So remember in HTTYD 1 where Gobber says that the only use hiccup dragon would have for a dragon would be as a toothpick? When he meets toothless he has no interest in doing that, so THAT WAS WHY HE CALLED HIM TOOTHLESS

i think httyd book 4 has to be one of my favorites from the series so far. hiccup making toothless a coat to keep him warm through hibernation and toothless trying not to be embarrassed about it and calling it stylish was so cute. hiccup immediately choosing to do the impossible improbable of finding the cure to save his best friend. camicazi accompanying hiccup on the quest and her saying, 'your exit, my lord' after picking the lock of his cage, oh i just love her. hiccup setting fire and destroying the hysteric great hall. hiccup gaining one eye's admiration by the end despite his hatred for humans and norbert's respect for lifting the curse. hiccup crying and shouting, 'i don't want to be the chosen one!... i wanted to cheat the curse on fishlegs! all i want is my friend...' after the doomfang steals the cure, which had me so upset btw he loves and cares for fishlegs so much... also the twist of him being the one that was cursed waughh !!

but my favorite part of all, hiccup taking norbert's axe and making it land on its right side - ending his epilogue with the mention of the doomfang following him like a guardian angel and of course, 'you do not have to accept the hand that fate has dealt you... i catch the axe before it lands, i make my own fate... i save myself.' like are you kidding me !!!! hiccup horrendous haddock the third.. the best to ever do it !!!!!
