Danny knows the people he's working for are... shady at best but he needed this job, ever since he left Amity Park after getting into a bad fight with his parents, they wanted him to become a Ghost Hunter (funny how they never really pressured Jazz into it.), he made sure to shut down the portal now since he learned to make portals (and made sure to delete and burn his parents blueprints for it), renounced himself as Ghost King (he really didn't want the responsibility and helped set up a kinda self governing and kinda 'I will come back to help the Realms keep stable but I am NOT ruling' thing)

[Basically Danny is still technically the King, the Realms need him to keep stable (personal head canon the Realms reflect its Ruler, Danny is much more stable than Pariah Dark and thus the Realms are healing and slowly returning to its natural state), but Danny set up a somewhat self governing thing where he can leave but returns very so often to keep the Realms stable and healing. Its complicated but it works.]

AND because his grades tanked hard due to the accident and being a young ghost hero in high school, Danny didn't have a lot of choices for work or even school (he is in college, none of his dream ones though, and is juggling between it and odd jobs here and there)

Anyways so yeah, Danny knows the people he's working for aren't... great. He knows they're shady AF and knows he could maybe find out what if he used his ghost powers but he does need this job for just a bit longer, until his next paycheck that's all.

He also know his new co-worker might be an undercover cop and is investigating them.

Caroline Hill is a nice lady though, even if it was an act to get closer, polite, works hard when paired with him, and very pretty.

So Danny decides to help cover up tiny mistakes or distract their other co-workers/employers when she's snooping around their work areas/offices.

Quick questions!

Who is the easiest Merc for you to draw, and who is the hardest Merc for you to draw?

The easiest was and might still be Scout bc I drew a lot of Lupin III before I got into Tf2 so drawing a twink isn't that foreign to me lmao

I definitely struggled a lot with everyone else bc their faces were so different and very out of my comfort zone lol

I'd say the mercs I still have problems with are Medic and Demo, maybe Spy sometimes, the Supports definitely gave me issues the first few times I tried to draw them it's ugh,,, it was so bad XD

I have never understood a character like I understand Tawan from P10L. Look at him: he’s out there just, living on the beach, making cool jewelry and selling it at a pop up shop that only opens when he feels like it and only sells to people when he likes their vibe. Episode 22 does a great job of highlighting how insecure Faifa actually is.

He has zero reason to believe Wine still likes Tor — Zero reason to think that Wine would go with Tor, and yet the second Tor is introduced Faifa has already decided to give up on everything because how could Wine want him.

Faifa wants Wine to be happy, and how could Wine be truly happy with him.

Fai instantly abandoned his entire plan over a single meeting with Tor.

Poor guy has no self esteem, he just masks really well with forced joy and smiles

scout: it’s an odd call and response. you ask if he likes you, almost offhandedly, and he responds in a similar manner. “you’re like my best friend, man! i wouldn’t know who else to hang out with except you.”

soldier: it’s been a tiring day on the field. but when he sees you, it’s better. the day becomes better. and as he asks you what you’ve done with your day, exhausted and bloody, he smiles, and pats your shoulder. “a good day for you is a good day for all of us!”

pyro: you sit next to pyro in the dark of the night, staring at the sky. there is no moon, there is no light, it is just you both under the infinite expanse of stars. and you feel the brush of a glove against your hand. tentatively, you grab it. there is no motion to look at the other. just a continued watch of the night sky.

demo: you’d gone on one date with demo. if it could even be called that, he got swept away by work pretty quickly. so to see him at your door, dressed in his best casual wear, with a bouquet… it’s a charming apology, you think. so you aren’t prepared for him to say “i love you, and i don’t want to lose you to my job.”

heavy: you just needed to drop something off in his room. you knocked on the door, and he called you in. you don’t know how it devolved into a conversation, you just know you never really got to see heavy so… relaxed. comfortable. when the conversation lulled, you went to make you leave, but he stopped you. “stay a little longer. you’re good company.”

engineer: engie never really lets people go with him places, so to ask is a far shot. but you did. and he went quiet for a moment, looked you over. and decided today, you could. under the terms that you don’t tell anyone what you two do. don’t looked too shocked. he’ll leave without you. “well, come on then!”

medic: you were warned against involving the doctor in nonsense. and you didn’t quite understand, as it seemed he wasn’t one to be so serious, so to catch him in his downtime, still rushing around the infirmary, with one offhand, silly-to-you little question… it stops him in his tracks. his eyes flick to you, and in the moment you gained his focus, you watch him go through an unknown thought process, landing on a mischievous smile almost instantaneously. “i love your thinking.”

sniper: you just needed a minute away from people right now. so as you walked the road, you didn’t think much about the sound of the vehicle behind you until it slowed to a crawl beside you. you turn to look, meeting yellow aviators, and a stoic face. “you’re not walking out in the middle of nowhere. get in the van.”

spy: spy is not what one would call a crisis individual. he’s not the one to contact if you are in a dire emergency and need immediate aid. but you had no one else to turn to. and it, admittedly, did shock you for him to pick up the phone at all. you didn’t have time to explain the situation. you just told him to get to you. and the line remained silent. then a response came through. “i’ll be there shortly.”
