So, you really are doubling down on this ASP thing aren't you, Boston Dumb Fuck (some final thoughts for a shameful day; for you, in case you are that oblivious now that you have capitulated to the dark side).
(Oh, and for any of his minions out there trolling, I fully entreat you to bubble this up to your stubborn, anxious overlord because he could do some real damage to the world, not just himself)
The negative, and 100 percent correct, comments for the Antisemitism in Schools discussion wasn't enough for you? Try to bury it all you want- the internet (and screenshots) are forever and people know. Not even when Secretary Cardona lamented the normalization of hating Jews, while you were awkwardly flaunting your poison band, tying you to the Nazi wifey, thus making you a perpetrator of this very normalization, did you not get the hint you are not welcomed in this space?
You know you can't have it both ways, right? You can't be the Political Avenger and also be "married" to a racist, antisemetic, fat-shaming, arrogant, selfish xenophob. Your balls aren't nearly strong enough to stratle that fence! Is this so much of a vanity project you are willing to forgo your "egoic narrative", wasting important people's precious time, who are trying to keep the ship we call democracy from sinking, while you look for a pat on the back for rearranging the deck chairs. You know, for someone who is very conscious of odors, you reek of rich white male Privlege. I can smell it through the Bluetooth connection and God does it stink! Didn't know being tone deaf also made you nose blind 🤷♀️.
Are you really going to tackle the big problems that young voters care, or should care, about head on? Are young voters even going to pay attention to what you have to offer? And who are you going to get to speak to your baby website, run by dilatants and clout chasers? I am sure you could get some blowhards like Rafael "Ted" Cruz, Matt "the Frat" Gaetz, and your old friend "Uncle" Tim Scott, but anyone with anything worth speaking to is not going to want to degrade themselves for liars like you. By the way, you may want to get used to the feeling, BDF, because if you don't make some MAJOR changes to your life soon, I sense this is how your dating life will be, too, once the divorce is finalized.
I hope your mama is still proud, because most everyone else is ashamed or embarrassed for you. You don't need to use the website as your personal barometer to tell you that.
PS- Don't make some corny joke tomorrow with the high schoolers about you being old. This isn't about you, and they weren't the ones who decided to "marry" someone 16 years their junior, who looks 26 years their junior and is sucking the life and soul out of you, making you look like you have aged about 10 years since the two kinda, sorta ceremonies. People Magazine's Most Pathetic Man of the Year! Yes, teach the young people how to make good decisions for their future, jackass!

since ive already been pretty open about this and im not afraid to whack a hornets nest i'll go ahead and say it: if you were raising a kid in a pseudo-apocalyptic setting and then you found out that said kid was going to be the one to defeat the eldritch god that you have tried to defeat for half your lifetime and could never manage. that she was going to FACE that eldritch god it was prophesied. you would teach her how to defend herself and how to fight. like god i am not saying hero's trauma from it wasn't justified because i do think the twins took it too far but the initial process of training her makes so much more sense if you approach it at the angle of "this kid is going to do something we've been trying to do since we were twelve and couldn't manage and we might not even be there to help her so we have to make sure she doesn't die in the process" and not "we're going to make her fix our mistakes" it makes sense. goes along with lark's running theme of not being strong enough in the moments that matter and wanting to make sure nobody else ever feels as helpless as he did when walter was injured. goes along with sparrow desperately tempting fate with normal's name- not because normal was an accident, but because sparrow never wanted to lose even one kid to the doodler and it was a fervent, desperate wish to let normal get to be normal

I have a couple of questions concerning a giant bitch
So number one I actually commissioned the giant piece of shit known as calcium cat and I’m wondering what I should do, should I commission another artist to remake it or redraw the thing myself so I can get rid of the old version?
Number two I want to make AU similar in ideas to one small dream so that people can still enjoy it without having anything to do with calcium cat but considering I’m genderfluid not trans I’m just not sure if that would be appropriate
-Signed WhisperingCanvas
Well first thing to remember is that you didn't know at the time you commissioned her she was a bigot.
It's completely up to you for what you want to do though. You can commission another artist or just draw it yourself.
Also you don't need to be trans to make an au like her's. (Even if it's as a "fuck you" or even if it includes characters being trans.)
Although if some people want a VERY cute alternative the @dadmareau is super cute!!!

I know Bill's the big bad demon everyone is afraid of and he will protect his husband at all costs (when no one's looking), but I think it's also worth mentioning that Dipper, even being the dorky, squishy human that he is, also cares about his dumb demon hubby and wants to keep him safe, even if it annoys Bill, and really, he doesn't need protecting the way Dipper does. He isn't going to puff out his chest and get in someone's face like some macho man, but I think Dipper knee-jerk reaction when Bill's in "danger" isn't to just shrug because he's an all-powerful demon who can handle it. If a blast that could level a whole town was aimed at Bill's head (for him, this just means a bad hair day and a new body), Dipper's immediate impulse is to push him out of the way or defend him against whatever wants to kill his familiar. Because he's not thinking "Bill could literally end this match in .3 seconds." He's thinking "if you touch even one hair on that asshole's head, I'm going to knock yours clean off your shoulders." I don't know what the point even is in this post, just that Dipper is this nerdy, unassuming guy who ends up being viciously protective under the right conditions. Like I think Dipper pulls off the bloody and vengeful look SO well that Bill immediately melts and just lets him handle the situation, even though it's not really Dipper's fight to begin with. He's beating the guy to a pulp with zero reserve, and Bill's off to the side swooning and twirling his hair over his man for getting his hands dirty for him.
It's true! While Bill's not the type to enjoy being underestimated, he has to admit! Seeing his adorable husband all riled up on his behalf is a hell of a sight.
The thing is, Dipper's a good guy! He can't help but put himself in danger over others. Even when all reason and logic say that Bill would be absolutely fine if he got his head exploded or a shiv in his kidney, Dipper's instinct is to fully and immediately get in the way of that. To, in fact, be protective.
Mostly this is only evident when Dipper has to stand up to Ford. Yes, yes, Bill's a vile horrible monstrosity, but he didn't do that particular thing you're accusing him of. Watching him stand up to his uncle is a particular treat!
For bigger threats, though - Well. Bill's gonna be absolutely fine, no matter what happens, thank you very much. But he's definitely not opposed to seeing some guy who was about to literally stab him in the back get a few of his teeth knocked out.

AU where Phoenix is just slightly more spiritually sensitive so instead of just being able to hear Mia's ghost, he gets to hang out with his great great (x?) grandfather Ryuunosuke who imprinted on him the moment he decided to become a defense attorney for gay reasons.
Also if anyone could magically be there for Pheonix while Edgeworth is fake-dead it would be Ryuunosuke.
I'm also a staunch believer in both Phoenix and Ryuu having rough/distant relationships with their family so it's funny to think that the only biological family member you can stand is the one that haunts you and looks exactly like you if you time traveled and cut your hair unevenly with safety scissors.

one thing i find really difficult about navigating the IF space is the direct line of contact between readers and authors. we share the same space, and i think that plays a big part in this weird blurred line we have in this community and overall lack of boundaries.
for a lot of people this is a fun hobby and while i personally try to keep it... semi-professional most of the time, it's easy to get wrapped up in having fun on tumblr (or the forums, or reddit, wherever it is that you mainly post/interact) and have a lot of personal interactions with both readers and authors alike - which is fun! i like it more often than not, but i also think that's why a lot of comments in this space can end up being really entitled, over-familiar, and inappropriate.
it's no secret that most authors get really weird messages on here, and while this is also a problem on social media at large and not just specific to IF tumblr, it is still definitely a big problem in this community.
and to be clear i'm not saying that you can't be friendly with authors or readers (i've become friends with a handful of readers myself) and i definitely don't mean to imply that there needs to be a huge divide between us; that's silly - again, most authors are readers, most readers are authors, we’re just people on the internet sharing the same space. but all of us deserve to have our boundaries respected. this is my story, and we are strangers. as a general rule of thumb: if you wouldn't say it out loud to someone you just met, you probably shouldn't be saying it to a stranger online. especially anonymously.

I’ve been thinking about the Oak family player characters, and a relationship with emotions and what they think the “right” emotion/reaction is to feel in a given circumstance. Like maybe I’m just a sucker for parallels and duality, but I think it’s SUPER interesting. What I’ve got so far is this:
Hildy -> Confidence/Bravery vs Fear
Henry -> Kindness/Empathy vs Anger
Normal -> Happiness/Cheer vs Sadness/Misery
Of course these aren’t like perfect descriptors nor are they always complete opposites, but I just find it very interesting how Oaks always tend to cover up the more unpleasant emotions, you know?
