8 Interactive Learning Methods for Better Engagement
These learning approaches motivate students to connect with the content and significantly improve comprehension and recall while creating a pleasurable educational journey. Unlike sitting passively to read or hear lectures interactive learning motivates students to take part through tasks like role-playing and projects. By using these strategies students learn to solve problems and collaborate effectively in practical contexts. Interactive quizzes such as Kahoot! create a competitive and enjoyable learning environment. By using hands-on projects and digital simulations effectively students further their insight into the concepts. Using peer instruction and whiteboard activities inspires partnership and dialogue to improve student participation. Active learning strategies establish a vibrant and involving atmosphere that encourages students to take part enthusiastically. Consequently, student achievement rises along with their enthusiasm for learning.
Group Discussion

In study group discussions, students can present their opinions while obtaining fresh viewpoints and resolving uncertainties about coursework . In a cooperative environment students discover various perspectives that typically result in a profound grasp of the subject matter. In these discussions students actively participate and think critically by sharing their opinions and interacting with peers. Participating in group discussions lets students teach each other about concepts which deepens their collective knowledge. This participatory strategy successfully transforms tough subjects into clearer aspects by breaking down complicated material.
Interactive Quizzes
Interactive quizzes change the learning process into a fun and challenging activity. With Kahoot! and Quizlet available to them students can gauge their skills in a fun and interactive manner. These quizzes enable students to recall information and also point out spots needing additional emphasis. Students are prompted to take an active role by the competitive nature; instant feedback helps them fix their misunderstandings immediately. Quizzes that are interactive boost retention and create a more fun learning journey. Quizzes prove useful in revision times by providing excitement and reinforcing vital principles.
Hands-On Projects
Practical assignments present a real-world way of studying that fortifies theoretical ideas. When students create models or run experiments they must interact closely with the subject. When students practically utilize their knowledge they improve their insight and gain essential problem-solving techniques. Through projects students engage in experiential learning which drives them to create original ideas and relate theories to actual practice. Engaging in these activities builds teamwork and collaboration notably in group efforts making hands-on projects an excellent approach to strengthen learning and improve recall.
Role-Playing
Role-playing changes topics such as history and literature into engaging learning opportunities by enabling students to perform scenarios. Performing historical scenarios or presenting scientific methods assists students in acquiring a clearer comprehension of theoretical ideas. Using this technique involves different senses which makes the subject easier to remember and quickly accessed. Active engagement and creativity arise from role-playing activities that create a delightful learning experience. Students improve their memory and use their skills better at tests by taking on the role of a character or idea.
Gamified Learning
Mechanics such as levels and points in gamified learning increase student involvement. By incorporating these elements into their systems Duolingo and Classcraft encourage learners with a fun and challenging atmosphere. By creating challenges within lessons gamified learning ensures that students stay engaged and encouraged to meet their objectives while delivering instant rewards and a sense of achievement. By using this technique students engage more actively and frequently achieve higher retention scores as learning becomes tied to positive moments.
Peer Teaching

In peer teaching students assume a teacher's position making it an effective educational approach. Guiding classmates on concepts needs a firm grasp of the content that amplifies their learning and refines their interactions. Students team up to make complicated subjects clearer and to address queries in this method. When students teach each other they not only build their own confidence but also create shared advantages. Evidence suggests that individuals frequently keep information more clearly when instructing peers facilitating sustained retention.
Digital Simulations
Learning complicated topics in physics chemistry and economics becomes easier for students using digital simulations. With tools like PhET simulations in hand students can tweak variables and catch the real-time outcomes transforming theory into clearer insights. These interactive tools enable students to explore and interact with difficult concepts like chemical reactions and economic principles which standard textbooks may find hard to illustrate. Through participation in these activities students improve their ability to solve problems and develop a better grasp of the theory. Learners can safely examine different scenarios using digital simulations which nurtures their understanding and consolidates their knowledge.
Interactive Whiteboards

Interactive whiteboards play a vital role in encouraging joint effort and original thinking in classrooms. This platform enables students and teachers to jointly tackle challenges and develop concepts using visual tools immediately. These tools enable students to create and edit content right on the board improving interaction and involvement in the learning process. During collaborative moments interactive whiteboards encourage dialogue and inventiveness urging learners to involved and express their ideas. By using this visual and teamwork method students can better remember information and enhance their understanding and recall

CAN FISH RECOGNIZE INDIVIDUAL HUMANS IN THE WILD?
The ability to recognize individual humans is often associated with mammals and birds, yet research suggests that some fish are also capable of this cognitive feat. While diving in the Mediterranean Sea, a team of scientists observed something intriguing: every field season, they were followed by groups of local fish known as pargo or dorado, stealing food intended to reward other fish in their experiments.
In controlled experiments, wild saddled sea bream (Oblada melanura) and black sea bream (Spondyliosoma cantharus), were trained to follow a human diver to obtain a food reward. Remarkably, they can differentiate between dozens of individuals with high success rates, even when superficial features such as colour or brightness are altered. This suggests that their recognition is based on specific patterns rather than simple visual cues. Similar capabilities have been observed in cleaner fish (Labroides dimidiatus), which adjust their behaviour depending on whether they recognize a familiar diver, implying that this skill might have adaptive benefits in natural environments.
-Maëlan Tomasek (Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior), one of the study's authors, next to a wild fish. The researchers found that wild fish start to follow humans for food and are able to identify individual divers by their clothing.
If fish in the wild can recognize individual humans, the implications extend beyond academic curiosity. Species frequently interacting with humans—such as those in ecotourism settings or research projects—may learn to associate specific individuals with positive or negative experiences. This has been observed in sharks, where some individuals appear to recognize divers who regularly feed or tag them, approaching more readily or avoiding interactions depending on past encounters. Understanding these cognitive abilities could inform conservation strategies by highlighting the impact of repeated human interactions on fish behaviour.
Despite these insights, much remains unknown about how fish process facial recognition and whether this ability is widespread across different taxa. Future research will need to examine whether this recognition occurs naturally in the wild without training and how it influences social interactions within fish populations. As we continue to challenge outdated assumptions about fish intelligence, it becomes increasingly clear that their cognitive world is far more complex than previously thought.

omegaverse 141
previous
The following morning, after formation, you have your squad follow you onto the trail that runs around base. The same one Soap had seen you running a few weeks back.
"You didn't tell us we be runnin' today, Sarge," Geoffrey says, barely concealing a whine.
You chuckle to yourself and roll your eyes. Glancing over your shoulder you ask, "When have I led ya wrong?" Your squad is quiet behind you. They may not want to socialize with you as an omega, but there's no denying you've been getting the job done. "Brought ya out here cuz I wanted to talk. And to do it without any alphas or other CO's around."
There's some muttering behind you, not loud enough to make anything out, but not quiet enough to dismiss either. You notice a change in the air around you. Though they're betas and have learned how to project their calming scent, most are still working on controlling their fear and distress. You can smell the slightly sour milk and rush to allay their worries.
You turn to face them and say, "You're not in trouble! We are not in trouble." You face the trail again and resume your walk, talking as you go, "But something's come up, and it impacts everyone." You pick up your pace ever so slightly . You're looking for the clearing you'd passed the first time you ran here. It's a little space set off from the main trail, big enough for a few people to camp or for a squad to meet. You want to get there quickly to have this whole conversation out rather than dropping breadcrumbs. Your squad deserves that.
Once everyone is off the trail and standing around you, you tell them about the offer you've received from the 141. "Oh my God," Molly whispers, awe in her voice. "There, like, the best!"
You bob your head in acknowledgment and respond, "Some of, yes." It's clear that your squad doesn't understand the full implications of you joining the 141. So you lay it out for them. "If I take this opportunity, they'll pull me as your CO. Captain Price said -"
A voice interrupts, "You mean you actually talked to Captain Price?!?" You smile self-indulgently remembering how awed you were when the man first approached you.
"Yes, and 'e said that it's too disruptive for any of the 141 to have a squad of their own. Apparently, we can be called out at any point, and be gone for weeks. It would leave ya without a commanding officer." You look at each member of your squad, meeting everyone's eyes. "If I do this, you'll have a new CO. I don't know who it would be, and I don't know what that would mean for your trainin'. 'At's why I brought ya out here. Wanted to get yer honest take on what this means fer ya." There's some uneasy shuffling as it seems no one wants to quite be honest about their feelings. You remind them that you're not like other COs, and that you're an omega. Not that they need the reminder about either, but it seems to help settle some nerves. "I know it's hard fer ya having an omega as a CO. I know the stigma it carries. While this decision is mine and mine alone, yer time here is impacted by it, so I wanted to know what ya think."
It finally occurs to some members of your squad that they can be honest with you. "Yeah, 's tough around base having you as our CO. There're still a lot of alphas who won't want us on their team because you're the one who is trained us," Connor says.
One by one, your squad shares how they feel about you joining the 141. Some are like Connor and recognize the strain it puts on their careers to have you as their CO. Some are like Molly, excited for your opportunity regardless of what it does for them. Some are like Geoffrey, recognizing how they've struggled and realizing that a different CO, a beta or an alpha who is harsher, will make their time in the military much more difficult.
You get the sense - from what they say and how they smell - that most of your squad have already accepted that you'll leave them. Some may be happy about this because of the way it might benefit them while others simply seem happy for you. You close by telling them to make their way to the shooting range to practice on the Glock 17s. You remind them that after range practice is lunch with the promise of a decision for them by the time you see them in the mess.
"An' I promise, if I do take Captain Price up on his offer, I'll still keep tabs on you. Gotta make sure you all make it through basic as brilliantly as I know you can," you say with a rueful grin.
Your squad disperses from the clearing, making their way in twos and threes back to base, but you hang back. You pull your phone out and call home, finally ready with a decision.
This time it's Mum who answers. She takes one look at your face and shouts off screen to Mama and Dad "We've got a decision!" There's commotion on the other end as Mama and Dad come into frame.
"I hope I'm not interrupting," you say apologetically.
Dad reminds you he's on glorified bedrest, "So either yer Mum or yer Mama is always home. This morning I've got both." He smiles, "But a call from you is never an interruption. Or, if it is, it's the best kind."
Mama nods and leans close to the screen. "So, what did you decide?"
You take a deep breath, letting the air fill your lungs, and release it slowly. Before you can tell them, Mum says, "Good fer you, love."
"But," you sputter, "Mum...I didn't even tell you-"
"You don't have to, dear," she interrupts. "I can see the decision in your eyes. You're gonna join the task force." You hear the price, and fear, in her voice.
Beside her, Mama nods and tries to hide her emotions. "We're proud of whatever decision you make. And while I'm not happy with how much more dangerous this is, I think it's the right thing for you."
Dad is beaming, but you see the tears caught in his lashes. "Pretty girl, we love you so much! This is such an amazing opportunity for you. And if it feels right, if your omega feels safe, this might be the best thing for you."

"In short:
Victorian farmers and volunteers have planted 750,000 trees to restore habitat for a critically endangered bird.
The Regent Honeyeater Project has brought together volunteers from all walks of life since it was launched in the 1990s.
What's next?
An ornithologist says the project is working wonders for the species and other wildlife.
--
John Paul Murphy is not an ecologist, but he knows a thing or two about trees.
The young cattle farmer from Winton in north-east Victoria has helped plant more than 750,000 trees as part of the Regent Honeyeater Project.
"Our involvement as a family goes back to the early 1990s, when the project first kicked off," Mr Murphy said.
The regent honeyeater is a critically endangered bird known for its black-and-bright-yellow colouring.
"Back in the day, millions of these birds would darken the sky from Adelaide up to Queensland," ornithologist Maggie Watson said.
"They're quite large compared to other honeyeaters, are highly nectar-dependent, and are one of the main pollinators of eucalypt trees."
Dr Watson, based in Burrumbuttock, New South Wales, said habitat fragmentation was a major reason the bird was threatened.
"When people started clearing farmland as part of colonisation in the 1800s, they removed all the productive, nectar-producing trees," she said.
"So that essentially wiped out the regent honeyeater's main food-base."
'Great for all wildlife'
Benalla cattle farmer and Regent Honeyeater Project president Rob Richardson said agriculture had claimed its share of the environment.
"We've destroyed a lot of habitat to create grazing and cropping land to the point where there are less than 500 wild regent honeyeaters left in Australia," he said.
"So now we're trying to restore the balance.
"We propagate all the trees in our plant nursery, and then plant them across the landscape to establish vegetation corridors."
Dr Watson said the project would significantly benefit the regent honeyeater population.
"The birds need to have 'roads' to get to flowering trees like eucalypts, and those roads happen to be other trees — so the more you plant, the better," she said.
"Tackling habitat fragmentation is great for all wildlife."
Huge volunteer effort
Mr Richardson said local volunteers were at the heart of the project.
"Over the last 30 years we've had many farmers donate land to be revegetated and over 40,000 volunteers help plant all the trees," he said.
Mr Murphy said the volunteers came from all walks of life.
"At our planting days, I've met university students, doctors, lawyers, biologists … and many of them come back year after year," he said.
Mr Murphy said it was nice to have a chance to get to know with people he may not otherwise have met.
"Farming can be pretty isolating," he said.
"But when you're planting, learning, and just getting your hands dirty together, the conversations you have are really unique.""

College!Jason x Nerdy!Reader ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ mdni (18+)˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆
Part 1
Warnings: vaginal sex, fingering, unprotected sex.
a/n: The anon who requested part one is a genius and the love of my life, love you all mwahhh
────୨ৎ────
After your English project with Jason, the two of you got closer. You ended up making a deal: he would help you go out to parties more often and break out of your shell, in return for tutoring.
Jason wasn't dumb; he just got easily distracted in class and needed someone to push him. You needed to go out more and meet new people. It was an easy exchange; both of you won—technically, you won more than he did, since you'd watch him flex his arms above his head in concentration during study sessions. You'd watch his shirt ride up, revealing his toned abdomen when he stretched and groaned out of boredom. You’d feel him wrap an arm around you when you got too drunk at a party, carrying you back to your dorm.
Day by day, the two of you got closer. You learned why he rolled his eyes during literature classes: he was passionate about it, albeit troublesome. You learned his hockey schedule and attended his practices, games, and parties. You hung out with his team and met his friends.
Soon enough, you realized he was less broody and playboy-like than people had portrayed him. He was attractive and knew it, but he wasn't arrogant about it, so the friendship bloomed quickly, and naturally, so did the benefits.
Both of you liked each other, so it was really just a matter of time—how much you could take without folding. So, Jason took it upon himself to get you to hook up.
The first time you thought it a kind of impulsive incident, something that should not—would not— happen again; the second time he fucked you so good you hoped it would happen again. It did, several times.
────୨ৎ────
Jason had been grunting and huffing throughout your weekly hour of tutoring. He seemed more interested in making jokes and peeking down your blouse. He'd moved from his desk to his bed and so had you. You were beginning to lose your patience (and your resolve), so when he proposed that you take a break, you were quick to agree.
So, there you were, perched in his lap, arms around his neck and skirt bunched over your thighs as you straddled him. Your blouse and bra had been discarded the second you'd given Jason the go and his lips were latched onto your chest, nipping, sucking and kissing everywhere he could reach. You knew there was going to be dark purple splotches all over your neck and chest when you left his room that evening, but at that moment you couldn't bring yourself to mind.
"Fuck—sweetheart," He breathed out when you rolled your hips, his cock getting deeper inside you, hitting at that gummy spot that made you scream that much louder.
His thighs were coated in your slick, a creamy white ring at the base of his cock. The sound of his hips hitting your ass and your soft moans and whines rang loudly in the tiny room. You were sure someone on his floor would complain about the noise.
His grip on your hips tightened and he rolled you over onto your back, his hips never moving away from yours. He grabbed your leg and put it over his shoulder, allowing himself to hit that much deeper. Tears brimmed at your eyes as he filled you up. His movements didn't falter when an orgasm came over you, your legs shaking, giving up beneath you. He just smirked, let out a breathy groan, and pounded you that much harder.
"Jay, I—" You cut yourself off with a moan when his hand snaked down to your clit.
"You what baby?"
"'m close, Jay—" You furrowed your brows in concentration, hips bucking against him harshly.
He knew you were close even before you told him, he'd felt you clench around him, tight and warm, unrelenting. His hand on your clit rubbed faster figure eights and your hips bucked against him. His pace unwavering, his teal eyes holding your dazed gaze when you tightened around him, spasming and moaning his name.
You could hear the loud squelching noise you made, the skin slapping skin; you could feel the sweat and stickiness. His breathing quickened and his thrusts became messier, hurried, more like ruts than thrusts as he came inside you with a grunt.
You fell limp against the bed and allowed him to clean the mess in between your shaky legs. He rubbed a damp cloth over your sensitive skin, pressing kisses in it's wake. You could hear him muttering praise against your skin, but in your sex dazed state you couldn't make out the half of what he was saying.
He helped you get dressed in one of his hockey t-shirts and let you take a nap while he revised some notes. He'd let you quiz him later, and scold him for having sex with you instead of studying, because how could he know nothing of the entire unit? The exam was next friday!

New to witchcraft? Awesome! Here's some things you should pursue.
An understanding of sympathetic magic: Correspondences, their metaphysical and theoretical framework, and their derivation.
Magical systems that incorporate the entire gender spectrum.
Energy work that isn't based on visualization.
The means of manifestation: How, where, and when spells affect physical change. The physical mechanisms through which witchcraft manifests beyond just willpower/intent/wishes/etc.
The history and subsequent influences of, and on, popular contemporary practices like Hermeticism, "Ceremonial Magick"/Golden Dawn, Wicca, and New Age/New Thought/LOA/Reiki.
How to approach and practice magic with critical thinking skills.
Influence of consumerism on contemporary practices.
Divination as systems: all methods of divination beyond tarot, their statistical applications, and their different methods of use.
The anthropology of medieval Arabia, Europe, Near East, and Asia relative to the magical or occult publications of the era. What is purely religious, parareligious, or syncretist and what does that mean for the interpretation of the text?
The genuine limits of our knowledge of the ancient world, what's possible for us to know and what can't we know?
Conversations with practitioners of closed or semi-closed practices and perspectives of POC when it comes to what the western world would label as "witchcraft".
The differences and similarities between superstition and the practice of witchcraft.
An understanding of the influence of colonialism on modern witchcraft and the language used to discuss magic.
Critical Race Theory (CRT), Queer Theory, and systems of oppression.
Botany and herbology: An understanding of the physical and medical properties of plants.
Building a personal lexicon for modern and/or colloquial terms used in and by the witchcraft community to describe and discuss practices.
Spell design: What makes a spell a spell? What is the smallest or slightest action that can be considered a spell and why? What are the most important and influential elements of the design and application of a spell?
Altars: Their use, design, and potential; whether or not an altar would benefit your practice or goals for practice.
A critical approach to spirit work and astral projection, being able to discern between personal narratives and probable experiences.
A safe and solid community to become a part of. One that does not allow the influence of personal narratives (Without addressing them as such), doesn't allow for the mixing of adults and minors, and with established and enforced logical and reasonable rules.
Collect and cross-reference correspondences from as many sources as possible, then start to create your own.
Try to find a STEM subject that interests you and study it through any non-dogmatic avenues available to you.
The items highlighted in blue are things I highly recommend!
Here is a list of things to avoid.
This is, of course, not an end-all-be-all list of possible responsible and healthy pursuits.

AI, Creativity, and Critical Thinking: How Tapas Education is Shaping the Future of Learning
In an era dominated by artificial intelligence and rapid technological growth, education systems worldwide are being challenged to evolve. At Tapas Education, the focus is not just on adapting to the digital age, but on nurturing a generation of learners equipped with creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. By integrating project-based learning, personalized learning in schools, and experiential learning, Tapas is redefining what it means to truly educate in the 21st century.
Project-Based Learning: Real-World Skills in Action
One of the key pillars at Tapas Education is project-based learning (PBL). Unlike traditional rote methods, PBL engages students in meaningful projects that mirror real-life challenges. Whether students are designing eco-friendly homes, building simple AI models, or solving community issues, they are learning to collaborate, innovate, and think critically.
The benefits of project-based learning go far beyond academics. It helps students develop essential soft skills like teamwork, time management, and decision-making. Most importantly, it makes learning relevant. When students see the impact of their work beyond the classroom, their motivation and curiosity soar.
Personalized Learning in Schools: One Size Doesn’t Fit All
Every child is unique — so why should education be one-size-fits-all? Tapas believes in personalized learning in schools, tailoring the learning journey to suit individual strengths, interests, and pace. Through continuous assessments and close mentorship, students receive the guidance they need to thrive.
Personalized learning empowers students to take ownership of their education. It allows them to explore subjects deeply, revisit challenging concepts without stigma, and move ahead in areas where they excel. This approach not only improves academic outcomes but also builds confidence and self-awareness.
Experiential Learning: Learning by Doing
At Tapas, learning doesn’t just happen through textbooks or lectures. It happens through doing, exploring, and reflecting. The benefits of experiential learning are evident in every activity — be it science experiments, field visits, theatre, or AI-integrated projects. Students don’t just learn theories; they understand how those theories apply to the world around them.
Experiential learning also encourages curiosity and creativity. It gives students the freedom to ask questions, test their ideas, and learn from failure — crucial skills in today’s ever-changing world. With this approach, Tapas helps children become adaptive thinkers ready to face complex global challenges.
The Future is Human-Centered
While AI continues to evolve, Tapas Education believes the future belongs to those who can think creatively, communicate effectively, and act ethically. By combining project-based learning benefits, personalized learning in schools, and the benefits of experiential learning, Tapas is creating a model of education that is not only future-ready but deeply human-centered.
Conclusion
Tapas Education stands at the forefront of progressive education in India. As schools worldwide explore how to prepare students for a tech-driven world, Tapas offers a clear vision: empower students with the skills, mindset, and passion to shape a better future — one project, one experience, and one learner at a time.

🌾 ❛ THE MOON AND YOUR DESIRED ROUTINE ༉‧₊˚ ˚୨୧
(through the signs)
🌳✧
hey guys. this post is about the moon and the type of routine that you may prefer based on the sign that lands in it. i hope you enjoy the post! ♡🌿
if you have any tarot or astrology post suggestions, i’d be more than willing to consider them. just drop your suggestions in my asks or in my post notes :)
— the moon and its meaning ꕥ
The moon is the planet of emotions, your internal world, where you find personal comfort, and where you find inner fulfillment. However, others tend to forget that the moon is a feminine and nocturnal planet that also rules patterns, cycles, and flow states. In a female’s chart, it rules over her menstrual cycle, her emotional flow throughout the month, and her inner states throughout the 28-day cycle; in a male’s chart, it rules over his emotional health and character as well as his inner child in a vulnerable and instinctual sense. Furthermore, in general, the moon could also indicate the routines and “personal flow” that one strives for daily to achieve comfort and satisfaction. Today, I am going to analyze what type of routine you prefer based on the sign your moon is placed in.
moon in aries˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Aries seek spontaneousness, thrills, leadership, and independence in their daily life and routines. They are particularly comfortable being constantly being on the move, hoping to discover a new venture, or taking on a new challenge. They wake up every morning with the intention of reflecting on what new battle they can fight today. Furthermore, they are one of the signs who are more comfortable with managing sporadic and unorganized schedules because they initiate a new project every other day. It is assured they do not get overwhelmed easily, but they could easily become explosive or impulsive in their actions or feelings when stressed or things do not go according to plan. These individuals could get very impatient as well, striving to get things done in a short amount of time; this could be particularly overwhelming for others and burdening for them in the long run. They often struggle to stay focused on a venture due to their hastiness and tendency to lose interest easily. They should learn how to start projects, manage them, and finish them victoriously; plus, learn how to be patient and take their time, so their ideas can successfully manifest in what they expected from the beginning. Additionally, individuals with Moon in Aries are self-interested. They prefer spending time on activities, hobbies, or endeavors that they could benefit or improve from. Not to mention, they are risk-takers. These individuals seek fulfillment from new experiences and circumstances because it gives excitement and stimulation.
moon in taurus ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Taurus seek comfort, security, and stability in their daily life and routines. They often are satisfied with an unsurprising and easy-going routine–not too sporadic or unpredictable like Aries Moons. They seek calm and quietness in their life with not much stress. It is particularly easier for these individuals to get overwhelmed–especially over an unexpected task added to their schedule. You will often notice that these people strive for financial stability in their personal goals because they know that it will give them the material comfort they hope to have. Furthermore, they are more inclined to do self-care and relaxation practices as it gives them a sense of self-esteem and levelheadness–they especially need it after a long day at work or school. Additionally, Moon in Taurus individuals prefer to take their life in getting their errands done, and they dislike being rushed. They may struggle with changing their routine or daily activities for any person or circumstance because it is what is appropriate for them. They should learn how to modify their schedule for important events and relationships.
moon in gemini ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Gemini seek learning, socialization, activity, and communication in their daily life and routine. These people are often striving to mentally challenge themselves and find ways to stimulate themselves all the time. That is why you will often find these individuals with chaotic and packed schedules, or they seem to always be occupied–it is because they are always hoping to learn something new, access their creativity and skill, or challenge their brain. They would like to spend their time playing puzzles, word searches, reading, or debating with certain groups. Furthermore, these folks are extremely social and always wanting to connect with their peers; they might seek to find time in the day to meet up with their friends. Additionally, they have the tendency of wanting to do everything they want to do all at once–and they can often get very disorganized and ungrounded while doing so. It is important for people with Moon in Gemini to learn how to take things slow and collect their thoughts and plans before everything turns into a mess.
moon in cancer ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Cancer seek comfort, security, emotional counsel, and familial connections in their daily life and routine. These people could adore spending time with their family members or their close loved ones immensely; they are the types to consider their cousins or siblings their true friends and desire to do everything with them. They could more than likely desire to spend time at home, and perhaps may prefer to work from home too. Additionally, with a person who has Moon in Cancer– you could find that mostly everything on their daily to-do list consists of errands they need to do surrounding the house (such as doing laundry, cleaning their room, etc.) They might also like taking care of people. It is integral for cancer moons to have a schedule in which they can feel safe and comfortable doing, especially in a sense where it is not far from home or their close connections. However, these people could easily become homesick or struggle to adhere to changes or circumstances far from their safe spot.
moon in leo ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Leo seek entertainment, creativity, and recognition in their daily life and routines. These people strongly value and prioritize their inner child and their ability to artistically express themselves. They could be particularly interested in the arts, music, performing, acting, or anything in which they can demonstrate themselves and their character in an inspiring way. These folks hope to find fun and excitement in their life through their hobbies and passions. In other words, these people do not function well in routines in which they do not have creative freedom or the time to indulge in their childish endeavors. Furthermore, Leo moons are generous and kind at heart. They are more than likely to be able to handle children for long periods of time; in fact, they could adore implementing kids into their daily routine. Additionally, they prefer to connect with others and spend time with loved ones in circumstances in which they can lead them by example. However, these individuals could instantly turn bratty or spoiled when things do not go their way. If their day seems to be going terrible, it is easy for them to become explosive or stubborn. Leo moons should learn to be more selfless when it comes to compromising their plans and endeavors within the day sometimes.
moon in virgo ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Virgo seek discipline, order, and practicality in their daily life and routines. They are the type of people to plan their entire day on a to-do list or structure it from start to finish. Furthermore, they value productivity and making good use of themselves and their time. So, you will usually see them working on a particular project, improving themselves in some way, or investing their time into developing a special skill. These folks prefer a system in their day-to-day activities, or otherwise, they’ll feel out of control with themselves. Although these people are particularly able to change their routines and create an entirely new structure, they prefer to keep things predictable–especially when it comes to dedicating themselves to specific future aspirations and ventures. One thing about them is that they will always work on their craft, one way or another. Additionally, virgo moons can also value cleanliness in their physical environment. It is easy for their mood to change if their environment isn’t aligned with their mindset, so they could prioritize cleaning their area and making sure every item is in the right place. However, they often have tendencies of being a control freak–expecting things to go the exact way they planned or trying to handle anything or anyone that disrupts their plans. This placement is also known for its perfectionism. These individuals need to work on their excessive need for things to be 100% flawless; it could easily lead them to stress and low self-esteem, making them believe that everything they do is wrong and that they need to reach up to their extremely high expectations. In other words, virgo moons need to learn how to calm down and accept that things can be imperfect and that they can make mistakes or “fail”.
moon in libra ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Libra seek peace, balance, and beauty in their daily life and routines. These people often strive for a clear and collected mind space; they hope to eliminate any conflict, confrontations, or issues in their life. They would often try to stabilize themselves through acts of meditation, self-care, socializing, or cleaning. Furthermore, these people often strive to romanticize their lives; it allows them to enjoy their circumstances better through the acts of art, beauty, reflection, and creativity. They adore investing in makeup, fashion, painting, music, and other pleasurable things. Additionally, they are one of the most social moon signs; they thrive when they interact with their interpersonal relationships. It makes them feel connected and close to the important people in their lives. One thing about Libra Moons is that they often try to go far to avoid conflicts, even if it is something they need to confront or take accountability for. This can often make them appear a bit indifferent or distant in times of disagreements and discordance. However, shoving issues into the backburner will not solve anything–they need to learn to confront conflicts and problems and handle them maturely.
moon in scorpio ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Scorpio seek privacy, intimacy, depth, and intensity in their daily life and routines. First and foremost, these people often prefer to undergo their errands and plans under the radar–they do not feel particularly comfortable with anyone knowing their next move. That is why you’ll often see that these folks do not post often on social media, or they dislike telling people what their plans are for the day. There could be an undertone of paranoia in why they choose not to do so. They just value their intimate space and refuse to let any outside energies intervene with it. So, they need secrecy more than anything. Furthermore, when it comes to activities, they also would like to do them with people who they hold very close–similar to Moon in Cancer–but they are more reserved and strict about it. When they are in a relationship, you’ll find that they would want to spend most of the time with their partner. It can almost get obsessive. It is important for these people to learn to not become obsessive with their loved ones or partners–to let go and learn independence in their quality time.
moon in sagittarius ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Sagittarius seek excitement, new experiences, and diversity in their daily life and routines. One thing about these folks is that they are always striving to be on the move–similar to their fire counterparts. They are always on the move for the next huge and exhilarating thing. You’ll find that these individuals desire to travel, go to parties, spend time with friends, or meet new people. However, they are also very intelligent and have a will to learn–so they also hope to gain a new perspective from these experiences and circumstances. These people might dedicate a certain time of the day to learning about a topic, investing in a religion, or studying a course. It is integral for these people to have a routine that gives them a new learning experience or something to have faith about; otherwise, these individuals could become hopeless or pessimistic. However, it is easy for these people to become overindulgent or lazy–not being considerate about the consequences or their future. There needs to be a balance between fun and seriousness.
moon in capricorn ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Capricorn seek achievement, structure, and influence in daily life and routines. Similar to virgo moons, they value being productive and useful with their time—in their case, they hope that their time could lead them to ultimate success and recognition. These people may like to work many hours or put in much time to their career endeavors. This often leaves them little to no quality time for their loved ones and friends. Furthermore, these folks are very patient and precise in their actions as they are able to build things from the ground up and maintain a vision for a long period of time. That is why they are often good planners and can easily build a business or company if they desired to. However, they need to make sure that they do not overwork themselves, isolate themselves from pleasures and socialization, and develop strong control issues; it could easily lead them down the road to stress, burn out, or depression. Additionally, since they are serious individuals, they may struggle with maintaining a balance outlook on the things they need to do and the things they do for the fun of it. They should learn how to maintain balance with work and pleasure—because one without the other could wreak havoc.
moon in aquarius ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Aquarius seek community, electrifying experiences, and goals in their daily life and routines. These people are always hoping to spend time with their community–people who are similar to them because they make them feel like they belong, and they adore making people feel like they belong as well. However, people tend to forget to give credit for how hardworking these folks are. They might dedicate most of their time in the day to working towards their hopes and dreams. These individuals desire to live a life in which everything is served to justice, equality, and peace–a place they can live in, a life they can adhere to. Therefore, these people are very dedicated to working towards their aspirations for the sake of themselves and the people they care about. Additionally, they strive for unpredictability in their routine. They want something different everyday in their errands–something erratic and thrilling. However, there could be too much unpredictableness to the point of instability in their actions. It is important to find a balance in that too.
moon in pisces ˚☽˚。⋆.
Individuals with Moon in Pisces seek imagination, spirituality, creativity, and the unknown in their daily life and routines. These people prefer to stay in their heads and work out the dreams and fantasies that they have in their mind. Even if they are forced to live in the practical world, it is important that pisces moons always operate from the place of visualizing their creative ideas and manifestations. These are the types to invest most of their time into different mediums of spirituality such as meditation, journaling, the occult, manifestation, or connecting to the unknown or spirit world. Furthermore, they would like to invest their energy into artistic hobbies such as photography, painting, drawing, music, fashion, or modeling. However, it is easy for these individuals to get lost in their subconscious and completely neglect their physical circumstances. There could even be instances in which they use vices to escape from the world (such as alcohol, drugs, or if they are in a relationship, a person) There seems to be this need for balance when it comes to the spiritual and the practical–perhaps even setting boundaries because these people are also very compassionate and kind. There could be times in which they feel the need to change their schedule for the sake of the people they care about even if they are not able to.

Thinking about...
Your first date with Barou featuring Ubers! (Part 1/2)
Honestly I love Ubers and I love that they helped dye Barou's hair so I hc that they also insisted on helping him getting ready for his first date.
After Barou finally asked you out on a real, proper date (the whole team'd been waiting for months since they learned about his crush), they nagged him for the whole day before, fussing over him despite his death threats.
Barou'd probably die before he ever admitted that he needed help, but he had zero experience in romance, and apparently just a big ego and lots of confidence wouldn't cut it in a relationship, especially with someone he cared for deeply like you. He wanted it to be perfect, wanted you to be treated like royalty, and the King wouldn't settle for less.
Honestly, I don't think he was that much of a stubborn prick, like, he had his own rules and would definitely try to project them on others (also a very selfish, hard-headed, short tempered person in most situations), but he wasn't the kind to not being open to learn and improve, especially if it benefited him.
So, after a little persuasive speech from Aiku, the King caved, begrudgingly, and he allowed his teammates to help (help, not meddle) just a little.
As a result, we had Aryu picking out clothes and doing his hair and even some skin care (they begged him to ditch the hair gel which Lorenzo'd hidden in God knew where), making sure that Barou was gonna be "the most stylish" man on the streets that evening.
Then there was Niko looking up dates ideas and locations, activities that, according to his knowledge in anime and online, are the pinnacle of romance. The boy even made a playlist of cheesy love songs which Barou couldn't get mad at though he found those songs way too sappy for his liking's.
What's more? Well, Aiku and Sendou (mostly Aiku), of course, tried to give out some dating advice based on their experiences. Y'know, the typical how to talk to girls, some grand gestures and a few pick up lines and whatnot (also some tips in bed, which resulted in them getting yelled at). Barou found those utterly ridiculous and stupid, he knew how to be a gentleman on his own just fine, but he secretly kept them in mind, just in case.
It took the whole afternoon just for the preparation, but at the end of it everyone was pleased with the results of their handiworks. Barou was satisfied as well, of course, since his teammates actually helped and suggested things that he was confident and comfortable with instead of forcing him to be some Prince Charming that he wasn't.
And of course, right before he went to pick you up, Snuffy pulled him aside for "the talk". If it wasn't out of respect, Barou would've snapped and left already, but, much to his obvious annoyance and the scowl on his face, he reluctantly sat through it, even if he knew damn well that he would never did anything without careful consideration, and to you of all people. That was the most uncomfortable conversation in his life, honestly.
Now he just needed to go and not fuck this up.

They're so silly I just need them together again.
Also my long fics flop so bad every time i hope this won't i'm struggling T_T

About the Press
Duck Prints Press is a queer-owned indie press founded to publish original works by fancreators. We’ve been in operation for almost 4.5 years, and in that time we’ve worked with well over 150 creators to publish eight anthologies and almost 150 other stories, from shorts to novels, as well as three substantial art projects (with a fourth, pride-inspired project launching in just a couple weeks!) – and we’ve got more on the works. The vast majority of our creators and their creations are queer/LGTBQIA+.
26 authors and 8 artists have chosen to include their works this year’s bundles. Bundle contributors voted, and we’ve decided to support again the same charity we supported last year – Rainbow Railroad.
About Rainbow Railroad
In countries around the world, LGBTQI+ people face violence and oppression simply because of who they love or who they are. Rainbow Railroad helps them get to safety! Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps at-risk LGBTQI+ people get to safety worldwide. Based in the United States and Canada, they’re an organization that helps LGBTQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics. In a time when there are more displaced people than ever, LGBTQI+ people are uniquely vulnerable due to systemic, state-enabled homophobia and transphobia. These factors either displace them in their own country or prevent them from escaping harm.
Note: This charity is not affiliated with the Press and have not endorsed this in any way! Text is from the Rainbow Railroad website.

❦♡❦♡ Astrology Observations ❦♡❦♡
❥Dominant un-evolved Libra/7th house placements prioritize romantic partners over platonic relationships. The amount of depth or care that they allow themselves to feel is curated for their partner, and no matter how much consideration or care you show them, the amount of depth they will allow in from you is limited.
❥For Aquarius Moons (or dominant Aquarians) the root of many long-term struggles lies in how they respond to discomfort—by default, they tend to avoid it, which only delays growth and resolution.
❥1st House Chiron (maybe Pluto depending on other factors in the chart) can create the native to have deep self worth issues around their self image. They could lack confidence and there's often times dilemmas on how they "should" act or "should" look based on how others treated them.
❥If the native's Sun has little to no aspects in their birth chart, the chance that their Father is either emotionally or physically absent is likely, especially if the Sun is in the 7th, 10th or 12th house.
❥Nessus (the asteroid) aspecting the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus or the Ascendant indicates the native has dealt with deep abuse with the people they are closest with in their life. This abuse has fundamentally shaped them to become the person they are today.
Sun
Abuse from the father or dominant parental figure
Ego wounds; struggles with self-confidence and identity
Difficulty asserting autonomy; fear of being alone or independent
Potential for codependent behavior rooted in early validation issues
Moon
Abuse from the mother or maternal figure
Emotional manipulation, neglect, or inconsistency
Victim mindset or emotional enmeshment is common (your mother may have shown those traits early on in your life)
May struggle with emotional regulation and safety
Mercury
Abuse from siblings or through verbal communication
Childhood pain transferred into sibling dynamics
Parental abuse may distort thought processes or communication patterns
Mental overstimulation or inner criticism may stem from early verbal harm
Mars
Physical abuse or exposure to violence
Aggression as a learned coping mechanism
Impulsive, reactive behavior tied to unresolved rage from upbringing
Prone to conflict or projecting anger when triggered emotionally
Venus
Abuse from romantic partners or through love and affection
Tendency to seek self-worth through others
Attracting unhealthy relationships due to unhealed abandonment wounds
Love becomes a battlefield for reenacting early trauma
Ascendant
Abuse tied to early childhood and identity formation
The trauma is deeply embedded in how one shows up in the world, the abuse feels foundational, like it shaped your core self
Can manifest as self-protection, masking, or people-pleasing
Deep-rooted need to protect yourself; hyper-awareness of how others perceive you
Can result in either shrinking away from attention or overcompensating through control
❥Air and Fire dominant natives become bored with romantic connections quite quickly when there's no mental stimulation or attraction. Fire Venus/Asc/Mars will stick it out for the most part if there's genuine physical attraction. However Air dominant natives especially Venus/Asc/Mars will likely leave a connection if there's not enough conversation or playfulness involved.
❥Neptune conjunct Descendant can indicate a tendency to be deceived by romantic partners. They may choose partners who withhold a part of themselves, or they have 'rose colored glasses' towards individuals who are not healthy minded. They may see the red flags but ultimately chooses to ignore or give them the benefit of the doubt and forgive very easily. Especially if Neptune makes harsh aspects to the Sun, Moon, Venus or Mars.
❥Mars + Uranus + Pluto in the 5th House can indicate a tendency to form a gambling addiction. It also can showcase an intense need for outside fun, stimulation or adrenaline.
❥A native with an 11th house in Scorpio may experience pain or hardship when forming friendships or when it comes to finding a sense of community—especially if the Moon, Chiron, Saturn, or Pluto is present. The friendships they attract often bring intense lessons around self-worth and self-love. Compared to others, they may find it more difficult to build and maintain friendships, and might also rely more heavily on their friends for emotional support or validation.
❥Scorpio/8th house Moon individuals can have a harsh and emotional distant relationship with their Mother. Either the mother was emotionally abusive, narcissistic, absent or cold (depending on the sign). As the native matures, their relationship with the mother may improve. However, in early childhood, the native likely experienced emotional absence or instability from her.
❥Aries/6th House placements prioritize the gym more than other placements. Routine and a consistent workout schedule mentally calms their mind. They feel their best when they are at the gym, or when they are doing physical self care, such as facials, yoga, pilates, cardio, practicing a fixed diet, and so fourth.
❥5th/10th/11th House Moon, Venus, Sun, Mercury, Libra/Pisces placements are naturally in the Universes favor when it comes to gaining fame online or being noted for their beauty. Their appearance is favored on camera and the chances of gaining popularity online is very likely. They also may have incredibly soft skin and are blessed with facial genetics.
❥12th House placements especially Chiron, Venus, and Lilith often attract unwarranted animosity or jealousy from others. These individuals frequently become targets of projection and are blamed for actions they haven’t committed. They either speak up and are punished for it, or stay silent and are misunderstood. Others often driven by insecurity—construct false narratives about who they are.
As a woman, other girls may misconstrue your character, often withholding trust or projecting unwarranted animosity—especially if they feel you threaten their relationship with a partner or romantic interest. Their insecurities cast you as the villain, leading to you being reprimanded for actions you never took. They might label your behavior as “fake” or inauthentic, causing you to question yourself. Even if you know deep down that these narratives are false, the consistency of these experiences can make you wonder if there’s any truth to their accusations. Constant gossip could occur where these girls talk behind your back and nothing is every stated to your face, if you were to ask where their animosity stems from they will say "Just because."
Insecure boys may treat you poorly as a reflection of their own inner wounds. They might desire you but resent the fact that they can’t have you, which leads them to act cold, dismissive, or rude. Some may react with anger or irritation to your natural behavior simply because you don’t reciprocate their interest. On the opposite end of the spectrum, others may idealize you—seeing you as an “angel” or someone who can do no wrong. If there are aspects of you that remain a mystery, or if little is known about you publicly, they may fill in the blanks with fantasies or projections. You could be deeply admired without even knowing it. Groups of boys may talk about you behind your back, viewing you as a prize or someone unattainably special, yet never expressing these feelings to your face.
❥12th house Stellium vs 5th house Stellium: Both can do the same action, say the same comment and do the same exact thing; however the 5th house native will receive grace and prolonged consideration for their action while the 12th house native will experience backlash, gossip, and repercussions.
❥Moon/Venus opposite Uranus natives oftentimes struggle with consist relationships or monogamy. They may be drawn to polyamorous relationships or place romantic connections at the bottom of their priority list (especially if they are an avoidant or struggle with emotional vulnerability/intimacy). They may desire a partner in one moment then become completely disinterested in the next. This has to do with the fact that their Mother was often erratic or irrational when it came to the natives needs. One moment the mother was emotionally/physically present, and in the next completely fixated on their own needs and desires. So now, consistency forms as red flags and can even create boredom for the native. They may always be on the go or prefer to change scenery. Stagnation creates uncomfortability especially if they have 9th house placements.
❥8th house/Pluto synastry — especially when you carry deep wounds around self-worth, love, value, and abandonment — can feel very similar to the peace people describe during near-death experiences.
When someone’s Pluto touches your personal planets or activates your 8th house, the feeling isn’t just healing — it’s otherworldly. There's suddenly no more abandonment wounds, no more aching past; the deeper your wound, the more powerful their presence will feel.
8th house/Pluto synastry mirrors this freeing frequency, and it's the one your soul knows intimately, the one your consciousness is most familiar with and that's why this person will feel like "home."
❥12th House Venus natives often hold onto the ‘what ifs’ of a connection because the lingering longing creates an illusion of love. This longing allows them to feel as if the person once chose them, and they cling to that imagined moment for comfort. Longing becomes familiar—safe—because, deep down, they know it’s someone they likely can’t have. In truth, these natives often fear real, reciprocal emotional intimacy. They would rather idealize a connection from afar than face the vulnerability of having one.
❥A Leo Moon/Venus combined with a Virgo Sun and Rising can create a complex relationship with praise and recognition.
The native may crave validation and admiration to feel emotionally secure, yet struggle to truly receive it. Deep down, they long to be seen — not just for what they do, but for who they are. Still, Virgo’s influence brings a strong inner critic and a constant push for perfection. As a result, even when recognition is given, they may feel undeserving, leading to imposter syndrome. The tension between their need for appreciation and their fear of falling short can make it hard to embrace success without self-doubt.

How The Tables Turned [Ford x reader oneshot]
Summary: This time, its Ford making you stop what you're going to make sure you get sleep.
Rating: SFW and very fluffy
Warnings: Aside from a slightly suggestive part, none!
AO3 version
A/N: Actually based on a period of time where I tried to learn how to use unity (before the whole drama of it happened). I refused to do ANYTHING but to work on my little project no matter how much I was starving for a few weeks straight. lol.

It’s basically routine at this point for you to drag Ford out of his lab to head for bed. Even if you remind him of the benefits on sleeping and how the lack of it will impact his work, you still needed to get him into bed, sometimes having some food ready for him to make sure he didn’t sleep on an empty stomach.
That’s how its USUALLY IS.
Lately, you’ve started your own personal project involving learning a game engine to play around with. It was mostly just a random idea one day, wanting to try your hand at making your own little “video game”. Nothing too fancy, just something fun to put together and to learn some new skills along the way. There was A LOT you needed to look into and learn to make this happen, however.
From learning a coding language, the game engine itself, a mix between finding free to use assets and even making your own when nothing suited your taste- you had a lot on your plate. It wasn’t all that bad really, considering how this whole thing turned into a full blown hyper fixation fairly soon after starting it. It was easy to let the hours fly by as you were split between watching tutorial videos, drawing and fixing any errors/bugs in any of the codes you wrote down. You were aware of when you needed to sleep, eat and do other things for your health, but something about working on this project made you refuse to move from your chair. And you weren’t the only one to noticed this.
After a decent amount of time being with you, Ford has grown used to the routine of you coming to his lab to check up on him. It got to the point where he purposely stayed late in the lab to get you to come in and “pester” him to take care of himself better. The feeling of knowing you cared and loved him so much to go out of your way to make sure he knew that was something he relished in. Of course, he did felt a little “silly” and “immature” doing this instead of straight up telling you, but there was no harm being done anyways, so it was fine.
So when you stopped checking on him after a few nights, he couldn’t help but to worry a bit. At first, he figured you were just a bit busy, possibly even out for the night, so he didn’t think too much of it. However, when walking into your computer room and seeing you up staring at your screen with an open notebook with various random things written on it, he couldn’t help to smile a bit as you reminded him of his university days. You were just working on something, nothing too bad.
But as time passed by, he soon realizes he only ever sees you in your computer room. You barely went out for anything, even for food. Ford didn’t want to jump to any conclusions, but he was worried. Things escalated for him when he barely sees you in bed anymore.
It’s not like he didn’t talk to you as you were deep in your work. He would sometimes check in on you when things felt a little too quite after he started to noticed your absent in his lab. Ford was happy you were able to pursue something new and to take the time and effort to do it. He was aware of the little game you wanted to make for the sake of saying “I made this!”. When he had the free time, he’ll listen to you talk about the things you learned, some of the issues you faced and how you fixed them, etc etc. But he can only take so much before he had to really step in for your own sake.
The sky was dark out, and it was around 1am. You weren’t in bed yet. Again. Ford was really concerned for you now. Walking through the dim hallway, he opens up the door of your computer room. He can see you fully concentrated on your screen, looking over some codes you put together, as if you were trying to find any errors in the lines of text that was presented in front of you. It was obvious how dry your eyes were, how your body longed for rest, but the urge to keep going and to fix this one mistake kept you from wanting to sleep despite how much you felt the need to do so.
It was almost funny to him. A taste of his own medicine some would say. It reminds him of the many nights on how he too would refuse to stop for the night, always needing to do one more thing before he could let himself rest. How you would do your best to persuade him to let himself walk away from his work, to take care of himself to avoid any health complications, and to spend time with you in the comfort of your bed.
It made him feel guilty as well. The things you did for him and how much you loved him to always go out of your way to show it. Ford knew he was taking full advantage of that, and he wanted to repay it back.
You jumped a little in your seat when you felt his familiar six finger hand land on your shoulder, being so focused on the lines of text on your screen that you forgot where you were for a good bit. You look over at Ford as he stood beside your seat, giving him a weak smile.
“Oh hey! Do you need anything?” You asked before quickly looking back at the screen again.
“Love, when was the last time you ate?” Ford asked you in a gentle voice.
“Uh… I had breakfast?” You answered, only remembering you had some toast with a sunny side egg on top when you last ate. It didn’t seem like it mattered too much though.
“Its almost one am” Ford replied, a little stern this time. You quickly check the clock on your taskbar, feeling surprised from how much time had passed.
“Oh… oops” you spoke mostly to yourself, feeling a little silly for not checking the time more often. “I’ll probably head to bed soon”
“Not soon,” Ford points out, “you’re going to bed now.” His words made you look at him again, confusion viable on your face.
“Just let me do this one fix-” Ford says your name, stern voice again, causing you to stop your sentence.
“You are fully aware of the effects of not taking care of yourself” Ford spoke to you with a smirk on his face. You knew that he was referencing the many of times where you brought out the facts of how the lack of sleep and self care can affect your health and day to day life. It was the best way to convince him to come to bed and let you cuddle with him until you were both asleep. “You’re no different form me, sweetheart. Got to practice what they preach, as they say”
“Uh…. I’m built different?” You gave a half shrug and a low chuckle at your own joke. Obviously, this did nothing to change his mind. You knew he was right, and had nothing to say to argue back. Ford knew this too. “Fine… let me quickly save and shut off my computer…”
Ford watches you quickly save any progress before shutting off your computer, the light of the screen turning off and making the room dark as it was the only thing on. As you start to stand, your body fully conveyed how tired you really were. You were about to walk to the hallway door before Ford lets out a ‘let me’, and you were now being picked up bridle style in his arms. You let out a small gasp, often forgetting how much muscle the older man has as he often hides it away in his iconic turtleneck. The comfort of him holding you made the realization at your own exhaustion hit hard. You can feel yourself somewhat go limp as Ford carried you to your shared room.
Ford felt you quickly relax in his arms, feeling prideful as he carried you to your bed. Sitting you on the side and pulling the blanket back. He lays you on your pillow before fallowing suit into his usual spot on the bed beside you. Your eyes were shut as you let yourself sink into the soft mattress, the weight of the blanket being pulled over you giving a sense of security, along with how his arms wrapped around you to pull you close to his chest. You let out a sigh of relief as you feel him nuzzle his face into the crook of your neck, getting a few shivers down your spine.
“Sorry…” You mumbled to him, feeling guilty now for making him go out of his way to get you to bed. You feel him chuckle into your skin, the smile forming on his face being easily felt on your skin.
“Nothing to be sorry about sweetheart,” his replied, voice audibly sounding more tired, “I should be the one to apologize, making you go through this almost every night. I see how doing this almost all the time can be a bit frustrating for you.”
“Not if its you,” You were quickly to reply, “I’m always happy to make sure you’re okay”. Ford felt his heart flutter at your words. You always did surprised him with how much you loved him despite how many times you pointed it out.
“The feeling is mutual,” Ford placed a kiss on your skin as he caressed one of his thumbs that rested on you, “lets get to sleep now, I’ll be sure to do something for you in the morning” Ford gave another kiss on your skin, and you can’t help but to feel excited for what he had planned.
Silence followed as you two let yourselves slowly fall asleep in each others comfort. Feeling his steady heartbeat on your back lulled you to your sleep.
Ford smiled when he realized you fell asleep before he did. It was no surprise, you needed it really bad. Without fail every night when he has you in his arms like this, he feels like the luckiest man in the multiverse. He didn’t deserve you, but it was almost as if this is the repayment he deserved after many years of suffering, a way of life saying sorry to him.
And he wouldn’t ask for anything else.
