Secret || Sarah Cameron x Maybank!Reader
Tumblr media
Request: can u do a sarah one were the reader is a jj’s sister and kiaras best friend but she’s secretly dating sarah and then kiara and the pogues all find out and jj’s ok with it after understanding and u can do whatever with kie 😊
“God I could stay here forever,” You moan, digging your face into Sarah’s hair as the two of you cuddle on her large bed.
“I wish you never had to leave,” She agrees. You two had been dating for four months now and while neither of you were ashamed of the other you’d mutually agreed to keep it quiet for awhile.
“JJ gets home in an hour and he’s expecting me to be home. I can’t have Kiara cover for me again, she’s starting to get suspicious.” You loved your brother dearly but he was protective, especially since he’d practically been serving as your father figure for years. Your best friend Kiara had been covering for you a lot since you and Sarah had gotten together but she was starting to ask questions and you were afraid of how she would react if she knew the truth. Her and Sarah didn’t have the best relationship.
“Yeah Rafe will be home from golfing soon and if he spots you it’ll be hell on earth. No offense.” She apologizes at the end and you shrug. You didn’t blame her for her brother’s hatred for the pogues, especially your own brother.
“None taken. If any of my friends knew where I was right now they’d probably call me a kook sympathizer. Or a helpless victim,” You smirk while she slaps your shoulder playfully.
“They wouldn’t call you a victim if they heard how you were moaning my name twenty minutes ago.”
“No they’d just think I’d been brainwashed. The big bad Sarah Cameron got into my head and made me fall in love with her, oh no, the world is going to end.”
“Hey I’ll admit to that one. Now I get you all to myself,” She leans in and plants a sweet watermelon flavored kiss on your lips.
“I could do that all day,” You smile when you pull away but then frown, “But unfortunately I have to leave.”
“So soon?” She pouts as you stand up and start gathering your things.
“Babe believe me. If I didn’t have to go I wouldn’t be. I’ll be back at 9AM on Saturday, JJ’s working another double.” You lean down and give her another kiss and when you pull away she reaches over on her dresser to grab the expensive diamond bracelet that she always wore. It was practically pocket change to her but you’d have to save up for at least a year to be able to afford it.
“Will you wear it?” She asks, pleading up at you with her big brown eyes that you could never resist.
“I wouldn’t want to loose it,” You reply but sigh when she pouts, “If I loose this it’s on you.” You warn, slipping the expensive jewelry over your wrist.
She shrugs, “My dad gave it to me to make up for marrying Rose back before I was able to tolerate her. Do you have any idea how many ‘makeup gifts he’s gotten me?”
“I have an idea. I have nothing to give you of mine though.”
“Oh don’t worry. I already took my little souvenir,” She winks as she lifts up her shirt to reveal your lacy red bra covering her chest.
“Sarah Cameron you sneaky little shit,” You smirk as she laughs and pulls her shirt back down.
“I guess you’ll have to leave the girls out.”
“Yeah well me and the girls need to leave. I guess I’ll just have to take this.” You grab one of her sweatshirts off the chair next to her dresser and pull it over your head.
“Oh so my plan failed. Well if you insist. Text me later?” You nod and the two of you kiss one last time before you climb out her window and make the way towards your house.
Sometime along the way you get a text from Kie telling you everyone is meeting up at John B’s so you change your direction, walking towards the chateau. Eventually you start to get hot and, deciding that nobody is around to see your braless chest, pull off the hoodie and tie it around your waist.
When you receive another message stating that JJ is pissed and demanding to know where you are you start to speed up until you’re walking up the front steps of the house, completely forgetting to put the hoodie back on. Not that it matters, all the guys have seen you shirtless at some point anyway (it’s a long story).
You step inside the porch, immediately seeing your brother’s angry face staring back at you, “Where the hell have you been all day?”
“I- um-“ You look back at Kie to silently ask what excuse she told him. She mouths ‘sorry’ as JJ waves his hand in front or your face.
“Don’t look at her. Did you forget that I got off early today? I’ve been off work for hours Y/N. So again, where the hell have you- are you not wearing a bra? What the hell Y/N, were you out screwing someone?!” You push past him into the house.
“It’s none of your damn business where I was JJ. I’m here now aren’t I?” You pull the hoodie off your waist and toss it on the couch before sitting down and leaning back, closing your eyes.
“It is my business because I’m trying to keep you safe! It’s my responsibility as your older brother to- Y/N what the fuck is this?” You open your eyes and they quickly widen as you see what JJ is holding in front of you.
Sarahs hoodie. You didn’t realize before that it was one of her old ones from when she played volleyball and mentally curse yourself as you read ‘Cameron’ on the back in big bold lettering.
“Are you macking Rafe Cameron?! You better not be!” He yells angrily as you stand up and yank the piece of clothing out of his hands.
“Hell no! Are you crazy?!” You yell back.
“Then why the hell do you have a sweatshirt that says Cameron on the back?! Where the hell did that bracelet come from?”
“Oh my god,” Kiara breathes, stepping forward to inspect the diamonds around your wrist, immediately recognizing them, “It’s not Rafe. It’s Sarah.”
“What?” JJ steps back. Kiara was the only person who knew you were bisexual.
“Are you macking Sarah?” Kiara asks.
“Kie-“
“Just tell me Y/N. Are you macking Sarah Cameron?”
“No- yes- it’s not like that. Me and Sarah are together. Like dating.” You finally admit, staring down at the ground.
A look of betrayal comes over her face and she steps back in shock. JJ’s eyes widen as he steps forward in her place. Even John B and Pope who’d been standing off to the side watching had looks of shock on their faces.
“You’re-? Why didn’t you tell me? How long?” Your brother asks.
“Bisexual...I wasn’t ready to tell anybody. Sarah and I have been together for four months.”
“Four months?! You’ve been dating a kook for four months and didn’t tell any of us?!” John B asks.
“Yeah what happened to no secrets between pogues?” Pope continues.
“Sarah Cameron? God Y/N, what were you thinking?! You’re not dating a kook you, you’re dating the god damn kook princess! The Camerons are the worst ones!” JJ yells.
“Well maybe if you all weren’t so judgemental I would’ve told you sooner!” You yell at them angrily. You weren’t about to let them hate on your girl because they had problems with kooks.
“Sarah is nothing like Rafe or any of the other kooks. She’s kind and caring and she doesn’t hate on people simply because of what side of the island they come from. God I’m ashamed of all of you. I thought you guys were better then this.” They all look down at the ground for a moment until JJ speaks up.
“Is she good to you? Are you happy?”
You nod, “Very. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”
He sighs, “Then I guess I have to accept it. You’re not a kid anymore. You’re old enough to make your own choices and if you want to be with Sarah Cameron then that’s your decision. As long as you’re happy I’m happy.” John B and Pope both nod in agreement. You smile and step forward to give your brother a hug before pulling back.
You turn towards Kie who’d been standing back, arms crossed over her chest, silent for the past few minutes. The look of betrayal hadn’t left her face and you could tell that she was not going to be easy to get on board.
“Kiara,” You say softly, stepping towards your best friend.
“I didn’t mean to. Trust me, do you think I’d really purposely go for her knowing that you two don’t get along? Of course not! Kie your my best friend, I’ll always take your feelings into consideration. I didn’t mean to fall in love with her. It just happened and now I don’t think I could live without her. Please don’t be angry, I can’t stand you being angry with me,” You plead.
“I’m not angry. It’s not your fault that you fell for her. I won’t pretend to like her but I’ll tolerate her for your sake. Just please be careful okay?” You smile and the two of you hug it out.
“Sarah Cameron, huh sis?” JJ smirks, “Wait, does that mean that we could’ve been checking out chicks together this whole time?”
“We have been, you just didn’t notice. Didn’t you ever question why most of the girls you hooked up with were always tired already?” You and the others laugh as his jaw drops, “Don’t worry bro, they’re all yours. I have a girl now and she’s pretty great.”
I’m currently on an 8 hour drive and this kept me busy for about 2 hours so thanks for requesting lol. I hope you like it! Reminder, requests are currently closed!

TW: Self h/a/rm, murder, gore, possession
~7k words
Jake Kelly and his little sister Tullia were the first to notice the oddity of the small town they moved into. Yes, while it did offer the schooling Jake Kelly and his sister needed, it also offered little to no social shade from the others in the community, just like other small towns the people here were tight-knit and tended to have a mob mentality if someone ruined their way of life. The two stayed to themselves for the most part, Kelly focusing on college and his job while his sister practiced her driving on the dirt roads. It was a break from the busy town the two grew up in, but Kelly had to admit he did miss his old life, though this would be a good change for the both of them.
“Hey,” Kelly nudged his little sister who was staring up at the house, “Get your boxes to your room, doofus, then we can look around the town.”
“I don’t like it here.” She huffed, crossing her arms, “I don’t like the gross buildings or the gross looking people, I want to go back home, Jake Kelly, I want to go home!”
Instead of fighting with his sister he kissed her forehead and walked inside alone. She’d been very clear that she didn’t want to move, that she hated this ‘small hick town’ and she didn’t want to make new friends all over again. He didn’t blame her, but they both knew it was for the best if they moved out of their old house. Too many painful memories for either of them to cope with. Plus they could be whoever they wanted to be in this town, no one knew them, which Kelly was relieved of.
Hours of packing later he was finally done with the bare bones of the house. They had their kitchen utensils, living room set and pictures all hung. Jake Kelly smiled softly at his work, it took almost half the day but he moved pretty fast and with the excitement of buying a new house it wasn’t too hard.
He walked to his sister's bedroom, knocking lightly on the door, “Everything unpacked?” He asked through the door, “Tuuuulliaaaaa, I’m aaaasssssking yoooou a queeeeestiooooon.”
He couldn’t help but grin at himself when he heard Tullia groan in annoyance, opening the door with a huff. She didn’t say anything, instead she pulled him into the room, sitting on her bed with a loud grunt. Her room was bare,no posters, mirrors or anything like her old room, it was an odd sight to see.
“Why aren’t you unpacked yet?” Kelly asked softly, sitting down beside his pouting sister, “It’s gonna be hard to move around these boxes y’know.”
“I’m not gonna unpack just to pack it all up again.” Tullia snapped, jerking her head to the other side, not looking at her brother as she spoke again, “It’s not fair. I want to go back home with mom and dad! Or at least be closer to the house… I miss them, I miss them and it’s not fair you don’t care so you just decide to move a gazillion miles away! It’s your stupid fault we’re here and not home!”
Her words stung Kelly. Of course he missed his parents dearly, but they were gone and nothing in his power could bring them back. It was his fault they were gone anyway, Tullia was right about that, all of this mess was his fault. God, if he had left a note or at least said goodbye before leaving then…
“Get your stuff unpacked, Tullia.” The words hung coldly over the two of them before Jake got up, “I’m not playing with you anymore about this.”
Dinner was takeout, Jake Kelly didn’t have the energy to cook and Tullia didn’t want to eat anything homemade, so they ordered pizza. It came an hour late, which was upsetting but nothing new in this town apparently. The pizza guy was surprised to see new people here, but he didn’t explain why, just told them to enjoy their food and left in a hurry. It was a silent dinner save for the background noise of the television, some news story about a murder. Tullia flipped the tv off with a sad sigh.
“Kelly,” She swallowed hard, rubbing her eyes before throwing herself onto her brother, wrapping her arms around him as she sobbed, “I’m sorry.. I didn’t mean to say that, I know-”
He shook his head, holding her tightly as he glanced to the side, watching a few butterflies and moths out of the window, “It’s okay. I know you didn’t want to move but it’s for the best.”
“Yeah...:”
The two stayed there for awhile, hugging and enjoying the other company. While they were close it was rare they had moments like this, so they tended to last longer than needed. Once they pulled away Kelly stood up, grabbing their plates and dumping them into the trash along with the now empty pizza box.
“You start school tomorrow and I start college,” Kelly called from the kitchen, “so I wont be here until three.”
Tullia nodded, her turn to look out the window, “Okay…”
“If you need anything just call me, okay?”
“Okay.”
Kelly sighed softly, it was clear she didn’t want to talk, so he told her goodnight and went to his bedroom. Shutting the door he flipped the lights on, looking around he couldn’t help but laugh softly. His new room looked so much like his older one, his bed pressed against one corner, a small shelf on the wall with a computer desk against the other wall. It was a small similarity but it was enough to make him feel at home. He didn’t want to think about anything, but of course, his thoughts were always wild unless dulled with a nice mix of Escitalopram (Lexapro) and Clonazepam (Klonopin). Dulled was a… Strong word choice, his thoughts were very much still active and nudging him closer towards an inevitable clift, but with the medication the clift is far away and the nudging is more of a gentle tap than a jerking pull.
Sighing softly he got out of bed, unzipped his backpack and took the two orange pill bottles out. No time better than any to sort and organize them into his blue pill sorter. Tullia bought it for him so he wouldn’t forget to take his medicine regularly, but the problem now was to remember to fill the damn thing. But that was his life, he’d take them for six strong weeks, forget one day and his life was flipped upside down for two weeks, then it was a rinse and repeat from there on out.
The college was surprisingly nice, the building was old, but it wasn’t falling apart like the others the boy had passed. Students crowded the stairwell, all coming or going to classes, each in their own little world of troubles as they stepped up or down. Kelly had finally reached class, with a few minutes to spare. He sat down next to a nice looking guy, they both smiled at each other before pulling out computers for the class.
As class started Kelly couldn’t help but steal a few glances from the boy next to him, he was just really nice looking. Sighing softly he typed out a few notes the teacher out down, the class was slow, but I suppose it was just the first day. The notes weren’t complicated yet he remembers nothing from that class.
“Hey,” A sharp nail tapped the side of Kellys shoulder, “I saw you kept looking at that guy, you like him or something?”
Jake Kelly shook his head, but his face was red hot. The girl laughed, normally he would’ve laughed along but this laugh made his stomach flip.
“Are you gay or something?” Another asked, leaning forward, “I’d love to have a gay friend, they’re really cool!”
Kelly quickly got up, stuffing his things into his bag as he slipped it onto his shoulder. Hurrying out of class he frowned, running a hand through his hair he suddenly felt sick to his stomach. Usually he’d ignore comments like that, he’d grown used to it, but something about this place made him feel suddenly rejected, as if he’d been punched in the gut. The feeling only grew once he had made it off campus.
“Hey!”
Jake Kelly turned, blinking in surprise as a small group of guys were surrounding him, “Can I help you?”
One scoffed, “My girlfriend said you were flirting with her in class, you wanna get beat up, bitch?”
Jake Kelly frowned as he narrowed his eyes, “Don’t touch me. And I wasn’t flirting with your chick, I wouldn’t want to anyway.”
“Why not? You calling her ugly?”\
The words came out before Kelly could even think, “If the shoe fits.”
That was the first time he’d been beaten up. Sure he’s been insulted and threatened, but never beaten up. This was a different pain, his whole body ached as he moved through the door. Tullia gasped when she saw him, grabbing his hand and leading him to the couch with a frown. She’d asked him millions of times what had happened but he told her not to worry, he was fine and of course, it’s no big deal. Leaning back he shut his eyes, listening to the tv as Tullia flipped the news channel on.
“We’re getting reports of a murderer on the loose, their victims are twenty-seven year old unidentified male with... “ The reporter trailed off as she stared at the camera, her eyes widening as a scream left her mouth, “No! Stop!” She cried before the channel was cut off.
Tullia and Kelly scared the same shocked look. How could they air something like that? Is that reporter okay? Oh god is she dead?
“Maybe I should start getting dinner ready…”
Tullia nodded, bringing her gazed back to the television before suddenly looking back at her brother, “Wait! I wanna tell you about my day.”
“Oh,” He smiled and slowly sat up, “Okay, what did you do?”
“Well in history we got on the subject of reincarnation and that had be thinking, when I die I’m going to come back as a beautiful butterfly!”
Kelly raised a brow as he smiled, “Oh? Why a butterfly?”
“Because they’re always so majestic to watch! Plus I really love them, mom loved them too, but she got scared every time they’d fly near her.”
“I remember that. She screamed once because one landed on her hand. I felt bad for laughing but it was pretty funny.”
“Yeah,” Tullia nodded, sharing the same smile with her brother before turning to look out the window, “Do you think mom and dad are in a better place…?”
The question made Kelly tense up, sure he was expecting it but it still shocked him. Honestly, he didn’t have an answer. He didn’t believe in a god that would let him see his own parents corpses, one that would let his parents, the kindest people in the world, be killed in such a savage way. He didn’t want a god that would let children die or do cruel things for some ‘greater plan’ bullshit. But he didn’t tell his sister that, he didn’t want her to think life was so negative that it’s not worth living, he didn’t want her thinking how he often thought.
“Yeah, I do.” He nodded, looking down at his cut up hands, “They’re… Man they’re in a better place now, they don’t have to worry about anything, all they have to do is sit back and relax with all their friends.”
Tullia sniffed softly, wiping her nose as she gave Kelly a sad smile, “That makes sense. I hope they’re having fun.”
“So do I.”
Jake Kelly scowled as he stomped his foot, one hand gripped on his door, “Mom it’s not fair! You let Tullia go out! Why can’t I go hang out with Dylan?”
“Because Tullias friend has a cop for a father, and she doesn’t tend to roam the streets at night,” She pointed out with a huff, “I don’t want you to get hurt, J.K., you know that.”
“Mom, I’ll be fine!” He yelled.
His father walked down the hall, the same scowl Kelly had on his face, “Don’t yell at your mother young man, she’s trying to look out for you. Tullia is safe where she is, besides she went out before we heard the news.”
“So it’s okay if she goes, yeah that seems fair.”
Slamming his door shut and locking it, Jake Kelly jumped onto his bed, laying on his back as he kicked his legs out. It wasn’t fair, he reasoned with himself, Tullia could go out and have so much fun while he was stuck in this stuffy house with parents asking him every five minutes if he was okay or… God he sounded like a child whining. His phone began to go off, the ringtone of Electric Avenue played.
Kelly answered the phone with a smile, “Hey Dylan, what’s up?”
The conversation seemed to skip like a record player, words jumbling into each other before Jake Kelly found himself outside, hitting the ground with a soft thud. Dusting himself he looked up, his window was propped open with a pillow, waiting for his return as he snuck out. The night was a blur, laughing and drinking with Dylan, he came home with a better attitude than the one he left with.
He pulled himself into the window, grunting softly as he tossed the pillow on the floor to his bed. He blinked, raising a brow at the open door, assuming his parents must’ve unlocked it and saw he was gone. He didn’t get any calls on his phone, maybe they were waiting to yell once he got home. Slowly stepping into the hall he blinked. All the lights were off, even the small hall light Tullia insisted they put there was off. He frowned, putting his hand against the wall as he felt for the light switch. Flipping it on was the worst mistake of his life.
The scene in front of his belonged in a horror movie, directed by either Steven King or some other fucked up asshole who had a fetish for blood and guts. His father, who slumped against his armchair had his arms practically torn open, like an animal had gotten loose in here. His mother, laying on the couch beside him had cuts everywhere, deep and shallow, large and small. He wanted to puke, but all he did was scream as he backed into the hallway, his legs giving out.
Jolting awake Jake Kelly quickly looked around the dark living room, wiping his brow off as he slowly got up. It was pitch black outside, the town obviously lacking in streetlights. That damn night always comes back to him, in his dreams or thoughts, it was his fault. His fault they were murdered, his fault. If he didn’t sneak out then his parents would be alive, Tullia would be happy with her old friends and… He couldn’t stop fucking up, could he? He couldn’t just think for a moment that maybe, maybe everything would be better if he just disappeared.
He hobbled into the bathroom, jerking the water on as his hands began to shake. His thoughts went a mile a minute, not resting, not letting him have peace. He hated it, he wanted it all to stop. He needed it all to stop before he hurt anyone else. Before he caused another horrible accident, maybe then he’ll finally get the hint and just…
He pulled out a small container from the cabinet, popping the lid off he dumped out a small razor blade into the palm of his hand. It was still new, still sharp and hopefully the last thing he’d need to use for his mind to finally shut up. He didn’t bother to take his clothes off, there wasn’t a point, really.
Getting into the hot water, he let out a low sigh, it felt nice to have the water working again. He ran his finger over a few bruises on his arm, frowning faintly. He had to run his big mouth back there, didn’t he? Without thinking he drew the blade down his arm, jerking slightly as he watched his blood slowly ooze out. It was a sick thought, but it looked cool to the man, but he then shook his head. He didn’t want it to be cool, he wanted peace of mind. He grabbed the blade with his other hand, shaking as he did the same with his first arm. Dropping the blade to the floor he slowly slid back into the tub, shutting his eyes as his whole body began to shake.
“Jake Kelly..!”
There was someone banging on the door.
His eyes slowly opened, his vision blurry.
“You’ve been using the water for hours! I have to get to school, now get out!” Tullia yelled, aggravated.
He coughed before looking down at the tub, red water was overflowing, getting the small mat by the counter wet. Quickly leaning forward he shut the water off. Getting to his feet was difficult, he felt weak and dizzy. The wet clothes only added weight. His feet sloshed water over the side, almost slipping he grabbed the door handle before hesitating.
“The sh-shower broke here.. Use yours.”
Tullia paused before sighing, “Mine only has cold water.”
“Just skip school, Tul…”
She almost laughed before trying to open the door, which Jake Kelly grunted and pushed his weight against it, “I’m serious, just go back to bed. I’ll call the school later.”
“Well… If you say so! Thanks!”
Letting out a sigh once her footsteps were gone, he turned back to the flooded bathroom.
“Shit.”
Two hours of mopping and drying, the bathroom was finally semi dry. Kelly put the small mat outside on the porch to dry. He then wrapped his arms up with plenty of bandages and medical tape to cover a whole person, but he didn’t want to take any risks.
A week of getting adjusted in this town was all it took, one week of bumping into strangers and one week of looking for a job. Tullia made a few friends from school, they would come over this weekend. Jake Kelly didn’t make any friends but got a job at the local supermarket, so he saw that as a good thing. He wasn’t looking for friends at the moment, he just needed something to distract him from school and keep him away from home. It seemed harsh but he felt as if something kept pushing him over and over and edge, he didn’t want to risk something he could avoid by not being near the cliff. The week was all he needed. His sister was making new friends, his job was working out well and his college classes seemed to be easier than he first thought. Everything was calm, everything was working out for the two siblings. It was finally peaceful.
“Hey,” His sister gently poked Kelly, “I’m going out with some friends, okay?”
Kelly nodded, looking away from his computer, “Okay. When will you be back?”
She shrugged before looking at the clock, “Dinner time, I promise.”
“Okay, be safe, don’t be stupid.”
Rolling her eyes she laughed softly, grabbing her coat and hurrying outside to her friends. Kelly could hear their laughter as they walked from the house, it was nice to know his sister was doing well.
Turning back to the computer he sighed, rubbing his face as he reread all of the instructions for his college worksheet. He changed his major three times since he started college. First it was music, then medical responder, and now he was on criminal psychology. Since he was a child psychology always seemed interesting, the whys and hows of people's mind, why did or didn’t do things, how they saw their world? It was always an interesting thought. But now since he was doing it, it was overwhelming.
He didn’t know what he wanted to do, what he was going to become after school. He didn’t even think he’d make it past sixteen so he’s been on autopilot, unsure what his next move would be. Every plan he had fell through his fingers, maybe he wasn’t so good at this. Truly he was scared. Scared he’d ruin his sisters life, scared that he didn’t do the right things in his life, scared he ruined it by doing nothing, by waiting and holding his breath. Watching every situation play out until he knew he wanted to put himself in there.
His mother said that was always a good quality, waiting and watching, but now with her gone he wasn’t sure if he’d ever been good at it. He waited, watched, never acted. He regretted so many things in his life; leaving the house that night, skipping the funeral, pulling him and Tullia out of their childhood home was the biggest regret. He wasn’t cut out to be responsible over someone. He had to be Tullia's parents, he needed to grow up faster, get a job faster, graduate school faster, find a house faster. Faster and faster and faster until Tullia could grow up happy, until she could go out on her own and become someone absolutely amazing.
Even six years after that accident they still weren’t over it. Kelly would hear Tullia pray at night, asking whoever was listening to bring her parents back, to make them be okay and for them to walk through her door and kiss her goodnight. Kelly found himself denying what had happened, tricking himself that it was just punishment for sneaking out. He believed it too, believed it right up to the point where he broke down and ran when he had to carry his parents casket. He ran and ran until he found himself far away from the funeral. Then he sobbed, sobbed until he could barely breathe.
Now twenty-two he could barely believe his parents were gone sometimes, but… He worried about Tullia, she was nine when they were murdered. Though he’s thankful she didn’t see the gore the killer left behind, even a few full grown cops couldn’t stomach the scene. Sixteen. Kelly was sixteen when his parents were murdered, the scene still fresh in his mind. He didn’t tell Tullia until she came home a few days later. But it wasn’t even home, it was a shelter. She was scared, she didn’t know where her parents were and why her brother seemed so angry. Kelly told her that they died, he never said how, he just said they died. She wailed, causing a few strangers to send her dirty glances in the small shelter home. Kelly stared them down as he held onto his sister, holding onto her and promising her it would be okay.
Jake Kelly taught her how to drive, how to cook traditional meals, how to clean, make her bed, how to do algebra and read novels properly, giving each character a different voice. He spent six odd years raising her, teaching her what her parents couldn’t. Kelly remembered when she had her period. God she was terrified, she thought she was dying, which made the teen laugh. But after sitting her down and telling her what was happening was natural, she seemed happier. He loaned her some of his products to help her. He was trying his best to raise her right, but it was hard. He was scared he was going to screw up and hurt her.
Now at fifteen Tullia seemed to not have a care in the world, the only thing on her mind was learning how to drive and which boy at this dumb town was cute and smart enough for her. Jake Kelly thought that was pretty funny, but he never got in her way, sometimes even encouraging her to speed down the roads and yell out of the windows. That's how they would bond, speeding down the dirt road and screaming the lyrics to some band Tullia didn’t know.
Jake Kelly sighed, rubbing his neck he got up, heading into the kitchen to prepare dinner. It wasn’t much, an Irish dinner, in respect to his parents. They were both full blooded Irish people, but somehow Jake Kelly never got their red hair, only brown eyes and even browner hair. It always made his parents laugh, even joking that they must’ve picked up the wrong child. Then when Tullia came out, brown hair and brown eyes, his parents didn’t joke. Genetics, he remembered, are really weird. They don’t always work the way you think.
Tullia hadn’t returned home at 6:00, exactly at dinner time.. Kelly had called her in for dinner, assuming she was outside playing with the other kids. Around 6:15 he had set the dinner table, putting the plates out for the two of them. It wasn’t odd that she wasn’t in yet, she did start making new friends, maybe she was eating at their houses and forgot to tell her older brother? Kelly frowned, his stomach churning as he looked over at his sister's spot, he knew she was safe, he knew… But something didn’t set right to him, he felt a tug at his heart, tugging that only Tullia could manage, only Tulia could make him so worked up over something so simple as forgetting to text him she’d be home late.
‘Tullia… Where are you?’ Sent at 6:17pm
‘I made boxty for dinner’ Sent at 6:20pm
‘Yes, I am aware that boxty is usually for breakfast but I thought I’d do something nice since I’ve been really busy lately. I hope you’re not upset with me.’ Sent at 6:30pm
None of the messages have been read, none of them had a reaction on Tullias part. Another tug sent him heading to his sisters still unpacked room, avoiding a few stacked boxes he began to search around, making sure she didn’t just up and leave, or at least left a note. A soft ding tore his attention from her vanity to her bed, he pulled off the soft pink pillows and frowned deeply. She left her phone. She never does that. Maybe the other children had their phones? His gut feeling told him otherwise as put the device back where it belonged.
“Damnit Tullia…” He muttered underneath his breath, shaking his head as he exited the bedroom, “You can’t just disappear like this, it’s not cool.”
Grabbing his coat from the small hook on the kitchen door he slipped it on, zipping up the coat with a sigh. The sun had gone down quite a bit, it would be smart to grab the flashlight. Just in case. Slipping the lights strap on his wrist, he headed out of the door and into the cold.
He tried knocking on the neighbors doors, windows and gates, but nobody answered. This really is a ghost town after dinner, he thought, almost laughing to himself if the circumstances were different.
“Tullia!” He yelled, flipping the flashlight on as his feet touched the edge of the woods, he warned his sister to stay away from there, he warned her, but she was stubborn and naturally curious, “Tullia are you in there?”
“I’m here!” She screamed back, panic was obvious in her voiced, “They’re gonna kill--”
Jake Kellys heart thumped hard in his chest. He didn’t think, didn’t have time to think as he bolted into the woods, weaving and dodging the branches thank hung low like disfigured limbs. His surroundings blurred together as he ran, god he didn’t know where he was going but his feet couldn’t stop moving, he couldn’t stop. A shriek caused him to stumble, falling to the dirt and groaning.
His head was spinning, “Tullia!” He called, only being met with silence, “Tullia! Tullia fucking answer me!”
Now normally he’d never curse at his little sister, but this was different. She could be dead, or hurt or something horrible could've happened to her and it would be all because of Jake Kelly. It was all his fault. Moving here. Getting her to make new friends. What if those new friends were hurting her? Getting to his feet he quickly looked around, unsure what direction he came from, or where the scream came from. God he was hopeless, but he couldn’t give up. He wouldn’t allow himself to give up, not again, not on Tullia.
“You!” He hurried towards a man dressed in formal black, “Have you seen a little girl, my sister she-”
Before he could get the sentence out the man turned, running into the thick forest with animal speed. Kelly chased behind him, the light shining in every direction, causing some birds to squawk angrily before flying off. His heart felt like it was about to burst, pumping and beating rapidly as he continued to follow the masked man deeper into the forest until he saw where he was headed. It was a gathering of sorts, different people dressed in the same outfit as the man, all wearing blank white masks as they chanted something.
Jake Kelly slowed his pace, more astound than anything. God this looked like a scene from a cult movie, the symbols on the old trees, the chanting, all it needed was a sacrifice. His stomach dropped as he spotted Tullia laying on the ground, her face covered with a white bag. His knuckles turned white was he made his hands into fist, despite every bone in his body to think of a good plan he raced to his little sister. Falling down on his knees he swooped his arms under her, picking her up and cradling her.
“Nng…” Tullia groaned, “Jake…?”
“Shh, I’m getting you out, okay?” He promised.
Getting to his feet he turned to the others, their chanting suddenly stopped as they stared back through their masks. They didn’t move to attack, or to stop Kelly. They stood there, stiff and still like strange statues.
One finally spoke up, “Put the child back, it is for The Dark Man.”
Their voice, among many other things, sent shivers down the man's spine, how could someone have such a detached voice? No emotion, no anything. Just empty words.
“What?” He blinked, slowly pulling the bag off of his sisters face, relieved she didn’t suffer any physical harm there, “No.”
“They’re batshit insane,” Tullia whispered, tightening her grip around her brother's neck, “They keep talking about some tall dude, they wanna sacrifice me, Jake..!”
Her tears made Jake Kellys heart break in two. He loved his sister oh so much, why would anyone hurt her?
“Give it back and we’ll ask Him to kill it swiftly.”
“Stop saying ‘it’!” He screamed, “She’s my sister, not some fucking sacrifice for you!”
“Fine. You get one minute to talk with it before we kill the two of you for Him.”
Kelly’s eyes widened as he stepped away from the others, putting his sister down he rested his hand on her shoulders. Now, he didn’t have any sage advice for her, no wise words that will surely get them out of here, but what he did and what he always will have, was a plan. A plan that seemed flawless in his mind.
“Tullia, listen to me,” He whispered, leaning in close to her so the others couldn’t hear, “You’re going to run as fast as you can, no matter what, okay? Don’t turn back, keep running till you get to the house. Get your keys, and your cellphone, run out of the house and drive away in the truck, it doesn’t matter where you go just get far away from here, okay?”
“No.. No, I don’t want to leave you! What if they-“
“Shh,” Jake Kelly kissed her forehead, wrapping his arms tightly around her as he shook his head, “it’ll work out. Just make sure you’re safe, I will find you.”
“Promise,” Her voice shook as tears gathered in her eyes, “Promise me you’ll come back.”
“I promise.”
That seemed to satisfy the girl as she took off running, making the others scream turning at the boy with their masks removed. He noticed the town was there, god the whole town was part of this batshit crazy shit? What the hell. Even the elderly like Gerald, who seemed to be a nice guy at first but now… This whole town was flipped upside down this night.
“You’ll be a fine offering for Him,” Gerald said, brandishing a large hunting knife, “You should’ve stayed home, little boy.”
Jake Kelly scowled as he balled his fists, staring at the crowd of townspeople. He lacked strength, that was already proven weeks ago, but he could think circles around these idiots. He knew he needed a plan, a fast one, but his mind was only filled with questions. He could stall, no one had followed his sister, so he could hold out, let her escape and then think of a solution for himself. He fell flat. He couldn’t think of a damn thing.
“You’re all batshit insane,” He scoffed, “the police are gonna find you.”
“Like they found your parents?” One spoke up.
Another bellowed a horrible laugh, “We know you, Jake Kelly. We know your family.”
“Your friends,” Said Gerald, “and that little accident you pulled on yourself.”
He instinctively pulled his arms to his chest, they burned at the mere mention of that incident.
“You’re weak,” They spoke at once, the crowds voices chanting together as Kellys ears rang, “You are a failure. You can’t protect yourself. You can’t protect Tullia. He’s always watching you, Kelly.”
“Shut up!” He shrieked, covering his ears with his hands, nails digging into his head, “Shut up! All of you! You’re all so fucking annoying!”
Silence fell over the crowd, their faces, their eyes staring holes into Kelly's skin. They didn’t speak for some odd time, letting the quiet seap over the man.
“He won’t be here,” One whispered, “we need a backup plan. Tie him down and I’ll get the book.”
The others nodded, watching as the other ran towards a small set up, grabbing an old leathery book with a grin. The others broke off from the group, surrounding Kelly as they yelled to him, words he couldn’t make out. He was stuck in the sea of crazy people. Suddenly he had an idea, it wasn’t a good one, but it was an idea.
“Stop! I’ll let you tie me up,” He screamed to the, the shouting stopped. “Tie me up.’
Holding out his hands he shut his eyes, ropes scraped against his skin, tightening around his body before he was knocked to the ground. His breath left his lungs as they dragged him towards the one reading from the old book. His heart beated hard in his chest, he tried his best to calm down to little avail.
“Don’t be scared,” One whispered to him, “you’ll be brand new once you wake up.”
“What? What do you-”
The hunting knife came down onto Jake Kelly's chest, the blade cutting him open with little effort. It didn’t seem natural, it wasn’t natural. The blade cutting through his skin like butter and a war knife. His vision began to blur as he heard the crowd chant strange words. Sure, it didn’t look like the plan was working to the outsiders, but it was for him. He didn’t plan on leaving the forest alive, only for Tullia to. He knew she was safe by now, so he didn’t fight, the struggling leaving his body as his last breath went out for Tullia. Praying she’d escape and never look back.
The fluttering of the butterflies' wings sturred the man awake. The butterfly paid no mind to him as it crawled over his face, slowly marching onward to his fingers. The wings seemed to twitch with the man's nose, its beautiful translucent wings flapped, raising itself into the sky as he slowly, very slowly sat up. His eyes adjusted to the dim light, looking down he blinked. The blue butterfly looked back at him, as if asking what he was planning to do. He didn’t have an answer.
He must’ve dreamed that up, he thought, getting out of his bed with a groan. His body ached, feeling heavy and stiff as he shuffled to the bathroom. Flipping on the light he gasped, taking himself in as he stared at his reflection.
The most noticeable difference was the large gash on his chest. He put one finger over it, the blood semi-wet as the wound was open, he lightly poked it, wincing in quick response.. Looking back in the mirror he leaned in, pulling his hand from his chest to his bloody face. He pulled on his cheek, his right eye completely white. His mouth was bloody as well as his nose, gore between his teeth as he licked his canine tooth, it was sharper than normal. Longer.
Normally, he would’ve been horrified as his mind filled with clips of last night. His teeth in their throat, ripping the skin away from their body, eating it as they screamed with horror. It’s what they deserved. He remembered tearing their faces off, parts of it at least as he screamed with rage. Rage he didn’t know he had. Rage he didn’t know he could ever possess. Normally he would be horrified, but instead he stripped his clothes off, got into the shower and let the cold water run down his body.
He stared at the white tiles on the wall, lifting his hand to trial his finger down one. He didn’t feel bad, but he felt something. Something in his stomach that told him what he did was evil. Common sense, most likely. Ignoring it he let out a laugh. He couldn’t stop laughing, turning into a high pitched shriek, his laughter bouncing off the walls as he grabbed his face, digging his dirty nails into his skin. His laughter died down into a quiet sob, almost being drowned out by the water hitting the tiles. Almost.
Getting out of the tub he grabbed a towel, drying himself off and tossing it into the hamper. He walked to his bedroom, shaking the water from his hair as he slammed the door shut.
What happened last night was real, he concluded, I’m a monster. No, another part of him shut that thought down, they hurt you and you hurt them worse, you did good. You hurt them and now they won't hurt you. But, what I did was horrible, I literally ate someone's face! So? There’s worse people out there. Rapists and child killers, you’re not like them, you’re better than that. You got revenge, don’t you feel better? Yeah, I do. See, it’s not that bad. Stop worrying and start planning, the cops will be here, won't they?
That thought got him moving, he grabbed his school back, emptied it, and began shoving things into it. His computer, underwear, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, socks, shirts and sweatpants. He paused, looking down, unsure if he needed these things at all. There were no cops in sight, no one called them, he got rid of the whole town! Why did he have to pack up and leave? This was his home! He paid for it!
Tullia. She’s out there, still running. I need to find her and keep her safe.
Slinging the bag over his shoulder he ran out of the house, grabbing his phone off of the kitchen table along with a portable charger, he fled the house on foot. At least until he broke into his neighbors pickup truck and drove out of the town.
He felt free, as if nothing could hold him back anymore, he never felt like this before. God it was so good. He didn’t have to worry about anything anymore, he just needed to find Tullia, explain what happened and then they’d both be free to do whatever they’d like. No more rules, no more people staring and judging them. No more. No more. No more anything, that thought was so thrilling.
“Now what?” Another voice asked, causing Jake Kelly to jump and look around the truck, “I’m starving, let's get a bite to eat.”
His stomach growled as he nodded, pulling over to a small convenience store. Parking the truck he grabbed his phone, opening the case to pull out his debit card, sighing softly. He couldn’t remember if he refilled it or not, all well, he’ll pay off the fines later. Getting out of the truck, he shut the door and headed inside.
Walking down the isles of snack foods, beer and some phone chargers, nothing seemed to interest him. His stomach growled louder as he scowled, becoming impatient as he grabbed a handful of chicken wraps and dropped them onto the counter. He glared at the cashier who snickered softly.
“Someone’s hungry,” She said, smiling softly as she scanned his food, “That’ll be fifteen-twenty, dear.”
He licked his teeth as he watched her. She wasn’t large, but she did have a lot of meat on her bones. Her skin seeed soft, easy to bite into as he leaped over the counter, slamming the girl down onto the ground.
“Hey! Help- Mmmph!!”
Covering her mouth Jake Kelly laughed, slamming her head back onto the hard ground. He sunk his teeth into her neck, blood trickling down his chin as he swallowed. He felt as if he was starving, he couldn’t even chew, only focused on getting it into his body. He dug his nails into the girl's eyes, her screaming sending a jolt up Kellys spine. He popped one eye out of her socket, chuckling softly as he took a bite from her plump cheek. She tasted nice, she obviously ate well. He licked his lips, looking down at the cashier with a smirk, his teeth ripping her throat open in one quick movement. Gurgling and then falling silent, her blood pooled around her, getting onto his face and clothing.
Getting off of the woman he hopped back over the counter, grabbing a few packs of gum and a lottery ticket for the hell of it. He always had bad luck. He turned, sprinting out of the store and jumping into his car with a howl. Peeling out of the lot and speeding down the old road was the best part of his get away.
Now with a full stomach, he was in a much better mood, blaring some pop-rock song on the radio and singing along despite not knowing the lyrics. He felt like a brand new person, someone who wouldn’t sit and wait, not anymore. He didn’t want to plan ahead, he wanted to just go and run, attack and think later. The strange voice in his head laughed along, deep and strange, he didn’t bother it, laughing along as he wiped his chin. Running past redlights and street signs, he had no idea where he was going, but the voice in his head apparently knew where to steer him. He trusted this voice, until he was headed right for a tree.
“Hey! Stop!” He yelled over the music, trying desperately to jerk the wheel, “Stop!”
The wheel wouldn’t budge, as if something was holding it there, he tried the breaks, tried unstrapping but nothing would work. He was stuck there, watching everything unravvel in slow motion. He felt as if he was watching from above, his hands covering his face as he seemed to shrink in size, screaming as the car collided with the tree. The tree snapping and falling onto the car. He felt heavy, his head spinning as blood dripped from his nose. Nausea hit him like a pile of bricks, he needed to vomit. He needed to get out of this car, he needed something to happen. His vision blurred once more as he noticed a branch lodged into his chest, the same wound that he first saw when he woke up at home. Chuckling weakly he shut his eyes, letting the numbness and nausea fall over him, slumping forward on the drives wheel. The airbag activated and slammed him backward into the seat, making him groan in pain.
His eyes strained as he slowly sat up in a new bed, he looked around, noticing his bag in the corner. He wiped his forehead, his stomach aching as he slowly shifted. His phone was on the nightstand, charging. He had no new messages. He was in a plain bedroom, no decor, not paint. Plain and boring. For once this calmed him down. His head was spinning as he tried to recall what had happened. He pulled the grey sheets off of him, looking down at his shirt, it was clean. He pulled it off, checking his chest scar. It was stitched and cleaned, he must’ve went to a hospital. He didn’t try to leave the bed, he wasn’t stupid enough to get out and explore some random place.
Grabbing his phone he sighed, rubbing his thumb over the cracked screen. He decided to text Tullia, he had no idea how long it’s been since they last talked. The last message he sent her was when she went missing, that was December. It’s February now. Was he asleep this whole time? He had no memory of anything, he couldn’t recall the missed weeks.
‘Tullia, you okay?’ Sent at 9:00pm.
He stared at the phone for almost an hour, holding his breath as he waited for a reply. There wasn’t one. His mind started to come up with the worst possibilities. She didn’t make it out, she was hunted and killed. She died. God she was dead and alone, she died scared and alone. She died because of me, she’s dead now, isn’t she?
“No..” He frowned, “The car wasn’t there.. She must’ve taken the car like I told her. She’s safe. She’s safe and she will text me back when she wakes up.”
Sure he could say that as much as he wanted but he had no idea if it was true or not, he wouldn’t know until he found out. He needed to find her, he didn’t want her to be hurt or worse. Putting his phone down beside him he flipped his arms over, looking down at the scars on his flesh. It stretched from his wrist to his elbow, one thicker than the other, one neater than the other. Right now he wished he could try again, this time not mess something up as simple as that.
His phone pinged, he quickly grabbed it before scowling.
“I’ve been added to a group chat? By fucking who?” He scowled.
Tapping on the group chat and looking through the contacts, he didn’t know any of these people, but he was connected to their wifi so it must’ve been whoevers house he was staying in. That was a fun thought, not knowing any of the people in the house you’re in, that’s fun. Really fucking fun.

Boy Oh Boy These Brothers
Peter ParkerxReader
Brother!Thor, Brother!Loki, Dad!Tony to Peter
Word Count: 1,869
Request from Anon: Peter x reader fic where the reader is Thor's and Loki's sister and both of them acting quite different about her relationship with peter. If you could bring in some Peter x dad!Tony, that would be great too.
A/N: Hey! Sorry it took a bit! Been busy. Uh this is probably a bit out of character for Thor and Loki, I’ve never really written with them before so I did what I could. This was really different for me and was a nice challenge. Thank you anon I hope you like it at least a little bit!
Tumblr media
Being 500 years younger than your brothers was often difficult. It didn’t help that your mother had given you practically everything of hers. Her personality, her beauty, even her title in her passing. You did have your differences from her but apparently they still needed to treat you different than they did each other.
You were always much closer to your brother Loki, you didn’t often agree with him, but he was a great tutor in magic. He was also more caring towards you than anyone had ever see him be with anyone else, except maybe your mother.
Thor on the other hand, was like any other older brother. He loved you dearly, but you weren’t a priority. You were sort of an enigma to him, he wasn't sure how to act around you. However, over the years and your journeys with him in Misgard, his attitude towards you changed. By the time Thanos was defeated you thought he was going to smother you. He was so protective of you now.
He had good reason, you weren’t just the goddess of the sky, you were the goddess of love and you didn’t need to use your powers for someone to fall for you.
Your fan base was larger than his was, but sometimes he was too much.
Which was why when Peter asked you on a date you didn’t tell either of your brothers. You knew Peter liked you for you, so you didn’t want to chance Thor being mad or Loki possibly cursing Peter.
One date led to two, and a few dates led to several months. How you managed to keep it a secret so long was beyond you. You never really lied to them, you just kept some truths.
It didn’t bother you any, but it did bother Peter.
“Mr. Stark, can I talk to you about something,” Peter asked, sitting down beside the man at his desk in the lab.
“What’s up, Pete?” Tony asked, wondering why the boy looked so nervous.
“So, I think I have a problem… ya know how I’ve been seeing Y/N?”
Tony nodded, wondering what kind of problem the young man could be having with you. Did you force him into loving you with your powers? Did someone else put the moves on you and you went with it? A dozen questions floated around but Peter’s answer surprised him.
“Well, she hasn’t exactly told Thor or Loki… and I’m afraid if she waits any longer they might get really mad…”
“Did you try talking to her about it?”
Peter sighed, “Yeah, and she just gave me the it doesn’t matter it’s none of their business anyway lecture. I just don’t want to upset anyone, ya know? But I’m afraid if I tell them then Y/N will be mad at me.”
Tony pat Peter on the shoulder. “Kid, listen Thor likes you a lot, I doubt he’d have even the slightest problem with you dating his sister. She’s like 600 years old, she can make her own decisions. As for Loki well, just try to not make him mad about anything and you’re good as gold.”
Peter sighed, “Thanks, but that doesn’t really solve my problem.”
“Look, don’t let it be your problem. If it comes down to it, it was her decision to not tell them. She doesn’t want you to, that’s what you tell them if they do find out. They can take it up with her if they have a problem.”
Even after giving it some thought Peter was still unsure, “But what if that doesn’t work? What if they force us to not be together, what if she realizes they’re right and we shouldn’t be together? What if-”
“Woah, slow down Pete,” Tony said, placing a hand on the young man’s shoulder. “Relax a minute okay? You’re thinking too much about what if’s. The thing is, you don’t know what will happen, but you shouldn’t keep working yourself up with scenarios like that. It’s only going to make things worse. If you’re so stressed about it, you know I’d gladly drop the ball for you guys.”
Peter frowned at Tony. “What do you mean drop the ball for us?”
“Ya know, let it slip to Thor and Loki that you two are together. It’d be real easy, I could act like I didn’t know they didn’t know.”
“You want Y/N putting some kind of curse on you?” Peter asked, surprised by his suggestion.
Tony shrugged. “It won’t be as bad as you stressing yourself out like this.”
Peter nodded slowly. “I don’t think I can agree to something like this… but I suppose if you did happen to let it slip, no one would know that you did it on purpose…”
It was a few days later, Tony didn’t even need to set any of his plans into action. Things fell right into place when he caught Thor in passing. It was the perfect opportunity.
“Stark, have you seen my sister? There’s some business we need to discuss.” Thor asked.
Tony didn’t miss a beat as it panned out. “Her and Peter had a date tonight, she didn’t tell you?”
Thor stared Tony down. “What do you mean date?”
“A date. You know, like two people going out, having dinner or something, guy brings the girl home and kisses her goodnight. That kind of date. She really didn’t tell you?”
There was such fury in Thor’s eyes. “No. She did not tell me.”
Tony shrugged. “Maybe she told Loki and forgot to tell you?” He suggested, knowing exactly what would happen next.
“Perhaps. I must go speak with my brother.” Thor turned on his heel and went straight to find Loki.
“Loki!” Thor’s voice rumbled throughout the room.
Loki arched a brow at his brother. “What is it now?”
“How could you not tell me our sister was going on a date with Peter?”
He laughed lightly and answered, “Perhaps because I was unaware that Y/N was on a date with him?”
“Stop playing games. This isn’t funny.”
“I’m not playing anything,” Loki told him, a smile on his face, unable to believe that he was being this way. “She’s old enough to make her own decisions, Thor. She can see whoever she wants.”
“She can not.” Thor stated. “I will not allow our younger sister to date.”
“That’s not your decision to make,” Loki told him.
Their argument went on for an hour. When you and Peter finally returned to the compound you were beyond surprised to hear your brothers yelling at each other all the way from the front entrance.
“Uh, sounds like you better take care of whatever that is going on in there,” Peter suggested.
You sighed, “You’re right. I’ll find you later.” You kissed him gently, a smile on your face, one that made him smile as well. However, you noticed it didn’t quite reach his eyes, he looked rather worried. There was a loud crash, so you pushed your thoughts aside and ran off to find your brothers.
You found them in the living room, which was a total disaster.
“What is going on in here?” You yelled over them.
Both finally stopped shouting and offered you their attention.
“Well?” You asked.
“You should not be dating,” Thor started on you. “I won’t allow it.”
You could only stare at the two of them, surprised. You could let this go a few ways, but frankly it wouldn’t be worth trying to hide it any longer. “I don’t care what you will or won’t allow, Thor. I can date whoever I please.”
“That’s what I’ve been trying to tell him,” Loki cut in before Thor could counter. “Frankly, I think Peter’s a fine choice for you. He’s smart, funny-”
“Enough,” Thor cut it, throwing a lamp towards his brother. “I don’t care who it is. You aren’t dating. I can’t someone use you.”
“Use me?” You questioned. “No one is using me! Just because Jane is being weird with you oh great one, doesn’t mean that Peter, who I care deeply about, is going to use me. I know how he feels about me. Don’t forget part of my powers is being able to feel how others feel about each other.”
“What if he’s tricking you? This has nothing to do with Jane.”
You quirked an eyebrow at him. “You know, I didn’t tell you guys because I really thought Loki was going to be the one to be mad. But I think I’d prefer that over you being mad Thor. But I can see why you would be mad. Your little sister found her love before you were able to get yours back. You’re jealous. I’m done talking about this. Imagine how mother would feel if she knew you wanted to keep me from being with the one I love.”
That was finally able to get through to him. You hated using your mother as ammunition against either of them, but this was ridiculous. Thor finally lost his look of anger, instead he was looking at you like you were right.
“How come you were so easily able to get him to stop but it took me an hour and I failed?” Loki asked, casting a spell to replace everything in the living room to its rightful place and manner.
You shrugged.
“She did not-” Thor started but you and Loki cut him off.
“Yes she did,” Loki said just as you said, “Yes I did.”
“Well now that you both know, at least I don’t have to hide it anymore.” You mused. “I’ll be going now. Behave, both of you. Also, I better not hear from Peter that he was threatened or anything of the sort, understand?”
Thor rolled his eyes. “Fine.”
You turned to leave but a question posed in your mind. “How did you two find out anyway?”
Loki pointed to Thor as he answered. “Stark said something.”
You nodded and finally left and went straight to find Peter. You knocked before entering, he was waiting patiently for you so the two of you could watch a movie. You plopped down beside him.
“Everything alright?” He asked, wrapping an arm around you.
“Oh you know, they found out we were dating and Thor was beyond pissed about it. Wanted me to not be dating, but I put him in his place.”
“Thor was mad?” Peter asked, he really thought he wouldn’t be.
“Yes, and Loki well, he pretty much gave you his blessing.”
“R-really?”
You nodded. “Yup. Now, be honest with me, did you set Tony up to tell them?”
Panic rose in Peter’s eyes, he was thankful your back was against his chest. “N-no of course not. Why did Tony tell them? I have no clue why he would have.”
You released a soft chuckle. “You’re a terrible liar, love.”
Peter sighed. “Alright, I’m sorry… I just… I couldn’t take the secrets anymore…”
“I understand, it feels good having it off my chest.”
“Me too.”
You tilted your head back just right so you could kiss his cheek.
“Thanks for not being mad at me.”
“I love you, remember?”
“I love you, too.”

Last installment to Resurrection, Revelation and Redemption aka the RED series
A/N: The Batboys have successfully saved their sister/daughter and Jason is thankful that they reached her, however there is a much bigger problem than old Joker and Black Mask at hand. Will they be able to work out the family conflict before damage can be inflicted on the family bonds any longer? Or is it really time to go their seperate ways?
Warning: Mentioning of rape (BUT NO RAPE!), blood
Previous (Redemption)
Jason sat afar from the unconscious body of his beloved, surrounded by his brothers as he kept his head in his hands, still in his bloodied armour, his helmet long gone. His hair was all over the place, having been running his hand through it like a madman.
The past few hours had been a blur, from abandoning his weapons to cradle Y/N in his arms as tears ran freely down his face, holding her dearly to her to his chest. That’s when he had lost his helmet, throwing it across the floor of the godforsaken prison.
But that didn’t matter. Not now.
All he could remember was that he had jumped onto his bike before finally finding himself watch from afar as Bruce and Alfred cut open the woman he loved, pulling out the small knives and daggers that Joker and Black Mask had pierced through her.
But the thing that got his blood boiling, was the sight of his murder’s hands on her, the way his smile widened at the fact that Jason caught him in the act of trying to ruin the woman he loved.
Jason didn’t even register the fact that he walked away from the medical bay, it was only when he was grabbed by the arm did he finally freeze.
‘Where do you think your going?’
‘None of your business!’ Dick, still in his Nightwing uniform, shook his head in realisation, his face filled with horror, ‘Your going after him aren’t you?’
‘Like I said, it’s none of your business-’
‘Y/N wouldn’t want you to do this-’
‘You would do the same thing if it was the woman you loved who was nearly raped and now on that surgery table! How would it be like if Barbara was in Y/N’s place!’
Dick was silent at this as Jason seethed, the two brothers staring into each other’s faces with great anger, before he finally whispered, ‘She was caught up in Joker’s talons before any of us Jason, if you don’t remember, he shot her point blank and now she’s stuck in a fucking wheelchair.’
Jason felt guilt crawl at his stomach, but he didn’t acknowledge as Dick stared him down, a growl in his firm tone as he shook in anger.
‘And I love Y/N with all my being, she is my little sister! But I know, if I went out there right now and killed that-fucking bastard, it may bring satisfaction to me but not to her when she wakes up!’
Jason chuckled at this, only for Dick to turn him towards him roughly, anger now swelling in his veins, ‘Do you really want Y/N to see you like this-’
‘What’s going on here?’ Jason turned away from his fa-Well, Bruce, who’s cowl was removed and his hands covered in blood, with a great huff as his older brother spoke for him, ‘He’s going after Joker!’
Damon and Tim turned at Dick’s outburst, their eyes twitching between their father and brother, Bruce turning to him dangerously slow, his expression unreadable. Even Jason turning to him finally when he was silent, though unable to actually get his eye.
‘What?’
‘Are you serious?’ Jason couldn’t help but look up at the man at his simple words, ‘What-’
‘Why would you even think of going after him?! After everything he has done to you and this family-’
‘This family?’ It was Jason’s turn to Bruce, anger once again boiling within him, ‘This family-WHAT ABOUT ME?!’
Dick stepped away from his father and younger brother, knowing that this row was one that he knew would be coming the moment he found out that Jason was alive again.
‘This is what’s its really been about Bruce!’ Jason exclaimed, his eyes widened like a madman, ‘You, and me, and him! Now its time for you to fucking decide! If you won’t kill that psychotic piece of filth, I will! You allowed him to kill me, but I won’t allow him to kill the woman I love or anybody else-And-And if you wanna stop me! You know what you’re gonna have to do? Your gonna have to kill me!’
Bruce shook his head, ’You know I won’t do that-’
‘I’m gonna fucking blow his brains out! And if you wanna stop me, your gonna have to shoot me, right between the eyes!’
‘You don’t understand. I don’t think you’ve ever understood.’
‘What? Oh wait-your moral code just won’t allow for that? It’s too hard to cross that line?!’
‘NO!’ Bruce finally yelled, no only shocking Jason but causing his other sons to jump at his raised voice, the pain finally wrenched from within him.
’God Almighty, NO! It’d be too damn easy to cross that fucking line! All I’ve ever wanted to do is kill him, to subjecting him to every horrendous torture he’s dealt out to others, including you and Y/N, and then… end him.’
Bruce shook his head as he finally looked back towards his son, his dear son that he witnessed dying on tape, lifelessly muttering, ‘But if I do that, if I allow myself to go down into that place, I’ll never come back.’
Jason shook his head, gritting his teeth painfully, ‘I’m talking about him. Just him. And doing it because-because he took me away from you … the one thing I thought you would fight for! You came for your daughter but not me?! I don’t even know what to believe anymore …’
Bruce stayed silent at his words, his eyes filled with pain. Jason just scoffed before turning to his bike, only to be grabbed by his shoulder.
’Let me go Bruce …’ However the man kept his hand steady, even as Jason continued to tug his arm out of his grasp, only for him to tighten his grip. Jason turned to him angrily, his anger beginning to fire up again, ‘Let me fucking go.’
‘That’s not an option.’
And then suddenly, like a switch had been flicked, Jason snapped, punching Bruce right across the jaw, elbowing him with a hard kneeing to the stomach.
‘I’LL SMASH YOU! I’LL SMASH YOU!’
He couldn’t control himself, pushing Bruce around, punching, hitting him, gripping the front of his suit and shaking him around. And yet, Bruce didn’t even lift a finger.
His heart broke as his son-HIS son, broke before him for the second time. And this time, he wouldn’t ignore their pain.
He grabbed him around the shoulders, holding Jason close to him and ignoring how he tried to resist, tightening his hold around his son.
‘LET ME GO! LET ME GO!’ Jason cried out, punching him in the chest, pushing and shoving with all his might until finally, he broke.
He crumpled against the man’s chest, looking up into the eyes of his father as tears ran down his face, whimpering, ‘You could’ve come for me! Why didn’t you come for me?!’
Bruce shook his head, and as his son fell to his knees, he brought him to his chest, his son’s head resting in the crook of his neck as he cried, finally able to hold the broken boy he never was able to save.

‘Its okay, I’ve got you son, I’ve got you.’
Just as my eyes fluttered open, I let out a desperate groan as my head began to pour. As my senses came back, I realised I was on my side, my back burning and the rest of my body stinging.
I looked up into the bright lights, instantly shaking my head due to the intensity, groaning once more. Slowly, I sat up carefully, only to realise that I was in the Batcave when the cold air hit my bare arms.
I smiled at the sight of it, relishing the feeling of being home, I looked down at my body to find myself in a very thin white night dress, looking around to see Alfred, who stood at the sink washing blood covered utensils, only to turn with a wide smile, ‘Ah Miss Y/N, you are awake! Thank goodness!’
He hurried over quickly, helping me pull my legs over the side of the stretcher, groaning heartily due to the amount of pain that pulsed throughout my body.
The butler gently lifted my eyelids, speaking once more as he pointed a light into my eyes, ‘You are lucky to be alive Miss Y/N. You almost half the amount of blood from your body due to the flogging that those monsters inflicted on you, but also from the knives that had been plunged into many any areas of your body!’
I sighed as I heard the butler’s words, not cited to see what hid beneath my night dress. Alfred continued, ‘The men of the Wayne family have been absolutely worried sick ever since you collapsed at Arkham and brought you here in a matter of minutes-’
‘Arkham?!’
So that was where I was held hostage. Makes sense due to the fact that that was the mere location where our family was ripped apart. It just shocked me that I hadn’t even recognised the place, I must’ve been that out of it to not realise it.
I groaned as the memories came back to me. Jason. Tim. Dick and Bruce. They had all been there! I look up at the elder as he checked my pulse, asking carefully, ‘Are they okay? You know-’
‘I guess at that point in time, in a situation which contained you smack bang in the middle of it, makes it top priority to secure your well being, and nothing less of that. So yes, they put they’re difference aside for a better outcome.’
I smiled at this lightly, and yet I was worried, after all this business with me being captured, would Bruce put his foot down and stop me from having any contact with Jason due to his vigilante history?
Speaking of the devil, Alfred and I looked up as the elevator sounded, the doors opening to reveal Bruce, the light pooling around him as if he were a God. Well in this case, one that looked like they had walked straight through death itself.
He was still in his Batman suit, however the cowl was gone. His hair was messy and face swollen with tiredness and the usual bruises gained from a fight, his blue eyes glazed and full of depth of emotions that could not be read. They widened at the sight of me, frozen and non-moving.
Finally he began making his way over slowly, Alfred squeezing my hand before moving away to clean the utensils once more that were still covered in blood. I gave Bruce a small smile as he reached me, coughing lightly in the awkward silence that rang between us before he finally muttered, ‘How are you feeling?’
‘Like my head has been smashed with a sledgehammer, but other than that I’m perfectly content.’ He chuckled at this lightly, looking down at my face, holding a mere smile, only to change as tears welled in his eyes.
‘You were in pretty bad shape. You had to have a blood transfusion and full operation right here by all of us, had to clot the blood as it poured like a waterfall down your back from those deep lashes …’
‘Dad-’
‘I had to cut open my little girl, my precious little girl-Y/N when I saw you in that-disgusting area of Arkham, I thought-I thought-’
At this I took Bruce into my arms, shocked as I held him tightly to me, allowing him to wrap his arms me as if I was made of glass, crying into my hair softly.
To be honest I had missed my Dad, and I though I may have been angered by him due to his actions in relation to Jason’s death, I still loved him dearly.
I felt my own tears well up in my eyes, running my hand through his dishevelled hair before whispering back, ‘I too for a moment thought I was done for. If none had found me, I definitely wouldn’t have made it without have made it out without all of you.’
Once he had calmed down, Bruce pulled away, cupping my cheeks loving in the palms of his large hands, running his fingertips across the bruised and cut skin of my cheeks as I gave him a loving smile.
‘Thank you for being the woman for this family. For keeping us together and being the support foundation that we need.’
I smiled at up him, now taking his hands into my own gently as I shook my head, ‘It wasn’t just me, it was all of us. We would’ve been on the streets, me most probably a prostitute just to scrape for money, the boys another bunch or robbers! You Bruce Wayne, you gave us a life! But this-the Batman, the Robin, the Nightwing, all of it, without it-I wouldn’t have made it tonight if it wasn’t for your training. So don’t take your work for granted because you’ve helped us, for the better … Dad.’
Bruce smiled at the name like he did when I had returned from Boston, with this certainty I knew, he loved being called it deep down.
I placed a gentle kiss to his forehead, smiling up at him when suddenly the elevator sounded once more to reveal the one I had been really wanting to see.
Jason, along with the rest of the boys who stood behind him, instantly looked up in shock and gasped at the sight of Bruce and I together, ‘Y/-Y/N-Your awake-’
But before Jason could reach me in his desperate dash, Bruce stopped him by standing in front of him, making all of us freeze at his actions.
He sighed heavily before finally looking him in the eye, ‘Jason, before anything else, I need you to know how terribly sorry I am for what happened to you that night three years ago. I know it seemed like I abandoned you but I-’
Jason raised a hand at this, silencing the man. I couldn’t help but gulp nervously, hoping that a fight wouldn’t break out. I really hoped that whatever he was about to say wouldn’t break them apart.
After all Jason had always said that he would never speak to Bruce ever again no matter the situation …
‘You should speak to Dad,’ I said softly as Jason ran his fingers down my back as we sat against the headboard together, our bodies intertwined, legs tangled. It was the wee early hours we lay in, having made love several times with pillow talk occurring every so often, and had led to this conversation.
‘Y/N-’
‘I know Jay,’ I said, squeezing his hand as his arm tensed around me, ‘I can’t stand him for what happened too. Not your death, but for not telling me, for stopping me from coming to you earlier after you were resurrected from the pit. When he told me he knew you were alive, I almost wanted to punch him.’
‘But?’ I looked up at this, finding him staring down at me, and I sighed, ‘Jason if I wasn’t the only one who suffered when you were murdered. Dick couldn’t perform gymnastics the same, even Tim and Damian mourned you when they entered the manor. But Bruce was the worst! He was silent for months before he even spoke. Heck he even went after Joker before me!’
Jason’s eyes widened at this instantly, but I continued, sitting up to look at him properly, ‘Jason, Bruce nearly killed himself! I know that recruiting Tim it angered you, but there is a reason why he did it! If you just stopped and spoke to him, you would finally know the whole truth.’
He squeezed my hand as I finished, looking up at me through hooded eyelids before reaching over and caressing my cheek, allowing me to curl myself further into his touch, ‘You are so beautiful … too good for this world.’
I smiled weakly at this, my expression falling lightly at his next words, ‘But I can’t, not after everything that has happened. To be honest I want to, to a certain extent, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to face my demons … and one of them is him.’
Tears filled my eyes at this, looking away from him slowly. All I wanted was our family to be whole again. But I guess not all wounds can be healed. Jason pulled me to his chest at this, holding me tightly to him and placing a kiss to my forehead, ‘I’m so, so sorry Y/N. I really am.’
I shook my head, hiding my face in his neck so he wouldn’t witness as I struggled to keep my composure, ‘Its okay, I understand.’
But the words that left his mouth in that moment, however, shocked me.
‘No I’m the one who should be sorry …’
The boys were just as shocked as I was, for we knew very well that Jason did not apologise easily to anyone no matter the situation.
‘I didn’t allow you to speak your piece when we met after my death and only went straight to conclusions about your actions for what happened. Recently I shut my big mouth and allowed the truth to be told straight,’ he looked at Tim at this who saluted him back with a smirk before turning back to Bruce, ‘and realised that I was wrong about you. So I am sorry, and hope that we can amend our ties—Dad.’
At this Bruce’s eyes widened in horror, and he instantly had Jason in his arms in  a fatherly hug, tears welling in my eyes at the very scene, my heart leaping for joy, a feeling it had not felt in a very long time.
The rest of my brothers made their way over to me quietly, all smiling at the scene. I looked towards Tim, beckoning him over, ‘What did you say to make Jason see what was right, little bird?’
He just smiled at this, ‘Like the man said, I told him just as it was, the truth.’
I smiled at this, ruffling his hair before Dick embraced me, holding me close to him as he whispered worriedly, ‘Please don’t ever do that again, little sister. I don’t want to lose anyone else, especially you!’
I smiled up at him when I pulled away, , ‘Don’t worry I won’t be too troublesome … for now that is.’ He rolled his eyes at my words as Tim chuckled, before I looked down towards Damian who gave me his famous scowl, ‘And you little one?’
He just scoffed at this, Tim instantly whispering in my ear, ‘He’s acting all tough now, but he was in tears and was so worried about you, continuously checking on your vital levels and cleaning your wounds when you were out.’
I smiled at this, staring down at him as he looked up at me with worried eyes, ‘I’m okay Damian, really. You don’t have to worry.’
The young boy looked up at this, sending me a gentle smile as I gave him a small wink. And in a flash, he had me up in a quick embrace, hugging me tightly around the waist before pulling away with an awkward cough as his older brothers sniggered, causing him to chase after them with the threat of skinning them alive.
I found myself chuckling at the scene, watching as my brothers ran throughout the bat cave before my eyes averted to Jason who made his way over, a small smile on his lips as he finally reached me, wrapping his arms around me tightly in his embrace.
No words were exchanged us, except for desperate love passing through each touch we exchanged, holding each other tightly despite the twinge of pain, Jason pressing kisses to any sort of skin he saw before placing them over my lips.
I ran my fingers through his hair, smiling lovingly up at him when he finally pulled away from me. He placed his forehead against mine, tears filling his eyes fast before spilling down his cheeks, holding my face gently in his hands as if made of glass, ‘God I thought I lost you baby girl.’
I chuckled at this, gripping his hands firmly as he sighed shakily, ‘I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect you from those bastards-’
‘Jason Peter Todd,’ I said firmly, pulling away from him, making him freeze at my tone, ‘Don’t you dare apologise, Don’t you even dare!’
We stared into each others eyes before I finally spoke again, ‘It wasn’t your fault, not at all … I knew you would say this the moment I saw Joker that morning before I blacked out. It never was your fault! That git is a slimy, crazy psychotic bastard that has nothing better to do with his life.’
The vigilante chuckled at this, shaking his head before placing his forehead against my own, ‘I’m so fucking in love with you.’ I smiled at this, running my fingertips through his hair as he took my hand into his once more, ‘Me too.’
‘Do you know where Jason is?’ Bruce said, pulling at the collar of his tux as he looked around for his son.
It was a number of months later after the incident at Arkham Asylum that I found myself looking for the man of the moment, due to the fact that it was his birthday. The boys and I had decorated the house up for a small intimate party with family and a couple of very close friends, as all people knew, Jason hated big parties.
I made my way out of the ballroom that we had spent decorating for hours upon hours, parting from the crowd, and grabbing my shawl before making my way into the great maze of a garden that stood tall outside the mansion before finally stumbling upon a pair of familiar gates I had not passed for months.
My heels clicked against the pavement, informing the figure stooped over the darkened headstone that he was no longer alone.
‘Thought I might find you here stranger.’
Jason turned to me at this, looking so grand in a dark blue blazer, smirking up at me with a burning cigaret hung between his lips, making me sigh deeply, ‘I wished you didn’t smoke …’
He too sighed at this, letting out a puff of smoke as I came to his side, wrapping his arm around my waist. He knew this very well, and thought I really did hate it, I knew it was a coping mechanism that he needed, and didn’t mind it to a certain extent.
‘Why are you out here? What’s up?’ I turned to look down at his gravestone, weathered down and darkened, vines slowly crawling up its sides. Jason shrugged lightly, tossing his cigaret away, ‘I guess I wanted to take a trip down memory lane since it was that day.’
I looked up at him at this, his expression hardened, eyebrows furrowed and his jaw tight. I rubbed his back, leaning my head on his shoulder, ‘Bruce has been talking about getting rid of this. He only means to do it for your own good-I mean there really isn’t a point of it anymore … Don’t you think?’
At this, Jason shook his head, smiling lightly, ‘No-No I’m gonna talk to Bruce about not doing that.’
‘Why?’
‘I guess-This is the old me. The boy who was so excited on his first day as the sidekick of Batman, who wanted to explore a career in literature, who was excited to take his special girl out to the carnival - All to be destroyed by a stupid clown with green hair with a maniac laugh.’
Jason’s grip around my waist tightened, but I allowed him to do so before he reached to into his blazer and pull out a ripped piece of fabric, my heart dropping at the sight of the famous “R” of the Batman’s sidekick Robin.
I choked at this. ‘You-’
‘Yeah,’ Jason said as he turned to me, staring down at me as he gripping the fabric, ‘I kept it. I know it-seems stupid, but it was a reminder that I had something to come back to, and that something was you.’
Tears began to well in my eyes as he stepped closer to me, leaving no space between us, ‘You know I used to visit here just beyond the treelike just to see you once I snapped out of the Joker’s mess? And when I would see you, when you would see before this gravestone with a large smile, it was like things were normal again. Hearing you speak and talk to me was like we never parted. Even through the moments when I saw red, you were the were the one thing that kept me grounded.’
I smiled weakly at him before turning away, shaking my head as I wiped away the tears that fell, ‘Bloody smooth talker.’ Jason chuckled loudly at this, wrapping his arms around me as I pulled him down towards me, kissing him gently, loving, intimately.
It was during the mere months that had passed that Jason and I had become even closer than ever before, becoming each other’s confidant with each others secrets and insecurities.
Jason, battling his demons that continued to rage on within him, and me as I got used to how I was unable to do perfect attacks as Batgirl or have the same body as before.
We needed each other, that support, to balance each other out.
And though I found out much later from Dick, Jason had already battled and faced one of his demons, leading his reconciliation with Bruce, who he now had a very close relationship with.
When I pulled away, I continued to hold his face in my hands, kissing him once more, ‘Your too good for this world.’ He scoffed at this, but continued to smile down at me, pulling away quickly to place the ripped piece of fabric beside the gravestone.
He was at my side once more, taking his hand in mine and leading me back wordlessly with a lopsided smile. And though the future was uncertain, and though bumps would be met upon the way, both Jason and I knew that we would beat them together.

You stood at the counter of the diner trying to decide if you should go back to the booth where your father, uncle, and twin brother sat, or if you’d have a better time alone at the counter. You’d gone up to ask for more napkins to clean up a spill that Robby, your twin had made. However glancing back you saw that they had waved down the waitress who your dad and brother were both flirting with.
With the roll of your eyes you took a seat at the counter; knowing you’d actually enjoy your meal if you weren’t near your father or brother.
You loved them both dearly and at one point your entire family was so close knit that your absence would have been noticed right away. However as you grew older the bond you shared with your twin and father began to disappear and once you started going on hunts with your dad and uncle, it all but vanished.
At first you told yourself that you were overreacting; that your father was just constantly worried about you, but as time went on you saw how close Robby and your dad still were, yet you remained on the outside.
It was something that your dad and brother both seemed oblivious to. Whenever you’d try to involve yourself in what they were doing they would send you away with some excuse as to why you couldn’t participate with them and soon you just stopped asking.
This never seemed to impact them, but it sure effected you.
Your father and Robby might not have seen what they were doing, but your Uncle Sam did. At first he tried to stick up for you, pointing out to Dean all the times it seemed that Robby and him would purposefully leave you out. Dean would deny it and after countless arguments with no change Sam stopped trying. Instead he became the figure in your life you so desperately wanted.
Still, there were times that Sam got sucked into whatever fun Robby and your dad were having; leaving you to be the outsider in your family once more.
It was a role you learned to accept and gave up hope that it’d change.
You were just finishing up your grilled cheese when you felt a presence behind you.
“What’s up squirt?” Robby asked as he plopped down next to you.
You rolled your eyes at his antics, “I was enjoying my lunch before you decided to interrupt.”
“You love me.” Robby replied.
“Riiight.” You quirked before taking a bite off of a french fry.
Robby grabbed a fry off of your plate, placing it in his mouth he asked you, “Whatcha doing over here?”
“Avoiding you.” You said with a sly smile.
Robby let out a scoff and lightly pushed your shoulder, his mannerisms matched your fathers so much it was scary.
“For real, why you over here by yourself? Thought you were just grabbing some napkins then comin’ back. What’s up with that?” He questioned, looking at you with the same eyes as your father.
You shrugged your shoulders, “You guys seemed to be having a grand time without me so I figured I’d get some me time.”
Robby rolled his eyes at your words, “You throwing yourself another pity party?”
“It’s not a pity party if it’s true.” You quickly replied.
“It’s not true, how’re we supposed to hang around you if you walk away all the time?” He questioned.
“Why would I wanna hang around if I’m just gonna be ignored the entire time?” You responded.
Robby let out a groan, “Will you stop with that crap? We don’t ignore you.” You simply scoffed in return, “Come on squirt, I miss hangin’ out with you. What’s the point of having a twin if they’re never around?”
“I’m not a squirt.” You stated.
“But you do miss hangin’ out with me? Don’t ya?” Robby prodded.
Rolling your eyes you glared at your brother, “Maybe.”
“Ha you do, just admit it.” Robby told you.
“And if I confess what do I get?” You bartered.
“You, my wonderful sister, will get to hangout and watch movies with me tonight.” Robby replied.
“Doesn’t sound like much of a reward.” You joked.
Robby lightly elbowed you, “I’m serious. I miss hangin’ out.”
You let out a groan, “Fiiiine, tonight we can watch movies.”
“Awesome, now, let’s go.” Robby said.
“Don’t we have to pay?” You pointed out.
“Na, Dad paid for us already.” Robby told you.
“Mine too?” You questioned.
“Uhh, I think so?” Robby answered, but it was more of a question.
Letting out a sigh you looked over at the waitress who had been helping you, “Excuse me, mam? Did my dad pay for my food?”
She looked down at her orders and shook her head, “Sorry hun, no one paid for yours yet.”
“That man over there didn’t?” Robby asked as he pointed towards your father.
The waitress blushed but shook her head, “No, he paid for the table and that was it. I can ring you out now if you’re ready to go.”
“Yes please.” You answered politely before sending a look at your brother, “Always the forgotten child.”
Robby let out a scoff but couldn’t help but feel bad about your joke; he was beginning to see it was kinda true.
“You ready to go?” Your dad asked as he approached Robby with Sam close behind him.
“Uh yeah, just a sec.” Robby replied as he looked back at you.
“Oh, Y/N/N, there you are. Where’ve you been?” Dean questioned but you simply rolled your eyes as a response. Thanking the waitress you gave her a tip before looking back at your uncle, sending him a knowing look.
He totally had no idea I was gone.
Later that night you sat in Robby’s room with his laptop connected to the television so that it could play the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies that you two loved. You and Robby were having a blast, remembering how you used to watch the movie on repeat to the point where it drove your parents crazy. The pair of you were about halfway through with the first movie when your dad knocked on the door.
“Hey Robby, guess what I got u-oh, hey Y/N. Whatcha guys doing in here?” He asked.
“Just having a movie night, been a while since we did one so figured we should catch up.” Robby explained with a smile.
“Oh, well, you guys will have to pick it up some other time. Robby, I got us a pair of tickets for the Top Notch wresting show in town tonight. Hurry up we gotta go or we’re gonna be late.” Your dad said in an excited tone.
You looked over at Robby expecting him to be bouncing up but he just stayed in his seat. “That’s awesome dad, did you get one for everybody?” He asked in a hopeful tone.
Dean shook his head, “Na, figured we’d make it a father-son thing. You gonna be ready in a few?”
Robby looked at you before glancing back at his dad, “It sounds like a lot of fun dad, but I promised Y/N we’d hangout. I’ve been bailing on her a lot lately and I-”
Dean interrupted, “I’m sure she’s fine with it, aren’t you Y/N/N?”
You opened your mouth, about to say it was okay, but you quickly shut it when you decided that if you didn’t tell your father how much what he was doing bothered you then it wasn’t going to get any better.
“Actually dad, I do mind.” You said, speaking your mind. Dean shot you a confused look but you continued, “You and Robby have shut me out of a lot lately and I just, I wanna feel like I belong again.”
Dean took your words in and slowly nodded his head, “I’m sorry you’ve been feeling like that baby girl, I never meant for it to be like that.”
“I know dad,” You said softly, “It just sucked.”
Dean walked over and gave you a tight hug, something he normally did but hadn’t done in months. Placing a kiss to your forehead he looked down at your face, “How ‘bout you and Robby take the tickets and go together?” He offered.
You shook your head, “It’s okay, you and Robby can go. Then maybe tomorrow we can go do something together, as a family?”
Dean let out a small chuckle, “Sounds good sweetheart. Robby, get ready and I’ll meet you in the garage.”
After your dad left Robby busted out laughing, “Aw you and dad had a chick flick moment.”
“Shut up.” You said lightheartedly, “I’m a girl, he has to have them from time to time.” Slapping his back you turned away from him, “Better get ready if you plan to tame that hair.”
Walking out of Robby’s room you headed towards the library in search of your uncle; you figured if Robby and Dad were going to be gone tonight that maybe he’d wanna do something with you. You were nearly to the library when you heard what sounded like your dad and uncle arguing.
“Well have you ever thought she feels like that because it’s how you make her feel?” Sam questioned.
Your dad let out a scoff, “She’s just being a dramatic teenager. They always go on about feeling ignored and like they don’t get enough attention.”
Robby came up behind you and you quickly turned to face him, placing your finger to your lips in a ‘be quiet’ motion.
“Yeah, but Y/N doesn’t make it up Dean. You spend way more time with Robby then you do with her. Hell you ignore her half the time, maybe that’s why she feels that way.” Sam tried to explain to your dad but it was hopeless.
“It’s just girly problems Sam; she’ll get over it. She’d probably rather read a book or something then come hangout with me, now stop trying to give me parenting advice; last time I checked I’m their father, not you.” Dean said with an attitude.
“Yeah well last time I checked I know more about your daughter and spend more time with her then you do. So nice try with the ‘I’m her father’ crap because at this point, I’m more her father than you are.” Sam replied.
You didn’t wanna hear anymore, you moved to leave but Robby grabbed your arm and gave you a desperate look which you just shook your head at. Wrenching your arm out of his hold you went to your room, slamming the door with the hope of keeping the outside world away.
Three weeks have passed and you have avoided everyone in your family ever since. If your father didn’t want to be around you then you didn’t want to be around him. Robby hadn’t said anything to you about it so you assumed he was just too oblivious to realize what you were doing. Sam caught on quickly, he was just an innocent bystander in your anger, but you still ignored him.
You ate your meals alone in your room, read more lore than ever before, trained harder. Your reason behind it?
Maybe if you were the best your dad would want to be around you.
You were in the middle of hitting a punching bag in the bunker’s gym when your uncle came walking in.
“Hey kiddo, what’s up?” He asked as he came strolling up to you.
You glanced up at him but continued to hit the bag, “Working out.” You stated the obvious fact while trying to dismiss Sam.
He wasn’t going to let you though, “You’ve been doing that a lot lately.” He spoke back, “Working out. Reading lore. Upping your hunting skills.”
“Yeah well,” You breathed out, “Winchester’s gotta be good hunters. Gotta prove to dad I belong.”
“Is that what this is all about?” Sam questioned.
You looked at him, but turned your eyes back to the task at hand; ignoring his question.
“Y/N.” Sam tried again but you continued to ignore him so he grabbed the punching bag, “Y/N.” Sam said in a stern voice.
“What?” You asked in an angry tone while you stopped your movement.
“What is with you lately? I understand you’re ticked at your dad but you never used to shut me out like this.” Sam said, his voice getting softer as he spoke.
You gave your uncle a sad smile, “‘M sorry, it’s just, I wanna get better. I wanna rub it in my dad’s face that I’m just as good as Robby. That I’m just as worthy of his attention as Robby is.”
Sam’s face mirrored yours, “You don’t have to be like Robby to get his attention.”
“But I do; otherwise it’s just ‘girly problems that I’ll get over’ right?” You repeated your father’s harmful words from a few weeks ago.
Sam let out a sigh, “I thought you might have heard that.”
“Yeah well, when dad and Robby were gonna go out I thought maybe you’d wanna hangout. Heard that instead.” You filled your uncle in.
Sam opened his mouth to try and make it better; but he knew that no matter what he said it didn’t matter, he couldn’t defend his brother this time.
“Well, I like hangin’ around you.” Sam said with a smile.
You let out a small scoff, “Thanks Uncle Sammy, I like hangin’ out with you too. It’s just-” You stopped yourself trying to find the words, “I just wanna be wanted by my dad too. We all used to be so close, then mom died and he kept us so close, now he wants nothing to do with me. I just don’t get why.”
“It’s not that Y/N.” Sam tried to explain but he honestly didn’t know what was going on with Dean. Whenever he asked Dean would shut him out.
“Then what is it Sam?” You said, frustrated with the conversation.
Sam went to answer but was interrupted by Dean’s voice sounding in the gym.
“We got a case Sam, pack up! Robby’s all ready to go so we’re just waiting on you.” He told his brother.
“What about Y/N?” Sam asked, looking between you and your father.
Dean shrugged his shoulders, “Figured she’s wanna stay here,” Dean explained, “You haven’t been too interested in Team Winchester lately.”
You scoffed at his words, “Surprised you noticed.” You mumbled out.
“What?” Dean asked but Sam answered for you.
“She’s been training and reading up these past few weeks; told me it would help us on hunts. I say we put it to the test, whatcha say Y/N/N?” Sam questioned with a smile, giving you the opening to prove to your father that you were just as good as Robby.
Dean looked at you with an obvious fake smile, “If you wanna come you can.”
Sam glanced at Dean with a confused face, wondering why he was acting so strange before he looked back at you, giving you an encouraging smile.
“Yeah. I’m ready.”
You weren’t ready.
None of you were prepared for that hunt.
What was supposed to be a simple ghoul hunt resulted in your family going after the alpha ghoul who wasn’t too happy about your family killing his.
The alpha had managed to get a hold of you and Robby, using you as leverage against your father. He had slit one of Robby’s wrists to slowly drain him and had nicked an artery in your leg when your father and uncle showed up.
Dean and Sam handled the alpha before turning their attention to you and Robby. Dean ran to Robby while Sam went over to you. You were extremely pale after losing so much blood, too much blood. As you opened your mouth to tell your uncle you were injured your father’s shouting rang about the room.
“What were you thinking Y/N?!” He roared, “You got you and your brother kidnapped! Do you know what could have happened if we hadn’t found you in time?”
Robby tried to stop him, knowing that you were in trouble but Dean wouldn’t let him, “You’d be ghoul food! That’s what!”
“Dean!” Sam shouted, knowing right now wasn’t the time for this.
You continued to hold your flannel with your shaky hand over the wound on your leg. At this point you were light headed and you knew you probably weren’t going to make it out of this. A tear fell down your cheek as you looked at your father, knowing you had let him down.
“I’m sorry Daddy.” You said in an exhausted tone, alerting the men in your family that something was wrong.
Dean turned from furious to concerned in an instant, “Y/N, baby what’s wrong?” Your breathing was getting more labored as your body leaned further onto your uncle so he was the only thing keeping you up.  “Y/N?” Dean questioned in a worried tone as he cupped your face in his hands, “Baby, where are you hurt?”
Sam continued to hold you and looked down at your body, noticing your hand lightly holding onto your flannel, he lifted it up.
“Oh my god.” Sam said as he pushed down on your leg with as much pressure as possible, “Dean she’s bleeding out, the alpha hit an artery.”
Dean looked at Sam’s hand and felt panic begin to take over.
“Robby!” Dean said loudly, snapping his brother out of the trance he was in from looking at your leg. Getting his keys out he handed them to his son, “Baby’s at the edge of the parking lot. Go get her. Now.”
Robby quickly nodded his head before sprinting out of the warehouse.
“Y/N baby, you gotta stay awake, can you do that for me?” Dean asked you gently.
“I’m so sorry dad. I tried so hard.” You whined out, too exhausted to cry.
“Tried what baby?” Dean questioned, trying to keep you talking and alert.
“To belong.” You said sadly, “I just wanted to belong in the family and I couldn’t even do that.”
“What are you talking about?” Dean pushed.
“You never wanted to be around me, only Robby. I tried so hard and when you didn’t notice I decided to be a better hunter like Robby, only I failed that too.” You tried to explain as you fought your eyes to stay open.
“No, no baby I love having you around. It’s just, you’re so much like your mother and I-I was selfish and didn’t want you to be ruined by this life like she was.” Dean tried to tell you, “I always want you around, you’re like having a piece of your mom around so sometimes it makes me sad, but baby you gotta stay with me okay? You can’t leave me, I-I promise I’ll make it all better, you just gotta stay awake.”
Dean had tears rolling down his cheeks as she continued to hold your face in his hands long after you eyes had closed.
“Y/N, Y/N please.” Dean implored, “You can’t leave me.”
Sam reached his arm around so that he was completely holding you as his body shook with tears. Dean placed his forehead to yours as he continued to beg you to wake up.
That’s the scene Robby ran up to after pulling the impala up to the front door. As he neared the sight he slowed down, knowing what he was walking into but praying it wasn’t real.
His breath caught as he stood behind his father, seeing your still body and his father and uncle crying. Dean looked behind him at the sound of his son’s presence and tried to reach out for him but Robby just shook his head and stepped back.
“Robby-” Dean tried but Robby continued to shake his head.
“No.” He said in a destroyed voice, “No. She’s not-she can’t be-Dad.”  Robby began to sob. Dean was torn between comforting his son and holding onto his baby girl.  He reached out for Robby again who continued to shake his head. “No Dad, she, she, I never got the chance to-dad we were gonna make it better. We had the time to make it better. She didn’t think she-dad, she just wanted to belong.”
Dean stared at his son while soaking in his words.
Everyone in his family knew what you were going through.
Everyone but him.
He looked back at your face and broke again, his daughter was there because of him. She was trying to prove to him that she belonged in his family. She didn’t realize she was the foundation of the family.
Dean gently took you from Sam’s arms and cradled you in his, close to his chest. He held you tight while placing kisses to your head as tears fell from his eyes, occasionally whispering, “You do belong baby, you do.”

Time Will Take Them Away (Chapter 7)
A/N: Hello Lovely Wonderfuls! I’m very sorry for the wait, but I hope you enjoy it! this is the calm before the storm, so get ready! As always I wish you the loveliest of days!
Chapter 7
Alexander was growing increasingly anxious with each passing day. He missed her, more than he should. He couldn’t stop thinking about their kiss and how angry she was with him. He wanted to call her and write her a million letters. He wanted to be with her. He wanted to hold her. He felt like he was going crazy.
It didn’t help that him and Angelica had been fighting about nearly everything. He tried not to think about Eliza. Really he tried, but it was like his brain could hardly think of anything else. He loved Angelica. She was beautiful, intelligent, funny, sharp, kind, and confident. He knew he still loved her, he just wasn’t sure in what way anymore.
He groans, pulling at his hair and laying his head down on his desk. Trying to focus on his work. He didn’t know how to deal with all his emotions. He’d never felt this way before and it was throwing him through a loop. He sighs, getting up to get more coffee.
He enters the kitchen, seeing Angelica making herself a sandwich. He goes and kisses her cheek, he swears he sees her cringe slightly. He ignores it, sure it’s his lack of sleep and derailed emotions.
“I’m going to spend the weekend with Eliza, so I brought some of those microwave meals for you to have.”
“Oh, thank you,” he takes a sip of his coffee, a still silence between them. “How is she doing?”
“Really good, she seems happy,” he can hear the small smile in her voice.
Eliza brings joy with just her name. He shakes his head at himself.
“That’s good.”
“Yeah,” she turns to him. “You’ll be okay?”
“Yeah, don’t worry.”
“Okay,” she nods.
She pauses a moment, kissing his cheek and leaving the kitchen.
Angelica had never felt so unsettled in her life. She had been fighting with Alexander all the time. She felt so annoyed. She wasn’t sure what it was, but nothing felt the same. She thought maybe it was Eliza moving, but if she was honest with herself, she’s felt this way for a long time.
She just didn’t feel close to him anymore. Maybe they were going through a slump, but maybe their relationship was running it’s course. She shakes her head not wanting to think about it. She makes her way to work, relief seeping through her. She loved going to work. It was a welcome distraction, besides the fact that she loved what she did.
She types away at her desk, when she’s interrupted by a knock on her desk. She looks up to see John Church, a fellow employee and work friend.
“Working hard there, Schuyler?”
He smirks at her playfully, and she smirks as she continues to type.
“Aren’t I always?”
She looks up at him with a raised eyebrow, her smirk still place. He laughs and hands her a cup coffee.
“Thank you,” she smiles fully.
“No problem,” he winks. “It was my pleasure,” he pauses taking a sip of his own coffee, “it’s worth it to you smile.”
She catches her breath and a light blush rushes to her cheeks. He smirks at her once more and she’s quick to compose herself.
“What a reward for you,” she turns back to typing, pretending to ignore his presence.
He laughs, giving her a bright smile and nodding his head.
“That it is, Schuyler,” he starts to walk away backwards, slowly. “A fantastic reward.”
She looks up at him once more before he turns around. She smiles at him without being able to stop herself, he smiles back and winks at her, before turning and leaving.
“Already flirting this early, Angie?”
She turns to her friend, Sarah, looking at her confused.
“What are you talking about?”
“You and Church,” she laughs.
“We weren’t flirting,” she shakes her quickly.
“Okay,” she says, turning back to her own work.
Angelica turns back to her desk, starting type again. Was he flirting? Could she really deny that maybe she was too? But that’s the way they had spoken to each other for months. Why did the thought of him flirting with her, make her heart flutter? She shakes her head at herself, not the time or place. She focuses on her work once more, without anymore interruptions.
Her day flies by and she can’t wait to see Eliza. She missed her sister dearly, things just didn’t feel the same without her. Peggy readily agreed, she had been talking about going to see Eliza all week. Laf was only mildly hurt, that she wasn’t going to miss him. She picks Peggy up and they head straight to Brooklyn.
They arrive at Eliza’s place and squeal as soon as they see her. They all jump in a group hug, before entering her apartment and getting ready for their girls weekend. Eliza and Peggy get the snacks, while Angelica sets up the living room.
“What are we watching, ladies?” Eliza asks her sisters as she gets comfortable.
“I say Parks and Rec,” Peggy suggests from Eliza’s right.
“What about The Good Place, Betsey hasn’t seen it,” Angelica nudges her.
“You haven’t seen it?”
“Nope.”
“I guess we’re watching that first then,” Peggy says, snuggling into Eliza. “But,” she lifts her head, looking at her sisters, “after that we’re watching Parks and Rec.”
“Of course, dearest,” Eliza smiles, kissing her forehead.
They watch the first season, swapping snacks, making drinks, and giggling the night away.
“This is exactly what I needed,” Angie sighs, leaning back against the couch.
“Has work been really hectic?” Eliza smiles sympathetically,  leaning on her shoulder.
“No,” she sighs in frustration, “Alex has been such a pain lately.” She shakes her head, running a hand through her hair. “Its like we’re always annoying each other.”
Eliza glances over at Peggy, she just frowns and shrugs her shoulders.
“I’m sure he’s just swamped at work, Ange, she rubs her arm. Angelica only shrugs her shoulders. “Besides you’re never annoying, you’re always delightful,” she smiles big, while Angie chuckles.
“I’m glad you think so, dearest,” Angelica smiles at her, bopping her nose.
“What about you and Laf,” Eliza sits up, turning to Peggy. “How are you guys doing?”
“We’re good,” she smiles, nodding. “I do feel a little bad,” she laughs.
“Why?”
“I left in such a hurry because I was so excited to see you, and I barely said goodbye,” she frowns.
“He knows how much you love him,” Eliza reassures her.
“Yeah, you practically never shut up about him,” Angelica smirks.
Eliza tries to hide her smile, but a laugh escapes her lips instead.
“Betsey,” Peggy gasps out, glaring at her sisters.
She picks up a handful of popcorn and throws it at them and laughs at their shocked faces. Before they know it, chips, popcorn, and pretzels were being thrown back and forth. They get up, each with a bowl of snacks, tossing a different snack at each other. Once they’re done, they fall back onto the floor in a mess of giggles.
“Your hair is a mess,” Eliza laughs looking at Peggy.
“So is yours,” she laughs.
They look over at Angie, bursting into another fit of giggles.
“Mine can’t look any worse than yours,” she laughs along with them.
“Wait, nobody move,” Eliza says reaching for her phone. “This is a Kodak moment.”
She switches on her camera, and they take a whole bunch of pictures of them on the floor, smiles and giggles galore with chips, popcorn and pretzels stuck in their hair. They finally calm down and lay there in a comfortable silence, before Angie remembers something.
“I almost forgot, Betsey,” she turns to look at her, “what’s your news?”
“Oh yeah,” she smiles with a light chuckle. “I met someone.”
Both of her sisters bolt up, looking at her in shock as she sits up herself.
“When?”
“Where?”
“How?”
“We met yesterday, at the store,” she smiles as she remembers. “And he helped me get some chips that I couldn’t reach.”
“Is he cute?” Peggy smiles at her excitedly.
Eliza nods with a big smile.
“Was he nice?” Angelica asks, more wary.
“Yes, he behaved like a perfect gentleman,” she smiles, patting Angies hand. “We walked around the store talking and after we checked out, he asked for my number.”
“Has he called?”
“Yeah, we have a date next week,” Eliza grins.
They all pause looking at each other before squealing.
“Wait, what his name?” Angie stops them.
“André, he’s actually from England, which is probably why he was so proper.”
“I hope this all works out, Betsey,” Peggy takes her hand with a smile. “You deserve so much to be happy.”
“Pegs,” Eliza smiles softly, placing a hand over her heart.
“You really do, dearest,” Angelica smiles at her.
“You guys are going to make me cry,” she hugs them both tightly.
“We just love you, Eliza,” Angelica says pulling away.
“Plus, we haven’t seen you in forever,” Peggy adds with a frown.
“I know, I’m sorry,” she places a hand on her shoulder. “I promise I’ll come visit this weekend.”
“Yay!” Peggy tackles her in hug, and Angie joins in.
“I’ve missed you both so much, I hope you know that.”
“Duh, we’re awesome,” Peggy rolls her eyes.
They fall into another fit of giggles before cleaning things up and ordering actual food. They fall asleep on the couch, Parks and Rec playing on the tv, and snacks still in their hair.
They wake up the next morning and decide on doing a spa day at Eliza’s apartment. After going to breakfast, they pick up a few spa essentials, before heading back to her apartment. They do facials, paint each other’s nails, and even do each other’s hair and makeup. They take another bunch of pictures, and then head to Eliza’s favorite restaurant. The day goes by in a blur and before they know it, it’s nearly midnight and they fall asleep in Eliza’s room this time.
Sunday morning comes, and Angelica is dreading going home. She doesn’t want to go home and deal with Alex. She’s not sure she even wants to see him, and it scares her how true that feels.
“Everything okay, Ange?” Eliza looks at her worried. “You look upset.”
“It’s nothing,” she waves her hand, dismissing her sisters worries. When Eliza just looks at her with raised eyebrows, she sighs. “I just don’t want to go home and argue with Alex that’s all, we’ve been at each other’s throats lately.”
“I’m sure everything will be okay,” she grabs Angelicas hand in hers. “Besides, since you came to see me, it’s given you some time to miss each other,” she smiles.
Angelica nods, even though she didn’t feel like she had missed him at all. She felt more relieved to be away from him. She shakes her head of the thought, and smiles at Eliza.
“He better have,” she jokes, making Eliza laugh.
“Of course he did,” she smiles.
“Alright, I guess I’m ready,” Peggy frowns, looking downcast.
Eliza gets up to embrace her sister, giving her a squeeze.
“I promise, I’ll be there this weekend to see you,” she pulls away, giving her a soft smile. “I won’t even pay attention to the boys,” she chuckles. “Okay?”
“Okay,” Peggy smiles, giving Eliza another squeeze, before stepping back.
“Call me when you get home, okay?” She tells Angelica, embracing her tightly.
“We will,” she smiles.
“I love you, darlings.”
“We love you, dearest,” they say together.
After making sure Peggy got home, Angelica arrived at her apartment opening the door quietly. She sighs in relief when she sees Alex is nowhere to be found. She sits on the couch, turning on the tv and wondered if she still loved him the same way anymore. She knew she cared about him, she didn’t want to hurt him, but was she in love him? She wasn’t sure anymore. But, when he came through the door she plastered on a smile.
“Hey, babe,” he greets her with a gentle smile of his own.
“Hey,” she reaches out for a hug, it’s quick, but it was something.
“I’m sorry I’ve been such a nightmare lately,” he looks down at his hands, before looking up at her. “Works just been crazy and,” he pauses, shaking his head, “I just, I’m sorry.”
“Its okay,” she brushes a stray hair from his face.
He smiles, kissing her wrist and moving to wrap an arm around her.
“How was the girls weekend?”
“It was great,” her smile genuine, as thinks of the time she spent with her sisters.
“How is Eliza doing?” he asks, trying not to sound overly curious.
“Really good, she seems happy,” she snuggles into him. “Oh, and she met someone.”
He does his best not to tense, and keep his feelings at bay.
“She met someone?”
“Yeah, some guy named André,” she shrugs her shoulders. “He sounds nice enough and she’s really excited about it.”
“That’s great,” he tries to sound happy for her. “I’m sorry, babe, I have this report I have to finish, so I’ll be in the office.”
“Okay,” she sits up, so he can leave.
He places a kiss on her head and leaves the room. She sits back breathing another sigh, maybe she still loved him, maybe it was just a little rough patch. Maybe she was lying to herself, she couldn’t tell.
Alex had received a text a few hours ago from Eliza, that simply said:
*Be sweet to Angie, she needs it right now, and she deserves that from you. That’s all I have to say.
He wanted to ask her a million questions, but none of them had to do with her sister and she didn’t seem to want to talk to him. He sighs and types back his reply.
-I will, and you’re right, she deserves a lot more.
As he put his phone down, he closed his eyes and if he concentrated hard enough he could almost forget the way she felt in his arms, and the touch of her lips on his.

the forgetten winchester
Robby tried to stop him, knowing that you were in trouble but Dean wouldnt let him, “You’d be ghoul food!
