Bruh, can we talk about the fact that Ouroboros literally had some sort of mechanism that could flood and unflood the city with sand?

Like what? Why the fuck is that there? Was it placed after the Serpentine War to hide the city and make is "Lost"? Was it implemented during the war by the Serpentine for whatever reason? Or was it always in the city as a way to hide it if something ever happened and shit hit the fan?

Can we appreciate The Lost City of Ouroboros

For those who don’t know, (and I was in this boat until recently) Ouroboros is a real word that depicts a snake (sometimes dragon) biting its own tail.

And in the background, that is the symbol at the city.

Not to mention that it literally how they managed to trap the Great Devourer!

Who are pomegranate and yoshi??

Pomegranate and Yoshi are two other Movieverse Lloyds where they are on opposites sides of the city war.

Pomegranate's timline consists of Garmadon waging his conquest over Ninjago City and well before the SNF were born and forced the inhabitants to flee.

Some things different to this AU is the inclusion of

Avian Royalty via the Stormwalkers with King Ed(ward)

Jay being the prince and hybrid

^Ed is a Avian and Edna is a Faun

Cole is a groundfoot (human) that is Jay's personal guard

Rcho Zane is actually Dr. Julien's bio (Avian) son-

While Zane was separated near after birth/coming online and stuck in the ruins of Ninjago City and surviving with a rogue Android lead group (Cryptor, Mindroid, the Pixal sisters, Pixal, Dr. Borg, etc)

Pom/Lloyd was taken from Koko when he was a baby and ran away after finding out his mom died protecting the city.

He and Zane's group are trying to find a way past city lines to escape into the mountains where the Avians live.

Kai and Nya are a Human lead semi-kingdom that are trying to get Nya and Jay married to form an alliance.

But Jay is in love with Cole 😬

Yoshi's timline is somewhat happier, as Koko did not hide her own identity as Lady Iron Dragon from the city, and instead hid Lloyd's relation as Garmadon's son.

Some things different in this AU are:

Lloyd/Yoshi is best known as Prince Emerald Dragon, or Prince Dragon

The SNF is instead the Royal City Fleet and the parents of the Ninja are either very involved or had no clue their child is a soldier

Jay, Cole, and Zane's parents didn't know while Kai, Nya, and Lloyd's did

Lloyd is treated as the most popular kid at school but hates the attention and only goes on campus to retrieve/turn in assignments

At some point, all of Yoshi's team was killed by Garmadon. He's been traumatized by that point and disappeared from the city.

Like L'Oni, he fled to the jungle to get away from it all. He eventually came back, but he was mute by that point and he hasn't spoken a word in public since.

He only speaks to Zane's little brother, Echo, by this time and does most to all his conversations through text to speech.

Smt I love abt Ninjago is that in the merged realms/dr it doesn’t feel like Ninjago is just the “normal” place, yk you got aaallll these super cool fantasy races and then you got just human nothing else just human but Ninjago isn’t like that for two reasons. the first being being something I think they did on purpose by giving Ninjago a gimmick that being (and I quote from Sora) “their freaky ninja obsession” like how imperium is dictator sci fi city Ninjago is weird ninja obsessed city

the other reason being that Ninjago is the Florida man of the merged realms and you can’t convince me otherwise. Ninjago civilians are fucking crazy they lost all their fear of death and ability to give a shit after sons of garmadon. they see the apocalypses happen for 14th time and they’re outside playing ping pong and making bets on whose house is getting destroyed first while the paper boys are doing quadruple backflips of the road on to another road and handing out news papers on the way down. This is just Monday for them and the rest of the merged realms were not fucking ready and I love them for that

Villain Lloyd AU: the garmadons are not okay(lloyd disagrees)

My head is swimming with so many AU ideas. So that alternate ending of Crystalized where Garmadon actually dies and Lloyd gets lost to the madness and takes his throne as the ruler of Ninjago? Okay yeah, let's make that worse.

Lloyd goes insane after Garm dies. He had another chance with his father, and he blew it. The grief makes the Oni side of him heavily influence and take over his decisions, hence having him think "If Harumi can resurrect Garmadon, so can I" and goes mad trying to bring his father back, almost breaking ninjago city in the process..and it works.

Months or so pass when he manages to bring back Sensei Garmadon, and Garm is revived by a psychotic obsessed Lloyd who is now emperor.

and GARM IS HORRIFIED OF WHAT LLOYD HAS DONE while Lloyd is just happily giggling and clinging to him because he brought his dad back and wants to make up for lost father-son time. Garm's the only one who can stop Lloyd from violently murdering ppl and now Garm has to try and fix everything while dealing with a crazy emperor Lloyd.

What if I decided to share Kintsugi again because I went back and did a design for when they were a child? And also cause I've been figuring stuff out about them

Kintsugi (They/Them, Any) Born to a human mother and Oni father in one of the many small villages surrounding Ninjago City, Kintsugi may as well have been a pure-blooded Oni for all appearances. Their human side really only made itself known by greatly increasing the difficulty of shapeshifting: their body fighting against what should have been the inherent ability to change shape leaving behind the golden crack-like scars which would inspire their name.

Despite their difficulty with shapeshifting, they are much more comfortable with their human form than their natural state. They never had the opportunity to get to know their father, as the Oni was found dead under mysterious circumstances when Kintsugi was still young, so they ultimately feel much closer to the human half of their ancestry.

At a young age, Kintsugi and their mother moved to Ninjago City proper, where they met Mystake. The elderly tea shop owner would often help Kintsugi with mastering their shape changing, and in return Kintsugi would help out around the store. As time went on the two became closer and they began to see her as a sort of grandmotherly figure, considering her part of the family.

After the events of Hunted, Kintsugi took it upon themself to continue running Mystake’s shop, despite their grief. One day while moving new stock into the store, they found a girl aimlessly wandering the streets, clearly lost and fascinated by everything. Worried for her safety, they invited her into the shop.

From that point on, the girl would come by every day to ask about life in the city. It didn’t take long for her to declare they were best friends and start doing small jobs around the shop. Ada, as she had introduced herself, became a fixture of the neighborhood. It was an incident where she wound up very nearly destroyed that revealed she was actually a Nindroid, and led to Kintsugi telling her about being half Oni.

After the Oni invasion, they expected her to be scared of them and leave, but instead she continued to insist they were the best of friends. After that, the two moved in together to better keep an eye out for each other’s safety.

Other: -For some reason, Kintsugi most struggles to properly shapeshift their teeth. As a result, they learned not to show their teeth too much when emoting, for fear of their fangs startling people. They start to loosen up about this after Ada learns their true nature. -They tend to use their human form as a sort of “outfit”. Something that’s used during the day and when around people. Despite the human form being more comfortable, they revert to their true form when relaxing at home. -Doesn’t actually care for the taste of tea, so is never sure what to do when customers ask for recommendations. -Has no interest in relationships beyond the platonic. -Is a descendant of an Elemental Master of Chaos on their mother's side, but due to past events, the element has been removed from circulation and is no longer passed on.
