give the girl something to be passionate about or a hobby! Art, sports, F A S H I O N..., writing poems, etc. No goals or dreams either. I know Robert said she was shy and not good at making friends, but there was a lot of potential to change that for Morgan. People (can) change overtime - personality, taste in fashion, hobbies, etc.!

*no offense to the actress, but she did not look like a sophomore in high school. I know casting 20-something year-olds for teenagers is nothing new, but she did not pass off as a 16-year-old.*

The songs were not memorable. To be honest, I muted most of them. 😳

*In Enchanted, it was "True Love's Kiss", “That’s How You Know”, and "Ever Ever After" (Idina was originally supposed to sing this and I will forever be mad about that)*

I feel that if this was released in theaters then there would've been more hype around the film and the songs would have got more attention.

Going back to Morgan, I know moving to a new school and town can be daunting, but the writers really did her personality dirty. They just ran with the teenager-hates-her-life-and-has-no-friends storyline and called it a day. Ha.. as if we haven’t seen that one before. You would especially think she'd be a little more lively after being around Giselle for more than five years.

What even made Morgan and Giselle grow apart?

This sequel was really giving low budget.

Good on Giselle and Robert for having a newborn, but I just wasn’t sold. I’m not sure how else to explain that.

The writers tried to sell us with a stepmother/stepdaughter storyline of some sort, but it did not work out for me. The storyline was weak and unclear. There was no emotion either.

Regarding the previous bullet point, there was so much potential to break the all-stepmothers-are-evil stereotype in Disney films, but it wasn’t seized. (Refer to this scene)

I wish we actually got to see Giselle act like a (step)mother towards Morgan. I'm not sure how that would've been handled.

Another character who didn't have good development was Giselle. I love that she always tries to be optimistic and has a bubbly personality, and I'm happy that she is still like that 10 years later; however, I wish we got to see New York's impact on her. In other words, it affected her personality and maybe even the way she talks. She's been living in "the real world" since 2007, so I imagine most all of the fairytale quirks would've been gone by 2022. Also, side note: 10 years later and she still doesn't know what sarcasm is?

*If the first movie canonically took place in 2007, then the sequel takes place in 2017. I feel this is important to note.*

With the countless technological advances between 2007-2017, I am stunned social media (Instagram if anything) was not mentioned! Not that it needed to be, but I'm just surprised.

Morgan tells Giselle out of anger that she is not her mother but instead just her stepmother, and so, as you can guess, this upsets Giselle and that's when things go downhill. The day before, Nancy and Edward give the one-year-old a magic wand. After the argument, Giselle breaks out into song and then wishes for a fairytale life, thus turning the suburbs of New York into a medieval fairytale.

*this is when New York could have become 2007!2D animated! Can you imagine how neat that would have been?? Everyone in that town would have been freaking out! 🤣*

Gifting a one-year-old a magic wand for her birthday present, really? That’s just so irresponsible and not smart. Come on now, Nancy, you're smarter than that.

I genuinely think that Edward’s cluelessness rubbed off on Nancy, and I find that concerning.

We really could have seen Giselle step up as a parental figure by expressing her anger to Morgan for going to New York by herself. (Remember that scene from Enchanted where Giselle expresses her anger for the first time?) #charactergrowth But did we see that? Nope. Robert carried that scene. The anger could have been acted out better by both Patrick and whatever the actress’s name is that played Morgan, though. They were way too chill. Well.. the actress that played Morgan was at least. It only got intense when Robert slightly raised his voice at Morgan.

What happened to Andalasia Fashions (1:29-1:50)?

I just like the idea of Giselle and Nancy bonding over their love for fashion and making clothes. It would have been a great ice breaker that leads into a friendship. BUT... seeing how the sequel played out, it sounds like Andalasia Fashions and Nancy Tremaine Studios are nonexistent. ☹️

Pip was adorable in the 2007 film! He couldn't talk in the "real world" because, realistically, animals don't talk, but in the sequel he can all of a sudden talk in the "real world".

The animation. What the hell was that? Why was it different from the 2007 animation? The 2007 animation was pretty.

@ the animators, Nancy has dark green eyes, not light blue. Ugh, the disrespect.

Spoiler Alert: Due to the wish, Andalasia will disappear (all of the magic get sucked out of Andalasia in order to turn the real world into a fairytale), which starts happening towards the end of the film. Edward stays back while Nancy goes to New York to help Giselle, and everyone sees through a waterfall Andalasia disappearing. The point is that we really could have seen Nancy screaming, crying, and panicking over the fact that her husband was going to “die”, thus giving Idina a chance to show off her ability to convey emotion through acting. Did we see that? Hahaha, NOOOO. Whoever told her to react the way Nancy reacted deserves to be slapped. Because.. what the hell was that kind of reaction? 😐

I like Maya Rudolph, but I wasn't here for her character's villain ...role... post-wish.

Memories are apparently the most powerful thing, not true love's first kiss. That being said, the whole subplot about Morgan revisiting her memories at some tree while Nancy was singing "Love Power" made no sense at all and did nothing to help carry the storyline (whatever that was).

Morgan and Tyson's storyline (or whatever you want to call it) was not cute. It was painfully forced and severely lacked emotion, and so predictable. I actually rolled my eyes once I immediately caught onto what was going on.

This sequel was a mess. I liked the new cast members, but I felt indifferent towards their characters. I was happy to see the main four reunite, but that's about it. I honestly can't point out anything good. Enchanted holds a special place in my heart. I love how ambitious and unique it was! A soon-to-be (Disney) princess was going to get married in the 2D fairytale word but got pushed down a well the day of her wedding before the ceremony by her soon-to-be-husband's stepmother disguised as an old hag that sent her to New York, which then became live action. That was so clever! My mind was blown when I saw it in theaters. Robert was witty and realistic, which is nothing new for a Disney character, but that type of character is a hit or miss. Thankfully, though, he was a hit. Also, it was 2007, and that character trope was not yet frowned upon. Patrick really sold the character and the lines! Not my 13-year-old self crushing on a 40-year-old. Luckily, he had Grey’s Anatomy airing at the time, so he was the perfect choice.

Now, everyone, let's not forget who portrayed his badass, intelligent, strong-willed, hot, don't-fuck-with-me fashion designer girlfriend that owned her own business...

rosie was born to prince george and princess marguerite of iconven, a sunny morning in july. her mother was a count’s daughter from france and her father’s brother was the king. a health condition prevented him from having an heir of his own. for this reason, a son was wanted. but her parents loved their daughter. rosie was educated by a governess. more children joined the family. in all, rosie had six siblings, two of which being twins. she loved art and fell in love with fashion. when rosie turned eighteen, her uncle found a suitable husband for her. from a young age, rosie was told she was required to keep her country happy. as much as she didn’t want to, she agreed to the marriage. she met duke sebastian wakefield (who was in his mid-fifties) before the match was announced to the public. only a few weeks afterwards, the duke died. alarmed, her uncle found another match for her. prince matthieu of neighboring country, vobuvaria. he was a year her senior, a much more appropriate match with better circumstances for all. she met her future husband at a ball. matthieu was shy, blushing every time he spoke to rosie. the wedding was a few weeks later, forcing rosie to say goodbye to her family and country. she started sobbing halfway through the vows. her uncle was humiliated and scolded her afterward. her mother warned her about the wedding night, how she must do her duty as the wife. however, nothing happened that night. her mother gently sat her down to give some advice. weeks later, rosie broke under all the pressure and “seduced” her husband.

rosie tries her best in her new kindom. it’s hard to be without her parents. only six months after the wedding, she learned her father was dead. matthieu, understanding the pain of loosing a loved one, was extremely supportive. the couple bounded during the time of mourning. after her father’s death, rosie found out she was pregnant. her uncle and husband’s family were pleased. however, the joy didn’t last long. she lost the baby. seeing her daughter under so much stress, she has her come home for a few months. the break was much needed. rosie came back as her old self. by the next year, rosie was pregnant. she was extremely concerned this time and refused to leave her bed, believing physical activity was what caused her to miscarry.it took lots of prying from midwives, doctors and her husband to get her out of bed. the pregnancy was very hard for rosie. after a traumatic delivery, the child is born healthy. a daughter, named elodie after matthieu’s late grandmother. rosie became a fashion icon. she adored bright, pastel colors, popularizing them. yellow fever spreads throughout the palace, infecting the royal family. rosie’s worst fear was losing another baby. she focused everything on making sure elodie got better. fortunately, mattheiu, rosie and elodie survive. however, his mother and her husband do not.

rose and mattheiu took the crown. she hated all the responsibility put on her shoulders. charity work was her main concern. rumors of rebellion sprang up, but other politicians and advisors assured them it was nothing. although matthieu admitted he was becoming suspicious of one of their advisors, Lord Eade who seemed to be making decisions that would only benefit him. matthieu talked to his advisors about it, though he was left in the dark. rosie tires to comfort her husband. she tries to avoid politics as much as she can, since she hates it. rosie gives birth to another girl. they call her lisette, after matthieu’s mother. rosie stressed over not having a son, but matthieu adored his daughters. there was time to have an heir. an uprising began. rosie remained calm and elegant to others. she threw a ball, inviting everyone who could dress for it. the people were angry at this. since the only people who could dress for it, were wealthy. rosie’s health struggled under all the stress. matthieu asked countless doctors to look after her. however, there was hardly anything they could do. when an angry mod broke into the palace, the royal family was put into hiding. rosie suffered another miscarriage. but she and matthieu kept hoping things will go back to the way they were.
