Instead of Ghost King Danny (Monarchies are icky)(Danny deserves better) may I present to you Speaker of Peace Danny

In this headcanon the Infinite Realms are treated as a loose collection of states and peoples that don't always like each other and have no unifying federal government. Speakers are individuals who have earned the respect of those powers by performing some kind of communal service.

Wulf is the Speaker of the Journey, because all travel in the ghost zone has a thirty percent chance of getting so lost you'll never find home again and Wulf, as one of the only proficient portal users around, frequently helps the lost find their way home, earning his title.

Danny earns his title by repeatedly bringing peace through either diplomacy, or beating idiots up until they're ready to listen to that diplomacy. He redefined ghostly/living relations, helped Dora take her throne over her brother who everyone hated, and calmed down four separate wars and helped the ghosts involved find a resolution that wasn't 'kill each other again'.

Basically, Speaker of Peace is the realms interpretation of the superhero duties he's taken on.

At the top of (the) Dragon Mountain

Your adventuring party needs an audience with a powerful dragon for whatever quest is going on. You find a large polar kobold and ask if they can guide you and our party to the dragon of Dragon Mountain, as it is the lair of one of the strongest dragon in the realm. The kobold giggles and corrects you, "Heh, you mean meet the dragon mountain!" shrugging it off as just a Kobold Thing™. As you climb up the largest mountain in the realm, which happens to feel very soft (probably the snow from the never ending snowfalls and blizzards), you finally reach the top, finally meeting the dragon... the literal Dragon Mountain. I hope you had a proper offering... like a borger or a cauldron of mac and cheese. Self-care art, self-indulgent art. Just in mood to be massively fat.

MK Worldbuilding Rant Post

Okay so I got curious to see if there was any canonical maps for the realms since I want to draw maps for each of them and if there are any it'd make it easier for me. There are two different ones for Outworld but-

(1 from Deception Krypt and 2 from MKX phone game with edits from the Reddit post I found them from)

These are horrible in my opinion. Outworld has conquered a minimum of 5 named realms (Edenia, Osh-Tekk, Zaterra, Vaeternus, and Arnyek Islands. 6 if you count the unconfirmed Tarkata) and many more unnamed realms. So I ask- why is it so small???

There is a max of 9 continents (give or take) in it. But the land on the left is labeled "Lost Edenia" so those two landmasses are Edenia and the "Artic Plains" could also Edenia since there's a high possibility it's the cryomancer's homeland so the entire left half it just Edenia. Which leaves the whole of Outworld at just 5 continents. That’s stupid and doesn't make sense!

If Earthrealm, a realm that hasn't conquered a single realm, has 7 naturally occurring continents WHY IS OUTWORLD SO SMALL????

having a stable realm in Crusader Kings almost sucks, like if I had a real internal threat to deal with I wouldn't be half as tempted to just go and try and turn more of the map my color

Another thought. I think the biggest reason (and most relevant) why Gine didn't also fall prey to the propaganda brainwashing like most of the other Saiyans, is because the influence of her suffering was just...stronger than its influence.

She dealt with intense loneliness since the day she was put out of her nursing capsule, as her mother didn't give a shit about her and she was attacked - sometimes brutally wounded - by other children because she wasn't like them (and violence was always advocated for). She was put through hellish training to become a soldier, for a cause that was just meant to line Frieza's own pockets (because let's be real: the Saiyan Army didn't have its own identity and probably wasn't even a thing anymore as is, by her time it was just an extension of the Cold/Frieza Force). Never mind her own experiences with dealing with the racism from Frieza's more loyal & non-Saiyan soldiers.

How horrible she felt mentally and often physically was just enough to not let the brainwashing work out. It didn't let her grow complacent and be satisfied with what little she had, nor was she deluded into believing her pain was worth it because it would lead to something "meaningful".

None of the shit was right. She'd believe that for all of her life, even now as she lives on Earth. If anyone ever asks her about her past of living on Planet Vegeta, I feel like she'd offer a fascinating perspective that you wouldn't get from...literally any of the other pureblooded Saiyans (probably).

What he knew: the scent of humans was faint. The scent of other demons was stronger, though not by much; they'd moved on. Taken and destroyed and devoured and left.

But not everything. The single trailing demon didn't bother with the more difficult parts of the human form, long tail left swinging behind him, horns never quite hidden to begin with even when he did try his best. The glowing eyes and fangs were a little behind his control, but at least the extra appendages were tucked away. He was getting better at it! He thought.

It didn't matter in a place with no humans. He frowned as he caught sight of the ruined hot dog cart. Of course his brethren would have gone there first. Grumbling to himself, he almost missed--

Ice cream! A little melted, but there were eight flavors! All of them sweet! Two of them chocolate!

And all of them ultimately the cause of a thrashing, growling, aching ice cream headache. One which he continued to eat through.

Karlach was exhausted to say the least, that was clear the moment she stepped into camp and the large pack was dropped with a loud thud. Minthara was preparing a few of the smaller mushrooms she had grown within her tent to be hung out to dry when she noted her arrival - had heard her before she had seen her. And then she makes a small approving hum as her Tiefling's arms slide around her. That hum turns into a huffed snicker when a red hand slips under her top to cup her chest and Minthara stops the task to lift a hand into her hair as Karlach's nose dips into her hair. Fingers scritching along her scalp as she turns her head to peck a kiss into her chin.

"Carrying the load of the party again, my darling?" She feels her weight sag against her and Minthara has to lock her knees to hold her up with no trouble. The Drow beckons her to balance herself briefly so she may turn in her arms and then both hands cup her head and she lifts her to take a good long peer into those magnificent, albeit exhausted, flame riddled eyes of hers. Thumb and thenar muscle massaging into her cheek and then caressing over her chin. Red eyes searching the weariness with a heaviness of her own chest and her lips purse. She had always told Karlach to refuse when the treasures of the journey were unloaded onto her shoulders - as if she didn't have so much already to carry. "You are far too kind, my love." Minthara speaks, pulling her head down to place a kiss between her eyes. "Come.. Sit with me, Allow me to unburden you of the weight you carry so you may rest..." She pulls her head into her shoulder, "Oh my Darling, You carry so much already, let me relieve you of the weight."

Thoughts about Greater Demons in the show

My latest rambling thoughts are all about demons and demon summonings. Like, why aren't the princes of hell and other greater demons trying to overthrow the earth all the time? Does every demon need to be summoned in order to cross between the realms? But then, does that mean that Azazel just happened to have been summoned by someone, just in time to make a play for the cup? Alec spoke to Asmodeus through a medium, but Asmodeus wasn't summoned, yet he still managed to cross over. Did Johnathan have to be summoned because of his demon blood and hell residence? Or has he always been able to travel between the realms because he is not fully demon? Or did Lilith send him to the human realm? Lilith was technically summoned by Johnathan when he opened up that huge rift with his blood, but could that possibly be considered more of a … phone call? "Hey Mom, someone killed me, can you come pick me up?" Later she needed Magnus' cooperation to slip through the gap that Magnus held close, but that was specifically because Magnus was holding it closed. Also, she wanted to get through to get revenge on her son, not because she wanted to invade earth. Are the greater demons possibly not even interested in the mundane realm, beyond a few personal circumstances here and there (Azazel wanting the cup, Asmodeus wanting Magnus, Lilith wanting her son).

I don’t remember if it was NADDPOD or some other piece of media that put the idea in my mind that the circles of hell represented the deadly sins, but I was thinking about it recently for a dnd campaign I’m running and realized it dnd make sense because there are 7 sins and 9 circles.

The main reason I was thinking about this was because in said campaign the players have a necklace with a big gemstone on it in which lived an evil wizard who can’t leave. He’s been in there for a while, and some things have changed while he’s been trapped.

So after I had this realization about the circles and the sins I thought it would be really funny if the wizard remembers their being 7 circles for the 7 sins and is baffled by the fact that their are 9 circles now.

“What, did they add 2 sins? Is murder and larceny bad now?”

I don’t actually know what the two extra sins would be, so lmk if you have a funny idea.
