The Muppets in Space Welch's Jelly Jars were released when the Jim Henson Company was still mulling over two different scripts for Muppets From Space, those being Jerry Juhl's Muppets from Space and Kirk Thatcher's Muppets in Space. As a result, the jars moreso reflect Thatcher's script and are considered collectables for an unmade film.
