A commission for the unwavering Panda, of Miss Militia! You know, she's probably one of the two or so BB Protectorate heroes I really like, I think it's because of the 90's antihero vibe. Gun is a great superpower too.

It bares repeating: fuck the Protectorate's marketing policies. Aegis could've been the Revenant and have a sick vampire-ghost-zombie thing going on. Instead he has a boring name and exactly two defining features.

Spade
Tumblr media
Spade is, by all accounts, the modern day Eidolon. She has a cache of powers she can randomly select from and make use of, making her one of the most versatile parahumans from Earth Bet to Earth Q.
Her "real" power is a copy ability, similar to that of the supervillain Grue. A cloud of darkness she can encompass someone with to copy their power(s).
Much like Eidolon, Spade has a theoretically infinite cache of powers she can draw from. Unlike Eidolon, however, she has to obtain the powers herself, she's immediately at their full strength, and they're not strictly relevant. Every power she copies is added to her cache permanently, and she must take the time to fully copy a power or be left with a weaker version of it.
When switching from power to power, she is exhausted an amount that appears to be proportional to its potential. Because of this, copy time for full use of a power, and the random nature of switching, Spade has to be incredibly picky in copying new powers. She wasn't in the beginning.
Some of the more... iconic powers she has access to are as follows:
• pyrokinesis
• forcefield generation
• enhanced acrobatic ability
• enhanced strength
• enhanced senses
• short-range, rapid-fire teleportation
And more. Because of the nature of powers in general, Spade is most dangerous an opponent before seeing what she currently has access to. Many of her powers come from imprisoned supervillains, such as the enhanced senses from Sphyrnidae.
Also, the swords are important parts of her repertoire. They're tinker tech, meaning they cost a fortune need consistent upkeep. Without getting into specifics, if she's using a power to project some type of energy, her swords are replicating that. You don't know fear and until the most powerful woman in the world stalks toward you, flaming sword in each hand.
Let's get into common public knowledge.
• native to Earth Bet
• really likes her swords
• rarely works alone
• member of the Protectorate
• large cache of powers

Today I came across the best joke from Czechoslovakia under the Nazi protectorate:
When children steal stuff, we call it mania. When adults do it, it's kleptomania. And when someone steals what they want and always gets away with it, we call it Germania.

#WORLD52 WEEK 11 SUBMISSION:
BATTLE BROTHERS & THE PROTECTORATE OF MAN
Hey Voyagers! It's Week 11 of #WORLD52, and I'm dropping a little lore for my Grimdark Future Transhuman Drama Webcomic-
Tumblr media
For those of you who've been following all my latest updates (including the ones on my PATREON...), BROTHERS: A TALE OF TREACHERY & WOE is set in the universe of GRIMDARK FUTURE, which has a rich lore all of it's own! So, while our tale takes place far from the SIRIUS SECTOR of most of the narrative of GRIMDARK FUTURE, I still think it serves us well to get in a little framing. Especially around our Transhuman Protagonists!
Let's get into it!
-------------------------LORE BEYOND HERE-------------------------
While the Charybdis Sector is separated from the Sirius Sector by many months of travel (even by the most expedient and unstable Warpgates), the influence of THE PROTECTORATE OF MAN is felt everywhere across the sector. The Watch Charybdis and the Brotherhoods of the Four Watch Detachments
To understand The Protectorate of Man's present, one must understand it's past.
Even before humanity was thrown into the Sirius Sector against its will, mankind was at war with itself. A singular figure, known as the Founder, had overthrown much of humanity's governments, chasing an idyllic vision of humanity uplifted through genetic modification and dedication to their own galactic supremacy. This Founder created the first Battle Brothers: transhuman supersoldiers clad in technologically advanced warsuits, and enhanced by the cutting edge of combat gene mods. With these soldiers, he began to spread his doctrine across the territories and colonies of humanity, backed by the boot and the blade of his growing transhuman army. But humankind resists would be dictators on impulse, and where some saw the Founder's vision as a beacon of order and promise, others saw authoritarian ambition and fear. Even among the Brothers themselves, the divide emerged, splitting the transhuman supersoldiers between those who felt the future of mankind was worth any sacrifice, and those who felt that humanity without choice wasn't humanity at all. In their final battle space battle, the Loyalist Followers of the Founder chased down a fleet of refugees fleeing for deep space, only for both fleets to find themselves pulled through a freak wormhole and dropped into the alien expanse of the Sirius Sector, scattered and disoriented far from the light of Sol. The Founder, slain in the final moments of the battle, his consciousness & memories copied into a cloned body, surveyed the chaos of this new scenario, and set about making the most of the opportunity forced upon them over the new few millennia. The new nation-state the now-called Conduit created is the modern PROTECTORATE, an empire built on mathematical precision, the unrelenting pursuit of scientific advancement, and a militantly human-supremacist mindset that often make foes of the many non-human sentients that call the Sirius Sector their home.
Citizens live in the shadow of soaring towers of shining glass and fluttering banners, their industrious lives turned towards the furthering of their culture and their military supremacy. Even play and education, while encouraged, are built on a framework of competition and ambitious self-honing, of winners and losers and testing oneself against one's limits to chase the glorious future the Conduit sees for them. And while the gene-sculpted citizens of the Protectorates find themselves living healthy lives in the light, outsiders and non-humans those who find themselves under the banner of the Conduit's empire find themselves relegated to the edges of society, controlled in movement and forced to suffer the oppressive consequences of the civilizations authoritarian dreams.
The backbone of this civilization is the Battle Brothers, whose many fleets and detachments of transhuman supersoldiers continues to be it's primary source of military power. Focused, hyper competent and having long left the limits of their humanity behind, they embody the hopes of the Conduit: a humanity perfected through science and will.
The term "Brothers" is technically something of a misnomer, since the ranks of their detachments are not mono-gendered, and many human women, intersex & transexual volunteers serve in their ranks with pride and distinction. Their forces are divided into Detachments, autonomous forces with their own internal cultures, iconography and styles of warfare. While all the Brotherhoods serve the vision of the Conduit and heed his call to war and battle, they have significant autonomy in how they achieve their goals, and use that strategic latitude to pursue their goal in their own ruthless ways.
Despite the thriving of the Protectorate, the Conduit and the Battle Brothers still dream of the light of Sol, and their banner soaring over their homeworld. The odds of making such a journey are suicidally slim, for even all these years later, the path back to their home in the Milky Way is still hidden, and so distant as to be laughably impossible to even attempt to trip, even if they did know the way. So, the Conduit commissions detachments of Brothers to explore the borders of the Sirius Sector, and the uncharted places beyond its edge, in hopes it may one day lead to a path home.
So the Charybdis Sector was explored and settled, and for hundreds of years, endured as an outpost of the Protectorate, ruled by the Brothers assigned to the Watch Charybdis as their fiefdoms, controlled and run in the ways they saw fit. But pride comes before a fall, and the Sector plunged into civil war and chaos as rebellion and local non-human empires struck at the isolated colonists. It took centuries to send out reinforcements, and by the time they arrived, only the Arachnia Astra remained of the original four Watch detachments, and the sector was .
It has been hundreds of years since the reestablishment of the Watch Charybdis, and now the detachments of the Knights Numenarie, Venators Titian, Guardians Culprite and Arachnia Astra seek to rebuild their holdings in the sector. Yet they are far from the heart of the Protectorate, and so far from the light of the Conduit and the shining halls of Lucipol, and in the shadow of the yawning maw of Charybdis, the Brothers will find their purpose questioned, their faith tested, and their beliefs shattered. Only time will tell if the Watch will hold the sector, or if the worlds of Charybdis are truly as cursed as some whisper.

How does Lia mourn?
She barely had any chance to really mourn so far.
Her first huge loss was after she escaped Jaha and the Vitalia, and she really only had few hours of the day after to rest and cry her people, because after that she had to leave with Igris and the goddesses reached out to her to task her with her current mission. When Igris risked to be permanently possessed by a demon, she immediately called for reinforcements so that he could be freed. When Hoyt died, she had no idea of what had just happened, enough to waste a healing spell on his corpse; after that, she refused to accept he was gone, and luckily she was able to get a Resurrection ritual organized for him in no time. When they found the corpse of Stormhand in Iadenveigh, Keelu in Bodie's Haunt, when Boffy was murdered and Yada turned to dust, they were really little more than acquaintances to her, so she really didn't experience mourning despite feeling very sad. When Arshea turned to dust, she couldn't believe she had gone, and she still can't process that - all the more because she's a goddess, she's supposed to be immortal, right..?
The first very act of mourning she did was in Outsea, when she left her Jahan spear, the pirate hat and some seashells in Opak's care for the fallen of the lake. But even then, she seems to have a complete rejection towards death, and she expresses full denial when she has to face it. Who knows if she'll ever have a chance to learn this experience before she dies herself; that's her main concern at the moment.

📄 Journal Entry 014 – The Game Board Fractures Initiative Strategic Journal — Personal Log Commander’s Desk | November 15 – November 22, 2022 Clearance Level: Eyes Only
The rules of engagement are shifting. Not because the aliens have made their move, but because we have.
Or rather—because everyone else has.
In less than a month, Earth’s board has fractured into warring ideologies, hidden hands, and militarized agendas. While we’ve kept our movements surgical, our rivals have begun painting in fire.
I. The Silent Hand in Africa
Phillip Minton continues to prove his worth in Nairobi. His second advisory deployment was a success—yielding modest but real returns: increased national research output, stronger investment channels, and improved military readiness. Kenya is becoming what we hoped it could be: a sovereign vessel for Initiative policy, protected by legality, and disguised by bureaucracy.
In Rwanda, Kalameet Lund has gone to ground. After securing our second foothold, his presence in Kigali was detected by unknown elements. That made twice in two cycles. We cannot afford a third. He remains dark, but ready. I won’t risk him unless the mission requires it.
II. The Tech Mogul of Amsterdam
Yiyuan Ai continues her methodical dissection of the geopolitical fabric. This cycle, she succeeded in uncovering the identity and alignment of a second enemy agent: Mbhali Kgoloko, a South African-born financier and tech mogul, now operating under the flag of the Protectorate in Amsterdam.
Kgoloko is the second confirmed Protectorate operative in Western Europe. The first was Iribar—Servant-aligned—in Brussels. The presence of both factions in the Benelux corridor signals something more than ideological spread. They are building infrastructure—policy hubs, cover networks, and influence matrices.
We are watching their edges sharpen.
III. A Map Redrawn in Shadow
The most disturbing revelations were not ones we uncovered through espionage—but ones that exploded into view.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps is now officially under the command of Humanity First. Their doctrine of xenophobic resistance has found a nation—and a military. Iran’s power projection, missile capacity, and geographic leverage now belong to a faction that does not believe in negotiation. Only extermination.
The United Kingdom’s 1st Division has also shifted. The Protectorate now controls this elite land force. Whether through backroom influence or ideological realignment, the outcome is the same: a critical NATO military structure now reports to a faction advocating submission to alien overlords.
Yemen has collapsed into a coup. The situation remains fluid, but early signals suggest a foreign-aligned reorganization, likely inspired or assisted by one of the major factions. A vacuum is forming near the Horn of Africa.
In Pakistan, a new operative has been detected—unaffiliated and unidentified, but active in the Lahore–Islamabad corridor. The region has already fallen under partial Servant influence. Now, additional players are embedding. Whether they are Servants, Humanity First, or something else remains unclear.
A second unknown agent was detected in London. That brings the current active, hostile, or ambiguous operatives in Western Europe to at least four. We are surrounded—but not outmatched.
IV. Evaluation
Our assets remain operational. We’ve taken no direct losses. And yet, the tempo is rising. We are no longer operating in a fragmented world. We are navigating a multipolar war of alignment, fought in boardrooms, consulates, city councils, and radio towers.
The aliens have not yet declared war. But Earth has.
Directives Forward:
Secure intelligence on London- and Lahore-based operatives.
Begin evaluating targets for counter-counselor operations—detain, neutralize, purge.
Expand Kenya’s domestic tech sector to prepare for regional research hubs.
Re-engage Kalameet if regional threat levels allow.
Prepare influence package for Uganda or Ethiopia—potential third anchor state.
We are not isolated. We are not yet strong. But we are positioned.
And sometimes, position is the only thing that matters—until the knife slides forward.

2008 Is after I left for College
This hinges off of the fact I wasn't aware of meat's role in the problems at the home. I found vegan-S in 2018.
POLICE were protecting around I could see before 2008 in Virginia Beach going to school & working. There was 0% theft inside the SAW household or any others I visited. There was only one house I visited where it looked like a huge maze of stuff a-mess to try to safely hide stuff or it was that he was a deep-eye smart boy my age. It afforded his dad protection for POLICE & Sheriff who could turn away as all report it's fine, but he live on the same street & block(down toward Chavez court on the opposite side) as I did. I remember that he was caucasian--some type of blond hair. He invited me over in the haze.
I left the SAW household because of meat-S or something deeper the Asian part of the flag against the green(SAW& my mom when with SAW) part.
Tumblr media
Before you forget, this is the flag under-which friendly gatherings are had including Bible study & even AA meetings. Nichiren Buddhist meetings {chant Namyo Horengekyo} under as many flags as they can.

A 1924 map of the British Empire and the route of The Empire Cruise, produced by the Royal Navy. Uniquely, it shows the obscure British Protectorate of the Sultanate of Nejd, the orange blob in the centre of Arabia, which was established by the 1915 Treaty of Darin. The Saudi state was legally an Ottoman suzerainty prior to the signing of the Treaty of Darin.
