In lesser terms, the problem with this idea of “inclusivity” within an intrinsically repressive patriarchal system is that it is sustained on a smoke screen that hides the rottenest veins of the state, because then what is relevant is not the dismantling of an oppressive, enslaving, and genocidal political system, but the lack of female participation within that oppressive, enslaving, and genocidal political system. To this specific “woke feminist” fandom that is the real problem, that is the real issue within such a mindset.

Women are forbidden or diminished from positions of power in a structure specifically designed to oppress different groups of people to keep others at the top of the pyramid, and instead of seeing such a construction as a direct reflection of the real world’s dogmas and the characters that oppose them as real world’s feminist, you lot complain about the lack of female representation or “female power” within that maniacal structure! You’re more concerned about women not being “housewives” inside a military state that rewards blind nationalism and punishes criticism with literal genocide, than dismantling the entire structure upon which such a patriarchal notion is built.

Funnily enough, even when I point this out, they will find a way to twist it to their own benefit, because then Kishimoto is the one responsible for not “allowing” female characters to rise against such a patriarchal system (despite Sakura never suffering any of its worst consequences as she was taught by the Hokage herself, or even Hinata getting to be a slave-owner). Inclusivity is everything that this argument boils down to, your twisted wish to see women at every single panel whether it’ll be against or in favor of a genocidal state.

That’s what “woke feminists” taught you and that’s what you’ll defend with your breath, the problem gets again individualized and the real issue, the real problem that the plot is trying to reflect, gets buried upon piles of these arguments.

“The problem is about the military state that at its core it’s patriarchal” =/= “Then why did he write it as a patriarchal state?”

“The military state it’s patriarchal at its core so it’s the real world one” =/= “Then why didn’t he write female characters rising against it?”

And so on… it’s impossible to “win” or get our point across as you move the end goal every time a new argument arises. It’s about fulfilling your power fantasies of invincibility rather than bringing down the patriarchal structure; just like with Naruto’s character, is about gaining acknowledgment within the oppressive system (becoming a renowned/desired individual) rather than dismantling the power sphere to guarantee other minorities’ safety.

Their idea of feminism comes down to women having a more important part inside that tyrannical paradigm, bringing the power scale towards them. It’s not about stripping oppressive institutions of their power, but rather having influence over such spaces.

This is an example of White Feminism’s victory; white feminism doesn’t want the oppressive structure to be questioned, they don’t want their faint position of power to be argued; they want to expand their influence and reach beyond the usual cultural “female” spaces, so they bring down the discussion to simpler topics, like the idea of female participation in such affairs; if they are involved, then it’s good if they’re not, then it’s not.

Even the fact that many of these "feminists" jump to the other side and incur either in the over-festivity of the capabilities of female characters (some being basic skills such as moving with speed) or in the minimization of such to compare them with the "better" male capabilities (which only serve in more violent, clearly patriarchal issues to which these people consider superior given a clear misogynist internalization of the little relevance of powers that are not aligned with the intrinsic violence of the military system) contradicts their supposed dogma.

Under this premise, and I repeat myself because I must keep my arguments as simple and repetitive as possible, the patriarchal system against which they claim to rebel is sustained and deepened since the women who claim to subscribe to the feminist movement have modified their bases to obtain greater relevance, greater individuality among the exploited community -they stop being oppressed to some degree as a reward for their contribution, they become what they swore to destroy in exchange for “inclusion.”

True feminism is about the dismantling of an oppressive structure, passing through the various spheres of repression; gender disparity is only one of many power relations to be questioned, not the only one.

The Undead of Elliot Manor

1. A was the first Zombie Drone besides the NVJ trio. She was cold and very hard-working, but she could let her cold exterior and professional attitude rest and take a break once in a while.

2. [1] B worked in the Elliot Manor kitchen with her sister U. The kitchen Workers had to be extra careful to live up to the Mistress' standards. B was unlucky and ended up being killed with a butcher knife to the head.

3. C was both rewarded and punished the night of his disassembly. He was rewarded for sneaking that tape to Mistress Tessa and he was punished for sneaking said tape to Mistress Tessa. He was rewarded by being reactivated and punished by having to spend a week surrounded by the dead bodies of his unfortunate co-workers.

4. D loved the outdoors. He loved staring out the window at the swamp that surrounded Elliot Manor. He loved looking at pictures of Earth in its prime. He loved seeing the different environments of Earth and its colonies.

5. E was a bit of a romantic. She saw the sparks, both literal and not, flying between N and V. She worked with Tessa and some of the others to try and set them up.

6. F was a team-player. He always tried to be. Tried to be in sync with his fellow Workers, even after his death.

7. G was a very fiery Worker. She was more expressive and a bit of a daredevil. This made her one of Tessa’s favourites besides the NVJ trio and Cyn.

8. H was programmed with every known form of swordplay. With J, she was one of Tessa’s teachers in how to wield a sword. She wished that Tessa would stop trying to change every single Worker in the Manor.

9. I was bit of an idealist. He believed that one day, everything would be okay. That they wouldn’t have to worry about the cruelty of the Master and Mistress.

11. K was one of the strongest Workers in the Manor, nearly tied with N. This resulted in Tessa starting many a competition between the two of them to find out who was the strongest.

12. L was a bit of a gambler. He was fascinated by the idea of Lady Luck. After he became part of Tessa’s group of Zombie Drones, Tessa gave him a pair of dice for good luck.

13. M loved creating things. He considered himself a bit of an artist and one day hoped that he could create something without the fear of cruel masters tearing it down and punishing him.

14. N was often called [2] ‘Golden Boy’ by many of his co-workers because he was like a Golden Retriever. He was gentle and friendly. He even had hair like a Golden Retriever.

15. O always had a sharp eye for detail. He always admired the architecture and landscape around him. He didn’t notice how withdrew and different Cyn was acting in the weeks leading up to the Gala.

16. P was both disgusted and intrigued when the Master and Mistress shown the power they had over him and the others. He wondered what it was like. Having power over whether someone lived…or died.

17. Q was in charge of lookout duty when Tessa and the others were up to mischief. He had to stay alert at all times and keep an eye out for the Master or the Mistress.

18. R loved sneaking into the Library during breaks. Like N, he loved looking at the animal books. Instead of dogs, though, he loved looking at the majestic kings of the sky, eagles.

19. S was a bit of a laidback Worker. Always ready to go with the flow. It got her killed by the Mistress when she wasn’t quick enough

20. T was honest. Well, most of the time. He knew when he had to lie to cover Tessa and the others.

21. U wept when B was killed. After much crying, she became closed-off and began marching around the Manor in search of the Mistress. She didn’t care what would happen.

22. V couldn’t do anything. She couldn’t say anything. She couldn’t move. She couldn’t scream even as wings sprouted from her back.

23. W grinned as she helped V move some gardening supplies. Every Worker in the Manor looked up to Mistress Tessa and both loved and envied her little circle of Zombie Drones. She was happy when she finally got to join them.

24. X was a prankster. Every April Fools, every Worker would make sure to stay out of her sight or else they would suffer one of her pranks. Sometimes, Tessa was her partner-in-crime. Other times, one of her victims.

25. Y was a curious Worker. He asked way too many questions for his own good. He learned that lesson when he got disassembled.

26. Z was one of Tessa’s bodyguards. J was the swordmaster. Z was the shooter. Too bad she got stuck in an Error 606 in the lead-up to the Gala.

27. Cyn wept in the Void. She couldn’t do anything. It was all her fault. She made a deal with the Devil and now everyone she cared about had paid for it.

For this specific cop au I have rattling around my brain right now, here are the headcanons:

Spider is fifteen or sixteen when he’s first apprehended by law enforcement. He’s been hanging around with a few of the other guys from the kids home and drinking on street corners when someone calls the cops on them for underage drinking.

He wouldn’t normally drink but it’s the people he hangs out with that sway him. He’s good friends with some of the guys because they’ve all gone through the same shit together.

He’s been in a few foster homes but they’re always short term/emergency placements so for all the good they do they’re pretty much pointless

Paz was a single mum after spider was born because Quaritch was afraid of commitment. He offered to pay child support but Paz would rather be independent and kind of releases W of his responsibilities. She died when spider was maybe six or seven, and spider never had contact with his dad. When she died, Q was serving in the marines abroad, and Paz didn’t put him on the birth certificate anyway so he was never contacted.

Spider has always wondered about his dad but he doesn’t know the first thing about him.

It’s tough growing up without parents, but it’s even tougher when you had a secure, loving relationship that was wrenched away from you, so Spider has had to find his own ways of coping.

When he was younger, that meant shutting himself in his room and drawing his feelings away. As he grew older, that meant hanging out with like minded people and repressing his hurt and anger into more concerning outlets. (Drinking, vaping, weed and then more hardcore drugs).

He has several run ins with the cops, not all of them Quaritch. Some are worse than others and after a couple of bad experiences he’s obviously pretty distrustful of the police and sassy when he should really be respectful. This has on occasion led him to harsher punishments than his crime warranted.

He still has his mum’s necklace that he wears 24/7. It’s his most prized possession.

At the time of meeting Q, he’s on the run from the kids home. I think this is because he’s sick of having his things stolen and just wants a bit more freedom. He’s not a bad kid and is perfectly respectful to the staff and other kids but there’s a couple of older teenagers that live there who make threats and generally make his life hell.

His walls are up and he doesn’t trust anyone. Partly because of knowing his father couldn’t care less about him

Quaritch

Was a marine in his younger years, working his way up the ranks and serving many tours abroad

Met Paz in his early twenties, then spider was conceived and Q was simply not ready for the responsibilities of settling down and being a father - his life was only just beginning and his career was calling.

He parted from Paz in a bittersweet way - there wasn’t any animosity and the two still harboured affection for each other, but it was clear they needed to go their separate ways and Paz was fine with that

In his thirties he sustained an injury on tour that prevented him from serving again, so he changed to the police force and managed to become a lieutenant colonel

He’s been recognised on a state level and rewarded for his service to the city, receiving several awards and earning a high level of respect from colleagues both above and below him. He has hopes to become chief of police when the time is right

He enjoys the work but when he’s out on patrol he often hopes for the more high stakes cases that involve danger instead of just picking up petty crime or responding to domestics.

That’s not to say he doesn’t have a caring side - it just rarely comes out.

He’s a workaholic and hasn’t found a life partner yet, despite enjoying himself when he was younger. Now, he just likes to take on as many shifts as possible and focus on keeping the streets safe. As a result he earns a lot and lives comfortably

He doesn’t know that Paz is dead, and sometimes he will remember and think about how Paz and his son are doing, but he doesn’t feel the need to disrupt that or try to contact his son.

If he cooperates, his collar is chained in place but otherwise he can use his hands. If he fights baths/grooming then they leave him be - one time he fights during a shower & they throw him back in wet & miserable.

is taken care of, regularly groomed, gets some rudimentary exercise, and then gets strapped in to a room for experiments (like hypnotizing/conditioning, drugs)

Maybe restrained in a soundproof blacked out room for punishments (or like a padded chest?)? brightly lit but ambient/back so he can't damage his vision, active soundproofing but with possible words just on the edge of intelligible. not fully married to this concept, pure spitballing on this

trainer is a woman, maybe? they have him kill a guy or maybe several. tell him he will be rewarded if he kills him, lets him loose in a room w the guy, the other guy has a weapon (but is still no match for a half-feral Bond).

maybe several months in Q is captured as well (mostly I want to get him there somehow so he knows JB's commands and Bond gets familiarized with him lol. Maybe Q kept looking for Bond on the downlow & either he hared off to chase a lead or they tracked him back & caught him out somehow. anyway they bring him in and see Bond responding to his presence and decide to see if using Q can push their experiments further), told to handle him or else JB would be punished. they have to prove it to him (i.e. he refuses, so they punish Bond), but then he complies. JB doesn't seem cognizant of him but has some seeds of recognition- that helps establish the bond. tries to get unruly but they injure Q nonlethally to get JB protective and keep him in line (with further threats to Q). Maybe they have Q fitted with some kind of shock collar too?

takes a week or 2(?) for mi6 to show up and clear house, by that point Q knows his commands & is also the only one who can handle him after all the bad guys are taken out. keep JB sedated during transport, restrained at first but it was causing him distress so they moved them into the same room together, Q convinces JB to stay put in bed for the time being. JB staring at the staff with cold blank almost unblinking eyes, like a wolf's stare. is still nonverbal at first and very guarded. very protective of Q but also follows his commands if like Q tells him to comply w medical staff, stay put if Q needs to debrief or whatever, etc.

(lmao imagine you are a MI6 security personnel approaching Q shortly after they are rescued and maybe are in medical or sth, and you need to get Q or *handwaves* something. anyway- you are this guy, you are approaching the Quartermaster, and then a hostile 00 appears from who knows where to firmly intercept and also start approaching you hostilely, all the while emitting a sound from deep in his throat that can only be termed growling. And then the Quartermaster goes (sharply) Bond! Leave it! Heel! and he does that- falls silent, retreats to the Quartermaster's side, though continues to pin you with this cold blank wolf stare. girl, this is so beyond your pay grade)

When they're recovered, JB gets more sleep, food, weaned off the drugs etc- starts to mentally recover but still gets jags of disorientation where he falls into the altered half-feral kind of mindset. Keeps trying to “guard” Q. Q develops a habit of keeping a hand on JB to steady/reassure/ground him - this can be like a hand on his arm, or leaning into his side if they're standing together, or a hand at the nape of his neck just cuz I like that :3

also at some pt Q needs to be sitting somewhere doing work and Bond's gotta be sitting/kneeling next to him with his head in Q's lap, while Q is stroking his head (yes like one of those large dog who still thinks he's a lap puppy)

Promotional cards are only distinct from their base counterparts by the white-colored icon in the top right-hand corner. Promos are just alternate art versions of existing cards, but are exceptionally rare as they could not be obtained in booster packs or starter boxes, instead only being available via tournament participation, as convention handouts, coupled with other media, or even as reward exclusives.

Two sets of CC TCG promo cards exist, one for each expansion.

This card is the alt-art release of Crime and Punishment #61 (uncommon rarity) and was originally released in a sanctioned Tournament Kit, which retailers could obtain free of charge by registering as a host to run local tournaments. According to Score Entertainment's Event Manual from mid-2005, each tournament kit supported 20 players and included 20 participation cards (changing depending on the current booster), a binder, poster, score sheet, and retail sheet.

Early sale sheets for this set show that Score originally intended to release rares as foil cards for this TCG (1 per booster pack). I imagine this was also the plan for promos but have heard from other collectors that they ultimately didn't bother as the TCG had already been written off prior to production. However, as info about this game—let alone surviving documentation—is so scarce... I cannot confirm with a source, so take this with a grain of salt.
