actually in hindsight why did Rick repeatedly have Piper solve all the ghost problems on the Argo II when. Hazel was right there. A daughter of Pluto. who by all logic should be able to control ghosts even a little bit. like, we know she has at least some of those types of powers. she just never gets to actually practically use them. ever. and then when there are zombies Hazel once again. does not get to use her powers about it. what.

I think mayhaps that Batman should exclusively be a member of the Justice League Dark. He doesn't really like working with people but also sometimes John Constantine is like "You know Batsy, If you help me save the world by proxy it saves Gotham" So he does begrudgingly. But only sometimes when they need help with some things because he's like a very good detective and sometimes you need that! But also mostly I just want the rest of the Justice League to not believe that The Batman is real??

There's an issue that they need dealt with and they think it's a demon so they call Constantine and he's like "nah mate, this is just weird ritualistic sacrifices, I got a call to B-man on this one"

And Superman is like "haha The Batman isn't real... Right?" And then they meet him and he is very much real.

And Diana is all like "Oh Clark you silly, obviously The Batman is real" But internally she's like "holy shit The Batman is real???"

Green Arrow still doesn't believe it because he keeps missing any mission that The Batman happens to go on and he's like "If The Batman was real my best friend Brucie Wayne would have told me so. Brucey said that the Batman is just a scare tactic created by the Gotham Police department" So he's pretty sure that the rest of the Justice League is just playing a long practical joke against him specifically

had a dream about a mid-apocalyptic dystopian town, forced under a strict regime by a need to survive. People who bent or broke the rules, even accidentally, were imprisoned, straight-up beaten on the spot by guards, or publicly tortured depending on the offense.

Now this is a Very Whumpy Setting, but the most memorable part of the dream was me trying to stop a guard from beating a man who was obviously having bones broken, and when I yelled for her to stop, she glared at me and went,

"are you trying to stand in the way of the law?"

and I didn't have a good reply so I was just like, "no, I just think you're hot"

And she got all flustered and the guy she was attacking got away lol

#to be fair she WAS hot but acab #irrelevant to this anecdote but worth a tag essay: the guards/police all wore full stormtrooper armor for some reason #and as a budding rebel leader i started raising this as a 'cmon they're clearly just living a power fantasy where did they even get those'#there were some zombies but the actual apocalypse was unclear? maybe a giant freak storm that destroyed a lot #there was an excessive amount of candy especially gummies and i think the little town had been beside a gummy facotory or something #but me and the townspeople started creating a gummy stockpile for an emergency energy supply because we knew when we started to rebel #food supplies would be cut off by the guards #and they wouldn't notice the gummies missing while we planned so they'd at least buy us time to get the upper hand #we figured out they had a very limited supply of ammunition so the big plan was to destroy all the bullets and then go hand to hand #dream log

Having fun working on these Morgan lore dumps, I’ve had all these notes scattered across drafts, discord, and random documents and consolidating them has helped me put together an actual timeline and come up with fun new details for them.

My favorite fictional character of all time is Sophocles' Electra. Being a Jason Todd girlie is simply in my blood.

#there's just something about dying for/being haunted by the family curse (curse of the house of wayne/house of atreus) and then #embracing it to try to end the cycle. the words i could write about electra embracing the kinkilling/jason embracing the #urge that has haunted bruce his whole life both with the intent to put an end to things #bruce WANTS to kill which is why he won't let himself but jason's been on the other side (death) and knows it's not that simple #then there's the whole being raised by a parent whose love is conditional. and what inevitably comes from that. i relate <3 #perhaps not to the point of murder but who can say #anyways. also he's just fun and i love zombies #yes SOPHOCLES' electra i love aeschylus despite his hard on for athens but sophocles really gave my girl the spotlight she deserved
