As someone who stalks the Avatar a03 page every day, I want my modern day high school au with Spider. Every modern day high school au is distinctly lacking him, where is my boy next door who is neglected by his foster parents being integrated slowly into the family he’s been friends with since he was little. Maybe they live in an area with fewer kids because it’s the only place with homes accessible for Jake so all the kids are super close and obsessed with Spider bc omg another kid to play with, only old people live here. And Jake and Neytiri always like pls stay for meals cause they aren’t sure anyone is feeding that kid, and he’s a stray cat they found and are trying to tempt back with food and pets.

A note to people who got into Gundam through G-Witch:

The Gundam fandom has an awful elitist problem and pretty much always has. Don’t let anyone put you down for your faves or your ships and ESPECIALLY for G-Witch’s amazing lesbian representation! This fandom has needed to mature for a long ass time.

I’ve seen almost every watchable Gundam property from 0079 to IBO (IBO was the newest show when i started my journey through the franchise). Shows, movies, OVAs, ONAs, specials, you name it. I can guarantee you that even before they were being openly chuds, if you said “my favorite Gundam show is ____”, no matter what show it was, you’d still have people saying you have shit taste.

TL;DR- you are absolutely in the right for loving G-Witch, this fandom just kinda fucking sucks in some ways. This isn’t new, sadly, but I’m optimistic that y’all new fans are starting a new age!

There *should* be a refuge point for people who cannot use stairs, it's usually close to the stairs and as safe as possible. This is the first place emergency services will look for you and their priority will be to get you out, especially if someone is able to alert them you are there. I haven’t watched The Walking Dead in years but I just found out about this Daryl Dixon spinoff show and how everyone seems to think it’s just copying The Last of Us. While it does in fact sound similar to The Last of Us from the short synopsis I read, I do think it’s a stretch to call it “blatant plagiarism” considering there’s only one episode out so far. Time will tell I guess, but I’m surprised that not a lot of people are bringing up Telltale’s The Walking Dead game

Badass survivor with a dubious past/trauma takes it upon himself to look after an orphaned child which he later comes to see as his own? Child later becomes a badass in her own right? Sound familiar?

It’s just funny that TWD is just sitting on this beloved gem of a story that predates The Last of Us videogame by a whole year and that could’ve brought in the gamer audience to their franchise as well, but instead they decided to put their money on Daryl Dixon in France lol
