gonna have to look up all the blight planets after finishing this book, to check which ones are from legends because trials talks about how they're worlds where the blight’s ‘hunger could be satiated’, which makes me think they're all particularly force-rich worlds and the ones with legends counterparts either have a ~modern force tradition~ or were maybe infinite empire planets (/could be potential places of force vergences & world between worlds gates). might have to work it into my little theory that force-lightning kills midi-chlorians & nomi sunrider's wall of light that sundered ulic from the force is the same process but from a ‘light side' perspective, since the blight does literally eat the force out of a place (10 points to my theory that, if the rakatan plague also still exists in current canon, it was caused by the shrikarai, like the tolemites).

(also planet x could possibly be a great origin planet for the ysalamiri since it's a giant smorgasbord of force power & the safest prey species would be one that could nameless-lite affect the force in a given area).

POSSIBLE mortis mention with the nameless recalling figures of light, unless those are the tolemites visiting (after-note: or it's the ethereal nameless that reside in their special place with their eggs; there are three of them. i am still seeing the mortis parallels w/ them & planet x even more now. DEFINITELY seeing the mortis parallels with the dark/light ‘halves’ of planet x—the above-ground and below-ground—and avar & elzar's fates, keeping the planet in balance until there are enough shrikarai to do the job, which is apparently their job because the vergence there is both light and dark and containing the blight)

i can see the version of the high republic where they followed through on the chiss!marchion ro concept and it could have been cool. also: high-key glad sidious never knew the connection between the nameless and the blight or else operation: cinder could've gone a whole different, much worse way if he could pull an ‘if i can't have it, no one can' with the force itself.

the world on the other side of the portal is giving me flashbacks to abeloth’s planet in a way that i do NOT need, with production of ahsoka season 2 ramping up. it's already enough what they're doing with thrawn, we don't need the thing that freaked the dathmiri out so much they needed to leave peridea to be some sort of abeloth/evil mother goddess analogue, tho i worry about it because the pieces are all there: the use of ‘mother’ as a title, baylan searching for something that would upset the supposed light/dark cycle of the universe, the destruction of the statues of the mortis trio (not just from time because otherwise that outstretched hand baylan skoll ends the season standing on would have been the first thing to fall off).

So, Doctor Who has started again and while it's taken a few weeks to get my head into it, and given how this series seems to be almost intentionally putting in parallels to the previous season, I wanted to just write out my theories for the upcoming episodes

NOTE: At the point of writing, the last released episode was 2.03 The Well. Any spoilers for episodes 4 - 8 are guessed based off the way the series is going, trailers, a radio times article, and the episode 4 next time preview. I know there have been leaks, I haven't read them

Episode one - A space adventure where a seeming AI system is actually a person

(Ruby is obviously introduced in the Christmas special, but if we take the parallels between her and Belinda's introductions, we have both being followed by the Doctor prior to him actual introducing himself. Both have their intro episode focused around a location with the same name as them, both have some part of their past being investigated by the Doctor and seemingly tying into what will be the finale)

Episode two - A modern history episode with a member of the pantheon of discord is the main villain. The villain is themed around a form of creative entertainment and is defeated by someone other than the Doctor and his companion.

Episode three - A more serious adventure set on an unpopulated planet with soldiers as most of the supporting cast with one civilian character. The companion is nearly killed when shot. Based around a threat that triggers when stood in a particular place

Predictions:

Episode four - A Ruby focused Doctor-lite episode set in the modern day where Ruby is followed by the episode's threat

Episode five - An episode with a theme of racism with a large creepy crawly as the monster

Episode Six - a more silly/campy episode based around a pop culture thing. If there's any episode for Jonathan Groff to return or the Doctor to get quickly engaged to another actor famous for singing, it's this one.

Episode Seven & Eight - A two part finale starting on modern day earth but leaving when it's destroyed. The villain is a returning villain now associated with the pantheon of discord.

I don't really like to bring it up on tumblr because if I even skirt near the topic I tend to get hate for it. However I was recently discussing it on forums and people have been interested in the topic; so I'll bring the topic here never the less.

Fairly short but still lengthy by tumblr standards rant about LGBTQIA+ communities as a NB/Genderfluid individual who doesn't feel safe in a lot of LGBTQIA+ spaces as someone amab who doesn't identify the way I can present. It's a whole thing, but regardless.

I cannot stress enough that the major reason some people know me as Non-Binary and others know me as Genderfluid, is largely in part due to the way the LGBTQIA+ "community" and people have treated me as a Genderfluid individual versus a Non-Binary individual despite them effectively meaning the same thing.

Put really simply, when a lot of LGBTQIA+ people say "Women" they have a very clear idea of what that means. It typically (though obviously not always) means "cis women, or trans women who either pass, or are okay with me sexualizing them." If you bring this up you're often ostracized and silenced. If you say you're Genderfluid but you're amab and in any way masc but not "butch" you're never seen as a woman unless specifically sexualized. I've received DMs completely unprompted from individuals in LGBTQIA+ communities I'm a part of, who outright start conversation with sexual harassment and when I tell them I'd rather they not speak to me like that for XYZ reason they tend to respond in one of two ways.

Either they outright cut communication with me entirely and become hostile if I attempt to communicate in public conversations they're a part of. Or they hit me with the "oh I didn't mean anything by it that's just how I talk to all transgirls I thought you'd get it, don't make a big deal out of it." Which further splits into them essentially saying "let me keep sexually harassing you" or "guess you're not a woman."

I noticed when I stopped using "Genderfluid" and stopped speaking on being a woman around other transwomen I felt safer. I'm not allowed to say this because apparently saying I've had a history of sexual harassment and issue with transwomen treating me like this; is somehow equivalent to saying I think every transwoman is like this, which I don't, that logic is absurd, people are individuals they can't be generalized by a common trait like being trans that's dumb. I cannot stress enough that I'm in no way trying to draw parallel between being a transwoman and sexually harassing other transwomen; I'm merely stating the fact that it's happened to me on numerous occasions, across multiple years; and multiple communities of people despite no prompting from me. If anyone wants to make the claim that I'm somehow provoking this; consider that the only thing being declared in these contexts is that I'm in fact a trans individual who occasionally identifies as a woman that's literally the extent of that before I go off talking about whatever interests we're discussing as a community. Those interests typically being about music, games, tv shows, whatever.

That aforementioned safety however comes at the expense of my identity, as by calling me Non-Binary people view me as "man lite" rather than you know, literally just not fitting the binary. I'm still referred to as "He/Him" and on very slight occasion I get "They/Them" which is my preferred. I've noticed that I literally haven't heard a single individual refer to me as "She/Her" once in the past year outside a very specific circle of friends who I still use "Genderfluid" around.

It's worth noting that the group in question isn't even specifically an LGBTQIA+ group, they're cis individuals some few of which are gay/bi/pan. However when they asked me about my pronouns upon hearing I was genderfluid I told them "anything is fine" and they've made a point of using something different every so often and switching between them depending on how they hear me refer to myself.

I also need to mention here that the group in question are a community of individuals centered around the creation, circulation; and expression of NSFW media and art. The topics being discussed by this community are almost exclusively about NSFW media (though we do talk about other stuff sometimes, we spent hours in a group chat watching entire anime series and streams at one point but I digress...) I have never once gotten a DM, or public solicitation in the form of sexual harassment from this group of individuals. The CLOSEST anyone has ever come was linking me some NSFW media they thought I would enjoy based off a conversation we had previously, and when I say that DM literally started by essentially saying "I don't mean anything by this, I saw this and thought you'd enjoy it, it's NSFW so I've tagged it with a spoiler for you." Like, it was the most respectful way to drop NSFW in someone's DMs without having ever spoke to them in DMs previously lol. Like you somehow have a group of probably about 30-ish people who fully understand that I'm a genderfluid trans individual, who's happily married and not looking for that kind of attention; and is just here because I too enjoy discussion on the topics at hand.

I genuinely wish I could find a group of individuals I felt like I fit in with outside of my small group of close friends I've known for like a decade now. Not to say they're not great friends or anything, because I love those guys to death; but the funny thing is they're not the group mentioned above. My struggle with identity has been such a fucking ride because even when I've accepted myself I feel like there are few around me who will ever see me as I feel I am, and accept me in spite of how I can outwardly project as (typically masc presenting).

So a big part of my identity now is just how it is because it feels easier and safe to be like this for the sake of others (mostly others in LGBTQIA+ spaces) than having anything to do with how I actually identify and man if that doesn't make me a little cynical sometimes. Though I do my best to not be a cynical bitch because I will live and die by the philosophy that every individual is their own person, and not part of a collective. In other words there's no logical way to generalize information about any grouping of individual based on past experience because doing so ignores the individualism of each active participant. Which simply can't be allowed to happen, not if we wish to avoid being narrow minded and full of hate for people we don't even know based solely on their shared similar traits to others who may have wronged us. That's no way to go through life, it's no way to treat your fellow humanity, and it's not how I wish to think of people. I stand firm in my belief that I've merely encountered the "bad eggs" if you will, but I also do believe there is some form of correlation between how I've encountered these bad actors in the same sort of spaces.

It doesn't feel far fetched to me that if a space is made and intended for use specifically by LGBTQIA+ individuals, that it may in fact attract a specific kind of userbase, as any time I've joined one of these spaces I've had at least 1 (often at least 2) encounters like this. Yet I know plenty of trans individuals whether transwoman, transman, or you know non-binary, and even other members of the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, who have NOT treated me this way. Which I typically meet coincidentally through chance encounter rather than within these "LGBTQIA+ spaces/communities" and for what it's worth. I think the exploration of sexuality within trans individuals is not only and important aspect of self discovery and coming into your own, but it's just healthy man. I don't think however, that it should be forced on "all transwomen you speak to" when I'm told that the way people speak to "all transwomen they know" is essentially just sexual harassment I believe there needs to be some kind of change in the way that individual approaches others, for the sake of respecting others who show no sign of want for that behavior.

I'm half hoping the Hells run into some devout kryn, because it'd be interesting to see them deal with the parallels with the predathos followers of "all the gods are shit except this thing" and the doomsday goal where they could destroy the planet like mercer pointed out. Not to mention their method of lite immortality and reincarnation into people's children running against Ludinus's deal.

talking about the luxon is hard because my thoughts on it are wreathed in layers of meta like nothin else.... let's just say first off we're definitely getting that pov, as the kryn have aeor encircled (as we know from both the c2 aeor arc/frida & deanna during the c3 molaesmyr arc), and the discovery of ashton would be.... heresy? ascension? to them.

i think the luxon, in all its parralels to predathos and its domain of space & time, is kind of.... the answer to all this? the kryn are incorrect in their belief that the luxon was discovered by them, but i dont think theyre wrong about it in other ways. frankly i, someone who people think is a god hater for my analysis of the pantheon's actions, trust it. it has been used & abused throughout history whilst not even fully formed. where the pantheon & betrayers have had entire lives to make choices the luxon is a fetus who has been able to make none. as we understand it, it came to exandria because it was lonely and hungry to learn, to experience, to feel. it allegedly started life on exandria as folk worry predathos will end it. i presently think predathos & the luxon are both ancient, cosmic entities of higher power than the exandrian gods; one has lived and been beaten like an animal. one has seen eons of mortal history through an egg sac lens.

i think the kryn they can be extreme in how they wish others to join their faith, and i dont know how much of that counts as (for lack of a very non christian word) evangelizing; though ill say notably they ask others and try to win faith through mighty feats, over bulldozing & building temples with brute strength as vasselheim does. and frankly, while both wish for their cosmic entity to be free, the kryn certainly arent on the vanguard's levels; they want to understand the luxon and nurture it til it's ready to Become. the vanguard wishes for predathos to Wake and will rend the universe apart to watch it Devour. i think it is worth noting how beaten xhorhas is by wynandir; the society headed by a man who wants predathos freed does not sympathize with the luxon but despises it for being seen as a person and abuses it himself. ludinus, i think, sees predathos as a caged beast he can use or at least watch burn his worst enemies, and the luxon as a younger kind of it to force into service. the kryn see the luxon as a person-to-be like them. and maybe thats the key. understanding that even this galactic entity should feel care & grief & love right beside mortals. as if it's their child, even if they're by all means a parent to every living thing. as if it's one of Us. i think the real question i have isnt necessarily about the kryn parralels to the vanguard now, but rather the parralels in how they treat predathos when they learn of it; will they see it as alive and as worthy of care as the luxon? as well as the parralels of what actions the luxon will take compared to predathos; because i think, as predathos rages, the luxon will choose love.

Witchy Timez: Origins

Part Five & the art-style so good it's supernatural

Welp I finally got to playing Origins a while back. Finished it a week or two ago. I wanted to add it to my other Bayonetta rambles (listed at the end) but I wasn't sure what to add really.

I found the game good and very pretty. It's art-style is genuinely it's greatest asset. They wanted to portray it like it was a storybook and they did it so well that it's hard to put into words.

Gameplay was fine too. I had a few personal issues at most.

Game-Play(ed)

My biggest complaint was the lack of a mini-map. I felt the game needed one badly. I was opening the menus to view the map every few minutes and got lost more than once.

Which, yes, is a bit funny because the purpose of the Avalon Forest is to be a maze but it can leave you frustrated if you plan to track down all the items and Wisps.

My second issue was a very personal and nitpicky one. I didn't like Cheshire's forms by the end of the game. It got a tad annoying to swap repeatedly when I'm having to control both he and Cereza at once.

Had I no experience with TWEWY in my youth I imagine I'd be even more annoyed with the set up there. That said, I do like the abilities so rather than forms I wish Cheshire had abilities rather than forms.

Something to streamline the annoyance of color-coded enemies regardless of how lite they are used.

Hell, I wouldn't even have this complaint at all if I had free access to unbound Cheshire after you complete the game. His unbound form is what I would prefer in this situation.

They'd have to nerf it compared to the unbound form naturally but it would be a welcome idea....watch someone comment that you can unlock unbound Cheshire as soon as I post this.

Dat Story

I don't even know what to say on a base level here. The story was solid given what we've seen of young Cereza in Bayonetta 1. Watching her befriend a newborn demon is cute even if their squabble arc could be seen a mile ahead.

It also makes you genuinely curious about the fairies as a facet of the Bayonetta universe. Several things in this game make you more curious about the Bayo-verse in fact.

Such as Prince Lukaon, Morgana, and the whole unseen backstory of the fairy kings. The whole nature of the mischievous creatures is fascinating and they offer an odd parallel to humanity.

Hell, let's just dive into the broader strokes of that multiverse.

The magical & non-magical

As we learned in Bayonetta 1 & 2, humanity itself is weak. They lack magic and die easily. They only gained a semblance of power through Aesir's mercy but even then they couldn't do much.

The whole reason Lumen Sages & Umbra Witches form pacts with Heaven & Hell is to gain power. Their magic is tied to that and their soul is the cost they pay.

But like I mentioned in a previous post, the world of chaos is fittingly full of parallel timelines and pocket dimensions because it is, by definition, without solid order.

There is a future for every human there is to shape that future. Purgatory itself only exists as a pocket space between Chaos, Heaven, and Hell.

However, as if to exist in counterbalance, Chaos does have it's own form of magical being, the Fae. We don't know where they came from nor do we know which timeline they hide in.

Going by Bayo 3 and Origins they seem to pick specific worlds to hide in implying they have a means to jump them. It's possible that Avalon Forest itself branches into more than one world given how it feels as if it's a world unto itself when you play Origins.

Vast enough to have warring kingdoms and kings. Countries hidden in illusions. It's all very fascinating stuff and I find myself hoping to see more of it....well with caveats.

Baoynetta 3's Shadow

You know I would have to bring it up when it's shown that this Cereza is the younger version of Bayo 3. If you complete the Jeanne chapter you even see ol' Singularity himself. We also see that this Jeanne is the one that'll die in the third game.

This...did not sit right with me. Many others praise this reveal because they feel it fixed some of Bayonetta 3's story but I had the opposite impression. It felt like patch work, a band-aid.

Just like Bayo 3 it also opens up other cans of multiverse worms. Such as Prince Lukaon and his relationship with King Lukaon and every version of Luka to exist ever.

How can the king of Fae be Luka's variant if the prince Lukaon died? There's several ways theorize theorize that question of course but it's the question existing at all that kind annoys me.

Is Luka the prince's reincarnation? The game does make a note to point out the unknown destination of fairies when they die. Is King Lukaon a version of the prince that lived to adulthood? Probably.

Then there's the question of this backstory. The extra chapter makes it explicit that this is bayonetta 3 Cereza as she's referred to by the 3rd games villain via the name "Arch-Eve Origin".

Yet, the issue of Bayo 3's ending splitting the previous titles crops up. Sure, we know that young Cereza in Bayo 1, this Cereza from Origins, and the Bayo 3 Cereza are the same person.

But what about Cheshire? Why does Viola have Cheshire when it's made clear she's not this specific Cereza's daughter. Does Cheshire have variants due to being a young demon or is he just a single demon that's partial to Bayonetta in all forms due to his experiences?

Hell, does this backstory also apply to the Cereza of Bayo 1 & 2? Does it apply to even more such as Beta Cereza (viola's mother)?

From what I can tell the devs are being smart enough not to clarify but I do think this makes Bayo 3 messier in ways. It doesn't harm this games story or fun to me.

These questions only really pop up if you've played Bayo 3 and the Jeanne chapter....

THEN THERE WAS THE FUCKING EYES

I was trying to ignore it but I can't. I had a whole separate post for these eyes because it's a personal irk of mine. Do they still exist? Don't they?!

Sure, this is in the past. We saw Baldur regain his right eye once he was thrown back to his proper time but that just amplifies the headache!

On the one hand, her having the eye still explains how she defeated a fully matured witch BUT ON THE OTHER WHY IS IT STILL HERE?

To hell with arch-eve's. If the eyes still exist then Singularity is a fucking fool for not trying to claim them. Arch-Eve's & Adams may be a way to collapse the timelines but by hell the eyes are the objects of a god.

Conclusion

All in all a good game. Love the art-style, love little Cereza's story, I even love how the game goes from this new thing to full on Bayonetta in the final battle.

You can quite literally feel the shift from beating up fairies to kicking a witches ass as soon as Cereza says her iconic "let's dance" line.

It's just the minor things that annoyed me at worst. No mini-map, lite color-coded enemies, all the multiverse sh*t t hey snuck in with Jeanne's chapter.

As with any Bayo game it's very good as is. It's only someone like me who'd be bothered by what's mentioned. Not for story consistency so much as character consistency.

Action game stories tend to be less serious and more setting so any time you see someone mad at a Bayonetta or Devil May Cry type of game it's usually because it's really bad to play or a character was just did wrong.

My own interpretation

Well, this one is very difficult to interpret. But here's what I think: While the main thing i'm getting is toxicity, it could also be two heavily traumatized individuals. There's many feelings of "Needing to get away before they hurt me" from one side (your side, if i need to guess) and "I don't want them to leave me because they're everything i have" from the other part (again, if i have to guess, from L's part). There could have been many secrets from the "Needing to get away before they hurt me" side (weather that was you or not), if we are talking about some fictional source, i'd guess this character would be some sort of monster, scared of themself and scared to hurt others, therefore keeping their distance. This is mostly my guess, you may interpret it as you will.

There's many angst in most of your relationships i see. This one isn't as hard to interpret, but here's my thoughts: The hard thing about this shufflemancy is too interpret it from the view of a relationship. We could think about it in three ways; both of you felt this way, one of you felt this way, or, the line "I only have two real friends" is about S being one of them and this is how you felt or viceversa. If we interpret it as a feeling in the relationship (i'm aware non of them were romantic, i just find it easier to call them "relationships"), there could've been many feelings of worthlessness, frustration, angryness/rage and maybe even depression, weather this is from both parts or only one. My own interpretation

You mentioned non of your relationships were romantic, wich is why it's interesting getting this song. My own interpretation goes around strong feelings of love, even if it wasn't entirely romantic, but also confusion, in the song there's moments were the singer avoids "confirming" the other person has this feelings, wich mixed with the other songs you got, could be due to insecurity, worthlessness, depression or trauma. This song feels as if you really wanted to accept this feelings from M, but another part of you, preffers not to. Retaking my "one of them was a monster" guess, it could be because of that, the feeling of not wanting to hurt the other individual, however, again, this is my own interpretation and you may have another interpretation in mind.

mystic pop-up bar is about a cursed immortal female lead who runs a pop-up bar and is trying to resolve human being's grudges/grant their wishes by teaming up with a former ghost cop and a regular guy (or is he?) that has a special power of his own

goblin is about a girl who finds out she was destined to be the "goblin's bride" and bring about the death of an immortal cursed general who has been looking for a way to die for several centuries at this point. some wishes/genie-esque dynamics

angel's last mission: love. female lead is a cold, bitter former ballerina who has closed herself off from the world. male lead is her actual guardian angel. not one of my absolute favorites, but i liked the interesting dynamic and the OST is beyond gorgeouuuus

i did not like this drama that much but doom at your service might scratch this itch as well. the female lead is dying from cancer. the male lead is the actual manifestation of doom. would have been SO GOOD if it cut out the subplot and streamlined things a bit more

love and redemption. girl meets boy. boy is in a martial arts sect forbidden to love or marry. girl doesn't understand feelings and is in fact the reincarnated god of war. girl has also sort of killed boy for 9 lifetimes prior to this. boy keeps coming back for more because he thrives on masochism and costume changes. one of my top 3 favorite dramas

goodbye my princess is like someone had all the fairy tale tropes (rebellious princess, meeting while disguised, magical rivers) and then sort of took them in the backyard and shot them. lmao if you want it tragic, go here

Sci fi, and let me break down my response to your teacher's points:

1: It has magic, mythical creatures: Yes, and they almost always have a science fiction explanation. Medusa? Well, that's drawn from the mind of a man who has been plugged into a machine. Demons? They're actually just an alien species that travelled to Earth. Gods? Aliens from outside this dimension. Or possibly Time Lords that survived the collapse of the previous universe.

Reversing the polarity isn't the only part of the show's technobabble, and the issue with having a character from a five-dimensional species which has technology so advanced from ours is that advanced technology does blur the lines between magic and reality, at least from our perspective. Try to imagine explaining the computer (or phone, or tablet) you're reading this on to a medieval peasant.

2: It's about a central character's journey and doesn't parallel problems in our society: Not true, and not true.

The Doctor may be the title character and the first one in the credits, but we see the show through the companions eyes in almost all episodes. The Doctor isn't even the first character we're introduced to. In 1963 that was Barbara and Ian, in 2005 that was Rose. Especially in the Hartnell era, the Doctor doesn't even fully seem like a protagonist. He starts to become more of one during Troughton's era, but this isn't finalised until Pertwee's.

There are several episodes during Hartnerll's era which are not only Doctor-lite, but Doctor-absent. Only in one serial was that due to Hartnell's health issues. There are very few episodes I can think of which are companion-absent. One of them is also Doctor-absent. (those episodes are Mission to the Unknown/Dalek Cutaway (Hartnell, Doctor-absent), The Deadly Assassin pt 1-4 (Tom Baker), and Heaven Sent (Capaldi)). Also, by this logic, if sci-fi focuses on a character it's not sci-fi. Are you saying that Star Trek: Picard is fantasy, just because it focuses on Picard's journey and not a whole crew?

As for the second point, this is just laughably false. Doctor who frequently parallels problems in our society. There are episodes about climate change in the seventies. The Daleks are space-Nazis after a nuclear war mutated them. The Cybermen were created to criticise communism. There's a whole episode about Margaret Thatcher. Time Lord society is basically what you get if you take all the worst parts of British high society, mix in a huge dollop of alien technology, and top it off with a Caste system, some robes, and large collars. I mean, they refer to other species as 'lesser species' for fuck's sake, how close to 'lesser races' can you get?

I had a discussion in school on whether Doctor Who was considered sci-fi or fantasy. It’s always been called sci-fi, but my English teacher was hard pressed about it being fantasy.

I think it could be a combo of both, but he was very sure it was just fantasy.

Everyone seems to have different opinions on how to define the two. My teacher was arguing for fantasy because there’s magic, mythical creatures and it’s an about one central character’s journey (often the basis of fantasy adventures) whereas sci-fi is typically used as a vessel to parallel problems in our society.

Although Doctor Who has been known as sci-fi to me, I did understand his argument and have been a bit hyper focused when watching it since then, trying to figure out which one it leans towards. Although they attempt to explain everything through “reversing the polarity” that science doesn’t sound like it could be real- but could be considered fantasy.

his entire gaming set up is pretty much like streamer you see on tweetch with lights typically adjusted to a cool tone (teal and purple) in the background with his camera pointed at him in his gaming chair. he likes to keep fanart either gifted or commission in the background for people to see and he changes it every so often to showcase his fans’ work because he just really appreciates it.

but there is one in particular that he keep up the entire time and that is a piece of him and you with your guys’ back turned, a silhouette against a blueish pink sky (a birthday present courtesy of albedo). it’s not too flashy or cartoony but it is large, taking up over half of the wall space in height and his arm span in width.

in the back xiao also has a long table drawer with presents sent to him that he thinks fit with the aesthetic of the room. there’s a stand for collectable spears from genshin (with a primordial jade winged spear and staff of homa because why not) as well as a ps5 he never uses. more gaming consoles are displayed as well and you can bet that nothing is dusty or dirty despite being exposed and out of boxes. he has one acnl nintendo switch (because it was supposed to be for you but you were gifted one so now you guys can match) and another teal switch lite because childe has no mora boundaries.

but when you move up to his hair and face? please.

his hair is up with a clip or in a little bun to keep out of his face. you can see all his teal hair peeking out from the bottom more so this way. you bought him clips to keep the stray strands in place as well and he color coordinates them if there’s something to match on his clothes or room ambience.

changes his piercings a lot. he’d seem like the type to get piercings but just on his ears. he has three lobe piercings, a double helix, and a tragus on his left ear. xiao likes to wear black or silver earrings depending on the lighting. they are most apparent when his hair is up and out of the way of course.

Revision + Living in the End: Why Understanding ‘Complete Creation’/Non-Linear Time is Crucial

‘Living in the End’ is a major cornerstone of Law of Assumption work, but one that can often bring up internal logic blocks because it doesn’t seem fully rational. ‘Living in the End’ is an approach to Quantum Jumping, and the way I approach it is that my ‘future‘ self exists in space time somewhere; I locate my future self via details of her experience of being and then ‘anchor’ myself to her by thinking what she thinks, wearing what she wears, doing what she does etc.

Of course a main component of LitE as far as Law of Assumption goes is understanding that you ARE your future self who has already received their desire.

But for many that can feel challenging as you don’t perceive your fulfilled wish in the present moment. So how can you believe?

I have found over the years that in situations where logic is resistant to suspension it is useful to bribe it with a bit of ‘making sense‘. To this end, it can be useful to internalize the idea that everything to ever be or happen is already here, and exists in the eternal, infinite universe.

Given that time is just one big uniform moment with many things happening in it, there is NO ‘time‘ or actual separation between ‘you before manifesting your desire‘ and ‘you after manifesting your desire‘. Fundamentally you, right now, are in the moment where your manifested desire has come to pass.

To this end I also tend to use 5D instead of 4D. The 4th dimension is time, but the 5th dimension is all possible timelines. So 4D may include the entirety of your life as you perceive it starting and ending now, but 5D contains every possible parallel permutation of your life. Given that creation is complete, then all possible lives you could ‘live‘ (aka experience in a linear fashion as ‘you’) have to ALL exist.

So when you do this work, you could say you’re hopping to alternate lifetimes esp if it seems ‘unlikely’ that your desire could quickly manifest in your life as you see it now. That may or may  not be true, but regardless if you think so it’s always an option to just ‘anchor’ yourself to the you in another 5D timeline then!

This is also how revision makes more sense. Your entire reality can be subtly or even drastically rewritten, retroactively changed etc when you revise. But how? Because when you revise, you align with yourself in another timeline where whatever it was did/didn’t happen.
