The twins are SO smart. They successfully sneak into a MASSIVE dragon hunter operation, Ruff managed to steal that key by faking an emotional breakdown and confuse Viggo about when they would attack, they're constantly teaching the gang new words and concepts, they speak at LEAST 3 languages, they've written at LEAST one book that was on the top of some best seller list somewhere, they've memorized so many random facts that they will never need, they've managed to learn how to fly through the air and do BATTLE while working together with each other AND both heads of their dragon as ONE UNIT

In love with how the gang interacts with one another's dragons.

Like, these dragons are their friends too just as much as their own are.

Tuffnut will give Toothless high fives and talk to him, Astrid will bring Hookfang fish and laugh with him at Snotlout and they'll give each other's dragons nicknames and communicate with them like friends and Hiccup will be sassy at Barf and Belch and he loves all dragons so so much but especially the ones he bonded with first and they're so close to him and one of the riders will look after Meatlug if Fishlegs is unavailable and share a look with Toothless when Hiccup is being stupid and they'd get so protective of Hookfang, Tuffnut will tell them bedtime stories and Snotlout will vent to them and Hiccup treats them like one would humans and Fishlegs will infodump about something to them and Astrid will give them The Look™️ that she gives her friends if they're being stupid and Ruffnut will involve them in her prank plans and they all talk to one another's dragon like those dragons are their best friends and any of them would recognize one another's dragons even in hoards of wild monstrous nightmares or nadders or gronckles or zipplebacks

I'm just so normal about the gang and their dragons.

Fun faaact, Ruffnut's Trancemare was my first ever Premium dragon in RoB ^^ I love it so much, it is so so pretty, and it's still my best fish gatherer out of all of my dragons <3

i could rant forever on how much i hate him and how much i dislike him as a villain and that viggo was, and always will be, the greatest HTTYD villain of all time.

I think we should all thank Stoick and Astrid for giving us the Dragon Riders. Because if it wasn't for one giving Hiccup the kill ring to establish the Dragon Academy and the other for periodically reminding Hiccup he had human friends now, too, Hiccup probably wouldn't be as close to Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut as he ended up being.

HTTYD theory:

Why are Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut the only people their age?? Like any other kids we see are always younger than them. Why does their generation consist of literally only six people?? (Unless they exist off screen but why were they never shown??? Cause they're not main characters??? I refuse to accept it)

MY theory is when Hiccup and the others were babies, there was a particularly tough winter, or maybe a sickness that ravaged Berk's children so horribly that most of them died. And the gang were literally the only survivors.

Like no wonder Astrid felt so much pressure to be a good dragon killer (in the first film obviously). Because to her they were picked for a reason, spared by Thor. Like the pressure that they all must have felt being the Children That Survived. But eventually becoming the kids that literally CHANGED THEIR WORLD, and ended up saving Berk their own way. Like this group of kids that survived, who because of that felt pressured, afraid that they'd never be able to take care of and protect their home on their own, ended up doing it in a way they could've never imagined. And that's beautiful to me.

Do you ever wonder where the other vikings are that’s the same age as the gang?

I mean, all the vikings in the franchise either seem to be 5-10 or 30-50. The only person I know that’s 13-21 is gustav (which who appears in rtte series).

I don’t know if they were born in like a disease or a deadly virus that effected the pregnancy, birth, or while the child was growing in that period of time.

Tell me this, did the gang (including heather) just only and I mean ONLY hang out with each other OR could they go out and hang with other friends if they were able to, considering there’s multiple people in the village that’s their age group?
