Chapter Five of “Part of Your World” “Babysitting Gone Wrong” Now Up

“So, he’s Jill’s Aunt’s adopted son?” Jake asked as he and Chris took the first shift, scanning the water with the giant spotlight on the end of Kevin’s ship, the others eating dinner.

“Yep.” Was Chris’s curt reply, “That’s what I remember her telling me and he confirmed that story, so…”

“I don’t remember Jill having an Aunt.” Barry added as he came up onto the deck, having decided to help them, scanning the side of the boat with his flashlight, “And there’s still something fishy about him…he’s eerily familiar.”

“How so?” Jake asked.

“Well, and don’t go for my throat, Redfield.” Barry began, “But he kind of looks like that fish we’re hunting for now.”

“That would definitely be weird.” Chris said with a laugh, “Then I guess we’re just out here wasting our time if that was the case, right?”

They all thought about it for a moment, but luckily Jake was the one to object, saying that they would have known if Leon had been the merman. That, and the fish man had been a blonde and glowing bluish green eyes. Leon had dark brown hair and normal looking blue eyes. Barry argued that Merpeople could fit in, at least that’s what the internet and DC had told them at dinner. Maybe it had something to do with being on dry land for so long.

Chris ignored them as he continued to look out into the ocean, knowing he wouldn’t spot Leon out here for obvious reasons. Barry did manage to catch his attention, asking what Chris thought of Leon.

“Didn’t expect him to show up out of the blue.” Literally, “He’s pretty odd, truthfully. He’s kind, funny and loves fish. Both eating them and studying them. He’s pretty good with Ollie too. He’s certainly…interesting.”

“He’s an odd one, that’s for sure.” Barry agreed, “Though, be careful, Redfield. Sounds like you got a crush.”

Chris sputtered on his water bottle, spitting out the renaming water as he did so, “What? No way. I just met him today! That, and he’s not my type.”

“He’s brown hair, blue eyes. Loves the sea…even if he doesn’t swim in it like Jill loved to.” Barry poked fun, giving a laugh himself, “That’s exactly your type.”

Chris reached up and scratched the back of his neck after setting down his water bottle, scoffing and shaking his head at the older man in dismissal, calling him crazy. Barry proceeded to ask why Leon didn’t like swimming. Chris spun a tail about his parents dying at sea and all that.

Jake merely shook his head, looking back out at the ocean just in time to see a tail fin disappear into the water, making Jake sit up straight and point the flashlight in the direction, watching as something seemed to rise up from under the water, glowing eyes staring back at him.

Kennedy/Redfield Kids Fashion Choices Thread

Violetta 'Violet' Kennedy

(I really need to think of middle names for these kids)

Now we already technically established a fashion sense with Violet but I wanted to go more into depth about her. She's inspired by y2k fashion AND grunge/punk fashion.

Violet is a theater kid but also a huge music fanatic on general. A major fan of musicals and alternative music. Really loves older alt music and metal.

Loves baggy jeans and long skirts because she hates her legs.

Violet has a crochet flower keychain that Cecilia made for her in girl scouts and begged (not really Violet did it willingly) to put it on her bag. She also has a matching heart keychain with Oliver since they're best friends. And I don't want to perpetuate stereotypes of lesbians but she definitely owns a pair of doc martens... With rainbow laces.

Violet tends to wear her hair up a lot when she isn't wearing her beanie. Definitely has a wolf cut and would ask to get her hair dyed black and blue. (She was told no... Not until she was older)

Not super big on hair accessories but likes jewelry. Her grandparents gifted her a purple flower necklace when she was born and she's cherished that thing like it's gold.

Little boy in the sea

@sparkie96 if your reading this, I blame you for dragging my ass into Chreon shipping.

If there’s one thing Chris had seen in his life is that he had seen a lot of things when his on field work with Piers and the rest of Alpha had seen some crazy things in their life.

He had fought and escape the sunken ship of queen Zenobia with Jill.

Had to escape a monster from underground lab with Piers.

And now…

His seeing a floatie of what look like a unicorn…carrying two boys, one is older with short white hair and pale blue eyes. The other boy is younger with reddish brown hair and blue eyes.

They seem to be floating away from the beach they were in and somehow manage to get the BSAA attention in a cruise ship.

Chris turn to Piers who is seeing this as well “Piers, get everyone.”

It didn’t took long for the ship captain to open the bridge for them to catch the two, Chris had to take his button shirt off and khaki shorts to reveal his swim trunks and grab the rope then dive in.

He swam quickly knowing the wind is making the boys further away from the ship and seeing the younger boy clutching onto the unicorn is making him whimper and begging for help while the other one is on verge of wetting himself.

As soon he got to the floatie, both boys nearly let go from the grip but luckily Chris calm them down.

“Hey, hey it’s alright…I’m not going to hurt you..” He reassure them as the older boy nodded and the younger one stutter.

“C-Can you take us back to mommy?”

Chris nodded “yes, I’ll have to asked you two to hold this rope so my men can pull you to the ship.”

The older boy nodded and he gave the rope to him and wrap it tight. Chris wave his hand up to signal Piers and boys to pull them. Chris had to hold on the floatie so the two boys won’t fall off and feeling scarred.

As soon they are close to the bridge, Chris lift himself up then lift the young boy and Piers pick up the older boy. The captain of the ship told his men to stirred back to the port.

Chris comfort the young boy as he mumbles.

“M-Mommy didn’t mean too! He-He went to buy a drink for us! Were sorry...”

The older boy puff his cheek and mumbles “Uncle Dante is a stupid jerk.”

Chris smile and pat the young boy head and replied “Well I know he didn’t mean too, hey come on..don’t cry, how about I treat you two some food?”

The moment they heard food the two were on him with the most adorable puppy eyes that made Chris heart ache seeing it. But first thing first they need to wear something decent since their shorts were wet.

So when he took the two a bath and wore some nice clothes thanks to Claire and Barry wife, Kate shopping. While that happen he even found out their names.

The young boy name is Ollie and older boy name is Nero, both of them are half-brothers. It didn’t took long for them to enjoy the meal they got from the buffet, Ollie is enjoying his veggies with Nero too.

Chris smile and wonder whoever their mom is must have treat them good, but why did Ollie said ‘he’? Could it be that their mom is a male?

Just then the captain inform Chris that they are dropping the anchor since they had finally arrive back at port. So after eating and cleaning up along picking up the two boys trousers they head to the stairs and sees someone frantically worried at waiting area below.

“Mommy!”

The two got out from Chris grip and rush towards to the male with short blonde hair, blue eyes, button shirt and trouser...and has a baby face.

Chris stare at the moment and Claire is shock to see who it is.

“Leon?!”

“Oh hey Claire” Leon look up as he pick up Ollie “I didn’t know your here...”

“Neither do I! How are you!? Also damn I didn’t know you have kids!”

“Ehehe...it’s kinda a funny story.”

He furrowed his brows at the footage in confusion, rewinding them back to Leon rocking Ollie in the chair…but it just jumped back to Ollie sleeping and Chris and Leon laying in bed once more. He looked at the time stamps, watching the time jump from “6:45pm” to “1:53am”. Chris blinked at that, brows furrowed even deeper as he rested his chin in his hand, replaying the footage while also using a program installed on his laptop to scan the footage for any anomalies or intruders…but found nothing.

This couldn’t be right. Sure, cameras glitched or were knocked out by storms or interference…but not for this long and not without warning. There had been no thunderstorms in the area and if there was someone lurking in the area, Chris would have either got an alert earlier on the trail cameras and perimeter alarms…or he would have heard about it. And then there was the drugging that led to him and Leon passing out on Ollie’s floor…

“Chris?” A soft voice called from the door to the office, Chris looking up and seeing Leon leaning against the doorframe, wearing nothing but Chris’s t-shirt, “Are you okay? What are you doing?”

“So…who is this guy?” Moira asked as she, Polly, Elliot, Will, and Natalia sat on the sectional, “And how come we haven’t seen him before?”

“Or heard of him?” Barry added.

Chris stood beside Leon and Ollie, Leon looking around at his surroundings in wonder, curious at the house and its contents. He then looked at Barry and the teenagers and kids, all of whom Leon canted his head at as he looked them all over. Leon then went over to the fish tank sitting between the television and the wall. He made odd chirping sounds and noises, the goldfish in the tank seemingly pausing and turning to listen.

“He’s from out of town.” Chris quickly added, “Maine, so he’s, y’know…” Chris continued, twirling a finger next to his head, “He’s really into fish…but he’s deathly afraid of swimming. Right, Leon?”

Leon turned to look at him, then looked at Barry, “He doesn’t like the flakes. He prefers the pellets that you used to feed him.”

Barry merely blinked at Leon before shaking his head and turning his attention back to Chris, “Seriously, where did you find this guy? There is no way this oddball was related to the same Jill Valentine we knew and loved. How much did you pay him?” Barry then gave him a better look, “…and why does he look eerily familiar?”

“Because Jill showed photos of him before, except he was WAY younger in them than he is now, obviously.” Chris said with a chuckle, “C’mon, Barry, you know Jill had her oddball moments too. That was part of why we all loved her so much.”

Barry scratched his beard and grumbled under his breath, giving a shrug and a “I guess you’re right” before turning to the kids piled onto the couch. He gave them “The Talk” about behaving and “listening to Mr. Leon” while they were all out hunting for the Merman. Leon’s head perked up at that.

“Moira, Elliot. Help him with the little kiddies, got it?” Barry demanded, raising a brow at them, the two eldest teens nodding in confirmation.

With another nod, Barry led the way, DC following behind him as Chris turned to Ollie and Leon. He lifted Ollie into his arms and gave him a hug, Ollie giggling as Chris peppered kisses on his little cheeks, his scruff tickling Ollie’s skin. Leon looked at them, smiling as he came over and hugged Chris after he put the little boy down. This earned a raised brow from Chris along with a chuckle, Chris relenting and hugging him back.

“Behave.” Chris said to them both, more so to Leon than Ollie, “Remember what we talked about…”

“”No Swimming”!” Ollie said.

“No Swimming!” Leon parroted, just as happily.

Chris gave a nod of his own before following the men out to the trucks, piling into the vehicles as they started up. The kids all went over to the window, watching as their Dads and friends took off into the night. Leon did the same, only so he could see what the others were looking at.

“So, uh, why can’t we go swimming?” Will asked as he looked up at Leon.

Leon looked down and blinked at the little boy, “Uh…because I am not a good swimmer.” He lied, “So, uh, no pool!”

“We can swim.” Moira pointed out, motioning between herself and Elliot, “So, what’s the problem?”

“Daddy and Uncle Barry said that Leon is in charge!” Ollie reminded them, “He’s the only adult here, so we have to listen to what he says!”

May I request a Chreon Alpha/Omega fic of Claire and/or Sherry's first time seeing Ollie after he's born?

Leon laid back against the headboard in the hospital bed with a smile. He was exhausted and still achy, but after nine months, it had all been worth it in the end. He watched Chris cradle their pride and joy against his chest, the Alpha still in awe at the little red-head in his arms. Chris looked between Leon and the baby with a watery smile, leaning over and kissing Leon once more before kissing their son on the forehead again. 

After hours of pushing, crying and screaming throughout the night, Oliver Kennedy-Redfield had been born at six-thirty-four this morning, weighing in at seven and a half pounds. He had all ten of his little fingers and all ten of his little toes. Chris had won the bet between them, Leon smiling and reaching over to pet at the soft red-curls on top of the baby’s head. The little baby yawned, unfocused eyes looking up at Chris and looking all around, giving a little smile before dozing off once more. 

“He’s perfect…” Chris whispered, smiling again before looking up at Leon, “You made him perfect.” 

Leon chuckled, “Technically, we did. It takes two to make a baby.” 

“Not always, but…” Chris chuckled, “But yeah, in this case.” 

“Yeah.” Leon simply agreed, watching his mate and son lovingly. 

There had been several sharp knocks on the door, a specific pattern of knocks that only the two of them had recognized. Leon and Chris looked over at the door, watching as it opened. Balloons floated through as Claire peeked her head inside, smiling and waving. She didn’t speak at first, quietly asking if the little baby and Leon were sleeping. As she came inside, Sherry and Jake were right behind her, Jake holding a couple of bags and a teddy bear. 

“We brought breakfast!” Sherry exclaimed happily, but then shushed herself, remembering the newborn, “We brought breakfast!” she repeated, this time in a whisper. 

“And presents.” Claire added, pulling up a chair to the other side of Leon’s hospital bed, “How are you all holding up?” 

Leon smiled, “We’re alright.” He said, watching as they all sat beside the bed while Sherry sat on the foot of the bed. 

Chris and Leon exchanged looks, Leon giving a nod, silent permission for Chris to let someone hold their baby. Chris stood, leaning over the bed slightly and holding Ollie out, asking who wanted to hold the newest addition to their family first. Sherry and Claire looked to the other, Jake setting down the bags and informing them that he needed to eat breakfast before he could be trusted to hold a baby. Sherry looked to Claire, letting her hold the baby first. 

“I would like to hold my nephew, please.” Claire said with a smile, accepting the baby, “I can’t wait to spoil the shit out of him. I’m also planning on being the Fun Aunt that will also simultaneously embarrass you.”  

Chris groaned and put his head in his hand, shaking his head with a chuckle as he sat back in his seat, “Is this revenge for being the “Embarrassing Big Brother” for all those years?” 

Claire chuckled as well, sitting back down with Ollie in her arms, “Yup! And for making all those stupid ass jokes, teasing me in front of dates, scaring off said dates…” She listed off the top of her head. 

Chris sighed deeply, shaking his head at his little sister, but chuckling once more. He did deserve all the “bullying” and teasing, but he also had to thank her, because if it wasn’t for her, he wouldn’t have known Leon’s feelings for him, and then Ollie wouldn’t exist. He kind of owed her in a way.

But that was Claire, always looking out for her big brother. 

“He’s so tiny.” Claire chuckled, rocking Ollie in her arms slightly, “He’s got Leon’s forehead.” 

Now it was Leon’s turn to pout at his best friend, “What is that supposed to mean, Shit Bird?”

how was Ollie between Jackson? Are they good along sibling like Chris and Claire? 😄

They get along pretty well. In one AU, where Ollie and Jax are only a couple months apart and Jax is adopted, they act like your typical baby siblings: happy, giggly, and sometimes troublemakers. They sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and Chris and Leon can hear them babbling and giggling at one another on the baby monitor. They always get into things and make life interesting for their parents.

In another AU, Ollie is the big brother and loves his baby brother. He plays with him and is protective, though, sometimes he forgets Jax is just a baby and can’t do the same things or eat the same things as him. But he does help his Papa and Daddy take care of him.

Little Ollie finds tiny tsum tsum in his backyard and often feeds them

“Interesting…” Vergil said as he examined the little potato looking creature in his hand, “It seems as though you may have accidentally stumbled upon interdimensional creatures from another world.” 

Leon and Chris had brought Ollie and Nero to Vergil’s shop along with some interesting creatures Ollie had found in the backlot of Devil May Cry while with Nero. They had used Munchie’s pet carrier to transport said creatures, which were odd yet familiar looking. The creatures, or beings in question, were roughly the size of russet potatoes and even had the same shape. Their faces looked like Leon and Chris, but a lot younger. Almost like their RPD/STARS years. They even wore the little vests and gear. Their limbs were more like stubs and they didn’t really speak. They mostly made noises, like squeaks. 

“Tsum!” The Chris look-alike squeaked up at Vergil as Vergil held the Leon look-alike, bouncing as high as he could with his little legs and arms, eyes angry looking. 

“So…” Leon began, gently picking up the Chris look-alike, “...what do we do with them?” 

Vergil set the Leon “Bean” down, the Chris Bean jumping out of Leon’s hands and going over to his companion, nuzzling the other, “I could keep them here until I figure out where they came from exactly. Or, you can take them home with you and I’ll investigate in the meantime.” 

Leon and Chris exchanged unsure looks before Ollie cut-in, “Can we take them home, Mama?” Ollie asked sweetly, “I promise I’ll take care of them.” 

“Ollie, bud,” Nero chimed in, lifting his half-brother into his arms, “We don’t even know what they are. How are we gonna take care of them?” 

“They like ham!” Ollie protested, “And goldfish!” 

With a sigh, Chris looked to the potato sized critters, noticing that they were looking up at attention at the sound of “Ham” and “Goldfish”, “...I guess taking them home wouldn’t hurt. They probably eat the same things we do.” 

“Are you sure?” Leon questioned, “We don’t know what they are.” 

“True, but if they were hostile, they would have done something in the parking lot.” Chris pointed out, “We’ll keep an eye on them while Vergil does his thing.” _____________________________________
