YALL!! I’ve had THE CRAZIEST experiences lately with being a “pretty girl”. • • I literally spent most my life with GORGEOUS best friends that would cause men and women alike to LITERALLY ignore me. • • I would stand there invisible as my beautiful friends get asked their life story and no one even would ask my name. • • So I got used to it. I became an observer and that was fine by me. I hated myself so much by that point that I was too numb to fully care by the end of my single years anyways. • • But now? 70+ pounds down and confidence ta boot and it’s like all of a sudden I’ve emerged from the ether for the very first time. • • I’ve now been the pretty girl at parties/clubs/bars that people get nervous to talk to. I get stared at. I get hit on. I get complimented more than I EVER have. • • and yet it all feels so foreign and weird to me. Like I don’t know how to be a pretty girl. Lol • • But you know what it’s shown me? Peoples opinions of us are SO TRIVIAL GUYS. SO FLEETING.
