RBC Headcanon

This scene here in "The Pureblood Pretense" chapter 6 says there's a tapestry painting of the basilisk that might not have been moving because said basilisk hadn't yet died. Which means that when the basilisk does die the tapestry will be able to move about in that painting. Which means that Rigel, if she isn't too traumatized to do so, could visit the painting and talk her back to sanity. Or Evan the snake, who was already aware of her before she died.

~ Cygnus and you met at a thoroughbred party. You were the first woman to attract Cygnus' attention. So it didn't take long for Cygnus to start courting you. After a short courtship, he proposed to you. Your wedding day was so glamorous.

~ After marriage, Cygnus wanted heirs. It was impossible for her older brother Alphard to have children. Even if her older sister and Orion were married for a few years, they did not have children. Moreover, he did not consider Orion worthy of being an heir. You want your children to be too. You got pregnant safely in a short time.

~ Cygnus has taken great care of you in all your pregnancies. He found all your requests, even though it was too late, and brought them to you. He was trying to put his hands on your stomach and feel the baby's movements. In 1951, your twin sons, Archer and Rigel, were born. Cygnus took your sons in his arms with a proud smile on his face. ~ You are very happy when your children receive their Hogwarts acceptance letters. You say you and Cygnus are proud of them. Cygnus is very proud that each of your children has settled in the Slytherin house.

~ You support Walburga during her pregnancies and giving birth. You share your experiences with him about children. You help her with motherhood as much as you can.

~ You strive to have good relations with your children's cousins. You act as a mediator when they fight.

~ Sirius and Regulus see you as a mother figure. Since Sirius Slytherine was not elected, you are giving him emotional support against the pressures. Regulus is a happier and more talkative boy next to you and his cousins.

~ You secretly support Sirius after he escaped. You give him a house inherited from your own family. You send a letter at least once a week to make sure you're okay.

~ Your sons are marrying pureblood witches. Your daughters Bellatrix and Andromeda Lestrange are getting engaged with their brothers. Andromeda doesn't want that, even if Bellatrix doesn't really care. You knew Andromedan was in love with a muggle. You had a private conversation with your daughter about it. You said that if she really loves, she should run away. Maybe you wouldn't be a happy family like before, but you would never turn away from him. You promised to write secretly. Andy had given up on running. Your two daughters had a beautiful wedding. Later, your daughter Narcissa married Lucius Malfoy. Even if you don't like your grooms very much, it's okay for you as long as your girls are happy.

~ You have always been there for your daughters during their pregnancy and giving birth. You helped your grandchildren as much as you could. With Cygnus, you win grandparents of the year awards.

~ You're saving Regulus' life. But for his sake, you had to keep this secret. After Orion dies, Walburga's condition worsens. You are doing your best to support him in these difficult days. You try not to leave him alone.

~ You do everything to protect your family during the wizarding war. You are very afraid that something will happen to your children and grandchildren. However, thanks to the luck on your side, you will not lose anyone from your family.

~After your husband dies, you have 12 Grimmauld Places. Because there are no other Black survivors. You spend most of your time with your children and grandchildren.

~ You are very sad when Sirius is sent to Akzaban. You believe with all your heart that he is innocent. You are the first person Sirius from Akzaban went to when he came out. You give him a place to stay and hide him.

So I’ve finally finished the rigel black chronicles up to where it is left off at currently and tbh I have a bad habit of not really keeping up with descriptions of characters as i read so this is how I’ve been imagining Rigel (I’m pretty sure he has short hair but I liked imaging him having hair closer to sirius’ that he can put up to do potions)

Also I tried to make this drawing androgynous but it feel I draw androgyny better when it’s unintentional lol

AU - part II

Sirius lost everything in a single night, trapped in Azkaban for 12 years, sees Peter in the newspaper and decides to escape.

Upon meeting his godson at Hogwarts he discovers that he has a son.

If that wasn't enough, he sees that his son's mother started a family with someone he always hated. And both his son and his godson are Slytherins and consider "Snivellus" their father.
