hot take but i don’t think steve and mr curtis were all too close.

in my head, steve takes issue with most older, male figures of authority. that’s why him and darry don’t get along. darry has no business bossing him around, he’s not a damn baby. he can handle his own. he struggles with it at work and school too—he’s gotten numerous detentions and warnings from teachers and bosses alike to “fix his attitude” and “control his temper better”. it doesn’t change with the curtises. he doesn’t like letting himself get close to many people, especially not anyone who could be a potential father figure. it’s not out of fear as much as it is distrust, and mr curtis wasn’t much of an exception. he was kinda distant with him—usually just giving one word answers a lot of the time. maybe if he was with soda the tension in his shoulders wasn’t as visible. steve wasn’t trying to be rude, but why should he open up to this man he barely knows? why does he even care about him? it’s not like he’s his son or anything. how come the rest of the gang treats them like family when they’re not? he doesn’t get it.

part of him regrets it when they die. as he gets older, he realizes they just wanted to help, and he appreciated the effort, he really did…but he didn’t trust him. maybe he was intimidated—mr curtis was a big guy, he wasn’t like his own dad at all; mr curtis was tall and broad. he looked like he could get into a fight a bear and win with his hands tied behind his back. he couldn’t trust him. he didn’t understand it—johnny had it just as bad as him, maybe worse, and he had no problem going to them. opening up, but steve? he wouldn’t. he couldn’t, he wouldn’t, and he never did.

Do you think Wesker slept with Excella?

Personally I thought this was only a concept they scrapped and which didn't make it to the actual game. Also when she touched and flirted with him he was annoyed and pushed her away. She definitely wants this, he doesn't. I don't think they would have added that scene if they want the player to think that they've been intimate. But someone on Twitter claimed that Wesker and Excella definitely slept with eachother but Wesker fans do not want to accept this and deny it. But I believe he lied to and told her they will become a couple *in the future* when he achieved his goals and she was useful to him. That probably was already enough to keep her by his side so he simply didn't sleep with her since it wasn't necessary.

But maybe I simply misunderstood (I admit I have sometimes trouble to read scenes in the correct way)

I don't think he ever slept with Excella, honestly. I know what concept you're talking about though! I'm pretty sure they scrapped it, and just made it where Excella is propositioning him. From what I gathered from the scene she was basically asking to be his partner for the New World, and it didn't seem something agreed upon. I also think Wesker was the only man she couldn't win over with her looks, and she deemed him the only 'worthy' one for her as well.

I don't think Wesker is above using sex as a manipulation tactic, though and I do think he used her feelings for him against her and to string him along.

i hope you all know my partner and i are roleplaying STARS era with characters and stuff and we obviously like added things and took out things etc etc… but we also gave albert wesker a bunch of siblings who are younger than him (the youngest being 18 at the time of the roleplay, the two that are the second oldest both being 20). and we have this whole idea where it turned out when albert got cherry picked to be a wesker, to work at umbrella, his parents were kept close and when they kept producing “failures” (because umbrella wanted another albert basically) they killed off the parents and basically forced all the siblings into being umbrella’s test subjects…

and it’s super fun and there’s a lot of angst and we’re having a plot line where one of the 20 year olds (a twin) KILLED a bunch of guards and escaped and now hes hunting down people and yes i’m rambling…
