Sasha: "Grime, what do you think it'd be like if I was a toad like you?"

Grime: "If you were a toad, you'd be the second cutest toad I've ever seen, Lieutenant."

Sasha: "Aww, Grimsey, you old--wait a minute...'second cutest'?"

Grime: "Yes, that is what I said."

Sasha: "Then, who's the first cutest toad?"

Grime: "Percy."

Sasha: "Oh!...yeah, I-I can't really argue with that, he's adorable."

Grime: "Right?"

Braddock meanwhile gives a soft yet threatening warning about staying away from her toad. She agrees that Percy is cute but for them, that's as far as it should go.

Can we see Braddock and Percy taking care of baby Sasha?

Most people would describe Sasha as a little terror... But once you got past the insecurities, discomfort, and the megalomania, she's a wonderful, loyal and protective kid.

I am going to be writing a fic called "Anne the Witch", in which Anne meets Maddie before Sprig and things change forever. Anne now lives in the woods, becoming a powerful witch.

The thing is... this fic could have a very different cast of MCs than canon. But I can't decide if I want a wholly unique group, or to stick with the classics.

So I am hosting a new poll! READ ALL THE TEXT BEFORE VOTING.

Would you rather the main group of characters for the fic be

A.) Anne, Maddie, Sasha, Marcy, Sprig, Polly, Hop-Pop

Or

B.) Anne, Maddie, Sasha, Marcy, Wally, Percy, Braddock

This will not decide if the Plantars exist or not. They will be MAJOR characters no matter what. But this would decide if they are a part of the core "Crew". I like writing unique groups of MCs. An example includes in my fic "Their's, and No One Else's", where the main heroes were Anne, The Core, and Yunan.

This really comes down to one question:

Just read the newest chapter and it was pretty great! Will the citizens of Bittyburg make a return in a later part of the series? Also, in Barrel's Warhammer, will Anne also end up doing something selfish that will cause Percy and Braddock to leave?

Percy and Braddock have been replaced by the OCs, Staple and Wright. They were introduced in Chapter 9, and appeared again in Chapter 15.

The reason for the change was that I didn't want to use the same characters as canon because Percy and Braddock were made to be Canon!Sasha's foil, and not Anne's. So I don't believe it'll fit as well.

(Also, Percy and Braddock are kinda characters I don't care about and the show doesn't care about them either so they're in this weird position of never mattering, so yeah...)

Back to the OCs!

Staple is a meek, somewhat weak and goody kinda character. He follows orders around, doesn't like to fight and is the least "toad" you'll ever meet. Originally a florist, he only joined Toad Tower because of his sister, who he now has an estranged relationship with. However, Staple is a dependable type and understands her well. He's the reason Captain Grime can get along with Anne to begin with, telling him to be more aware of her emotional needs (which also caused Anne's rift from Sasha, so bummer). All in all, Staple is someone Anne can get soft to and speak on an emotional level.

Then there's Wright. Wright is a tough and somewhat cruel toad. Yet, he's disciplined, patriotic and a hardass at times. Wright has a rose-tinted view of Toad Tower, having looked up to it his entire life, and joining it only made the glasses even more tinted. Because of that, he follows protocol to a tee, knowns toad history and loves weapons. Wright came from a family of carpenters and joined the tower because he didn't want to spend the rest of his days making furniture. He can be tough on Anne and at times, he actually doesn't like her but he's straightforward and a genuine friend. Unlike Sasha, Wright doesn't lie.

Staple and Wright will reappear in SATF Season 2. However, not immediately. Anne's first reappearance will have only Grime as a partner because due to the fall of Toad Tower, every other toad has been reinstated at a different tower until further notice. That includes Staple and Wright. Anne isn't included because she was never officially a member of Toad Tower, seeing that her lieutenant status is mostly just a way for Grime to watch over her. But I'm planning on including more chapters for Anne and Grime, along with new locales, so they'll reappear for sure. They will be there during the events of Barrel's Warhammer and surprisingly enough, NO, THEY WON'T LEAVE.

Percy and Braddock leaving was to show that Sasha went a bit too far. Anne's not gonna have the same issue. She'll get the hammer and they'll be the ones to help her.

(Also, Staple and Wright are common Earth names based on professions, similar to Smith. I, uh, don't remember what theirs meant.)

As for your other question...

The citizens of Bittyburg will probably reappear in S3. Honestly, I don't care much about them. I was more interested in the Hasselbacks.

Is there ever a chance you could make a comic about Sasha meeting Percy and Braddock again and then the two get proper closure that Sasha’s changed for the better? I am just really want that little itch to be scratched

I’ve been meaning to make that comic, it’s figuring out Percy and Braddock’s time skip design and just how long Sasha apologizes has been the issue. I’ve a solid idea of how and where it happens, I just need to tighten a few of the things up before I can sketch it out
