azalea loves her parents!!! DESPITE how much work she's left to deal with... she knows her parents are working so much because they want to keep their clothes shop open, (despite the decline of customers) so she doesn't blame them because she has a similar passion when it comes to her own lil shop... they have both been explorers in the past, and when they stopped doing that they still kept travelling around to know more about fashion found in different areas and cultures, but that was many years ago.. they have a lot of stories and knowledge from their trips, but due to them settling down in a pretty isolated place for many many years they have started to become a bit out of touch lmao

they took azalea's transition super well....her isolation from the world outside the forest caused her to worry about her feelings, since she'd never heard about pokémon transitioning before... however her parents were really good at reassuring her that people like her actually exist in the world! however they weren't able to memorize everything, so for a long while azalea didnt even know what trans people are called lmao

(her first trans friend made sure she knew though lol)

this is getting really long so i'll spare the details of each parent for when they have proper refs... but here's a little doodle of her mom, Flora :]

as for her dad, well...he gets to be a mystery for now because i have no drawings and no name for him lmao, i can at least say hes very serious and shy at the same time..

how you can help gaza right now. resources in thread.

people in gaza are still suffering. miserably. and you need to help them.

imagine being in a situation where your land gets bombed, you have no food, your family members are dying, your losing your loved ones, hospitals not being able to fix ur injurys.

that'd horrible, wouldnt it? terrifying even.

and everyone in gaza goes through that everyday. everyone is just trying to survive, always trying to find shelter and find food.

this isnt just happening to adults either, children too.

instead of children happily playing with their toys, maybe even friends and having a childhood, they instead should have to fear and die.

so you should help gaza in any way you can, please.

what you can do is:

take part in strikes

be visible: wear clothing, accesories of you being support of palestine

go to protests*

educate yourself please. education is so important in cases like this.

put posters up for awareness of the gaza genocide

make art for palestine, music or anything that helps gaza

boycott companies that support palestine. do not buy from companies that support israel*

listen to music artists from palestine. israel is also trying to destroy palestine culture

do not watch eurovision or the oscars. it was used as a distraction for bombing palestine

spread awareness, spread any news of palestine u have to other people, its extremely helpful.

What kind of future does your OC want to have? What would they do to make it real?

azalea really wants her own shop!! her own brand even... not just for the money to support things like her parents shop but because she wants explorer posts to offer more exciting team accessories to new explorers/rescuers! even though she wants to settle down somewhere eventually she really wants to start her journey by moving from different locations all over the world... maybe by hiring different places to set up a temporary shop in? ideally if the business goes well she can have multiple shops open in different towns, run by different people hired by her! eventually selling some items to other facilities like explorer posts... right now as she is in her story she already has a tiny shop, built by her dad and located near her house...... in a thick forest where very few mons live yeah the business isn't going super well... at least she doesn't have to pay for using the shop... she's way too nervous about leaving her home rn but she'll get out into the world eventually !!
