Child of Narinder
— Child of Narinder
Child of Narinder: a flag for those who are demigods/demiprimordials who are children of the revive of the old faith bishop, Narinder.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: two identically designed rectangular flags of 5 uneven horizontal stripes, the center stripe is the thinnest stripe and has a continuous diamond-like shape with it connecting to the center sphere that has a simple bumpy outline. The first flag has a symbol on the center that is a black triangle pointing downwards with the sphere being colored sandy brown with a red center fading in a blur to the outline and the second flag is blank. The colors go from top to bottom as dark greyish purple, dark red, black, dark red, and dark greyish purple./end ID]
Design notes; wasn't exactly sure what symbol to go with so I left one blank. The colors are just, color picked from Nariander. I've used @rwuffles's child of deity flag.
Requested by anon.

everytime i’m in the bath my reflection looks back at me from whatever that thing is just below the faucet. its beautiful. sad. warm. lonely.
i’m surrounded by my things. shampoo. conditioner. a shaver and some extra blade for one i don’t own anymore. i dont know why i haven’t thrown them out. a cup. a brush. a wash cloth. whatever those thing that you use to scrub of dead skin with is called—two of the actually.
nothing dead will remain on my body once i get out, only inside. that decay can’t be removed with soap. though, the water does help. it cleanses the body and the soul. it’s heat helps sweat out impurities. that, with the exfoliating body wash, makes sure nothing is left to could contaminate a person. everything, washed away to disappear done the drain.
i scrub it away till my skin is raw. a new layer. a new person. i create a new me. a fresh me. watching myself the whole time through a fisheye lens. a distorted reflection. curving my body.my church.my place of refuge.a holy place.
i can pull the shower curtain closed. i can shut off all the lights. disappear under the water till the oxygen depletes and the air that filled me becomes toxic. baptizing myself. the world is gone. all that exist is me and my reflection and the water the surrounds us.
i stare at her. she has big eyes. her body is curved and misshapen. it not really me. an alien of my creation. i put my fingers inside me. rock my hips back and forth. she does the same. her mouth opens. my eyes close. i wonder if hers do too? i kiss her then return to the water. letting it cover everything but my nose. it hums to me almost as if it’s whispering something in my ear. maybe it’s her.
i never want to leave. though sometimes i can’t even look at it. the thought of touching it scares me. not because i don’t have the energy. i don’t want to dirty it. i can’t. a sacred place must be respected. it must be clean. if i step in i could contaminate it. my corruption might bleed into its walls. clean. white. cold. i’d be condemning it to the same fate as me.
thought this has never happened. it has only washed those thoughts away, allowing me to return to the world anew— it remains untouched. pure and clean. my disease did not spread, but it still might one day. so tonight i sit with my back to it. a holy site not worthy of my eyes. the idea of my reflection makes me sick. so beautiful. i can’t stand to look at her. i revile her. i worship her. she should be loved.

💛 Webring Wednesday #6: Christians of the Internet Webring 💛
Christians of the Internet is a webring made to help fellow believers find each other out in the wild west of the Small Web. It's a welcoming way to build connection and community between Christian-run sites. Whether your site is focused on faith, personal reflections, or something completely unrelated but made with love, this ring is about being present and connected in the digital space as people of faith.
What’s especially nice about this webring is that it doesn’t push a particular denomination or doctrine. It’s more about encouragement and shared values—an internet version of waving to your neighbors from across the street. If you're a Christian with a personal site and you're looking to feel a little less isolated online, this might be exactly the kind of small but meaningful connection you're after.
Check it out here: https://christian-webring.nekoweb.org

Christ Church Geelong | Where History and Faith Converge
Tumblr media
Christ Church Geelong is a magnificent Anglican church that has long stood as one of the city’s oldest surviving places of worship. Located at the edge of Geelong's city center on Moorabool Street, the church is an enduring landmark that continues to welcome visitors with its serene atmosphere, storied past, and distinctive sandstone presence. Its age, history, and architectural beauty make it a treasured stop for anyone exploring the spiritual and cultural layers of Geelong.
Historical Significance
Founded in 1843, Christ Church Geelong is one of the oldest Anglican churches still in continuous use in Victoria. It was designed by Edmund Blacket, a prominent colonial architect who helped shape the Gothic Revival style of many churches across Australia. The first service was held in a modest wooden building, but as the population of Geelong expanded during the gold rush, the church was rebuilt in stone in 1855 to meet the needs of a growing congregation.
The church has been an important institution through multiple chapters of local history, from supporting local families through economic upheaval to providing community space during both World Wars. It has served as a sanctuary, a cultural hub, and a guardian of sacred tradition. Even today, Christ Church Geelong retains its original font, pulpit, and memorials—testaments to the generations who have passed through its doors.
When to Go
Christ Church Geelong is open throughout the year, with seasonal services and community events that bring the historic space to life. Spring is especially charming, with flowers blooming in the surrounding gardens, while the winter season highlights the interior’s warm ambiance and stained-glass beauty.
Sunday mornings are perfect for experiencing a traditional Anglican service. However, if you prefer a quieter, more reflective visit, weekday afternoons are usually peaceful and ideal for appreciating the church’s interior architecture, wooden fittings, and historical plaques. Special times like Christmas, Easter, and Anzac Day offer meaningful ceremonies steeped in tradition.
What to Do
Visitors to Christ Church Geelong are immediately struck by its exterior made of locally sourced sandstone and its classic Gothic Revival design, including pointed arches, a square bell tower, and intricately designed stained-glass windows. Step inside, and you’ll find a sanctuary filled with carved woodwork, a pipe organ dating back to the 19th century, and memorials honoring those who shaped both the church and the broader community.
One of the highlights of the visit is the stained-glass collection, each pane telling biblical and commemorative stories in vivid color. Art and history lovers alike will enjoy the ecclesiastical artistry displayed throughout the interior.
For those interested in the deeper story of the site, historical brochures are often available inside the entrance, and friendly volunteers are sometimes on hand to share stories. The surrounding church gardens offer a lovely, shaded area to pause and reflect, and often serve as a backdrop for photography or small local gatherings.
Don’t miss the adjoining Parish Hall, a place where concerts, lectures, and community support programs continue to reflect the church’s active role in local life.
Conclusion
Christ Church Geelong is more than a historical structure—it’s a living narrative of faith, architecture, and community continuity. With nearly two centuries of history embedded in its sandstone walls, it offers visitors a tranquil yet powerful connection to the past. Whether you come for the history, the architecture, the spiritual experience, or simply a moment of quiet beauty, Christ Church Geelong rewards every visitor with a sense of reverence and wonder that is hard to find elsewhere. It stands gracefully as a reminder that some things—like faith, history, and craftsmanship—endure the test of time.

Kings, Conflicts, and Comebacks
Thru the Bible in a Year Reading through 2 Chronicles 31–33 is like watching a drama unfold, filled with highs of spiritual revival and the lows of moral collapse. We encounter three kings—Hezekiah, Manasseh, and Amon—each leaving a legacy that reveals the spiritual temperature of their time and the responsiveness of God to both rebellion and repentance. Today’s passages challenge us to consider…

Feeling absolutely baked today. Never taking nytol again, it sends me to the shadow realm
#had to wake up early because they gave me the earliest possible time slot for my ikea order#and my sleep schedule has been all kinds of fucked up so i had zero faith in my ability to fall asleep before 2am#nytol had me down for the count by midnight but at what cost#the desk arrived at 9:30. god that was a whole thing as well#mans called me; just said ‘hello this is ikea! we will be there in 20 minutes’#i was like ‘oh that’s great! thank you’ he reiterated ominously: ‘we are coming NOW’ and hung up the phone#so i put together the desk which was a whole ass process and i’m still waiting on the rug and chair because dhl hates me#i feel a bit like lucy westenra probably did when she was getting drained of blood all those times. yes i’m rereading dracula#the nytol induced dreams last night were.. a lot#dreamt i was living in a huge derelict mansion with no drainage system whatsoever… you shit directly through the floor into the room below#and just keep the door to said room shut and hope the smell doesn’t permeate the rest of the house. ???? dreadful concept#so essentially whatever room is below the bathroom is out of bounds forever#also present in the dream was this guy i swear to god i have not thought about in 12 years at least#he was my first ever crush. ever ever. i mean we were both 8 years old#i looked him up. he is now a gay ballet dancer. such is life#we did go to school together throughout like most of the school system but i forgot about him after high school because i mean..#fuck those people. Overcoming Believers will Reign with Christ and Enter the Lord's joy in the Kingdom
The overcoming believers will be rewarded in the coming kingdom with feasting with the Old Testament believers, inheriting eternal life to have a fuller enjoyment of the divine life, entering into the Lord’s joy and saving their soul, and will reign with Christ and rule over the nations. May we aspire to be the Lord’s overcoming believers today, those who will be rewarded at His coming with the…
